Washable (reusable) menstrual / hygienic pad

Abstract

The present invention relates to a washable (reusable) menstrual / hygienic pad intended to be worn during menstruation to absorb menstrual flow while ensuring comfort and protection against leaks. The pad is composed of several functional layers: a soft and breathable inner layer of cotton, two absorbent inner layers, a waterproof bottom layer, and an outer cotton layer to prevent irritation. The pad's structure is designed to be attached to underwear using wings with snap fasteners. The materials used include natural fibers (cotton) for the layers in contact with the skin and synthetic fibers (polyester) for the absorbent and waterproof layers. The technical features of this invention include: • a double absorbent layer to optimize the retention of menstrual flow while preventing feelings of dampness. • A fastening system with snap buttons ensures a secure fit without risk of shifting. • A washable design offers high durability after multiple wash cycles, lasting up to four years of use, thus reducing waste generated by disposable menstrual products. This invention aims to provide a hygienic, durable, economical, and environmentally friendly solution for menstrual management.
