[0047] Here, a battery pack according to some example embodiments will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0048] Figure 1 is an exploded perspective view of a battery pack according to an embodiment; Figure 2 yes Figure 1 An exploded perspective view of a portion of a battery pack shown in ; Figure 3 yes Figure 2 A perspective view of a battery cell shown in ; Figure 4 It is shown that there are Figure 2 a view of a cell area of a plurality of battery cells shown in; and Figure 5 It is shown Figure 1 A perspective view of a portion of a battery pack shown in ;

[0049] Reference Figure 2 The battery pack may include a plurality of battery cells 10, a battery holder (or battery retainer, battery support) 150 for providing an assembly position for assembling the plurality of battery cells 10 and structurally combining the plurality of battery cells 10, and a bus bar 160 for electrically connecting the plurality of battery cells 10.

[0050] Reference Figure 3 , the battery cell 10 may include an upper end 10a and a lower end 10b along the length direction of the battery cell 10, and may be provided as a round or cylindrical battery cell 10 including a cylindrical outer peripheral surface 10c between the upper end 10a and the lower end 10b. The battery cell 10 may be electrically connected through any one of the upper end 10a and the lower end 10b (e.g., through the upper end 10a), and for this purpose, a first electrode 11 and a second electrode 12 of different polarities may be formed at the upper end 10a of the battery cell 10. In this case, the first electrode 11 and the second electrode 12 may be formed at different regions of the upper end 10a of the battery cell 10; for example, the first electrode 11 may be formed at a central position of the upper end 10a, and the second electrode 12 may be formed at an edge position of the upper end 10a surrounding the first electrode 11. In an embodiment, an insulating gasket (not shown) may be positioned between the first electrode 11 and the second electrode 12 to prevent or substantially prevent a short circuit between the first electrode 11 and the second electrode 12. As Figure 5 As shown in , each battery cell 10 may be connected to the bus bar 160 by a first connection member 21, and the first electrode 11 and the second electrode 12 of the battery cell 10 may be respectively connected to different bus bars 160, i.e., the first bus bar 161 and the second bus bar 162, by the first connection member 21. In an embodiment, the first connection member 21 may be formed of a bonding wire, and the first electrode 11 and the second electrode 12 of the battery cell 10 and the bus bar 160 may be electrically connected to each other by wire bonding.

[0051] Reference Figure 4 , a group of battery cells 10 electrically connected to each other may form a unit area C. The unit area C may include a plurality of side portions S extending in a straight line to surround and contact the outer peripheral surface 10c of the group of battery cells 10. In this case, the unit area C may include a first long side portion S11, which is the longest among the plurality of side portions S, and a second long side portion S12 arranged to face the first long side portion S11. In an embodiment, the first long side portion S11 and the second long side portion S12 may have substantially the same length and may extend parallel to each other. Throughout this disclosure, the long side portion S1 of the unit area C may refer to any one of the first long side portion S11 and the second long side portion S12, or may refer to both the first long side portion S11 and the second long side portion S12.

[0052] exist Figure 2 In the embodiment shown in , the long side S1 of the cell area C may be formed in parallel at a position corresponding to the long side 150S1 of the battery holder 150. That is, the long side direction Z1 of the cell area C may refer to the same direction as the direction Z1 of the long side 150S1 of the battery holder 150, and here, the long side direction Z1 may refer to the long side direction Z1 of the cell area C or the direction Z1 of the long side 150S1 of the battery holder 150. In addition, the long side S1 of the cell area C and the long side 150S1 of the battery holder 150 may indicate positions corresponding to each other, and may indicate edge positions of the battery pack.

[0053] Reference Figure 2 The battery holder 150 may include a battery assembly portion 151 surrounding at least a portion of the outer peripheral surface 10c of the battery cell 10 to define an assembly position of the battery cell 10 and a terminal hole h formed in the battery assembly portion 151. In an embodiment, the battery cells 10 adjacent to each other on the outer peripheral surface 10c may be densely arranged to fit into the valley area between each other, and the battery assembly portion 151 of the battery cells 10 may also be densely arranged according to the dense arrangement of the battery cells 10. Figure 5 As shown in , the terminal hole h may expose at least a portion of the upper end portion 10a of the battery cell 10, and the first electrode 11 and the second electrode 12 exposed through the terminal hole h may be respectively connected to the first bus bar 161 and the second bus bar 162 through the first connection member 21. That is, the terminal hole h may expose the first electrode 11 at the center position and the second electrode 12 at the edge position at the upper end portion 10a of the battery cell 10, and the first electrode 11 and the second electrode 12 may be respectively connected to the first bus bar 161 and the second bus bar 162 through the first connection member 21.

[0054] Reference Figure 2The battery holder 150 may include an upper battery holder 150a and a lower battery holder 150b, the upper battery holder 150a surrounding an outer peripheral surface 10c of the battery cell 10 adjacent to the upper end 10a, and the lower battery holder 150b surrounding an outer peripheral surface 10c of the battery cell 10 adjacent to the lower end 10b. In addition, a portion of the outer peripheral surface 10c of the battery cell 10 may be exposed between the upper battery holder 150a and the lower battery holder 150b, and as described below, temperature information may be detected through the outer peripheral surface 10c of the battery cell 10 exposed between the upper battery holder 150a and the lower battery holder 150b. Referring to Figure 2 , the column member CL for maintaining a suitable distance between the upper battery seat 150a and the lower battery seat 150b along the height direction of the battery cell 10 so that the battery cell 10 is accommodated can be positioned between the upper battery seat 150a and the lower battery seat 150b. The column member CL can extend along the height direction of the battery cell 10, and can protrude from the one of the battery seats 150a and 150b toward the other of the battery seats 150a and 150b based on one of the battery seats 150a and 150b. For example, in an embodiment, the column member CL can protrude from the lower battery seat 150b toward the upper battery seat 150a along the height direction of the battery cell 10. In this way, in an embodiment, the column member CL can protrude from the lower battery seat 150b toward the upper battery seat 150a along the height direction of the battery cell 10, and the assembly position of the column member CL can be formed in the upper battery seat 150a. For example, a space for assembling the column member CL can be formed in the upper battery seat 150a at an assembly position corresponding to the column member CL. The column member CL may enhance the structural rigidity of the battery holders of the upper battery holder 150a and the lower battery holder 150b. In an embodiment, the column member CL may be formed at the lower battery holder 150b to enhance the structural rigidity of the lower battery holder 150b. A blank portion of the battery cell 10 not filled with the battery cell 10 may be formed at a position corresponding to the column member CL, and insufficient heat dissipation and heat concentration that may be caused by the plurality of battery cells 10 densely arranged adjacent to each other may be slightly alleviated by the blank portion of the battery cell 10 in the cell region C where the plurality of battery cells 10 are arranged.

[0055] The bus bar 160 and the flexible wire 180 electrically connected to the bus bar 160 may be sequentially arranged on the battery holder 150 (i.e., on the upper battery holder 150a), and the wire support 190 accommodating the flexible wire 180 may be arranged between the flexible wire 180 and the bus bar 160. In an embodiment, the bus bar 160 and the flexible wire 180 may be arranged on the upper battery holder 150a, and the bus bar 160 and the flexible wire 180 may be arranged at a position at least partially overlapping each other, or may be arranged at a position not overlapping each other. In an embodiment, when the bus bar 160 and the flexible wire 180 are arranged at a position overlapping each other, electrical interference may be prevented or substantially prevented due to the insulating wire support 190 positioned between the bus bar 160 and the flexible wire 180.

[0056] As described below, the second branch portion 182 of the flexible wire 180 can approach the outer peripheral surface 10c of the battery cell 10 exposed from the upper battery holder 150a by passing through the through hole 150' of the upper battery holder 150a. That is, the through hole 150' for passing the second branch portion 182 can be formed in the upper battery holder 150a. This will be described in more detail below.

[0057] In an embodiment, both the first electrode 11 and the second electrode 12 may be electrically connected through the upper end portion 10a of the battery cell 10, and the battery cell 10 may be cooled through the lower end portion 10b of the battery cell 10. Figure 1 As shown in , the lower end portion 10b of the battery cell 10 may be exposed from the lower battery holder 150b and cooled by the cooling plate 110, and the heat transfer medium 120 may be positioned between the lower end portion 10b of the battery cell 10 and the cooling plate 110. In an embodiment, the frame 130 may be arranged along the periphery of the battery holder 150 to which a plurality of battery cells 10 are assembled, and the frame 130 may protect the internal structure of the battery pack while surrounding the battery holder 150 and the cooling plate 110.

[0058] Figure 6 It is shown Figure 1 A view of the arrangement of the bus bars shown in ; Figure 7 It is shown Figure 6 a view of the arrangement of bus bars in an area; Figure 8 Is used to describe Figure 1 FIG. 1 is a view of the construction of the flexible wire shown in FIG. 1 , which also shows Figure 8 an enlarged view of area "A1" to area "A6"; Fig. 9 yes Figure 8 An exploded perspective view of the flexible wire and wire support shown in ; Fig.10 It is shown Fig. 9 A plan view of the flexible line; and Fig.11 It is along Fig. 9The sectional perspective view taken along line XI-XI is taken from the rotated perspective view for ease of understanding.

[0059] Reference Figure 6 , a bus bar 160 for electrically connecting a plurality of battery cells 10 may be arranged on the battery holder 150. The bus bar 160 may include a first bus bar 161 and a second bus bar 162 alternately arranged along the long side direction Z1 of the cell region C or the direction Z1 of the long side portion 150S1 of the battery holder 150. The first bus bar 161 and the second bus bar 162 may include a plurality of comb electrodes 161a and 162a assembled with each other or adjacent to each other in a comb shape. In order to form an electrical connection with any parallel module P1, P2, P3 or P4, the comb electrodes 161a of the first bus bar 161 and the comb electrodes 162a of the second bus bar 162 may protrude from different base portions 161b and 162b toward the corresponding parallel module P1, P2, P3 or P4, and the corresponding parallel module P1, P2, P3 or P4 is arranged between the different base portions 161b and 162b. Here, the first bus bar 161 and the second bus bar 162 may refer to different bus bars 160 alternately arranged along the long side direction Z1 of the unit region C, and may refer to different bus bars 160 assembled with each other in a comb shape to form an electrical connection with the corresponding parallel module P1, P2, P3 or P4. For example, because the first bus bar 161 and the second bus bar 162 are not classified according to structural differences, the first bus bar 161 may not need to have the same structure, or the second bus bar 162 may not need to have the same structure, and the first bus bar 161 and the second bus bar 162 may not need to have different structures.

[0060] In an embodiment, when the first bus bar 161 and the second bus bar 162, which are arranged alternately with each other, are assembled with each other, the second bus bar 162 (the comb electrodes 162a of the second bus bar 162) may be formed at the outermost position along the arrangement direction Z2 of the comb electrodes 161a and 162a, and the first bus bar 161 (the comb electrodes 161a of the first bus bar 161) may be formed at the outermost inner position. For example, the second bus bar 162 may include a relatively larger number of comb electrodes 162a than the first bus bar 161. In this case, the second bus bar 162 (the comb electrodes 162a of the second bus bar 162) formed at the outermost position along the arrangement direction Z2 of the comb electrodes 161a and 162a may be formed at a position relatively close to the long side S1 of the unit area C or the long side 150S1 of the battery holder 150. And the first bus bar 161 (the comb-shaped electrodes 161a of the first bus bar 161) formed at the inner position of the second bus bar 162 (the comb-shaped electrodes 162a of the second bus bar 162) may be formed at a position relatively far from the long side S1 of the cell region C or the long side 150S1 of the battery holder 150. Figure 8 As shown in , the flexible wire 180 may include a first branch portion 181 for voltage detection and a second branch portion 182 for temperature detection, wherein, according to the positions of the first bus bar 161 and the second bus bar 162 arranged alternately, the first branch portion 181 may include a relatively long far first branch portion 181a (or far end first branch portion 181a) and a relatively short near first branch portion 181b (or near end first branch portion 181b). In addition, the second branch portion 182 may be formed at a position that does not include the second bus bar 162 adjacent to the long side S1 of the unit region C or the long side 150S1 of the battery holder 150. This will be described in more detail below.

[0061] Reference Figure 6, although the comb electrodes 161a of the first bus bar 161 and the comb electrodes 162a of the second bus bar 162 protrude from the base parts 161b and 162b in opposite directions of the positive direction and the reverse direction along the long side direction Z1, the comb electrodes 161a of the first bus bar 161 and the comb electrodes 162a of the second bus bar 162 protruding in opposite directions may be assembled with each other or adjacent to each other. The bus bar 160 may define different parallel modules P1, P2, P3, and P4 with the base parts 161b and 162b as boundaries. For example, the parallel modules P1, P2, P3, or P4 may be formed between the base part 161b of the first bus bar 161 and the base part 162b of the second bus bar 162. The parallel modules P1, P2, P3, and P4 may refer to a group of battery cells 10 connected in parallel to each other, and the parallel modules P1, P2, P3, and P4 adjacent to each other may be connected in series. More specifically, the bus bar 160 can form a parallel connection while connecting the second electrodes 12 in the battery cells 10 belonging to the same parallel module P1, P2, P3, or P4 with respect to the boundaries of the base portions 161 b and 162 b and connecting the first electrodes 11 with each other. In addition, the bus bar 160 can form a series connection while connecting the first electrodes 11 and the second electrodes 12 in the battery cells 10 belonging to different parallel modules P1, P2, P3, and P4 arranged adjacent to each other with respect to the boundaries of the base portions 161 b and 162 b.

[0062] Reference Figure 7 , the bus bar 160 may include a first bus bar 161 and a second bus bar 162 assembled to each other in a comb shape, and a parallel module P1, P2, P3 or P4 (for example, a second parallel module P2) may be formed between a base portion 161b of the first bus bar 161 and a base portion 162b of the second bus bar 162. In addition, the second parallel module P2 and the first parallel module P1 adjacent thereto may be connected in series with respect to a boundary of the base portion 162b of the second bus bar 162, and similarly, the second parallel module P2 and the third parallel module P3 adjacent thereto may be connected in series with respect to a boundary of the base portion 161b of the first bus bar 161.

[0063] In an embodiment, the bus bar 160 connects the battery cells 10 belonging to the same parallel module P1, P2, P3 or P4 in parallel or connects the battery cells 10 belonging to adjacent parallel modules P1, P2, P3 and P4 in series, which may mean that the parallel connection or the series connection can be achieved according to the connection structure between the bus bar 160 and the first electrode 11 and the second electrode 12 of the battery cell 10 (that is, whether the first connecting member 21 connects the first electrodes 11 of different battery cells 10 to the same bus bar 160, or the first connecting member 21 connects the first electrodes 11 and the second electrodes 12 of different battery cells 10 to the same bus bar 160), rather than through the structure of the bus bar 160 itself. For example, the first connecting member 21 can form a parallel connection by connecting the first electrodes 11 of the battery cells 10 belonging to the same parallel module P1, P2, P3 or P4 to the same bus bar 160 and connecting the second electrodes 12 of the battery cells 10 belonging to the same parallel module P1, P2, P3 or P4 to the same bus bar 160, and the first connecting member 21 can form a series connection by connecting the first electrodes 11 and the second electrodes 12 of the battery cells 10 belonging to adjacent parallel modules P1, P2, P3 and P4 to the same bus bar 160.

[0064] The first bus bar 161 and the second bus bar 162 electrically connected to the second parallel module P2 may include a plurality of comb electrodes 161a and 162a arranged alternately, and the battery cells 10 belonging to different rows of the second parallel module P2 are located between the plurality of comb electrodes 161a and 162a. That is, the comb electrodes 161a of the first bus bar 161 and the comb electrodes 162a of the second bus bar 162 may be arranged to face each other, and the row of the battery cells 10 is located therebetween, in which case the first electrodes 11 and the second electrodes 12 of a row of battery cells 10 may be connected together to the comb electrodes 161a of the first bus bar 161 and the comb electrodes 162a of the second bus bar 162 arranged at opposite sides by the first connecting member 21, thereby forming a parallel connection. As such, the second parallel module P2 disposed between the base portion 161 b of the first bus bar 161 and the base portion 162 b of the second bus bar 162 may be connected together to the comb electrodes 161 a and 162 a of the first bus bar 161 and the second bus bar 162 to form a parallel connection.

[0065] With respect to the boundary of the base portion 162b, the second bus bar 162 extending across the second parallel module P2 and the first parallel module P1 can be connected to the second electrode 12 in the second parallel module P2 and to the first electrode 11 in the first parallel module P1 to connect the first parallel module P1 and the second parallel module P2 to each other in series. Similarly, with respect to the boundary of the base portion 161b, the first bus bar 161 extending across the second parallel module P2 and the third parallel module P3 can be connected to the first electrode 11 in the second parallel module P2 and to the second electrode 12 in the third parallel module P3 to connect the second parallel module P2 and the third parallel module P3 to each other in series.

[0066] In an embodiment, the base portions 161b and 162b may form a boundary between different parallel modules P1, P2, P3, and P4, and may include a portion extending in a curved shape across the terminal hole h for exposing the upper end portion 10a of the battery cell 10 (more specifically, the first electrode 11 and the second electrode 12 of the battery cell 10). The base portions 161b and 162b may electrically connect a plurality of comb electrodes 161a and 162a, and may extend across a plurality of comb electrodes 161a and 162a. For example, a portion of the base portion 161b may connect a pair of comb electrodes 161a adjacent to each other, and may extend in a curved shape to connect different portions of the pair of comb electrodes 161a adjacent to each other, and a portion of the base portion 162b may connect a pair of comb electrodes 162a adjacent to each other, and may extend in a curved shape to connect different portions of the pair of comb electrodes 162a adjacent to each other.

[0067] Reference Figure 6In an embodiment, because the parallel modules P1, P2, P3, and P4 adjacent to each other in the direction along which the different parallel modules P1, P2, P3, and P4 are arranged can be connected in series, the direction Z1 along which the different parallel modules P1, P2, P3, and P4 are arranged can be referred to as a series connection direction, and when the first bus bar 161 and the second bus bar 162 are alternately arranged along the series connection direction Z1, the parallel modules P1, P2, P3, and P4 adjacent to each other can be connected in series. In an embodiment, the series connection direction Z1 can correspond to the long side direction Z1 of the unit area C or the direction Z1 of the long side portion 150S1 of the battery holder 150, and the plurality of parallel modules P1, P2, P3, and P4 can be arranged along the long side direction Z1, and when the first bus bar 161 and the second bus bar 162 are alternately arranged along the long side direction Z1, the adjacent parallel modules P1, P2, P3, and P4 can be connected in series. In an embodiment, by forming a series connection direction Z1 in the long side direction Z1 of the unit area C, a plurality of parallel modules P1, P2, P3, and P4 may be formed along the long side direction Z1 of the unit area C, and the output of the battery pack may be sufficiently increased to a required or desired level. In addition, the parallel modules P1, P2, P3, and P4 formed between the base portion 161b of the first bus bar 161 and the base portion 162b of the second bus bar 162 may be formed along a direction intersecting the long side direction Z1 (e.g., a direction Z2 perpendicular to the long side direction Z1), and the direction Z2 perpendicular to the long side direction Z1 may be defined as the parallel connection direction Z2.

[0068] Reference Figure 8 , the flexible wire 180 may be arranged on the battery holder 150 together with the bus bar 160. In addition, in an embodiment, the circuit board 140 electrically connected to the flexible wire 180 may be arranged on the battery holder 150. The flexible wire 180 may be configured to detect state information of the battery cell 10, such as the voltage and temperature of the battery cell 10. The flexible wire 180 may extend from the circuit board 140 along the long side direction Z1, and may transmit the voltage information and the temperature information of the battery cell 10 to the circuit board 140. In an embodiment, the flexible wire 180 may include a main body 185 extending along the long side direction Z1 and a first branch portion 181 for voltage detection and a second branch portion 182 for temperature detection branched from the main body 185.

[0069] The flexible wire 180 (more specifically, the body 185 of the flexible wire 180) may extend along the long side direction Z1 at the position of the long side S1 of the unit area C or the long side 150S1 of the battery holder 150. The long side direction Z1 may be a series connection direction Z1 along which different parallel modules P1, P2, P3, and P4 are arranged, and may refer to a direction in which the first bus bar 161 and the second bus bar 162 are alternately arranged, and the flexible wire 180 may detect each voltage information by being electrically connected to different first bus bars 161 and second bus bars 162 while extending along the long side direction Z1 in which the first bus bars 161 and the second bus bars 162 are alternately arranged.

[0070] In an embodiment, the body 185 of the flexible wire 180 may extend from the circuit board 140 and may extend along the long side S1 by extending from the circuit board 140, which is arranged at a corner position of the cell region C in contact with the long side S1. The body 185 of the flexible wire 180 may detect voltage information and temperature information of the battery cell 10 through the first branch portion 181 and the second branch portion 182 extending toward the cell region C while extending along the long side S1 of the cell region C.

[0071] The first branch portion 181 and the second branch portion 182 may branch from the body 185 disposed at the long side portion S1 of the cell region C and extend toward the cell region C. In this case, the first branch portion 181 may include a conductive pad (or referred to as a "pad" or "welding pad") at an end portion electrically connected to the bus bar 160 and detect voltage information from the bus bar 160. The conductive pad formed at the end portion of the first branch portion 181 may be exposed from the insulating cover portion of the flexible wire 180, and the conductive pad and the bus bar 160 may be connected by the second connection member 22 (see FIG. Figure 8 Areas "A2" to "A5" of the conductive pad 181 are electrically connected to each other. For example, the conductive pad and the bus bar 160 can be electrically connected to each other by a bonding wire serving as the second connecting member 22. As described below, the flexible wire 180 including the first branch portion 181 can be supported on the wire support 190, and the first branch portion 181 supported on the insulating wire support 190 can be electrically connected by the upper part instead of the lower part facing the wire support 190, and can be electrically connected to the bus bar 160 by the second connecting member 22, and the second connecting member 22 extends from the conductive pad formed at the end of the first branch portion 181 toward the bus bar 160 in a suspended state. Because the end of the first branch portion 181 can be firmly supported on the wire support 190, the bus bar 160 and the conductive pad formed at the end of the first branch portion 181 can be electrically connected to each other by wire bonding. In an embodiment, referring to Fig. 9, the second branch portion 182 may include a thermistor (or temperature sensor) 182a at an end portion contacting or approaching the outer peripheral surface 10c of the battery cell 10 to detect temperature information from the outer peripheral surface 10c of the battery cell 10. For example, the thermistor 182a may be provided as a chip type thermistor that can be directly mounted on the flexible wire 180 by welding mounting.

[0072] Reference Figure 8 , the first branch portion 181 may branch from the body 185 of the flexible wire 180 along a direction intersecting the long side direction Z1 (e.g., a direction perpendicular to the long side direction Z1). In this case, the first branch portion 181 may include a plurality of first branch portions 181 branched at different positions along the length direction (corresponding to the long side direction Z1) of the body 185 to detect voltage information from the first bus bar 161 and the second bus bar 162 alternately arranged along the long side direction Z1. The first branch portion 181 may extend from the body 185 of the flexible wire 180 toward the bus bar 160, and may form an electrical connection with the outermost comb-shaped electrodes 161a and 162a positioned close to the long side portion S1 of the cell region C or the long side portion 150S1 of the battery holder 150 to shorten the length of the first branch portion 181, where the body 185 of the flexible wire 180 is positioned at the long side portion S1 of the cell region C or the long side portion 150S1 of the battery holder 150. That is, the first branch portions 181 may make electrical connections with the outermost comb-shaped electrodes 161 a and 162 a of each bus bar 160 .

[0073] The first branch portion 181 may include a distal first branch portion 181a (or distal first branch portion 181a) extending relatively long (see FIG. 1 ), depending on the distance from the body 185 of the flexible wire 180 to the bus bar 160 (the comb electrodes 161a and 162a of the bus bar 160) whose voltage is to be detected. Figure 8 The regions "A3" and "A5") and the proximal first branch portion 181b (or the proximal first branch portion 181b) extending relatively short (see Figure 8In this case, in an embodiment, the far first branch portions 181a (see regions "A3" and "A5") and the near first branch portions 181b (see regions "A2" and "A4") may be alternately arranged along the long side direction Z1. In an embodiment, the first bus bar 161 (the comb electrodes 161a of the first bus bar 161) relatively far from the long side portion S1 of the unit region C along the arrangement direction Z2 of the comb electrodes 161a and 162a and the second bus bar 162 (the comb electrodes 162a of the second bus bar 162) relatively close to the long side portion S1 of the unit region C may be alternately arranged along the long side direction Z1, and according to the alternating arrangement of the first bus bar 161 and the second bus bar 162, the far first branch portions 181a and the near first branch portions 181b may also be alternately arranged along the long side direction Z1. That is, the far first branch portion 181a (see regions "A3" and "A5") can detect voltage information by connecting to the first bus bar 161 (the comb-shaped electrode 161a of the first bus bar 161) which is relatively far from the long side S1 of the unit region C. And the near first branch portion 181b (see regions "A2" and "A4") can detect voltage information by connecting to the second bus bar 162 (the comb-shaped electrode 162a of the second bus bar 162) which is relatively close to the long side S1 of the unit region C. In this case, the far first branch portion 181a (see regions "A3" and "A5") can extend to a position close to the first bus bar 161 so as not to overlap the first bus bar 161, and can be electrically connected to the first bus bar 161 through the second connection member 22. For example, the distal first branch portion 181a may extend across the second bus bar 162 (the comb-shaped electrodes 162a of the second bus bar 162) adjacent to the long side S1 of the cell region C (see Figure 8 The area "A5" of the second bus bar 162 may be formed by the gaps g between different second bus bars 162 (the comb-shaped electrodes 162a of the second bus bar 162). Figure 8 The region "A3" of the first bus bar 161 extends toward the first bus bar 161 (the comb-shaped electrode 161a of the first bus bar 161). Figure 8 The regions “A2” and “A4” of the second bus bar 162 may extend onto the second bus bar 162 to overlap the second bus bar 162, and may be electrically connected to the second bus bar 162 through the second connection member 22 on the second bus bar 162 (see Figure 8 In the embodiment, the second connection member 22 connected to the far first branch portion 181a and the near first branch portion 181b may extend in different directions according to the relative arrangement between each first branch portion 181 and the first bus bar 161 and the second bus bar 162; for example, the second connection member 22 connected to the near first branch portion 181b may extend in the long side direction Z1 (see Figure 8 The second connecting member 22 connected to the distal first branch portion 181a may be connected along a direction intersecting the long side direction Z1 (e.g., along a direction Z2 perpendicular to the long side direction Z1, i.e., a direction Z2 parallel to the first branch portion 181 (see Figure 8 The areas "A3" and "A5") extend.

[0074] In this way, the first branch portion 181 may be electrically connected to the first bus bar 161 and the second bus bar 162 alternately arranged along the long side direction Z1 to detect voltage information from each bus bar 160. However, in an embodiment, the first branch portion 181 may not be connected to all the bus bars 160 provided in the battery pack. In an embodiment, for example, the bus bar 160 located closest to the circuit board 140 may not be connected to the first branch portion 181 (see Figure 8 In an embodiment, the bus bar 160 at a position adjacent to the circuit board 140 may be directly connected to the circuit board 140 and may be directly connected to the circuit board 140 through the second connection member 22, and voltage information may be directly transmitted to the circuit board 140 without passing through the first branch portion 181.

[0075] Reference Fig.10 and Fig.11 , the second branch portion 182 (see Fig.10 The second branch portion 182 may extend from the main body 185 of the flexible wire 180 at an oblique angle. More specifically, the second branch portion 182 may extend along a diagonal direction between a first direction (long side direction Z1) along which the main body 185 extends and a second direction (direction Z2 intersecting the long side direction Z1) along which the first branch portion 181 extends, and may extend along a diagonal direction that concurrently (e.g., simultaneously) follows the first direction Z1 and the second direction Z2. The first direction Z1 may correspond to the long side direction Z1, and the second direction Z2 may correspond to a direction intersecting the long side direction Z1 (e.g., a direction perpendicular to the long side direction Z1). Because the second branch portion 182 can extend in a diagonal direction between the first direction (the long side direction Z1) along which the main body 185 extends and the second direction (the direction Z2 intersecting the long side direction Z1) along which the first branch portion 181 extends, the second branch portion 182 can be easily bent, and when the second branch portion 182 is bent, interference from the first branch portion 181 and the main body 185 adjacent to the second branch portion 182 can be minimized or reduced.

[0076] Reference Fig.11, the second branch portion 182 may be bent downward toward the outer peripheral surface 10c of the battery cell 10 while branching from the main body 185, and the end of the second branch portion 182 (e.g., the thermistor 182a formed at the end) may be elastically biased relative to the outer peripheral surface 10c of the battery cell 10 under the influence of the rebound or elastic restoring force caused by the deformation of the bent portion 180b. For example, the second branch portion 182 may extend downward through the circular bent portion 180b, and the end of the second branch portion 182 (e.g., the thermistor 182a formed at the end) may approach the outer peripheral surface 10c of the battery cell 10 under the influence of the rebound or elastic restoring force. In an embodiment, the second branch portion 182 may include a circular bent portion 180b instead of an angled bent portion, and the circular bent portion 180b may apply an elastic restoring force so that the end of the second branch portion 182 (e.g., the thermistor 182a formed at the end) is effectively elastically biased relative to the outer peripheral surface 10c of the battery cell 10. For example, when the second branch portion 182 includes an angled bend portion, the elastic restoring force may be relatively weaker than the circular bend portion 180b due to the plastic deformation of the angled portion of the bend portion, and therefore, the elastic bias that tends to approach the outer peripheral surface 10c of the battery cell 10 according to the elastic restoring force of the end portion of the second branch portion 182 (e.g., the thermistor 182a formed at the end portion) may be weak. Therefore, in an embodiment, the second branch portion 182 may include a circular bend portion 180b instead of an angled bend portion, and the circular bend portion 180b may allow the end portion of the second branch portion 182 (e.g., the thermistor 182a formed at the end portion) to approach the outer peripheral surface 10c of the battery cell 10, for example, the end portion of the second branch portion 182 (e.g., the thermistor 182a formed at the end portion) may be in contact with the outer peripheral surface 10c of the battery cell 10.

[0077] The second branch portion 182 can be formed along the guide member 192 (see FIG. Fig. 9 ) through the through hole 150' formed in the upper battery holder 150a (see Fig.11 ) to approach the outer peripheral surface 10c of the battery cell 10. In an embodiment, the outer peripheral surface 10c of the battery cell 10 at which the second branch portion 182 is elastically biased may be exposed between the upper battery holder 150a and the lower battery holder 150b, and an end portion of the second branch portion 182 passing through the upper battery holder 150a (e.g., the thermistor 182a formed at the end portion) may approach the outer peripheral surface 10c of the battery cell 10 exposed between the upper battery holder 150a and the lower battery holder 150b.

[0078] Reference Fig.11A thermally conductive adhesive TS such as thermally conductive silicone may be positioned between an end of the second branch portion 182 (eg, thermistor 182a formed at the end) and the outer peripheral surface 10c of the battery cell 10 to securely maintain thermal bonding therebetween.

[0079] Reference Fig. 9 , the battery cell 10 (e.g., the first battery cell) whose temperature is detected according to the approach of the second branch portion 182 may be the battery cell 10 whose outer peripheral surface 10 c is exposed through the long side portion S1 of the cell region C. Since the second branch portion 182 is branched from the body 185 of the flexible wire 180 arranged at the long side portion S1 of the cell region C, the second branch portion 182 may easily approach the battery cell 10 whose outer peripheral surface 10 c is exposed through the long side portion S1 of the cell region C.

[0080] Reference Figure 8 and Fig. 9 The second branch portion 182 may branch at one or more points along the body 185 of the flexible wire 180 (see Fig. 9 The second branch portion 182 may branch from the main body 185 of the flexible wire 180 arranged at the long side S1 of the cell area C, and approach the outer peripheral surface 10c of the battery cell 10 adjacent to the long side S1 to detect temperature information. That is, the second branch portion 182 may pass through the battery holder 150 at a position adjacent to the long side S1 of the cell area C, and approach the outer peripheral surface 10c of the battery cell 10 adjacent to the long side S1. In an embodiment, because it may be difficult for the second branch portion 182 to approach the outer peripheral surface 10c of the battery cell 10 at a point where the second bus bar 162 (the comb-shaped electrodes 162a of the second bus bar 162) relatively adjacent to the long side S1 of the cell area C is arranged, the second branch portion 182 may be formed at a position where the second bus bar 162 is not included, so as not to be interfered with by the second bus bar 162 relatively adjacent to the long side S1. That is, the second branch portion 182 may branch along the body 185 of the flexible wire 180 at a position not including the second bus bar 162 (see Figure 8 In the embodiment, the second branch portion 182 may branch along the body 185 of the flexible wire 180 at a position corresponding to the gap g between different second bus bars 162 (comb-shaped electrodes 162a of the second bus bar 162) (see Figure 8In addition, the second branch portion 182 may branch along the body 185 of the flexible wire 180 at a position between the circuit board 140 and the second bus bar 162 (the comb-shaped electrodes 162a of the second bus bar 162), that is, at a position where the flexible wire 180 begins to extend from the circuit board 140.

[0081] Reference Fig. 9 and Fig.10 , at a position corresponding to the gap g between different second bus bars 162 (comb-shaped electrodes 162a of the second bus bar 162) (see area "A3"), the second branch portion 182 may branch from the main body 185 together with the far first branch portion 181a, and may be bent downward toward the outer peripheral surface 10c of the battery cell 10 while extending in the diagonal direction between the main body 185 and the first branch portion 181. In this case, a cutting groove 180' may be formed around the bent portion 180b of the second branch portion 182 so that the bending of the second branch portion 182 is not blocked by the first branch portion 181 and the main body 185 extending in different directions while being adjacent to the second branch portion 182.

[0082] Reference Fig. 9 and Fig.10 , at a position adjacent to the circuit board 140 (see region “A1”), the second branch portion 182 may extend from the body 185 of the flexible wire 180 in a diagonal direction to bend downward toward the outer periphery of the battery cell 10. In an embodiment, the second branch portion 182 at a position adjacent to the circuit board 140 (see region “A1”) and the second branch portion 182 at a position corresponding to the gap g between different second bus bars 162 (see region “A3”) may branch from the body 185 in substantially the same diagonal direction relative to the body 185 of the flexible wire 180. In addition, at a position where the circuit board 140 and the body 185 of the flexible wire 180 are connected to each other (see region “A1”), the body 185 of the flexible wire 180 may be formed to have a relatively large width, and a cutting groove 180′ may be formed around the bent portion 180b of the second branch portion 182 so that the second branch portion 182 may be easily bent.

[0083] Reference Figure 8In an embodiment, the flexible wire 180 (i.e., the body 185 of the flexible wire 180) may be positioned at the long side S1 of the cell region C or the long side 150S1 of the battery holder 150. In various embodiments, the body 185 of the flexible wire 180 may be arranged at an edge position of the battery holder 150 or the cell region C. In the cell region C, since electrical connections are formed between the plurality of battery cells 10 and the bus bar 160, the flexible wire 180 may be arranged at a position corresponding to the edge of the cell region C so as not to interfere with the electrical connection between the battery cells 10 and the bus bar 160. In addition, the first branch portion 181 and the second branch portion 182 branched from the body 185 of the flexible wire 180 may extend from the edge of the cell region C toward the cell region C.

[0084] Reference Fig. 9 , the flexible wire 180 can be accommodated in a wire support 190 arranged on the battery holder 150, and can be insulated from and protected from the surrounding environment in the wire support 190. In addition, the wire support 190 can provide a solid support base for the flexible wire 180, thereby allowing wire bonding to the flexible wire 180. For example, the first branch portion 181 of the flexible wire 180 (the conductive pad at the end of the first branch portion 181) and the bus bar 160 can be bonded by wire bonding (corresponding to Figure 8 The second connecting member 22 of the flexible wire 180 is electrically connected to each other. In an embodiment, the wire support 190 may provide a channel-shaped groove for accommodating the flexible wire 180, and may be formed of an insulating material. In an embodiment, for example, similar to the battery holder 150, the wire support 190 may be formed of a resin material. In an embodiment, the wire support 190 may extend in substantially the same form as the flexible wire 180 to support the first branch portion 181 and the main body 185 of the flexible wire 180, and may guide the second branch portion 182 downward toward the battery cell 10. That is, the second branch portion 182 may extend in a downward direction of the wire support 190 through the guide 192 of the wire support 190, and may approach the outer peripheral surface 10c of the battery cell 10. In an embodiment, the wire support 190 may include a main body 195 for supporting the body 185 of the flexible wire 180, a branch portion 191 for supporting the first branch portion 181, and a guide 192 for guiding the second branch portion 182, and may have a shape corresponding to each of the main body 185, the first branch portion 181, and the second branch portion 182 of the flexible wire 180 to have a shape matching the shape of the flexible wire 180.

[0085] According to one or more disclosed embodiments, in order to detect temperature information and voltage information of a plurality of battery cells together, state information of the battery cells may be collected by branching portions branching from a body disposed at an edge of the cell region toward the cell region.

[0086] According to aspects of one or more disclosed embodiments, voltage information can be detected from different bus bars by a flexible wire including a first branch portion and a second branch portion having a voltage sensing structure and a temperature sensing structure, while temperature information can be collected from the peripheral surface of the battery cell exposed through the side surface of the cell area.
