Abstract
The present invention relates to a pest repellent composition which not only exhibits an excellent repellent effect consistently from the time of application to the skin to the time after contact with moisture, but also has excellent removability by washing while providing good feeling of use. Specifically, the present invention provides a pest repellent composition which contains the following components (A)-(D): (A) 13 mass% to 39 mass% inclusive of one or more non-volatile liquid oils that are selected from among silicone oils, ester oils, ether oils, hydrocarbon oils, aliphatic alcohols, and polyhydric alcohols; (B) one or more hydrophobic film-forming agents that are selected from among silicone-based film-forming polymers and oil gelling agents; (C) a water-soluble thickening agent; and (D) water.
