Abstract
Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention relates to the field of personal security devices. More specifically, the present invention relates to a wearable AI-based women's security device for enhancing personal safety by continuously monitoring the user's environment and automatically detecting potential threats in real time. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] The safety of women in public and remote areas has become a global concern, with increasing reports of harassment, assault, and kidnapping. Despite numerous efforts to combat these threats, the risks to women continue to grow. Traditional personal safety devices—such as alarms, pepper sprays, and emergency hotlines—have proven to be of limited effectiveness. These devices are typically reactive and must be manually activated once a threat has occurred. In situations of high stress or physical impairment, a woman may not have the means or ability to activate such devices, limiting their usefulness in emergencies.
[0003] The emergence of wearable technology and artificial intelligence (AI) offers new opportunities to improve personal safety through the development of proactive, autonomous systems that can detect and respond to potential threats in real time. AI can analyze environmental data from various sources, such as movement patterns, sounds, or changes in location, to predict when a user may be in danger. Integrating AI into wearable devices can provide continuous protection without manual intervention, allowing the system to autonomously identify threats and initiate protective measures, such as alerting emergency contacts, notifying authorities, and transmitting location data in real time.
[0004] Despite the clear advantages of these new technologies, however, there is currently no fully integrated solution that harnesses the full potential of AI to meet the specific security needs of women. Existing systems are either limited in functionality or rely too heavily on user input, which can lead to errors in critical moments of need. A comprehensive solution is needed—one that combines location tracking, real-time threat detection, and rapid emergency response, all powered by AI. Such a system would represent a significant advance in personal security by autonomously detecting threats, communicating the user's location to loved ones or authorities, and deterring attackers with alarms or other defensive measures—all without the need for manual activation.
[0005] To overcome these limitations, a wearable, AI-based safety device for women must be developed that significantly improves women's personal safety by utilizing cutting-edge technology for real-time threat detection and response. The device integrates advanced sensors—such as GPS modules, motion sensors, and sound analyzers—that continuously monitor the user's environment for abnormal behavior such as sudden movements, loud noises, or attempts at physical restraint. Upon detecting a potential threat, the device activates a series of safety measures, including sending real-time alerts to emergency contacts, transmitting the user's location, triggering an audible alarm, and optionally notifying local authorities.
[0006] The technical advances disclosed by the present invention overcome the limitations and disadvantages of existing and conventional systems and methods. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
