Description

[0001] DESCRIPTION

[0002] TITLE: CARE AND / OR MAKE-UP COMPOSITION COMPRISING ONE OR MORE PIGMENTS

[0003] FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0004] The present invention relates to the cosmetic field and in particular to cosmetic compositions for the care and / or makeup of keratin materials, in particular of the skin, eyelids, eyebrows or lips.

[0005] STATE OF THE ART

[0006] Skin and / or lip care and / or makeup products intended to beautify and / or color the skin and / or lips are widespread. Products are known in particular in liquid, semi-fluid or solid form. For performance in terms of hold (non-transfer) and comfort on application, film-forming polymers, volatile oils, gelling agents or fatty phase structuring agents, and fillers are generally used to improve the texture and / or sensoriality of the deposit. However, the use of pigments in skincare or makeup compositions, in combination with other ingredients and in particular film-forming polymers, can lead to color inhomogeneities in the compositions, such as color flows or marbling in the compositions.

[0007] The Applicant has notably observed that compositions comprising a silicone-polyurethane polymer and pigments could exhibit color inhomogeneities such as color flows and / or marbling, particularly on stick compositions. It has therefore sought to improve the homogeneity of said compositions and demonstrated that the use of a silicone surfactant (C8-C20)alkyl PEG-n Tris(trimethylsiloxy)silyl-(C1-C4)alkyl dimethicone as defined according to the invention, made it possible to meet this need.

[0008] STATEMENT OF THE INVENTION

[0009] A first aspect of the invention is therefore a cosmetic composition for the care and / or makeup of keratin materials, in particular the skin, eyelids, eyebrows or lips, comprising, in a physiologically acceptable medium: a) a silicone-polyurethane polymer, b) one or more pigments, advantageously treated lipophilic, and c) a silicone surfactant (C8-C20)alkyl PEG-n Tris(trimethylsiloxy)silyl-(C1-C4)alkyl dimethicone with n ranging from 3 to 20, preferably 8 to 12, the (C8-C20)alkyl chain being a saturated, linear or branched, preferably linear, hydrocarbon chain having from 8 to 20 carbon atoms, preferably from 10 to 14 carbon atoms, and the (C1-C4)alkyl chain being a saturated, linear or branched, preferably linear, hydrocarbon chain having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, preferably 2 carbon atoms.

[0010] Preferably, the composition comprises at least non-white colored pigments (e.g. iron oxides) and optionally additionally white pigments, as pigments.

[0011] Furthermore, preferably, the composition of the invention is an anhydrous composition and more preferably it is an anhydrous and solid composition. It also relates to a cosmetic process for caring for and / or making up keratin materials, in particular the skin, the eyelids, the eyebrows or the lips, preferably the lips, comprising the application to said keratin materials of a composition as defined in the present invention.

[0012] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0013] The invention therefore relates in particular to a cosmetic composition for the care and / or makeup of keratin materials, in particular the skin, eyelids, eyebrows or lips, comprising, in a physiologically acceptable medium: a) a silicone-polyurethane polymer, b) one or more pigments, advantageously treated lipophilic, and c) a silicone surfactant (C8-C20)alkyl PEG-n Tris(trimethylsiloxy)silyl-(C1-C4)alkyl dimethicone with n ranging from 3 to 20, preferably 8 to 12, the (C8-C20)alkyl chain being a saturated, linear or branched, preferably linear, hydrocarbon chain having from 8 to 20 carbon atoms, preferably from 10 to 14 carbon atoms, and the (C1-C4)alkyl chain being a saturated, linear or branched, preferably linear, hydrocarbon chain having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, preferably 2 carbon atoms.

[0014] The term 'keratin materials' means in particular the skin of the face, the eyelids, the eyebrows and the lips. According to a particular embodiment, the composition of the invention is applied to the eyelids, the eyebrows or the lips. Preferably, it is applied to the lips.

[0015] By 'pigments', as defined below, is meant white or colored particles, mineral or organic, insoluble in an aqueous solution, intended to color and / or opacify the resulting deposit. Advantageously in the context of the present invention, the composition will comprise at least colored pigments (non-white) and optionally additionally white pigments.

[0016] According to a first embodiment, the composition is a fluid or liquid composition, that is to say a composition which flows under its own weight at room temperature and atmospheric pressure.

[0017] According to another particular and preferred embodiment of the invention, the composition of the invention is not a fluid or liquid composition. Thus, the composition of the invention will preferably be a pasty composition or a solid composition.

[0018] The rheological properties of a pasty or solid composition according to the invention can be characterized by viscosity / elasticity measurements at 25°C on the final product.

[0019] The viscoelastic parameters of the pasty or solid compositions of the invention are, for example, measured using a DHR2 rheometer from TA Instruments, at 25°C and atmospheric pressure (760 mm Hg).

[0020] For a 'solid or pasty composition' of the invention, a pellet of product is cut and placed between two smooth metal planes of 20 mm diameter and 1 mm air gap. The storage modulus or elastic modulus G' (expressed in Pascal (Pa)) and the delta phase angle in degrees (°) are recorded as a function of an increasing stress ranging from 0.1 Pa to 10,000 Pa. The values retained are extracted from the linear domain in which the moduli are constant, i.e. at deformations lower than 100 Pa.

[0021] A product whose storage modulus G' is greater than 5,000 Pa, and whose delta phase angle is less than 30°, will be considered solid or pasty. Thus, according to a particular and preferred embodiment, a solid or pasty composition of the invention is characterized by a storage modulus G' greater than 5,000 Pa, and whose delta phase angle is less than 30°, as measured according to the protocol described above.

[0024] According to another embodiment, the solid composition of the invention can be characterized by its hardness. This can be measured at 20°C by the so-called "butter wire cutting" method, which consists of transversely cutting a stick of product, preferably cylindrical of revolution, using a rigid metal wire with a diameter of 250 μm by moving the wire relative to the stick at a speed of 60 mm / min. The hardness of the samples is expressed in Gram force (Gf) and can be measured using a texturometer of the Texturometer TAXT Plus type. Preferably, the value obtained must be between 140 and 190.

[0025] According to a first embodiment, the solid composition of the invention is a stick.

[0026] According to another embodiment, the solid or pasty composition of the invention is packaged in a pot or a cup.

[0027] According to a particular and preferred embodiment, the composition of the invention is an anhydrous composition.

[0028] By "anhydrous" is meant in particular that water is preferably not added to the compositions but may be present in trace amounts in the various compounds used in the compositions. In particular, the composition according to the invention comprises less than 4% by weight of water, preferably less than 3%, preferably less than 2%, more preferably less than 1%, even more preferably less than 0.5% by weight of water, relative to the total weight of said composition, or even is completely free of water. [0073] These types of polyorganosiloxane compounds are called copolymer of silicone-polyurethane polymer and T resin or Q resin, branched or grafted.

[0074] Silicone-polyurethane polymers can also be prepared from functionalized isocyanate prepolymers. For example, an isocyanate prepolymer can be a difunctional or multifunctional polyorganosiloxane isocyanate, such as the polyorganosiloxane diisocyanate shown below in Formula V: [Chemi 3] in which R, R 1 and L are as defined above, and where x is an integer between 0 and 5000, preferably between 1 and 200, more preferably between 10 and 100, and even more preferably 10 and 50.

[0184] EXAMPLES Example: Study of the homogeneity of the composition

[0185] [Table 1]

[0186] The composition is prepared according to the following procedure: - the waxes and jojoba esters are weighed and heated under rayneri to 91°C;

[0187] - when everything is homogeneous, the alkanes, the silicone surfactant and the pigments are added and left stirring for 15 minutes;

[0188] - the charges are then dispersed under rayneri and stirred for 10 minutes;

[0189] - the composition is passed through the Ultra-turrax until the pigments and fillers are perfectly homogenized;

[0190] - the composition is returned to the Rayneri at 91°C in order to add the Silmer UR-5050 and leave to stir for 15 minutes;

[0191] - the composition is then completed with volatile linear alkanes;

[0192] - the composition is hot-poured into the packaging.

[0193] The homogeneity of the compositions is observed with the naked eye, on the bulk (before pouring) and on the stick once poured.

[0194] The results are presented in the following table:

[0195] [Table 2]

[0196] These results illustrate that the presence of a silicone surfactant C8-C20)alkyl PEG-n Tris(trimethylsiloxy)silyl-(C1-C4)alkyl dimethicone as defined in the invention makes it possible to obtain a homogeneous composition, without flow or marbling, compared to the control composition (without surfactant) and to the composition with another silicone surfactant (cetyl dimethicone).
