[0023] [Description of embodiments of this disclosure]

[0024] First, let's illustrate the implementation forms of this disclosure.

[0025] The wiring components disclosed herein are as follows.

[0026] (1) A wiring component comprising: a connector housing having a cavity; a wire having one end received in the cavity and the other end extending outward from an opening in the cavity; a sealing member fitted to the connector housing or the wire, blocking at least a portion of the gap between the connector housing and the wire at the opening of the cavity; and a resin molding portion extending from a rear end of the connector housing to a position in the wire at a point closer to the other end than the portion where the sealing member is located. The sealing member blocks at least a portion of the gap between the connector housing and the wire at the opening of the cavity, thereby easily preventing resin from entering the cavity from the opening during the molding of the resin molding portion.

[0027] (2) In the wiring assembly of (1), the sealing member may also include: a semi-cylindrical first member that covers the wire from one side; and a semi-cylindrical second member that covers the wire from the other side. Thus, the sealing member can be installed on the wire from the side, making installation of the sealing member onto the wire easier.

[0028] (3) In the wiring component of (1) or (2), the sealing member may also include a through-hole formed in a plate-like portion for the wire to pass through. This through-hole is smaller than the chamber, and the plate-like portion is larger than the chamber and located on the side of the opening of the chamber closer to the other end of the wire. Therefore, because the hole is smaller than the chamber, resin has difficulty entering between the hole and the wire. Furthermore, because the plate-like portion is larger than the chamber and located on the side of the opening of the chamber closer to the other end of the wire, the entrance to the hole is farther from the opening of the chamber. Therefore, even if resin enters between the hole and the wire, it has difficulty reaching the chamber.

[0029] (4) In any of the wiring components in (1) to (3), a gate mark may remain on the outer surface of the resin molding part. The gate mark is a mark on the mold gate provided during the molding of the resin molding part to allow the molten resin to flow into the mold. The gate mark is located on the other end side of the wire, closer to the sealing member. Thus, during the molding of the resin molding part, the molten resin can press the sealing member toward the front end of the connector housing, and can suppress the sealing member from deviating from the opening of the cavity toward the other end side of the wire.

[0030] (5) In the wiring component of (4), the surface of the sealing member facing the front end of the connector housing can also contact the connector housing. Thus, even if the molten resin presses the sealing member toward the front end of the connector housing during the molding of the resin molding part, the sealing member can be prevented from moving beyond what is necessary toward the front end of the connector housing.

[0031] (6) In addition, the method for manufacturing the wiring component disclosed herein includes: a preparation step in which, for a wire with an attached connector whose end is housed in a cavity of a connector housing, a sealing member is disposed on the connector housing or the wire, and the wire with the attached connector and the sealing member are housed inside a mold, the sealing member blocking at least a portion of the gap between the connector housing and the wire at the opening of the cavity; and a molding step in which molten resin is allowed to flow into the mold after the preparation step. The molding step begins with the sealing member blocking the gap between the connector housing and the wire at the opening of the cavity, thus easily preventing resin from entering the cavity from the opening during the molding step.

[0032] (7) In the manufacturing method of the wiring component in (6), a portion of the outer periphery of the sealing member may be pressed by the mold during the forming process. This suppresses positional deviation of the sealing member during the forming process.

[0033] [Details of the embodiments of this disclosure]

[0034] Hereinafter, with reference to the accompanying drawings, specific examples of the wiring components and methods of manufacturing the wiring components of this disclosure are described. It should be noted that this disclosure is not limited to these examples, but is disclosed by the claims and is intended to include all modifications within the meaning and scope equivalent to the claims.

[0035] [Implementation Method 1]

[0036] The wiring component of Embodiment 1 and its manufacturing method are described below. Figure 1 This is a perspective view of the wiring component 10 in Embodiment 1. Figure 2 This is an exploded perspective view showing the wiring component 10 of Embodiment 1. Figure 2 In the text, the resin molding part 50 and the terminal T are omitted.

[0037] The wiring component 10 connects equipment in a vehicle, transmitting power or light. The wiring component 10 can also be installed in any location within the vehicle. Here, the wiring component 10 will be described as a structure for a wiring component used in the traveling section of a vehicle to connect equipment on the vehicle body side to equipment on the traveling section. Figure 1 The diagram shows a portion of the end of the wiring assembly 10 that includes the device connection side with the travel section. The wiring assembly 10 includes a connector housing 20, a wire 30, a sealing member 40, and a resin molding portion 50.

[0038] <Connector Housing>

[0039] A cavity 21 is formed in the connector housing 20. The number of cavities 21 is determined by the number of wires 30 housed in the connector housing 20. Here, two wires 30 are housed in the connector housing 20, therefore two cavities 21 are provided. In this example, no empty cavities are provided in the connector housing 20, and all cavities 21 house the wires 30. Here, the connector housing 20 includes a main body 22 and an extension 23.

[0040] The front end of the main body 22 is the part that connects to the connecting component on the opposite side (e.g., the connector on the opposite side). The extension 23 protrudes from the rear end of the main body 22 toward the rear end of the connector housing 20. The chamber 21 extends from the extension 23 into the main body 22. An opening of one of the chambers 21 is formed on the end face 24 of the extension 23. The end of the wire 30 is inserted through this opening. Here, the cross-section of the extension 23 is formed into an elongated oval (elliptical in this case). This elongated oval cross-section is continuous along the axial direction of the chamber 21. Therefore, the end face 24 is also formed into an elongated oval. In the elongated end face 24, the openings of the two chambers 21 are arranged along the long axis. The outer edge of the end face 24 is located further outward than the chambers 21 along the radial direction of the chambers 21, and the chambers 21 do not reach the outer edge of the end face 24.

[0041] A bulge 25 is provided around the extension 23. The bulge 25 is provided on the outer periphery of the front end portion of the extension 23 on the end face 24 side. The front end portion of the extension 23 with the bulge 25 is thicker than the base end portion of the extension 23 without the bulge 25. The outer surface of the bulge 25 becomes tapered as it moves toward the end face 24 side. The bulge 25 is frustoconical. A step is formed between the front end portion with the bulge 25 and the base end portion without the bulge 25 in the extension 23.

[0042] In the connector housing 20, a protective cover portion 26 protrudes from the rear end side of the end face 24. The outer surface of the protective cover portion 26 is designed to be a continuous, tapering shape extending from the bulge portion 25. The outer surface of the tip of the protective cover portion 26 is formed into an elongated oval shape smaller than the outer surface of the base end portion of the extension portion 23 where the bulge portion 25 is not located (see reference). Figure 4 The inner surface of the shield portion 26 is formed into an elongated oval shape smaller than the outer surface of the base end of the extension portion 23 where the bulge portion 25 is not provided. The inner surface of the shield portion 26 is continuous in size along the axial direction of the chamber 21.

[0043] <Wire>

[0044] One end of the wire 30 is housed in the chamber 21. The other end of the wire 30 extends outward from the opening of the chamber 21. Here, two wires 30 are housed in the connector housing 20. However, the number of wires 30 housed in one connector housing 20 is not limited to two; it can also be one or more.

[0045] Wire 30 is a sheathed wire comprising a core wire and a sheath. The core wire is a wire-shaped component formed from metal wires such as copper, copper alloy, aluminum, or aluminum alloy. The core wire can be a single wire or a stranded wire composed of multiple wires twisted together. The sheath is the insulating portion covering the core wire. The sheath is formed, for example, by extruding resin around the core wire.

[0046] Here, a sheath 32 is provided around the two wires 30. The two wires 30 are gathered by the sheath 32. The sheath 32 is formed by extruding resin around, for example, the wires 30. The ends of the wires 30 extend from the ends of the sheath 32 and are received in the connector housing 20. The ends of the sheath 32 are located at a position separated from the connector housing 20 along the length direction of the wires 30.

[0047] A terminal T is provided at the front end of the wire 30. The terminal T is connected to the wire 30 by pressure welding, crimping, or soldering. The terminal T and the portion of the wire 30 connected to the terminal T are housed within the chamber 21. When the wire 30 is inserted to a predetermined position, it covers the opening of the chamber 21. The opening of the chamber 21 is formed to facilitate the insertion of the terminal T and is larger than the wire 30. Therefore, the gap between the cover and the inner surface of the chamber 21 in the opening of the chamber 21 becomes larger. It should be noted that... Figure 2 In the example shown, the opening of chamber 21 is circular, but the opening of chamber 21 can also be quadrilateral or the like.

[0048] <Sealing components>

[0049] Regarding sealing component 40, besides Figure 1 and Figure 2 In addition, refer to Figure 3 and Figure 4 Provide a detailed description. Figure 3 This is an explanatory diagram showing the configuration of the sealing component 40. Figure 4 This is an explanatory diagram showing the formation of the resin molding part 50.

[0050] The sealing member 40 is fitted onto the connector housing 20 or the wire 30. The sealing member 40 closes at least a portion of the gap between the connector housing 20 and the wire 30 at the opening of the chamber 21. Here, the sealing member 40 is not a structure in which the connector housing 20 and the wire 30 are embedded as inserts, but rather a structure in which a molded article separately formed with the connector housing 20 and the wire 30 is fitted. One sealing member 40 reduces the gap between each of the multiple wires 30 and the connector housing 20. However, different sealing members may be provided according to the wires 30. The sealing member 40 includes a insertion portion 41 and a mating portion 44.

[0051] The insertion portion 41 is the portion of the plate-shaped portion 42 through which the power supply wire 30 passes. The plate-shaped portion 42 is formed to be larger than the chamber 21. The plate-shaped portion 42 can be formed to be equal to or larger than the end face 24 through which the chamber 21 is formed. The plate-shaped portion 42 is located on the other end side of the opening of the chamber 21, closer to the end of the wire 30. As a result, the opening of the hole 43 is located on the other end side of the opening of the chamber 21, making it difficult for resin to reach the chamber 21 even if it enters the hole 43.

[0052] The hole 43 is smaller than the chamber 21. Therefore, the plate-like portion 42 can close at least a portion of the gap between the connector housing 20 and the wire 30 at the opening of the chamber 21. The hole 43 is formed in a circular shape larger than the wire 30. Therefore, even if the sealing member 40 is partially circumferentially attached to the wire 30, it is not circumferentially attached entirely, leaving a gap between the sealing member 40 and the wire 30. Furthermore, there is no situation where the sealing member 40 clamps the wire 30 at two points on opposite sides along the circumferential direction. The hole 43 can be formed to be equal to or smaller than the wire 30, allowing for either circumferentially attached sealing member 40 to the wire 30 or clamping the wire 30 at two points on opposite sides along the circumferential direction.

[0053] Here, the plate-shaped portion 42 is formed to be larger than the protective cover portion 26. The plate-shaped portion 42 is positioned on the other end side of the protective cover portion 26, closer to the wire 30. This creates a gap between the plate-shaped portion 42 and the end face 24, allowing the protective cover portion 26 to function as a resin accumulation area. That is, during the molding of the resin molding portion 50, even if resin enters the interior through the hole 43, the resin can be temporarily accumulated in the protective cover portion 26. At this time, the end face 24 is formed in an elongated oval shape, with the outer edge of the portion between the two chambers 21 protruding outwards. Therefore, the resin accumulated in the protective cover portion 26 is unlikely to reach the opening of the chamber 21.

[0054] The fitting portion 44 extends from the insertion portion 41 toward the connector housing 20. The fitting portion 44 fits into the extension portion 23 of the connector housing 20. The fitting portion 44 extends from the outer edge of the plate-shaped portion 42 past the bulge 25 to the base end of the extension portion 23 without the bulge 25. The base end of the fitting portion 44 on the plate-shaped portion 42 side expands in diameter as it separates from the plate-shaped portion 42. The front end of the fitting portion 44 shrinks in diameter as it separates from the plate-shaped portion 42. The opening of the fitting portion 44 is formed to be smaller than the bulge 25, and engages with the step created by providing the bulge 25 in the extension portion 23.

[0055] The surface of the sealing member 40 facing the front end of the connector housing 20 contacts the connector housing 20. Here, the surface of the plate-shaped portion 42 facing the front end of the connector housing 20 contacts the end face of the protective cover portion 26. Here, the sealing member 40 is located outside the chamber 21. That is, the sealing member 40 does not include a portion inserted into the chamber 21.

[0056] Here, the sealing member 40 includes a first member 45 and a second member 46. The first member 45 and the second member 46 are formed as two semi-cylindrical sections dividing the insertion portion 41 and the fitting portion 44. Grooves 43B are formed in the first member 45 and the second member 46. The groove 43B of the first member 45 mates with the groove 43B of the second member 46 to form a hole 43. The first member 45 covers the wire 30 from one side. The second member 46 covers the wire 30 from the other side. The first member 45 and the second member 46 are assembled in a direction orthogonal to the parallel direction of the wire 30. The first member 45 and the second member 46 are formed as semi-cylindrical sections of the same size. The first member 45 and the second member 46 are shaped as if cut along a plane parallel to the axial direction of the holes 43 that connects the centers of the two holes 43 in the insertion portion 41. The first member 45 and the second member 46 may also be formed as semi-cylindrical sections of different sizes.

[0057] The first component 45 and the second component 46 are separate units, and can be easily assembled and disassembled before the resin molding part 50 is installed. Figure 3 As shown, a locking portion 47 and a locking receiving portion 48 may be provided in the sealing member 40. The locking portion 47 and the locking receiving portion 48 maintain the assembled state of the first member 45 and the second member 46 surrounding the wire 30. The locking portion 47 is formed in the shape of a protrusion, and the locking receiving portion 48 is formed in the shape of a hole into which the locking portion 47 can be inserted. When the locking portion 47 is inserted into the locking receiving portion 48, a portion of the locking portion 47 is locked at the periphery of the hole in the locking receiving portion 48.

[0058] exist Figure 3 In the example shown, locking portions 47 are provided on both sides of the fitting portion 44 of the first member 45, and locking receiving portions 48 are provided on both sides of the fitting portion 44 of the second member 46. Alternatively, locking portions 47 may be provided on one side of the fitting portion 44 of the first member 45 and the other side of the fitting portion 44 of the second member 46, and locking receiving portions 48 may be provided on one side of the fitting portion 44 of the second member 46 and the other side of the fitting portion 44 of the first member 45. In this case, the first member 45 and the second member 46 are rotationally symmetrical and can be made as identical components. This reduces the number of component types.

[0059] The resin material used for the sealing component 40 can be any resin material, but it can be a resin material that can bond with the resin of the resin molding part 50 during the molding of the resin molding part 50.

[0060] <Resin Molding Section>

[0061] The resin-molded portion 50 extends from the rear end of the connector housing 20 to a position in the middle of the wire 30, closer to the other end than the portion where the sealing member 40 is located. Here, one end of the resin-molded portion 50 covers the extension portion 23. The other end of the resin-molded portion 50 covers the sheath 32. The outer surface shape of the resin-molded portion 50 can be arbitrary. Here, the outer surface of the portion of the resin-molded portion 50 covering the sheath 32 is formed into a circular shape corresponding to the outer surface of the sheath 32. The outer surface of the portion of the resin-molded portion 50 covering the wire 30 extending from the end of the sheath 32 is formed into a frustum-shaped pyramid. The outer surface of the portion of the resin-molded portion 50 covering the sealing member 40 is formed into an elongated oval shape corresponding to the outer surface of the sealing member 40.

[0062] The resin molding part 50 is injection molded (embedded molding) using the mold 80. At this time, the connector housing 20, the wire 30 and the sealing member 40 are set as embedded members.

[0063] The mold 80 includes an upper mold 81 and a lower mold 82. A portion of the connector housing 20 and a portion of the wire 30 are led outward from between the upper mold 81 and the lower mold 82. A gate 83 is provided in the mold 80. The gate 83 is a portion used to allow molten resin to flow into the mold 80 during the molding of the resin molding section 50. A gate mark 51, which serves as a trace of the gate 83, may sometimes remain on the outer surface of the resin molding section 50. The gate mark 51 is, for example, a mark left by cutting off the resin remaining at the location of the gate 83 when the molding of the resin molding section 50 is completed.

[0064] like Figure 4 As shown, in the mold 80, the gate 83 is located on the side of the sealing member 40 closer to the end of the wire 30. Therefore, the gate mark 51 is located on the side of the sealing member 40 closer to the end of the wire 30. Here, the gate mark 51 is located on the side of the sheath 32 closer to the end of the wire 30. The gate mark 51 is provided on the outer surface of the portion of the resin molding section 50 that covers the sheath 32.

[0065] Any resin material can be used as the resin material for the resin molding part 50, such as polyurethane. When polyurethane is used as the resin material for the resin molding part 50, polyurethane or nylon can also be used as the resin material for the sealing member 40.

[0066] <Manufacturing Method>

[0067] Next, the manufacturing method of the wiring component 10 will be described. The manufacturing method of the wiring component 10 includes a preparation process and a forming process.

[0068] The preparation process is as follows: For a wire with a connector whose end of the wire 30 is housed in the cavity 21 of the connector housing 20, a sealing member 40 is disposed on the connector housing 20 or the wire 30, and the wire with the connector and the sealing member 40 are housed inside the mold 80. The sealing member 40 blocks at least a portion of the gap between the connector housing 20 and the wire 30 at the opening of the cavity 21. The sealing member 40 covers the extension 23 and the wire 30 with the first member 45 and the second member 46, thereby locking the locking part 47 and the locking receiving part 48. The wire 30 and the connector housing 20 are partially housed inside the mold 80. The other end of the wire 30 and the main body 22 of the connector housing 20 extend outward from the mold 80 through the lead-out part disposed between the upper mold 81 and the lower mold 82. The sealing member 40 is entirely housed inside the mold 80. When the preparation process is completed, it becomes... Figure 4 The state shown.

[0069] The molding process is a process in which molten resin flows into the interior of the mold 80 after the preparation process. After the molten resin is filled into the interior of the mold 80, a resin molding portion 50 with an outer surface shape corresponding to the inner surface shape of the mold 80 is formed due to solidification, thereby manufacturing the wiring component 10. The molten resin flowing into the mold 80 from the gate 83 flows from one side of the sheath 32 toward the connector housing 20. At this time, at least a portion of the opening of the chamber 21 is blocked by the sealing member 40, so the molten resin has difficulty reaching the opening of the chamber 21. Moreover, even if the molten resin enters the hole 43 of the sealing member 40, since the hole 43 is separated from the opening of the chamber 21, and a resin accumulation area formed by the shield portion 26 is provided between them, the molten resin also has difficulty reaching the opening of the chamber 21.

[0070] The sealing member 40 is pressed towards the connector housing 20 by molten resin. At this time, the plate-shaped portion 42 contacts the protective cover portion 26, thereby restricting the movement of the sealing member 40 toward the connector housing 20.

[0071] <Effects of Implementation Method 1, etc.>

[0072] According to the wiring component 10 configured as described above, by providing the resin molding part 50, water can be stopped at the opening of the chamber 21 and the end of the sheath 32. At this time, the sealing member 40 blocks at least a portion of the gap between the connector housing 20 and the wire 30 at the opening of the chamber 21, thereby easily preventing resin from entering the chamber 21 from the opening of the chamber 21 during the molding of the resin molding part 50.

[0073] Additionally, the sealing member 40 includes a semi-cylindrical first member 45 that covers the wire 30 from one side and a semi-cylindrical second member 46 that covers the wire 30 from the other side. This allows the sealing member 40 to be installed onto the wire 30 from the side, facilitating the installation of the sealing member 40 onto the wire 30.

[0074] Furthermore, in the insertion portion 41 of the sealing member 40, the hole 43 is formed smaller than the chamber 21, making it difficult for resin to enter between the hole 43 and the wire 30. Moreover, in the insertion portion 41 of the sealing member 40, the plate-like portion 42 is formed larger than the chamber 21 and located on the side opposite to the opening of the chamber 21 to the wire 30, thus the entrance of the hole 43 is further away from the opening of the chamber 21. Therefore, even if resin enters between the hole 43 and the wire 30, it is difficult for the resin to reach the chamber 21.

[0075] Furthermore, the gate mark 51 is located on the other end side of the wire 30, closer to the sealing member 40. Therefore, during the molding of the resin molding part 50, the molten resin can press the sealing member 40 toward the front end of the connector housing 20, and can prevent the sealing member 40 from deviating from its position from the opening of the chamber 21 toward the other end side of the wire 30.

[0076] Furthermore, the surface of the sealing member 40 facing the front end of the connector housing 20 contacts the connector housing 20. Thus, even if the molten resin presses the sealing member 40 toward the front end of the connector housing 20 during the molding of the resin molding section 50, the sealing member 40 is prevented from moving beyond what is necessary toward the front end of the connector housing 20.

[0077] Furthermore, according to the manufacturing method of the wiring component 10, the molding process is started with the sealing member 40 blocking at least a portion of the gap between the connector housing 20 and the wire 30 at the opening of the chamber 21. Therefore, during the molding process, it is possible to easily suppress the entry of resin from the opening of the chamber 21 into the chamber 21.

[0078] [Implementation Method 2]

[0079] The wiring components of Embodiment 2 are described. Figure 5 This is an exploded perspective view showing the wiring component 110 of Embodiment 2. Figure 5 In, with Figure 2 Similarly, the resin molding part 50 and the terminal T are omitted. Figure 6 This is an explanatory diagram illustrating the use of sealing member 140 to form resin molding part 50. It should be noted that in the description of this embodiment, the same reference numerals are used for the same components as those described so far, and their descriptions are omitted.

[0080] In the wiring assembly 110 of this example, the structure of the sealing member 140 differs from that of the sealing member 40 in the wiring assembly 10 described above. The sealing member 140 is not divided into a first member 45 and a second member 46. Therefore, the sealing member 140 is not mounted to the wire 30 from the side, but rather the wire 30 is mounted by passing it through the hole 43. The wire 30 may pass through the sealing member 140 before its end is received in the connector housing 20. The wire 30 may pass through the sealing member 140 before a terminal T is provided at its end.

[0081] Furthermore, the sealing member 140 differs from the sealing member 40 in that it includes the insertion portion 141 and is shaped with the fitting portion 44 omitted. Because the fitting portion 44 is omitted, the sealing member 140 is not assembled to the connector housing 20 but to the wire 30. The outer surface of the plate-shaped portion 142 in the insertion portion 141 is formed to be equal to or smaller than the inner surface of the protective cover portion 26. Therefore, the insertion portion 141 can be accommodated inside the protective cover portion 26. The insertion portion 141 can also be formed larger than the protective cover portion 26, similar to the insertion portion 41, so that it can be hooked onto the outside of the protective cover portion 26. The outer surface of the plate-shaped portion 142 is formed larger than the cavity 21 and hooks onto the end face 24, thus preventing it from entering the interior of the cavity 21.

[0082] The length of the plate-shaped portion 142 along the axial direction of the hole 43 is larger than the protrusion of the shield portion 26 from the end face 24. Therefore, a portion of the other end of the wire 30 in the plate-shaped portion 142 protrudes outward from the shield portion 26. The length of the plate-shaped portion 142 along the axial direction of the hole 43 may also be equal to or less than the protrusion of the shield portion 26 from the end face 24.

[0083] [Variation Example]

[0084] Figure 7 This is a front view showing a modified example of the sealing component 40. Figure 8 This is an explanatory diagram showing the case where the resin molding part 50 is formed using the modified sealing member 240.

[0085] In the modified example, the sealing member 240 differs from the sealing member 40 at the point where the first member 45 and the second member 46 are connected by a hinge portion 49 to form an opening and closing mechanism. The hinge portion 49 is a thin-walled portion. The first member 45 and the second member 46 are rotatable at the position of the hinge portion 49.

[0086] Furthermore, the sealing member 240 differs from the sealing member 40 in that it lacks the locking portion 47 and the locking bearing portion 48. In this case, during the molding process, a portion of the outer periphery of the sealing member 240 is pressed by the mold 280. Therefore, even when the sealing member 240 includes the first member 45 and the second member 46 and the sealing member 240 lacks the locking portion 47 and the locking bearing portion 48, the sealing member 240 can be prevented from opening or deviating from its position along the length direction of the wire 30 during the molding process.

[0087] For example, mold 280 includes pins 84 for pressing the first component 45 and pins 84 for pressing the second component 46. During the molding of resin molding section 50, the first component 45 and the second component 46 are pressed in by pins 84. Pins 84 may also protrude from the upper mold 81 and the lower mold 82. Alternatively, pins 84 may be separately provided from the upper mold 81 and the lower mold 82, with holes provided in the upper mold 81 and the lower mold 82 for pins 84 to pass through. Wiring components manufactured in this way may retain traces of being pressed by mold 280 (pins 84). For example, during the molding process, the portion through which pins 84 pass may not be provided with resin molding section 50, and the sealing component 240 may be exposed. That is, holes for the first component 45 and the second component 46 reaching the sealing component 240 from the outer surface may also be formed in resin molding section 50.

[0088] The portion of the sealing component 240 pressed by the pin 84 can also be any portion. Figure 8 In the example shown, in the sealing member 240, the portion of the fitting portion 44 that covers the base end of the protruding portion 23 (the portion without the bulge 25) is pressed by the pin 84. However, in the sealing member 240, the portion of the fitting portion 44 that covers the bulge 25 may also be pressed by the pin 84, or the insertion portion 41 may be pressed by the pin 84.

[0089] Figure 9 This is a top view showing a modified example of wiring component 310. Figure 9 In the wiring component 310 of the illustrated variation, the wire 30 includes a bend 34. The bend 34 is located inside the resin molding portion 350. The resin molding portion 350 restricts the path of the wire 30 to a bent state. The portion of the resin molding portion 350 that covers the bend 34 serves as a bend restriction portion 52. The wire 30 extends from the connector housing 20 along a first direction that is the axial direction of the chamber 21. The wire 30 bends at the bend 34 located inside the resin molding portion 350. The portion of the wire 30 that extends beyond the bend 34 extends along a second direction that intersects the first direction.

[0090] The second direction can also be any direction. Figure 9In the example shown, the two wires 30 are planarly bent. That is, the portions of the two wires 30 extending along the first direction and the portions extending along the second direction are bent around an axis orthogonal to both the length direction and the parallel direction (along an axis orthogonal to the parallel direction). Figure 9 The two wires 30 can be bent in any direction. For example, they can be bent three-dimensionally. For example, the portions of the two wires 30 extending in the first direction and the portions extending in the second direction can also be bent around an axis parallel to the parallel directions (along a direction perpendicular to the plane of the paper). Figure 9 The axis extends in a direction parallel to the paper surface and is bent.

[0091] The angle of the curved portion 34 (the angle formed by the first direction and the second direction) can also be any angle. Figure 9 In the example shown, the angle of the bend 34 is 45 degrees, but it can be smaller or larger than 45 degrees.

[0092] exist Figure 9 In the example shown, the bend 34 is provided in the portion of the wire 30 extending from the sheath 32. Therefore, the sheath 32 is not bent. However, the bend 34 can also be provided in the portion of the wire 30 covered by the sheath 32. In this case, in the bend 34, the sheath 32 also bends along with the wire 30.

[0093] Furthermore, although the case of providing a protective cover portion 26 in the connector housing 20 has been described so far, this is not a necessary structure. The protective cover portion 26 can also be omitted from the connector housing 20. In this case, the insertion portion 41 can also contact the end face 24. Moreover, although the case of providing a protruding portion 25 in the connector housing 20 has been described so far, this is not a necessary structure. The protruding portion 25 can also be omitted from the connector housing 20. In this case, the sealing member 40 can also be moved towards the other end of the wire 30 before the molding process, just like the sealing member 40. Moreover, although the case of providing an extension portion 23 in the connector housing 20 has been described so far, this is not a necessary structure. The extension portion 23 can also be omitted from the connector housing 20. In this case, the resin molding portion 50 can also be formed to cover the rear end of the main body portion 22.

[0094] Furthermore, although the case where the sealing member 40 includes a insertion portion 41 with a hole 43 through which the power supply wire 30 passes has been described so far, this is not a necessary structure. The sealing member 40 may also include a comb-shaped insertion portion with a groove formed in the plate-shaped portion 42 through which the power supply wire 30 passes. For example, the member corresponding to the first member 45 or the second member 46 when the sealing member 140 of Embodiment 2 is divided into two may also be used individually as a sealing member. In this case, the groove of the insertion portion may be formed to be larger than a semicircle over a range greater than 180 degrees around the wire 30. Moreover, the sealing member including the comb-shaped insertion portion may be fitted to two wires 30. The two sealing members, each including the comb-shaped insertion portion, may also be fitted to the wires 30 at positions offset from each other along the length direction of the wires 30 and facing opposite directions.

[0095] Furthermore, although the case where the gate 83 in the mold 80 is located on the side opposite to the end of the wire 30 of the sealing member 40 has been described so far, this configuration is not mandatory. In the mold, the gate may also be located at the same position as the sealing member 40 or at a position on the side opposite to the end of the wire 30 of the sealing member 40. In this case, the gate mark in the resin molding section may also be provided at a position corresponding to the gate's location.

[0096] Furthermore, although the case where the surface of the sealing member 40 facing the connector housing 20 contacts the connector housing 20 has been described so far, this is not a necessary configuration. The surface of the sealing member 40 facing the connector housing 20 may also not contact the connector housing 20.

[0097] It should be noted that the structures described in the above embodiments and variations can be appropriately combined as long as they do not contradict each other. For example, the sealing member 40 of Embodiment 1 can also be divided into a first member 45 and a second member 46, as in the sealing member 40 of Embodiment 2. In this case, the protrusion 23 can be inserted into the interior of the fitting portion 44 from the end face 24 side. At this time, the opening of the fitting portion 44 allows the bulge 25 to pass through, and therefore it can elastically deform to expand outward. In this case, the outer surface of the bulge 25 is tapered and the outer surface of the shield 26 is formed to be smaller than the opening of the fitting portion 44. Therefore, the inner surface of the opening of the fitting portion 44 is directly inserted after contacting the outer surface of the shield 26, thereby the opening of the fitting portion 44 can easily and gradually widen elastically. Moreover, for example, the sealing member 40 of Embodiment 2 without the fitting portion 44 can also be divided into a first member 45 and a second member 46, as in the sealing member 40 of Embodiment 1.
