Abstract

Newness and distinctiveness reside in the features of shape and configuration of the steering wheel mounting assembly as illustrated in the accompanying representations, including: the dual-orientation mounting capability allowing an aluminium extrusion to be positioned in vertical and horizontal configurations; the configuration of opposing angled mounting plates with elongated slots; the compact integration of the extrusion interface with the mounting plates; the overall geometric relationship between components forming a rigid adjustable structure.
