A method for preparing a *Lactobacillus plantarum* enrichment agent and its application.

Abstract

This invention discloses a method for preparing a *Lactobacillus plantarum* enrichment agent and its application, relating to the field of microbial technology. The preparation method includes: extracting traditional Chinese medicine to obtain medicinal residue; enzymatically hydrolyzing the residue; adjusting the pH to neutral to obtain the enrichment agent; wherein the traditional Chinese medicine is selected from one or more of the following: dried tangerine peel, white hyacinth bean, coix seed, polygonatum, lotus leaf, dendrobium officinale, licorice, atractylodes macrocephala, poria cocos, chicken gizzard lining, roasted malt, wolfberry, kudzu root, and clove. The *Lactobacillus plantarum* enrichment agent provided by this invention uses medicinal residue as raw material and is specifically processed using a compound enzyme. It has low raw material costs, high product added value, and can significantly increase the viable count of *Lactobacillus plantarum* in a unit volume of fermentation broth, effectively reducing the cost of preparing highly active *Lactobacillus plantarum* inoculants.
