Olive washer

Abstract

The olive washer is an olive cleaning machine used in the olive oil industry. This machine is composed of several components: a receiving hopper equipped with a roller system to ensure the dry cleaning of the olives. This is the advantage of our machine; it contains approximately 10 to 20 tube rollers with a diameter between 40 and 80 mm and a length of approximately 800 to 1000 mm, and a ventilation system equipped with an axial air turbine which increases the flow rate (19000 m^3 / hour). This avoids the problem of olive unblocking that exists in the other model. In addition, among the necessary components of the olive washer are the screw conveyor for washing the olives with water, the vibrating plate which ensures drying and removes any remaining impurities. This plate is made of perforated stainless steel sheet, as is the food-grade conveyor belt for removing waste. Finally, a POMC roller system removes the olives and eliminates any olive branches. Finally, the water tank, with a capacity between 3,000 and 10,000 liters, has a cylindrical screw at its base to remove the sludge. In conclusion, our machine ensures efficient and optimal cleaning of the olives.
