Abstract

Systems, devices, methods, and computer program products are disclosed for training an image analysis engine to identify aboveground surface features consistent with subsurface hydrogen accumulation. An exemplary method includes receiving, by a communications circuit, a training dataset of labeled images illustrating surface features consistent with subsurface hydrogen accumulation, the surface features consistent with subsurface hydrogen accumulation including oval surface depressions. The exemplary method further includes training, by a model generation device and using the training dataset, an image classification model of the image analysis engine to identify whether a new image includes surface features consistent with subsurface hydrogen accumulation. The exemplary method further includes hosting the image classification model by the image analysis engine.
