A fixture for manhole access

Abstract

This invention belongs to the field of drainage pipe network wellhead inspection technology, specifically a fixed device located at the manhole opening. It includes a main body comprising a ring and a cylinder. The ring is welded to the top of the cylinder. A drive screw and a driven screw are rotatably mounted on the bottom of the ring. Multiple driven screws are present, and the drive screw is connected to these driven screws. The top of the drive screw extends to the top of the main body and is fitted with a bolt head for connecting to a No. 24 sleeve. Support mechanisms are provided on both the drive screw and the driven screw. Three sets of linkage mechanisms are evenly arranged inside the cylinder. This invention places the device on the manhole cover support plane to ensure coaxiality between the device and the manhole opening. A guide ring is located at both the top and bottom of the device to limit the telescopic rod of the periscope, restricting the influence of human movement on the rod to vertical movement and rotation, and preventing the operator from being suspended in mid-air during operation.
