Abstract

The present invention is an electronic means destined to protect the user from injuries during the operation of a meat-cutting machine and ensure the safe use of said mechanism, excluding potential injuries. The invented protection mechanism is based on detecting temperature differences between the processing object and the user. Thus, with an infrared temperature sensor, we can obtain two temperature measurements: one of the surrounding space and one of the object or subject, without previous contact with the processing object or the user. Said sensor, being connected to a platform and supported by software, is able to monitor, in real time, the temperature of the surrounding cutting and meat-processing area as well as the temperature at the critical point where the meat enters processing. If this temperature exceeds the limit set in the software program, the processing machine operation is immediately terminated.
