Abstract
Self-cleaning wooden rainwater drainage for forest roads to divert water from the forest road back into the forest landscape. The gapless placement of spruce half-logs (1) into the compacted soil (8) ensures good water drainage and at the same time cleans the culvert. The fixation of the self-cleaning wooden rainwater drainage using comb-shaped concrete steel (6) terminated with a safety head (7) is designed to prevent damage to the tires of forestry equipment that uses the forest roads. During the rainy season, the self-cleaning wooden rainwater drainage divert water back into the forest landscape, preferably into seepage ponds, thereby helping the ecosystem. The distance between the culverts and their number are determined separately for each forest road, which guarantees proper functioning and eliminates destruction of the forest roads.
