Cleaning apparatus

Abstract

The present disclosure provides a cleaning device for cleaning a surface, typically a planar surface. The cleaning device comprises two functional elements, a sweeping element for allowing a surface to be swept with a sweeper and a wiper element for wiping the surface, typically a portion of the surface that has been swept by the sweeper of the sweeping element to complete the cleaning process. The cleaning device is designed such that one of the elements is further formed with a head unit configured to receive an end of a handle, such as a stick, and the other element is rotatable about an axis to allow efficient cleaning process by the device at different portions of the surface at different distances from the object using the device. Typically, the head unit is formed on the wiper element, the sweeping element is rotatable about its own central axis, and the two elements are integrally coupled to each other, for example by gluing the intended coupling portions of the two elements to each other.
