Description

[0001] A VENTILATED DEVICE / ENCLOSING FOR EASY CIRCULATION OF VARIOUS INHIBITORS

[0002] FIELD OF INVENTION:

[0003]

[0001] The present application relates to a device with openings on edges that are Operating surfaces.

[0004] BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:

[0005]

[0002] Daily life near coastal and humid tropical area is affected by many problems majority of which affecting health and household material is Mold, Mildew, fungus and bacteria generated from it. Another major problem is corrosion affecting metals.

[0006]

[0003] Mold and mildew are very common in buildings and homes. Mold and mildew will grow in places with a lot of moisture, such as around leaks in roofs, windows, or pipes, or where there has been flooding. Mold and mildew grow well on paper products, cardboard, ceiling tiles, and wood products. Mold and mildew can also grow in dust, paints, wallpaper, insulation, drywall, carpet, fabric, and upholstery.

[0007]

[0004] Mold and mildew are found both indoors and outdoors. These can enter home through open doorways, windows, vents, and heating and air conditioning systems. Mold in the air outside can also attach itself to clothing, shoes, and pets can and be carried indoors. When mold spores drop on places where there is excessive moisture, such as where leakage may have occurred in roofs, pipes, walls, plant pots, or where there has been flooding, or near coastal or tropical areas, they will grow. Many building materials provide suitable nutrients that encourage Mold and mildew to grow. Wet cellulose materials, including paper and paper products, cardboard, ceiling tiles, wood, and wood products, are particularly conducive for the growth of some molds. Other materials such as dust, paints, wallpaper, insulation materials, drywall, carpet, fabric, and upholstery, commonly support mold growth.

[0008]

[0005] Mold and fungus also enter through spoilage of foods in house or even refrigeration if kept for longer period of days. Tomatoes, apples, cucumbers and many other fruits and vegetables are susceptible to mold and fungus growth if not consumed in short time. Mold or fungus grows on these fruits and vegetables could spoil other products in refrigerators and cause savior health issues once these other products are consumed.

[0009]

[0006] Exposure to damp and moldy environments may cause a variety of health effects, or none at all. Some people are sensitive to molds. For these people, exposure to molds can lead to symptoms such as stuffy nose, wheezing, and red or itchy eyes, or skin. Some people, such as those with allergies to molds or with asthma, may have more intense reactions. Severe reactions may occur among workers exposed to large amounts of molds in occupational settings, such as farmers working around moldy hay. Severe reactions may include fever and shortness of breath.

[0010]

[0007] There are many sprayable products available in markets which are mostly used to kill and remove the mold and its stain. These are based on corrosive and toxic chemicals to kill the mold. There are also some products to be sprayed to prevent growth of mold. These products have to be applied to each and every surface to be protected. Some surfaces are not applicable like cloth and most of the surfaces may not even be reachable which can ultimately result in mold growth.

[0011]

[0008] There is a need of a product which is non-toxic, non-corrosive, environmentally friendly and human safe. A product which could also reach each and every corner and provides protection for years once applied.

[0012]

[0009] The other major problem in daily life near coastal and humid tropical environment is corrosion. For corrosion related problem in house and in daily life and places like bathrooms, boats, geyser units, kitchen and similar places; where rust preventive coatings cannot be applied, volatile or vapor phase corrosion inhibitors will provide a longer period of protection without reapplication of rust preventives. These corrosion inhibitors for industrial application are kept in some kind of packaging or small plastic container (round or rectangular) with small holes or openings. Mostly, based on chemistry the chemicals inside the packaging are volatile in nature by itself so it is easy for chemistry to come out of box through any geometry or size of opening for corrosion protection of enclosed environment. But in case of chemistries or chemicals which are not volatile in nature, humid air acts as a source of carrier to carry the chemicals out of the container. Such system is defined as Vapor phase corrosion system VpCI and not Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor VCI. In this case it becomes very important that air flows easily inside the device or container to carry out the chemicals with it. So far, such conventional containers are designed with openings only on front which is not an ideal design for air circulation or any other form of opening is not well thought from the point of easy of air circulation or contact with chemicals inside. Additionally, in all of the Volatile and Vapor phase corrosion enclosing, corrosion inhibitors are placed inside some another breathable packaging like Tyvek material or inside foams or in form of foam itself.

[0013] SUMMARY

[0014]

[0010] The invention discloses a container which has openings designed for cross ventilation makes it easier for air to carry non-volatile inhibitor outside the container and spread it into the environment to be protected against Mold, Mildew, Corrosion, etc. Additionally, not packing the chemicals in packaging materials like Tyvek bags or foams will make it easier for air to come in direct contact and carry the chemicals easily with it. The invention to address the mentioned problems further mentions the use of the chemicals to be used as inhibitor in the device without any other packaging material, powdered form chemicals would be compressed in tablet or similar forms.

[0015] [Oi l] The disclosed exemplary embodiments provide a device in which openings are provided on front edges covering all side faces and front face.
