Description

The present invention relates to a device for relieving burns by body contact using a device made of a thermally conductive material, such as slate, which can be positioned in a fabric support with a removable opening and closing mechanism. There is no similar product on the market. Patients struggle to find relief and use creams or other oral medications without much success. The device according to the invention makes it possible to remedy this drawback by relieving the burning sensations associated with the side effects of radiotherapy treatments. Indeed, through bodily application, the thermo-conductive material, such as slate, of this device allows it to absorb heat. Rectangular (fig.1) or square (fig.2) in shape depending on the area to be treated, this product must be smooth by polishing with rounded edges to provide comfort during its use. This device can be positioned in an adjustable fabric cover (2 in Figs. 3 and 4). The cover must be adapted to the shape of the chosen device, either for the rectangular model (Fig. 3) or the square model (Fig. 4). It must have a removable opening and closing mechanism, such as a hook-and-loop fastener (1 in Figs. 3 and 4), a snap closure, a ratchet closure, or a zipper. The attached drawings illustrate the invention: -Figure 1 shows the rectangular model from the front, side, and bottom. -Figure 2 shows a square variant from the front, side, and bottom. As a non-limiting example, this device will have dimensions of approximately 150x100x8mm for Figure 1 and approximately 60x60x8mm for Figure 2. - Figure 3 shows the adjustable fabric cover (2) with a hook-and-loop closure system (1) in front view for the rectangular model. - Figure 4 shows the adjustable fabric cover (2) with a hook-and-loop closure system (1) in front view for the square model. As a non-limiting example, this device will have dimensions of approximately 1300x270mm for figure 3 and approximately 200x180mm for figure 4. The device according to the invention, which relieves the burning sensation, can be used by an individual at home or by a medical facility. 1) Device for relieving the burning sensation by body contact characterized in that it is made of a thermoconductive material (1) of rectangular or square shape with rounded edges and smooth (2) positionable in an adjustable fabric cover (3). 2) Device in that the material which constitutes it is thermally conductive of the slate or ceramic type. 3) Kit includes: A device (to relieve a burning sensation). An adjustable cover (3) made of fabric with automatic removable opening and closing snap, snap, ratchet or zipper closure.

Claims

-3- CLAIMS 1) Device for relieving the sensation of burning by bodily contact characterized in that it is made of a heat-conducting material which absorbs heat (1) of rectangular or square shape with rounded and smooth edges (2) positionable in an adjustable fabric cover (3). 5 2) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the material which is either thermally conductive or of the slate or ceramic type. 3) Kit including: A device for relieving a burning sensation according to any one of claims 1 or 2. 10 - An adjustable cover (3) in fabric with removable opening and closing type hook-and-loop, snap, ratchet or zipper closure.
