The footwear article according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the winglet includes a winglet length measured from the front edge of the winglet to the rear edge of the winglet; wherein the base includes a base length extending from the front edge of the base to the rear edge of the base; and wherein the winglet length is equal to or less than the base length.
5. The footwear article according to claim 4, wherein the length of the winglet is equal to or less than 75% of the length of the base.
6. The footwear article according to claim 4, wherein the length of the winglet is equal to or less than 50% of the length of the base.
