Abstract

The invention relates to a signal device (10a; 10b; 10c; 10e) for at least one letter box (12a; 12b), which is designed to indicate a fill state of the letter box (12a; 12b), having a fastening unit (14a; 14b; 14c; 14d; 14e) for detachable connection to the letter box (12a; 12b) and having an indication unit (16a; 16b; 16c; 16e) that indicates the fill state of the letter box (12a; 12b). It is proposed that the fastening unit (14a; 14b; 14c; 14d; 14e) has a fastening interface (20a; 20b; 20c; 20d; 20e), having a main extension plane, and a connecting element (22a; 22b; 22c; 22d; 22e), the indication unit (16a; 16b; 16c; 16e) being arranged on the connecting element (22a; 22b; 22c; 22d; 22e) so as to be pivotable about a pivot axis (24a; 24b; 24c; 24d; 24e), and the pivot axis (24a; 24b; 24c; 24d; 24e) being oriented at least substantially perpendicular to the main extension plane of the fastening interface (20a; 20b; 20c; 20d; 20e).
