Abstract

The present invention relates to a hot-work die steel, a heat treatment method therefor, and a hot-work die. Specifically, the present invention discloses a hot-work die steel having an alloying composition, in weight percent, of 2% to 8% Cu, 0.8% to 6% Ni, with Ni:Cu≧0.4, 0% to 0.2% C, 0% to 3% Mo, 0% to 3% W, 0% to 0.2% Nb, 0% to 0.8% Mn, 0% to 1% Cr, with the balance being Fe and other alloying elements and impurities. The present invention also discloses a heat treatment method for the hot-work die steel. The present invention further discloses a hot-work die formed from the hot-work die steel heat-treated according to the heat treatment method.
