Description
1 / 29 “IMPROVEMENT IN THE OPENING MECHANISM FROM THE INSIDE OF MOTOR VEHICLE DOORS AND ITS ASSEMBLY PROCEDURE TERMINOLOGY
[001] For the purpose of better understanding the subject matter disclosed and claimed in this patent of invention, the meaning of some terms and acronyms frequently cited in the body of the descriptive report is presented, where:
[002] - Motor vehicle: any self-propelled motor vehicle that moves by its own means, and that serves the road transport of people and goods, or for the road traction of vehicles used for the transport of people and goods (www.anfavea.com.br / documentos / capitulo6seguranca.pdf).
[003] - Lock: provides the necessary mechanisms to enable the opening and closing of doors, in order to provide entry and exit from the vehicle. This system is expected to provide a locking feature to prevent unauthorized entry into the vehicle. It is also responsible for retaining the door against the body in the event of an impact, as well as devices that indicate if the doors are open. They may have electric actuators for greater comfort and convenience, (Source: DE SOUZA, Alexandre Santos; Roque, Júlio Cesar; DE AQUINO Rutson; Alves, “STUDY OF THE IMPACT OF VEHICLE COMPONENTS ON THE CLOSING EFFORT OF AUTOMOTIVE DOORS);
[004] - Conventional interior door handle: used by the driver and / or passengers of the motor vehicle when they are inside, and its function is to operate the vehicle door lock, notably Petition 870250070600, dated 11 / 08 / 2025, page 5 / 39 2 / 29 to unlock it, allowing the door (or even the tailgate) to be opened; (Source: DE SOUZA, Alexandre Santos; Roque, Júlio Cesar; DE AQUINO Rutson; Alves, “STUDY OF THE IMPACT OF VEHICLE COMPONENTS ON THE CLOSING EFFORT OF AUTOMOTIVE DOORS);
[005] - Conventional external door handle: used by the driver and / or passengers of the motor vehicle when these actors are in a position outside the vehicle, and its function is to provide the activation of the vehicle door lock, notably to unlock it, allowing the door (or even the tailgate) to be opened, (Source: DE SOUZA, Alexandre Santos; Roque, Júlio Cesar; DE AQUINO Rutson; Alves, “STUDY OF THE IMPACT OF VEHICLE COMPONENTS ON THE CLOSING EFFORT OF AUTOMOTIVE DOORS);
[006] - Production ergonomics: is the science that studies the adaptations of work so that employees can carry out activities in a safe and efficient manner (ITIRO IIDA cap11_2a Ed PDF (edisciplinas.usp.br);
[007] - Machine element: is the unitary organ that, together with other components, forms the elementary parts of a machine or mechanism. Every mechanism or machine is composed of an indefinite number of items, this number being greater or lesser depending on the complexity of the design. Equipment may have embedded machine elements from both a static and a dynamic system. (https: / / www.abecom.com.br / elementos-de-maquinas);
[008] - Static machine elements: are formed by machine elements devoid of motion kinematics, where for the purposes of the present invention by way of example, but Petition 870250070600, dated 11 / 08 / 2025, page 6 / 39 3 / 29, not limiting, is defined as dynamic machine elements such as support parts, shaft and spacer;
[009] - Dynamic machine elements: are formed by machine elements provided with motion kinematics, such as, for the purposes of the present invention, by way of example but not limitation, conventional door handle and spring parts are defined as dynamic machine elements;
[010] - ISO: acronym in the vernacular English language for “International Organization for Standardization”, which can be translated into the vernacular Portuguese language as “Organização Internacional de Normalização”, being an entity that brings together the standardization / normalization bodies of 162 countries (Source: https: / / pt.wikipedia.org / wiki / Organiza%C3%A7%C3%A3o_Internacional_de_Normaliza%C3%A7%C3%A3o);
[011] - Non-conformity: “[...], when a procedure generates a result different from what was planned, the expectation is also not met. Even if no formal rule has been infringed, indicating that the rules of the process in question may need to be reviewed. A Non-Conformity can range from a product defect, a delivery delay, a customer complaint, reduced productivity,... “ (Source: https: / / nao-con-formidade.portaliso.com / o-que-e-nao-conformidade / );
[012] - Maintenance: “[...] can be defined as a set of procedures performed periodically on systems, machines and equipment”. (Source: https: / / blog.enge-man.com.br / tipos-de-manutencao / );
[013] - Corrective maintenance: among the best-known types of maintenance, corrective maintenance deserves special mention and relevance for this patent, that is, maintenance where a random failure is corrected in which there is no Petition 870250070600, dated 11 / 08 / 2025, page 7 / 39 4 / 29 Time for scheduling and preparing the repair service to be performed. This is represented by repairs to breakdowns that keep machines out of operation. (Source: https: / / blog.enge-man.com.br / tipos-de-manutencao / #o-que-ea-manutencao-corre-tiva);
[014] - Technological basis: can be understood as a common base of component parts that make up the assembly formed by the door opening mechanisms, both on the outside and on the inside, this in turn being the focus of the studies to understand the state of the art for the present invention patent;
[015] - Cascade effect: can be understood as “[...] A chain of events in which the effect of one is the cause of the effect of another, so that all events in this chain are interconnected by a cause-and-effect relationship.” (Source: https: / / www.dicio.com.br / efeito-cascata / );
[016] - Man of the trade: according to the understanding of the treatise writers CHAVANNE, Albert & BURST, Jean-Jacques, in their work Droit de La Propriété Industrielle. Paris: Dalloz, 1993, pp. 53-55, in a referential way, it is the technician in the subject who possesses normal and intermediate knowledge of the technique that is the object of the patent, which for the purposes of the present invention is the professional specialist in automotive projects, notably in the design of door handle assemblies, more specifically door handles located on the inside of motor vehicle doors; and
[017] - IPC: acronym for International Patent Classification in English, which in Portuguese is translated as International Patent Classification.

[060] In accordance with the invention requirements, the applicant conceived the “improvement in the opening mechanism (A) from the inside of the door (Po) of motor vehicles (Ve) and its assembly procedure” provided with novelty associated with inventive activity, since it does not arise in an obvious way or Petition 870250070600, dated 11 / 08 / 2025, page 15 / 39 12 / 29 evident from other techniques anticipated by the state of the art, conferring advantages from an industrial, technical and commercial point of view, as will be demonstrated in a subsequent topic of this document.
[061] In addition, the invention has industrial application, is economically viable and therefore meets the strict requirements for patentability, notably as an invention patent, as it has combined industrial application, novelty and inventive activity. FUNDAMENTALS OF THE TECHNIQUE
[062] In order to provide veracity and consolidate the context explained in the preceding topics of this document, an exhaustive explanation will be presented on the state of the art for conventional internal opening mechanisms (Et) of doors (Po) of motor vehicles (Ve), as illustrated in figures .2a to .2d, where after critical analysis of these, once evaluated by professionals, their limiting aspects were identified, thus consolidating the identification of the set of demands previously listed.
[063] a. State of the art for motor vehicle door opening mechanisms
[064] A study in a Brazilian patent database reveals that there are numerous solutions applied to the opening mechanism from the inside of the doors of motor vehicles, among which the following are cited by name:
[065] - Document .1 Brazilian Patent identified by no. PI 0201516-1, published on 01 / 13 / 2004, entitled AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLE INTERNAL DOOR HANDLE ACTUATING SYSTEM, where Petition 870250070600, dated 11 / 08 / 2025, page 16 / 39 13 / 29 describes a conventional interior door handle actuation system for a motor vehicle, consisting of a basic receiving piece housing a pivoting piece coupled to an actuation lever that activates a release latch or handle;
[066] - Document .2 Brazilian Patent identified by n. PI 0203979-6, published on 10 / 08 / 2004, entitled “ACTIVATION MECHANISM FOR THE INTERNAL DOOR HANDLE OF A MOTOR VEHICLE”, which describes a mechanism comprising an actuation shaft, a lever, an actuator, a tie rod, a conventional tie rod support, a button, a cover and a return spring for the actuation shaft;
[067] - Document .3 Brazilian Patent identified by In patent application PI 0805277-8, published on 08 / 09 / 2010, entitled "INVERTED LOCK APPLIED TO THE FIXING OF THE STRUCTURAL COLUMN OF A DOOR HANDLE TO THE INTERNAL PART OF MOTOR VEHICLE DOORS", a mechanism is described that comprises a door handle mounting system that incorporates the maximum number of standard, universal component parts, meaning that the same conventional door handle mounting kit can be used on any model of motor vehicle. These qualities are translated by the design of a novel inverted locking mechanism to the mounting tower from bottom to top. To ensure the stability and permanent fixation of this inverted locking mechanism, one of its rods has a secondary rod that, once passed through one of the fixing slots, permanently interferes with its upper part.
[068] - Document .4 Brazilian Patent Application Petition 870250070600, dated 11 / 08 / 2025, page 17 / 39 14 / 29 identified by number BR 10 2014 013262 7, published on 11 / 17 / 2015, entitled "INTERNAL DOOR HANDLE AND LATCH AND INTERNAL DOOR HANDLE ASSEMBLIES", where an internal door handle assembly for a vehicle door is described, consisting of a housing, a handle, a locking button and a connecting lever; and
[069] - Document .5 Brazilian Patent Application identified by no. BR 20 2021 013473 4, published on 01 / 17 / 2023, entitled AUTOMATIC SWITCH FOR INTERNAL OPENING OF EACH VEHICLE DOOR (CURRENT DOOR HANDLE)”, reveals a door opening lever, located on the side panel of each door, an activation button connected to the vehicle's door locking electrical network.
[070] In addition, international patent documents may be cited, such as:
[071] - Document .5 US Patent 2002 / 008389, published on 01 / 24 / 2002 entitled “Door handle device for a vehicle”;
[072] - Document .6 Japanese patent JPH067196Y2, published on 23 / 02 / 1994 entitled “Internal door handle device”;
[073] - Document .7 Japanese patent JP2012112177A, published on 06 / 14 / 2012 entitled "Interior door handle for vehicle".
[074] As can be seen from the list of documents listed as belonging to the state of the art, whether Brazilian or international, they all have a common technological basis consisting of handle components, support, lock between these parts and helical spring.
[075] b. Invention development paradigm
[076] b.1 Initial comment Petition 870250070600, dated 11 / 08 / 2025, page 18 / 39 15 / 29
[077] For the purposes of the present invention, the descriptive detail is limited to the assembly and handling module of the door handle, and the description of the constructive concept of the lock mechanism itself is not considered, and consequently the assembly procedure for this lock will also be omitted as these are not part of the scope of the invention, and therefore, their descriptions do not contribute to the understanding of the problem to be solved.
[078] b.2 Conventional constructive concept of the opening mechanism from the inside of the door of motor vehicles
[079] In view of what has been identified in the study of the state of the art, it is possible to assume that there is a standard model for the opening mechanism of motor vehicle doors, in particular the models of internal door opening mechanisms (Et) defined in this description as “conventional mechanism model and which is represented in its constructivity by figures .2a and .2d of this argument, whose constructivity is determined by four components, described as follows:
[080] - Conventional door handle part (Et1): its main function is to provide the opening of the doors (Po) of the motor vehicle (Ve), specifically by an individual positioned inside, by applying support with one hand to this part and then applying a force perpendicular to its center of gravity, in the direction of moving it away from the conventional support part (Et2), resulting in an outward angular movement, until the door lock (not referenced) is unlocked, for which it is formed by a monolithic body (Et11), provided with a fixing area (Et12) for fitting the helical spring part. Petition 870250070600, dated 11 / 08 / 2025, page 19 / 39 16 / 29 (Et3) and protrusions with openings (Et13) for mounting together with conventional support piece (Et2) by aligning protrusions with openings (Et13) with the respective protrusions with openings (Et23) of the conventional support piece (Et2), defining an orthogonal arm (Et14);
[081] - Conventional support piece (Et2): this is a monobloc piece that has a body or chassis (Et21) with the first function of providing fixation of the internal opening mechanism (Et) on the inside of the door (lining), see figure .1b, the second function of providing support for the lock (not referenced), a third function of providing assembly and fixation of the helical spring piece (Et3), and finally a fourth function of providing assembly of the conventional handle piece (Et1), through the alignment of the protrusions with opening (Et22) in relation to the protrusions with openings (Et13) of the conventional handle piece (Et1);
[082] - Helical spring component (Et3): with the function of providing return of the conventional door handle component (Et1) to its rest position, i.e., without application of force for angular movement; and
[083] - Conventional locking piece (Et4): formed by a body (Et41), preferably metallic, a segment of linear geometry and circular cross-section, with the function of providing the consolidation of the union / assembly between the conventional handle pieces (Et1) and conventional support (Et2), mounted in a passing manner through the openings of the protrusions with (Et13) and (Et23). [084 ] b.3 Of the procedure for assembling the conventional mechanism for opening from the inside of the door of motor vehicles Petition 870250070600, dated 11 / 08 / 2025, page 20 / 39 17 / 29
[085] This procedure is identified by the through-mounting of the conventional locking piece (Et4) through the openings of the protrusions with (Et13) and (Et23) of the conventional handle pieces (Et1) and conventional support (Et2) in pre-assembly properly aligned, ensuring an assembly that allows angular movement between the referenced pieces, see figures .3a and .3b.
[086] c. Identification of problems and / or restrictions
[087] Although the standard model of the opening mechanism from the inside (Et) of the motor vehicle door (Po) described herein fulfills its objective of providing the opening of the door (Po) from inside the vehicle (Ve), its constructive concept reveals a plurality of restrictive / negative aspects, as we shall see.
[088] c.1 From an industrial point of view
[089] - Productivity impairment (on the factory floor) in the assembly of conventional internal opening mechanisms (Et) for doors (Po), where a bottleneck lies in the necessary procedure for crimping the conventional locking piece (Et4) to obtain the necessary interference and retention in the conventional support piece (Et2);
[090] - Lack of ergonomics in the assembly of conventional internal opening mechanisms (Et) for doors (Po), as the assembly and crimping of the conventional locking piece (Et4) passing through the aligned protrusions with openings (Et13) and (Et23) of the conventional handle pieces (Et1) and conventional support (Et2) is carried out in a forced manner, i.e., due to the pressure required for its assembly and the need for it to be in the correct position to obtain free angular movement of the conventional handle (Et1);
[091] In this context, the lack of ergonomics is exacerbated. Petition 870250070600, dated 11 / 08 / 2025, page 21 / 39 18 / 29 due to the difficulty of keeping the protrusions aligned with the openings (Et13) and (Et23) of the conventional handle piece (Et1) and conventional support piece (Et2) before the locking of the locking pieces (Et4) because it is a manual procedure, with exclusive support by the worker's hands; and
[092] - High occurrence of non-conformity during the assembly of conventional internal opening mechanisms (Et) of doors (Po) resulting from the compromise of the opening protrusions (Et13) and (Et23) of the conventional handle piece (Et1) and conventional support piece (Et2) respectively, for example due to fatigue at these points of union of the protrusions with their respective structural bodies (Et11) and (Et21), resulting from the stress applied in this region to obtain the crimping of the conventional locking piece (Et4).
[093] c.2 From the point of view of the attributes of the conventional internal opening mechanism product (Et)
[094] - Compromised operational reliability, as the conventional handle (Et1) and conventional support (Et2) work with constant interference in the connection region, i.e., in the assembly formed by the protrusions with opening (Et13) and (Et23) and conventional locking piece (Et4);
[095] - Compromised durability of the mechanism (Et) as a direct consequence of the tensioning condition of the assembly formed by the protrusions with opening (Et13) and (Et23) and conventional locking piece (Et4); and
[096] - Need for (maintenance) replacement of conventional internal opening mechanisms (Et) of doors (Po) due to fatigue caused by tensioning of the protrusions with aligned openings (Et13) and (Et23) of the conventional handle (Et1) and conventional support (Et2) during the process of Petition 870250070600, dated 11 / 08 / 2025, page 22 / 39 19 / 29 factory assembly and not noticeable.
[097] c.3 From an economic point of view
[098] - High effective industrial cost resulting from occurrences of a high percentage of non-conformities in conventional internal opening mechanisms (Et) of doors (Po) produced, a percentage that deviates from the basic principles of quality assurance discipline, especially when seeking "Zero Error," a globally recognized standard in the automotive industry; and
[099] - High input cost, resulting from the conventional locking part (Et4) being made of metal.
[100] d. Regarding the cause of the problems listed
[101] As can be seen from the list of problems identified in the conventional internal opening mechanisms (Et) of motor vehicle doors (Po) (Ve), whether from an industrial, product and economic point of view, these occur as in a cascading effect, from a single preponderant cause, which is translated into the concept of coupling and fixing between the conventional handle piece (Et1) and the conventional support piece (Et2), which is obtained by joining the set of aligned opening protrusions (Et13) and (Et23) and mounting by crimping the conventional lock piece (Et4). INVENTION PROPOSAL
[102] a. Objective
[103] It is an objective of the present invention to solve the cause of the problems and limitations listed for the technology and respective production process of conventional internal opening mechanisms (Et) of vehicle doors (Po) (Ve). Petition 870250070600, dated 11 / 08 / 2025, page 23 / 39 20 / 29
[104] In a cross-referenced way, by eliminating the cause of the problems, these problems cease to exist, resulting in significant gains from an industrial, product and economic point of view.
[105] In this context, the development paradigm of the invention is defined as providing the automotive industry, notably motor vehicle manufacturers and also the automotive replacement parts market, with an improved mechanism for opening from the inside (A) of the door (Po) of motor vehicles (Ve), this improvement being related to the concept of fitting and fixing between the improved handle piece (10) and the improved support piece (2), which makes feasible the range of needs listed in the topic “INVENTION DEMAND”, defined at the beginning of this descriptive report.
[106] b. Distinctive feature
[107] To make the objectives of the invention feasible, an improvement was conceived in the opening mechanism on the inside (A) of the door (Po) of motor vehicles (Ve), wherein the improved handle (10) and improved support (2) have a common “click” type fitting and locking system, wherein female fittings are conceived for the improved handle (10), in the form of openings or housings and male fittings are conceived for the improved support (20), in the form of protrusions, in such a way that a small interference force between both fittings ensures the locking between the parts, without however limiting the free angular movement of the improved handle (10) in relation to the improved support (20), when the opening mechanism assembly on the inside (A) is mounted on the inside of the door (Po) of the motor vehicle (Ve). Petition 870250070600, dated 11 / 08 / 2025, page 24 / 39 21 / 29
[108] c. Technical, industrial and economic effects obtained
[109] c.1 In light of the improved internal opening mechanism assembly (A)
[110] - eliminates the need for forced assembly of conventional handle parts (Et1) and conventional support (Et2) by forced crimping instead of using conventional beam parts (Et4), allowing for faster assembly on the factory floor and mitigating the occurrence of non-conformities in assembled sets.
[111] c.2 In light of the product internal opening mechanism (A)
[112] - the elimination of the protrusion elements with openings (Et13) and (Et23) from the aforementioned conventional handle (Et1) and conventional support (Et2) allows the new improved handle (10) and improved support (20) to have a constructive concept free from regions of fragility in these parts, due to material fatigue, for example, since there are no longer any tensioned regions between the parts.
[113] c.3 In light of economics (industrial cost of the product)
[114] - the improved locking piece (30), also called the “spacer piece”, is made of thermoplastic material, instead of the metallic material from which the conventional locking piece (Et4) is made, resulting in a clear reduction in the industrial cost of this component piece. DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[115] The following detailed description should be read and interpreted with reference to the drawings now presented, representing a preferred embodiment for the Petition 870250070600, dated 11 / 08 / 2025, page 25 / 39 22 / 29 Improvement in the opening mechanism from the inside (A) of the door (Po) of motor vehicles (Ve) and assembly procedure of the assembly, not being intended to limit the scope of the invention, which is limited only to what is explicitly stated in the claims.
[116] In this context, the detailed description will be presented with emphasis on the constructive elements of the component parts that effectively represent the distinctive characteristic of the idealized improvement.
[117] a. Constructive concept of the improved mechanism (A)
[118] As evidenced in figures .4a to .4h, an improvement in the opening mechanism on the inside (A) of the door (Po) of motor vehicles (Ve) was conceived, whose composition and respective differentiated constructive concept are described in detail below:
[119] a.1 Improved door handle (10):
[120] a.1.1 Technological basis (anticipated by the state of the art)
[121] It is a part, preferably a monobloc part made of polymeric material, specifically a thermoplastic, with a primary function identical to that known for the conventional door handle (Et1), that is, to provide the opening of the doors (Po) of the motor vehicle (Ve), specifically by an individual positioned inside, by applying support with one hand to this part and subsequently applying a force perpendicular to its center of gravity, in the direction of moving it away from the improved support part (20) resulting in an outward angular movement (Θ), until the door lock is unlocked (not Petition 870250070600, dated 11 / 08 / 2025, page 26 / 39 23 / 29 referenced).
[122] To perform this primary function, the improved handle (10) has the same technological basis as the conventional handle (Et1), that is, it is formed by a monolithic body (10a), whose internal part has a defined housing (11) where the helical spring (30) is mounted, and in the lower part of this housing (11) there is a rod (10c) that extends perpendicularly to the body (10a), see figures .4d and .4k.
[123] a.1.2 Distinctive feature
[124] The improved handle (10) has a defined opening (10b) on the body (10a) with the function of providing a fitting for the protrusion (20c) defined at the free end of the lower arm (20b) defined inside the body (20a) of the improved support piece (20), see figure .4k and detail .1.
[125] Already on the inner upper wall of this body (10a) a cap (10d) is defined with the function of providing housing and stable locking of the locking protrusion (20e) defined in the median front part of the body (20a) of the improved support piece (20, see figure .4k and detail .2.
[126] a.2 Improved support (20):
[127] a.2.1 Technological basis (anticipated by the state of the art)
[128] It is a preferably monobloc piece, made of polymeric material, specifically a thermoplastic, with a primary function identical to that known for the conventional support (Et2), that is, to provide support to the improved handle piece (10) and a secondary function of providing coupling on the inside of the door (Po) of the motor vehicle (Ve).
[129] To perform this primary function, the support Petition 870250070600, dated 11 / 08 / 2025, page 27 / 39 24 / 29 improved (20) has the same technological basis, that is, it is formed by a monolithic body (20a), with a peripheral profile (20e) that provides a finishing frame to the internal opening mechanism assembly (A) for mounting together with the internal part (lining) of the door (Po).
[130] a.2.2 Distinctive feature
[131] In turn, on the front part of the body (20a), a large opening (20f) is defined, the lower part of which has a lower arm (20b) whose end supports a fitting protrusion (20c), with the function of coupling to the opening (10b) defined in the body (10a) of the improved handle piece (10), see figure .4k and detail .1
[132] Still on the front part of the body (20a), but on the upper part, an arm (2d) is defined whose free end has a locking protrusion (20e) that engages with and is fixed in the cap (10d) of the body (10a) of the improved handle (10), see figures .4b and .4k and detail .2.
[133] In the posterior part of the body (20a), see figures .4c and .4d, a drawer (20g) is defined in the upper median portion, with the function of receiving the posterior portion of the improved locking piece (40), see figures .4c and .4d.
[134] Still on the back of the improved support piece (20), in the upper portion of this drawer (20g) an inviting protrusion (20h) is defined with the function of providing a displacement guide for the locking protrusions (40d) of the improved locking piece (40), and after this inviting protrusion (20h) the cap (20i) is defined with the function of providing fitting and locking of the locking protrusions (40d), see figure .4k and detail .3.
[135] In this support, the front part of the drawer (20g) accommodates Petition 870250070600, dated 11 / 08 / 2025, pp. 28 / 39 25 / 29 the fitting element (40e) stabilizing the assembly between the improved support parts (20) and improved lock.
[136] Next, still on the back part, this time on the lower portion of the improved support (20), a side wall (20i) is defined to which the side (40i) of the improved lock (40) is fitted in a solid manner, see figures .4c and .4h.
[137] a.3 Helical spring (30):
[138] a.3.1 Technological basis (anticipated by the state of the art)
[139] This is a component that is fully anticipated by the state of the art, with the function of providing return of the improved handle piece (10) to the closed state of the internal opening mechanism assembly (A) when it ceases to receive push action from the individual's hand, being composed of a helical body (30a) that is mounted on the fitting protrusion (20c) and has two terminal rods (30b) and (30c), the terminal rods (30b) and (30c) being positioned in interference with the improved handle (10) and the improved base (20).With this configuration, when describing angular movement (Θ), the improved handle (10) promotes the displacement of the terminal rod (30c) while the terminal rod (30b) remains static, and finally the helical body (30a) is tensioned, so that at the end of the application of the thrust force by the individual's hand, the energy stored in the body of the helical spring (30a) causes the release of this energy and the helical body (30a) is detensioned, causing the improved handle (10) to return to its original position.
[140] a.3.2 Distinctive feature
[141] As highlighted in subtopic a.3.1, for the present Petition 870250070600, dated 11 / 08 / 2025, pp. 29 / 39 26 / 29 invention the helical spring part (30) does not add to itself any distinctive characteristic.
[142] a.4 Improved locking piece (40):
[143] a.4.1 Technological basis (anticipated by the state of the art)
[144] For the purposes of the present invention, this is a completely inventive constructive concept, bearing no similarity whatsoever to the conventional locking piece (Et4).
[145] a.4.3 Distinctive feature
[146] Also known as a spacer piece, made of polymeric material, specifically a thermoplastic, with a primary function identical to that known for the conventional beam (Et3), that is, mounting and fixing between the improved handle piece (10) and the improved support (20), providing a wide degree of freedom of angular movement (Θ) of the first piece in relation to the second piece, from an angular rotation axis formed by the mounting region of the helical spring (30).
[147] Its constructive concept consists of a monobloc body (40a) where a plateau (40b) is defined in its elevation part, with the function of providing fitting and fixing to the drawer (20g) of the improved support piece (20), and above this is defined a first protrusion (40c) followed by a thickness constriction (40b'), with the function of facilitating the movement of displacement of the front part (40b'), see figure .4d.
[148] In this front part (40b') a fitting structure (40e) is defined in its central portion with the function of providing fitting and stability on the rear edge of the drawer (21g), see figure .4d. Petition 870250070600, dated 11 / 08 / 2025, pages 30 / 39 27 / 29
[149] Also in this front part (40b') the locking protrusions (40d) are defined at the lateral ends, with the function of providing interaction with the respective caps (20i) of the improved support piece (20), see figure .4k and detail .3.
[150] In turn, from the rear end of this plateau (40b) a perpendicular wall (40f) is defined with sides (40i) which has the function of providing a fitting with the caps (20i) of the body (20a) of the improved support piece (20).
[151] b. Assembly of the improved mechanism (A)
[152] As can be seen from the subtopic on the inventive constructive concept, the component parts improved handle (10), improved support (20) and improved lock (40) are distinctive, not only in form, but essentially in light of the functions they add, either individually or together (synergy) between the distinctive parts of the improved mechanism (A).
[153] In this context, the assembly procedure between the component parts is considered distinctive, and follows the following sequential steps:
[154] - Step 1 In the improved mechanism production cell (A), the following parts are made available to the operator: improved handle (10), improved support (20), helical spring (30) and improved lock (40), as illustrated in figures .4b and .4d;
[155] - Step 2 Assembly of the helical spring (30) in the improved handle part (10), where the operator manipulates the helical spring part (30) placing it in the housing (11) defined in the inner part of the body (10a) of the improved handle (10). As illustrated in figure .5a;
[156] - Step 3 Coupling and securing between the parts Petition 870250070600, dated 11 / 08 / 2025, pages 31 / 39 28 / 29 improved handle (10) and improved support (20), where the worker proceeds to couple the protrusions (20c) / (20e) together with the housing (10b) and cap (10d), simultaneously, see figure .5b and details 1 and 2;
[157] - Step 4 Coupling and fixing of the improved locking piece (40) to the improved support (20), where the operator manipulates the improved locking piece (40) aligning the platen sector (40b) with the drawer (20g) of the improved support (20), where with the progressive approach the first iteration of the locking protrusion (40e) with the rear edge of the drawer (21g) occurs, stabilizing the interaction between the pieces, then, with the continued progressive movement of the improved locking piece (40) a second and final iteration occurs, this time of the locking protrusions (40d) with the inviting protrusion (20h) which once these locking protrusions (40d) are overcome they meet the cap (20i), consolidating its locking, see figures .4d, .4k and .5c and detail .3.
[158] The choice of the preferred embodiment of the invention claimed in this document, described in this detailed section, is provided only by way of example. Alterations, modifications and variations may be made to any other embodiments of the improved mechanism (A), alterations which may be devised by those skilled in the art without, however, departing from the object disclosed in the application of this patent, which is exclusively defined by the appended claims. It is clear from what has been described and illustrated that the “IMPROVEMENT IN THE OPENING MECHANISM ON THE INSIDE OF THE DOOR OF MOTOR VEHICLES AND ITS ASSEMBLY PROCEDURE” now claimed complies with the rules governing the patent of Petition 870250070600, dated 11 / 08 / 2025, pages 32 / 39 29 / 29 invention in light of the Industrial Property Law, deserving, as a consequence of what has been stated, the respective privilege.
