Description

A template for three-dimensional down filling quilting in down jackets and a method for preparing three-dimensional down filling channels in down jackets.

[0001] This application claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No. 202510175522.3, filed on February 18, 2025, entitled "A Three-Dimensional Down Filling Quilting Template for Down Jackets and a Method for Preparing Three-Dimensional Down Filling Channels for Down Jackets", the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference. Technical Field

[0002] This invention relates to a garment manufacturing template and a method for preparing a down filling channel, belonging to the field of sewing device technology. Background Technology

[0003] Down jackets sometimes feature textured, three-dimensional designs. Quilting generally refers to the stitching used to secure the filling (such as cotton or down) and lining to the outer fabric. In down jacket manufacturing, quilting creates multiple down-filled areas, fixing the down in different zones to prevent clumping or shifting. This textured design allows body heat to circulate within the garment, enhancing its insulation. When creating textured, three-dimensional quilted designs on down jackets, the width of the fabric forming the filling channels is significantly greater than the width of the fabric on the other side. Therefore, workers typically need to manually align the fabric on both sides to be sewn, a highly difficult and inefficient process that often results in uneven garment pieces. Summary of the Invention

[0004] To address the shortcomings of the prior art, this invention provides a three-dimensional down filling quilting template for down jackets and a method for preparing a three-dimensional down filling channel for down jackets. The purpose is to solve the problems of difficulty in aligning upper and lower fabrics of different widths and low sewing efficiency when sewing a three-dimensional down filling channel.

[0005] The technical solution of the present invention is as follows: a three-dimensional down filling quilting template for down jackets, comprising a base plate and a cover plate, one side of the cover plate being rotatably connected to one side of the base plate, the base plate being provided with a plurality of first sewing channels, and the cover plate being provided with a plurality of second sewing channels, wherein when the cover plate is stacked on the base plate, the first sewing channels and the second sewing channels are applied vertically to quilting, and a plurality of pressure plate groups are provided between the base plate and the cover plate, one end of each pressure plate group being connected to the base plate, each pressure plate group being provided with a plurality of pressure plates that can be stacked vertically, each pressure plate being provided with a strip-shaped sheet, the strip-shaped sheet being located between adjacent first sewing channels.

[0006] Furthermore, the base plate is provided with limiting protrusions for restricting the strip-shaped sheet, and when the pressing sheet is stacked on the base plate, the end of the strip-shaped sheet is located between the limiting protrusions.

[0007] Furthermore, the head end of the tablet is rotatably connected to the base plate.

[0008] Furthermore, the rotatable connection positions between the head end of each of the pressure plates and the base plate are arranged at intervals.

[0009] Furthermore, the width of the strip-shaped sheet is at least 0.6 cm less than the spacing between adjacent first sewing channels.

[0010] Furthermore, the base plate is provided with several positioning adhesive strips.

[0011] Furthermore, the cover plate is provided with several marking holes.

[0012] Furthermore, the cover plate is made of a transparent sheet material.

[0013] Another technical solution of the present invention is: a method for preparing a three-dimensional down filling channel for a down jacket, using the aforementioned three-dimensional down filling quilting template for a down jacket, including the following steps: opening the cover plate, positioning the first fabric of the down filling channel on the base plate, stacking the second fabric of the down filling channel on the first fabric, pressing the first pressing plate cover of the first pressing plate group on the second fabric, folding the second fabric to the left along the right edge of the first pressing plate, pressing the second pressing plate cover of the first pressing plate group on the back of the second fabric, folding the second fabric to the right along the left edge of the second pressing plate, and so on to complete the operation of all pressing plates of the first pressing plate group. Then, the remaining pressing plate groups are operated in the same way as the first pressing plate group. Finally, the cover plate is flipped and closed, and quilting is performed through the overlapping first and second sewing channels.

[0014] Furthermore, after the quilting is sewn, positioning marks are made through the marking holes on the cover plate.

[0015] The advantages of the technical solution provided by this invention are as follows:

[0016] 1. By folding the first fabric around the pressing plate group, the portion of the second fabric that is wider than the first fabric on the down filling channel is folded and folded and contracted, ensuring that the quilting positions of the first and second fabrics are quickly aligned. At the same time, the second fabric is contracted in an orderly manner, so there is no need to manually arrange the second fabric during sewing, and it will not obscure or affect the quilting position.

[0017] 2. Easy to operate and accurate positioning. The template sewing process avoids quality abnormalities caused by quilting thread deviation and the size of the channel between quilting threads. It can ensure that the quilting position of the three-dimensional down filling channel in the product is accurate, improve the sewing quality of the down filling channel, and make the product more beautiful.

[0018] 3. Overall, it improves production efficiency and reduces the number of operation steps and times, as well as manpower. Attached Figure Description

[0022] The present invention will be further described below with reference to embodiments. It should be understood that these embodiments are only for illustrating the present invention and are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention. After reading this description, any modifications of this description in various equivalent forms by those skilled in the art will fall within the scope defined by the appended claims.

[0023] Referring to Figures 1 and 2, the down jacket three-dimensional filling quilting template of this embodiment includes a base plate 1, a cover plate 2, and multiple pressing sheet groups 3 located between the base plate 1 and the cover plate 2. Each pressing sheet group 3 contains multiple pressing sheets 301. The base plate 1, cover plate 2, and pressing sheets 301 are generally made of transparent PVC material. The base plate 1, cover plate 2, and pressing sheets 301 can also be made of other transparent sheet materials.

[0024] The cover plate 2 and the base plate 1 are rotatably connected on one side of the base plate 1. Usually, flexible adhesive tape is used to stick the cover plate 2 and the base plate 1 respectively, so that the cover plate 2 can be flipped around this side of the base plate 1 to cover the base plate 1.

[0025] A plurality of first sewing channels 101 are formed on the base plate 1 according to the number and spacing of the quilting threads. Each first sewing channel 101 is a round-headed rectangular groove, and these first sewing channels 101 are arranged parallel to each other. A round-headed rectangular groove means that the two opposite groove walls in the groove extension direction are arc-shaped. A second sewing channel 201 is formed on the cover plate 2, and each second sewing channel 201 is also a round-headed rectangular groove. After the cover plate 2 is stacked on the base plate 1, the second sewing channels 201 and the first sewing channels 101 are vertically aligned. As a preferred embodiment, this embodiment also provides a plurality of positioning adhesive strips 102, such as double-sided adhesive strips, on the base plate 1 to fix the bottom layer of fabric and prevent the bottom layer of fabric from being lifted during subsequent operations. A plurality of marking holes 202 are also provided on the cover plate 2 for positioning marking on the fabric.

[0026] Each tablet 301 in the tablet compression assembly 3 is rotatably connected to the base plate 1. Specifically, each tablet 301 includes a connecting part 301a and a strip-shaped tablet body 301b. The connecting part 301a is the head end of the tablet 301, and the connecting part 301a and the strip-shaped tablet body 301b form a T-shape. The side of the connecting part 301a away from the strip-shaped tablet body 301b is rotatably connected to the base plate 1, and its connection method is similar to the connection method between the cover plate 2 and the base plate 1, which can be achieved using flexible adhesive tape. When the pressing sheet 301 is stacked on the base plate 1, the strip-shaped sheet 301b is located between two adjacent first sewing channels 101. The width of the strip-shaped sheet 301b is more than 0.6cm less than the distance between the adjacent first sewing channels 101. That is to say, the edge of the strip-shaped sheet 301b is more than 0.3cm away from the first sewing channel 101, so as to avoid the first sewing channel 101 being too close to the strip-shaped sheet 301b, so that the fabric on the strip-shaped sheet 301b will affect the sewing during sewing.

[0027] In this embodiment, each pressing group 3 includes four pressing sheets 301. The four pressing sheets 301 are not rotated at the same position as the base plate 1 to avoid excessive thickness at the head of the pressing group 3. Specifically, the head end (i.e., the connecting part 301a) of each pressing sheet 301 is arranged at intervals with the rotational connection position of the base plate 1, and the rotation axis is arranged in parallel. When all pressing sheets 301 are stacked on the base plate 1, the pressing sheets 301 of the upper layer are stacked on top of the pressing sheets 301 of the lower layer, and the strip-shaped sheet bodies 301b of the pressing sheets 301 in a pressing group 3 are all located between adjacent first sewing channels 101.

[0028] Since the press sheet 301 is a long and thin strip, in order to stabilize the position of the press sheet 301 stacked on the base plate 1, a limiting protrusion 103 is provided on the base plate 1 to limit the strip-shaped sheet 301b. The limiting protrusion 3 can be a sponge strip. The limiting protrusion 103 is in the extension direction of the first sewing channel 101. When the press sheet 301 is stacked on the base plate 1, the end of the strip-shaped sheet 301b is located between the limiting protrusions 103, which can prevent the strip-shaped sheet 301b from swaying left and right.

[0029] Referring further to Figure 3, the method for preparing the three-dimensional down filling channel of a down jacket using the down jacket three-dimensional filling quilting template of this embodiment is as follows:

[0030] Place the base plate 1 flat on the table, open the cover plate 2 and all the pressure plates 301, and place the first fabric 4 on the base plate 1 according to the preset position, and fix it with the positioning adhesive strip 102.

[0031] The second fabric 5 of the down filling channel is placed on the first fabric 4. The second fabric 5 can be a single layer or a multi-layer composite fabric, depending on the garment design.

[0032] Flip the first pressing sheet 301 of the first pressing sheet group 3 so that the strip-shaped sheet 301b of the first pressing sheet 301 covers the second fabric 5, with the end of the strip-shaped sheet 301b located between the two limiting protrusions 103.

[0033] Fold the second fabric 5 to the left along the right edge of the first pressing sheet 301 (strip sheet 301b). When flipping the second fabric 5, the first fabric 4 will not be lifted by the second fabric 5 because it is fixed by the positioning adhesive strip 102.

[0034] Flip the second pressing sheet 301 of the first pressing sheet group 3 so that the strip-shaped sheet 301b of the second pressing sheet 301 covers the back of the second fabric 5, with the end of the strip-shaped sheet 301b located between the two limiting protrusions 103.

[0035] Fold the second fabric 5 to the right along the left edge of the second pressing sheet 301 (strip sheet 301b).

[0036] Flip the third pressing sheet 301 of the first pressing sheet group 3 so that the strip-shaped sheet 301b of the third pressing sheet 301 covers the second fabric 5, with the end of the strip-shaped sheet 301b located between the two limiting protrusions 103.

[0037] Fold the second fabric 5 to the left along the right edge of the third pressing sheet 301 (strip sheet 301b).

[0038] Flip the fourth pressing sheet 301 of the first pressing sheet group 3 so that the strip-shaped sheet 301b of the fourth pressing sheet 301 covers the back of the second fabric 5, with the end of the strip-shaped sheet 301b located between the two limiting protrusions 103.

[0039] Fold the second fabric 5 to the right along the left edge of the fourth pressing sheet 301 (strip sheet 301b).

[0040] This completes all operations for the first tablet pressing group 3. Then, the remaining tablet pressing groups 3 are operated in the same manner as the first tablet pressing group 3. After all tablet pressing groups 3 have been operated, the cover plate 2 is flipped over to cover the base plate 1. Finally, the sewing machine sews the tablets through the second sewing channel 201 and the first sewing channel 101. After sewing, the operator can use a marker to mark the position through the marking hole 202 on the cover plate 2 as needed, facilitating subsequent production processes.
