Biosynthesis of Sliver Nanoparticles from Seabuckthorn Leaves Aqueous Extracts

Abstract

The invention relates to a process for biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles from Seabuckthorn leaves. The leaves of Seabuckthorn have a tremendous source of many important phytochemicals. The healthy and mature leaves were collected, dried, grind and boil with distilled water and filtered. The filtrate was reacted with a 1mM AgNO3 solution under optimized condition. The reacted solution after cooling was dried in vacuum dry oven at 50°C.
