[0004] The invention relates to a locking mechanism for fast and easy insertion of small earring into the ear by the wearer.

[0005] Prior Art

[0006] The so-called earring worn in the ear are mostly jewellery with a small structure. The shrinkage of the object makes it highly difficult to attach the jewellery to the ear part and this situation often turns into a frustrating situation for the users.

[0007] One of the main problems with the locking mechanisms of the earring used in the present technique is the length of time it takes to trigger the locking mechanism. Activating and deactivating the locking mechanism is tiring for users and greatly reduces the attractiveness of the product.

[0008] Since the earring are worn on the ear part, the ear area is not visible to the user. Tactile feedback and installation of the assembly is therefore often unsuccessful. This causes the process of wearing earring to take a lot of time.

[0009] The application numbered TR2023 / 007535 in the patent search in the present art is related to the improvement on the earring locking mechanism having a fixed part and a movable part positioned on the earring, a fixing protrusion positioned on the fixed part, a fixing hole positioned on the movable part and a spring and spring housing and spring hinge located on the inside of the movable part.

A lock assembly for jewellery such as necklaces, earring, bracelets and bracelets comprising a movable part configured in the main body of said jewellery and a lock housing, spring and latch which bear the movement of said movable part by means of a pivot point, characterized in that; a movement cavity formed in said lock housing, amovable part positioned in said movement cavity and having an outer form surface of the same form and smoothness as the outer diameter surface of the jewellery, and a groove formed in the lock housing to provide movement of said movable part by pressing movement from the top.Disclosure of Invention

[0011] The aim of the invention is to provide a locking mechanism with different technical features that brings a new opening in this field, unlike the earring lock assemblies used in the present technique. The most important object of the invention is that the rotation movement of the latch takes place in a different axis by 90 degrees. Compared to the previous technique; by changing the centre of rotation, the user can perform the locking operation effortlessly.

[0034] Detailed Description of the Invention

[0035] Figure-1 illustrates the general appearance of the earring (10). Illustrated is a locking mechanism (A) for earring (10) comprising an earring frame (11), a lock housing (20) configured on said earring frame (11), a latch (21) for locking within said lock housing (20).

[0036] In Figure-2, a pivot point (R) with a pivot hole (29.1) is formed on the rear surface (20.1) of the lock housing (20). It is very important to establish the pivot point (R) on the dorsal surface (20.1). Because in the previous technique, the rotation movement was made from the lateral surface of the lock housing (20). With the new rotation movement, this movement is performed at a different angle and area of 90 degrees. This ensures fast and easy locking.

[0037] A movable lock (22) having a pivot hole (25) formed in its lateral surface (22.2), which is centred in said pivot hole (29.1) by means of a pin (29.2), and a tab (24) facing towards said internal wall (29.3) and activating / deactivating the locking in the tab slot (21.1) by finger pressure towards said internal wall.

There is a pivot point (R) formedon the rear surface (20.1) to enable quick and easy intervention in locking, without the need to be formed on the lateral surface (20.2) of the aforementioned lock housing (20), see figure-2.

[0039] The said rear surface (20.1) comprises a movable lock (22) which, by means of a pivot point (R), performs a limited rotational movement in the p-p 1 directions on said rear surface (20.1 ), and which is moved towards and away from the lateral surface of the lock housing (20) in the f-f1 directions (see figure-6). In this system, the pawl (24) is positioned facing the lateral surface (20.2) of the lock housing (20) and is moved towards the lateral surface (20.2) and inserted into the pawl slot (21.1). Tactile protrusions (23) are formed on the rear surface (22.1) of said movable lock (22) to ensure tactile feedback and easy locking.

[0040] On the other hand, at least one support block (27) positioned in said positioning slot (28), on which the end of the latch (21) is rested, and a contact groove (29) formed on the lateral surface (20.2) of said lock housing (20), which ensures the continuity of the pressing movement of the movable lock (22) by interfering with the tactile protrusions (23).

[0041] In Figure-6; the working position and shape of the locking mechanism (A) is illustrated. The most important feature that distinguishes this invention is the configuration of the pivot point (R) on the rear surface of the earring (10). The rotation movement is as follows: When the tactile protrusions (23) contact the finger, the movable lock (22) makes a partial pivot movement in the P-P1 directions by means of the pivot point (R), so that the latch pin (24) enters the latch pin slot (21.1) (see figure-5). By moving the pivot point (R) to a different axis, the rear surface of the cube becomes rigid, and no elevations and shape differences occur on this surface. Because in the previous technique, the printing surfaces were on the rear surface of the earring. In other words, locking was achieved by pressing on the lock housing structured on the rear surface of the earring to put the lock in the active or deactivated position. This caused the rear surface of the earring to enlarge, visually distorting the design and making it difficult to lock. However, in this new technique, the movable lock (22) is nested in the positioning slot (28) formed on the lateral surface of the lock housing (20) and makes a rotational movement in this area (see figure-4). The movable lock (22) is centred in this slot by means of the pivot hole (25) and the claw (24) is moved towards the claw slot (21.1 ) at different angles and positions. This is because moving the movable lock (22) at an angle of approximately 90 degrees in another area provides fast tactile feedback and easy locking for the user.

Claims

CLAIMS1- The invention is characterized in that it is a locking mechanism (A) for earring (10) comprising an earring frame (11), a lock housing (20) configured on said earring frame (11), a latch (21) for locking within said lock housing (20).- pivot hole (29.1) formed in the dorsal surface (20.1) of said lock housing (20), - movable lock (22) having a pivot hole (25) formed in its lateral surface (22.2), which is centred by means of a pin (29.2) in said pivot hole (29.1),- movable lock (22) positioned in the positioning slot (28) so that the rotation movement is towards and away from the internal wall (29.3),- the pawl (24) facing towards said internal wall (29.3) and activating / deactivating the locking in the pawl slot (21.1) by finger pressure against said internal wall,- at least one spring (30) configured from the spring housing (26), which exerts a continuous spring-loaded movement on said movable lock (22), and- said lock housing (20) comprises a pivot point (R) formed on the rear surface (20.1) to enable quick and easy intervention in locking, without the need to form it on the lateral surface (20.2).2- The lock assembly (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises a movable lock (22) which performs a restricted rotational movement in the p-p1 directions on said rear surface (20.1) by means of a pivot point (R), and in which converging and diverging movements in the f-f1 directions are made towards the lateral surface of the lock housing (20).3- The lock assembly (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that said lock housing (20) comprises a tab (24) which is positioned facing the lateral surface (20.2) of said lock housing (20) and which is moved towards said lateral surface (20.2), and which is received in the tab slot (21.1).4- The lock assembly (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that said movable lock (22) comprises tactile protrusions (23) formed on the rear surface (22.1) of said movable lock (22) to ensure tactile feedback and easy locking.5- The lock assembly (1 ) according to claim 1 , characterized in that it comprises at least one support block (27) positioned in said positioning slot (28), on which the end of the latch (21) rests.6- The lock assembly (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that said lock housing (20) comprises a contact groove (29) formed in the lateral surface (20.2) of said lock housing (20), which, together with the interference with the tactile protrusions (23), ensures the continuity of the pressing movement on the movable lock (22).
