Abstract

Present disclosure provides system and method for enabling a secure and verifiable process for Application-to-Person (A2P) SMS transmission using Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) network. The process commences with registering a plurality of entities involved in SMS delivery; each assigned an identifier. A predefined SMS delivery path may then be established based on the identifier, and a predefined hash value is determined and stored on the DLT network. During real-time SMS transmission, the actual sequence of entities traversed by the SMS is used to generate a real-time hash value, which is then compared with the predefined hash value. If both the hash values match, the SMS may be delivered, ensuring compliance with the approved route. If they do not match, the SMS may be rejected, preventing unauthorized message manipulation, thus ensuring that SMSs follow an authorized and predefined delivery path, preventing fraud and unauthorized routing.
