Abstract
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present application relates to a printing device that prints paperboard such as corrugated paperboard, a printing machine provided with the printing device, and a box making machine provided with the printing machine. BACKGROUND
[0002] A box making machine manufactures a case (corrugated paper box) by processing corrugated paperboard. The box making machine is composed of a paper feeding section, a printing section, a paper discharge section, a die cutting section, a folding section, a counting and discharging section, and the like. The paper feeding section feeds the corrugated paperboard stacked on a work table one by one and feeds it to the printing section at a certain speed. The printing section has a plurality of printing units that print the corrugated paperboard. The paper discharge section forms a grid line that becomes a folding line on the corrugated paperboard and cuts the end portion of the corrugated paperboard, and performs processing of a groove that becomes a folding edge and a glue sheet for joining. The die cutting section performs press processing such as a hand hole on the corrugated paperboard. The folding section manufactures a flat corrugated paper box by applying glue to the glue sheet of the corrugated paperboard, folding along the grid line, and joining the glue sheet. The counting and discharging section stacks the corrugated paper boxes and discharges them in batches of a specified number.
[0003] The printing section of the box making machine is capable of performing multi-color printing on the surface of the corrugated paperboard being conveyed. Therefore, in the printing section, a plurality of printing units are arranged in a straight line in the conveying direction of the corrugated paperboard. The structures of the plurality of printing units are almost the same. The printing unit has a printing cylinder, an ink supply roller, an ink supply section, and a backup roller. The printing cylinder has a printing plate mounted on the outer peripheral portion and is supported so as to be rotatable. The ink supply roller is supported so as to be rotatable and supplies ink of the ink supply section to the printing plate of the printing cylinder. The backup roller is arranged below the printing cylinder and holds the corrugated paperboard between the printing cylinder and the backup roller. Therefore, when the corrugated paperboard is conveyed between the printing cylinder and the backup roller, the ink of the printing plate is transferred to the surface of the corrugated paperboard to perform printing. As the box making machine provided with such a printing section, there is the box making machine described in Patent Literature 1.

[0045] The cutting head 34 and the slotting head 35 are provided with a plurality of (five in the present embodiment) heads arranged at specified intervals in the horizontal direction orthogonal to the conveyance direction D of the corrugated paperboard S, and are rotatable by a not-shown drive device. The cutting head 34 is composed of one head, is provided corresponding to the end portion in the width direction of the conveyed corrugated paperboard S, and cuts the end portion in the width direction of the corrugated paperboard S. The slotting head 35 is composed of four heads, is provided corresponding to specified positions in the width direction of the conveyed corrugated paperboard S, performs slotting processing at the specified positions on the corrugated paperboard S, and performs adhesive sheet processing.
[0046] The punching section 41 performs punching processing such as a hand hole on the corrugated paperboard S. The punching section 41 has an upper and lower pair of feed cylinders 42 and an anvil cylinder 43 and a blade cylinder 44. The feed cylinders 42 convey the corrugated paperboard S while sandwiching it from above and below, and are provided so as to be rotatable. The anvil cylinder 43 and the blade cylinder 44 are each formed in a circular shape, and are synchronously rotatable by a not-shown drive device. At this time, the anvil cylinder 43 is formed with an anvil on the outer peripheral portion, and the blade cylinder 44 is formed with a punch on the specified position of the outer peripheral portion.
[0047] The folding section 51 folds the corrugated paper S while moving it in the conveyance direction D, and joins the both end portions in the width direction to form a flat corrugated paper box B. The folding section 51 has an upper conveyance belt 52, a lower conveyance belt 53, and a forming belt 54. The upper conveyance belt 52, the lower conveyance belt 53, and the forming belt 54 convey the corrugated paper S and the corrugated paper box B while sandwiching them from above and below. [0049] <Printing Section>
[0050] The printing machine of the present application is applied to the printing section 21 of the box making machine 10, and the printing device of the present application is applied to the printing units 21A, 21B, 21C, 21D. Figure 2 is a side view showing the printing section of the present embodiment, Figure 3 is a plan view showing the printing section of the present embodiment.
[0051] In the present embodiment, as shown in Figure 2 and Figure 3 In the printing section 21, for example, four printing units 21A, 21B, 21C, 21D are arranged in the conveyance direction D. The four printing units 21A, 21B, 21C, 21D have almost the same structure. The printing units 21A, 21B, 21C, 21D have a printing cylinder 22, an ink supply roller 23, an ink supply section 24, and a support roller 25.
[0052] In the printing units 21A, 21B, 21C, 21D, the printing cylinders 22 are housed inside the housings 101. The housings 101 have a ceiling portion 101a disposed on the upper side in the vertical direction of the printing cylinders 22, and longitudinal wall portions 101b, 101c disposed on the upstream side and the downstream side in the conveying direction D among the printing cylinders 22. A printing cylinder operation opening portion 102 is provided in the ceiling portion 101a of the housing 101. The printing cylinder operation opening portion 102 is rectangular in shape, and the length in the conveying direction D is almost the same as the diameter of the printing cylinder 22, and the length in the width direction W is longer than the width of the plate 26 mounted to the printing cylinder 22. A first cover 103 capable of opening and closing the printing cylinder operation opening portion 102 is provided in the housing 101.
[0053] The first cover 103 covers the upper side in the vertical direction of the printing cylinder 22, and is capable of opening and closing the printing cylinder operation opening portion 102. That is, in the brackets 104A, 104B, 104C, 104D, the printing cylinder operation opening portion 102 is provided above the printing cylinder 22 constituting the printing unit 21A, 21B, 21C, 21D, and the first cover 103 is capable of opening and closing the printing cylinder operation opening portion 102. At this time, the first cover 103 is capable of opening upward and to the upstream side from the downstream side in the conveying direction D in the housing 101 using the upstream side in the conveying direction D in the housing 101 as a fulcrum.
[0054] In the printing units 21A, 21B, 21C, 21D, the brackets 104A, 104B, 104C, 104D are disposed on the downstream side in the conveying direction D. The ceiling portion 101a of the housing 101 and the first cover 103 are disposed on the upper side in the vertical direction than the brackets 104A, 104B, 104C, 104D. That is, there is a step between the first cover 103 and the brackets 104A, 104B, 104C, 104D. An operator is capable of opening and closing the first cover 103 on the upstream side in the conveying direction D from the brackets 104A, 104B, 104C, 104D.
[0055] A handrail 105 is provided in the ceiling portion 101a of the housing 101. The handrail 105 is disposed at the middle position in the width direction W on the upstream side in the conveying direction D in the ceiling portion 101a. A plate holding brush 106 is mounted to the handrail 105. The plate holding brush 106 is capable of holding the plate 26. In the bracket 104B, for example, a step 107 capable of being raised and lowered by an operator is disposed on one side in the width direction W, and a plate placement site 108 is disposed on the other side in the width direction W. The step 107 is used for the operator to move between the ground and the bracket 104B. The plate placement site 108 is used for temporarily placing the used plate 26 or the plate 26 to be used.
[0056] Further, although the step 107 is provided on one side in the width direction W of the holder 104B, it can be provided on the other side in the width direction W, and a plurality of steps can be provided on the other holders 104A, 104C, 104D, and the like. Further, although the plate placing place 108 is provided on the other side in the width direction W of the holder 104B, it can be provided on one side in the width direction W, and the plate placing place 108 can be provided at a position in the middle of the width direction W of the holders 104A, 104B, 104C, 104D, for example, as long as it is within a range that an operator can reach from the holders 104A, 104B, 104C, 104D, and it can be provided in the paper feeding section 11 or the paper discharge section 31.
[0057] <Printing unit>
[0058] Figure 4 is a schematic view of a printing unit, Figure 5 is a schematic view of a plate replacement operation of a printing unit. The structures of the printing units 21A, 21B, 21C, 21D are almost the same, and thus the printing unit 21A will be described below.
[0059] As shown in Figure 4 , the printing unit 21A has a printing cylinder 22, an ink supply roller 23, an ink supply section 24, and a backup roller 25. The printing cylinder 22 is housed inside the housing 101. The printing cylinder 22 is provided along the width direction W, and one end portion and the other end portion thereof are rotatably supported on a frame by bearings not shown. The printing cylinder 22 is rotatable by a driving device not shown. A plate 26 can be attached to and detached from the outer peripheral portion of the printing cylinder 22.
[0060] The ink supply roller 23 is provided on the downstream side in the conveyance direction D from the printing cylinder 22. The ink supply roller 23 can be butted against the plate 26 of the printing cylinder 22. The ink supply section 24 is provided on the downstream side in the conveyance direction D from the ink supply roller 23. The ink supply section 24 has an ink chamber, and can store ink supplied from the outside in the inside thereof. In the ink supply section 24, an opening portion of the ink chamber is in close contact with the outer peripheral surface of the ink supply roller 23 without a gap, and a part of the stored ink is supplied to the outer peripheral surface of the ink supply roller 23. The ink supply roller 23 and the ink supply section 24 are provided below the holder 104A. The backup roller 25 is provided below the printing cylinder 22, and can be butted against the printing cylinder 22.
[0061] Therefore, when the printing cylinder 22, the ink supply roller 23, and the backup roller 25 are rotated, the ink of the ink supply section 24 is supplied to the plate 26 of the printing cylinder 22 through the ink supply roller 23. Then, when the corrugated board S is conveyed while being sandwiched between the printing cylinder 22 and the backup roller 25, the ink of the plate 26 of the printing cylinder 22 is transferred to the surface of the corrugated board S to perform printing.
[0062] The printing cylinder 22 is capable of ascending and descending in the vertical direction. Axial one end and the other end of the printing cylinder 22 are rotatably supported on the frame by bearings. A lifting device not shown, for example, lifts the printing cylinder 22 by lifting each bearing. The printing cylinder 22 is capable of moving to a printing position and an operation position by the lifting device. The printing position of the printing cylinder 22 is a position which is abutted with the ink supply roller 23 and the backup roller 25 after descending. The operation position of the printing cylinder 22 is a position which is raised from the printing position so that various operations can be performed from the printing cylinder operation opening portion 102. The position capable of operation means, for example, a part of the outer peripheral surface of the printing cylinder 22 is exposed to the upper part of the stand 104A in the vertical direction. The various operations mean, for example, an installation operation, a removal operation, an adjustment operation of the installation position, and a cleaning operation of the plate 26 on the printing cylinder 22.
[0063] The second cover 122 capable of opening and closing the ink supply portion operation opening portion 121 is provided on the stand 104A. With respect to the housing 101, the first cover 103, the second cover 122, and the stand 104A, an operator can walk and stand thereon to perform various operations. Therefore, in order to ensure sufficient strength, a reinforcing portion is provided on the housing 101, the first cover 103, the second cover 122, and the stand 104A. The reinforcing portion is, for example, a reinforcing member such as a plurality of flange portions 111 fixed to the inner surface of the housing 101 and the stand 104A, or a plurality of flange portions 112 fixed to the inner surface of the first cover 103, or a plurality of flange portions 123 fixed to the inner surface of the second cover 122. Also, it is preferable that the housing 101, the first cover 103, the second cover 122, and the stand 104A use a sheet iron or a thickened sheet as the reinforcing portion to ensure sufficient strength.
[0064] The first cover 103 is capable of being opened and closed by the hand of an operator. The first cover 103 is rotatably supported on the housing 101 by a support shaft 113 in the width direction W. The support shaft 113 rotatably supporting the first cover 103 is located on the upstream side of the conveying direction D from the center of the printing cylinder 22. A gas pressure spring 114 is installed between the first cover 103 and the housing 101, for example. The gas pressure spring 114 applies a force to the opening direction of the first cover 103. Therefore, even if the first cover 103 is heavy, the operator is assisted by the force of the gas pressure spring 114 from the stand 104A, so that the first cover 103 can be opened by hand with a slight operation force.
[0065] The printing cylinder 22 is in the printing position during printing and rises to the operating position when printing is finished. Then, when the printing cylinder 22 is in the operating position, the operator opens the first cover 103 to change the printing plate 26. For safety reasons, a locking mechanism is provided to prevent the first cover 103 from opening during the operation of the printing cylinder 22. For example, when the printing cylinder 22 is in the printing position, the locking mechanism mechanically locks the first cover 103 into the housing 101. Furthermore, the locking mechanism electrically detects that the printing cylinder 22 is in the operating position and locks the first cover 103 into the housing 101. The second cover 122 will be described later.
[0066] like Figure 5 As shown, when the operator performs a plate change operation in printing unit 21A, they move to the support 104A. The operator climbs onto the support 104A and opens the first cover 103. The printing cylinder 22 rises from the printing position to the operating position, allowing the operator to access the printing cylinder 22 through the operating opening 102. The operator first holds the newly installed printing plate 26 on the printing plate holding brush 106. Next, the printing plate 26 installed on the printing cylinder 22 is removed, and the removed printing plate 26 is temporarily placed in the printing plate placement area 108 (see reference). Figure 3 Then, the printing plate 26, which is held in place by the printing plate holding brush 106, is wound around and mounted on the printing cylinder 22. When the printing plate 26 is mounted on the printing cylinder 22, the operator closes the operating opening 102 of the printing cylinder through the first cover 103.
[0067] Here, the operator holds the printing plate 26, which is held in place by the plate holding brush 106, and winds it onto the printing cylinder 22, but is not limited to this method of installation. For example, the operator may also place the printing plate 26 in a crumpled state under their feet without using the plate holding brush 106, and wind and install the crumpled printing plate 26 onto the printing cylinder 22.
[0068] like Figure 2 and Figure 3 As shown, after completing the plate changing operation for printing unit 21A, the operator performs plate changing operations for other printing units 21B. At this time, the operator uses the housing 101 and the first cover 103 as supports, moving from support 104A to support 104B. Then, the operator climbs onto support 104B to perform the plate changing operation for printing unit 21B. After completing the plate changing operation for printing unit 21B, the operator sequentially performs plate changing operations for printing units 21C and 21D. At this time, the operator uses the housing 101 and the first cover 103 as supports, moving from support 104B to support 104C and 104D sequentially to perform the operation.
[0069] <Example of a variation of a printing unit>
[0070] In addition, the structure of the printing units 21A, 21B, 21C, 21D or the plate replacement operation is not limited to the above. Figure 6 is a schematic view showing a first modification of the printing unit, Figure 7 is a schematic view showing a second modification of the printing unit.
[0071] In the first modification of the printing unit, as shown in Figure 6 , the printing unit 21A has a printing cylinder 22, an ink supply roller 23, an ink supply section 27, and a backup roller 25. The printing cylinder 22, the ink supply roller 23, and the backup roller 25 are the same as described above. The ink supply section 27 has an ink recovery tray 27a and an ink scraping roller 27b. Ink is supplied from an ink supply pipe 27c and stored above the abutting portion of the ink supply roller 23 and the ink scraping roller 27b. The ink stored in the abutting portion adheres to the outer peripheral surface of the ink supply roller 23. The ink flowing out from the end portions of the ink supply roller 23 and the ink scraping roller 27b is recovered by the ink recovery tray 27a and is supplied again. In addition, the ink supply roller 23 and the ink supply section 27 are disposed below the bracket 104A.
[0072] Therefore, when the printing cylinder 22, the ink supply roller 23, and the backup roller 25 rotate, the ink of the ink supply section 27 is supplied to the plate 26 of the printing cylinder 22 by the ink supply roller 23. Then, when the corrugated board S is conveyed while being sandwiched between the printing cylinder 22 and the backup roller 25, the ink of the plate 26 of the printing cylinder 22 is transferred to the surface of the corrugated board S and printing is performed.
[0073] In the second modification of the printing unit, as shown in Figure 2 , an inspection device is sometimes disposed above the bracket 104D on the downstream side of the conveying direction D in the printing unit 21D of the printing section 21. The inspection device is a device that inspects the quality of the pattern printed on the corrugated board S. If the inspection device is disposed above the bracket 104D, the operator may, for example, cause the line of sight of the camera of the inspection device to be blocked when performing the plate replacement operation of the printing unit 21D on the bracket 104D. In the second modification, the operator can perform the plate replacement operation of the printing unit 21D on the bracket 104C on the upstream side of the conveying direction D of the printing unit 21D.
[0074] As shown in Figure 7As shown, in printing unit 21D, printing cylinder 22 is housed inside housing 101. An operating opening 102 for the printing cylinder is provided on housing 101, which can be opened and closed via a first cover 103. The first cover 103 can be opened and closed by an operator's hand from bracket 104C. The first cover 103 is rotatably mounted on housing 101 via a support shaft 113 along the width direction W. The support shaft 113 that rotatably supports the first cover 103 is located downstream of the center of printing cylinder 22 in the transport direction D. Therefore, the operator can open the first cover 103 of printing unit 21D from bracket 104D.
[0075] <Examples of stent modifications>
[0076] Furthermore, the structures of stents 104A, 104B, 104C, and 104D are not limited to the structures described above. Figure 8 This is a schematic diagram showing a modified example of the support.
[0077] like Figure 8 As shown, the printing unit 21A includes a printing roller 22, an ink supply roller 23, an ink supply section 24, and a support roller 25. A bracket 104E is disposed above the printing unit 21A. The bracket 104E is horizontally arranged without steps along the conveying direction D and the width direction W of the printing unit 21A. The bracket 104E then functions as the housing of the printing unit 21A. Furthermore, the bracket 104E is assembled by connecting multiple bracket bodies arranged in a straight line for each of the printing units 21A, 21B, 21C, and 21D. However, the bracket 104E is not limited to this structure. For example, a bracket 104A can be provided as an integral unit for each of the printing units 21A, 21B, 21C, and 21D. Preferably, the bracket 104E is provided as a planar shape with a continuous upper surface without steps in each of the printing units 21A, 21B, 21C, and 21D.
[0078] The support 104E is provided with a first cover 103 capable of opening and closing the operating opening 102 for the printing cylinder. The first cover 103 covers the upper part of the printing cylinder 22 in the vertical direction and is capable of opening and closing the operating opening 102 for the printing cylinder. The first cover 103 can be opened from the downstream side of the support 104E in the conveying direction D, upward and upward, with the upstream side of the conveying direction D in the support 104E as a fulcrum. The printing cylinder 22 can be raised and lowered in the vertical direction. The printing cylinder 22 can be moved to the printing position and the operating position by means of a lifting device.
[0079] With respect to the first cover 103 and the support 104E, an operator can walk and stand thereon to perform various operations. Therefore, in order to ensure sufficient strength, reinforcing portions are provided on the first cover 103 and the support 104E. The reinforcing portions are, for example, reinforcing members such as a plurality of flange portions 111 fixed to the inner surface of the support 104E or a plurality of flange portions 112 fixed to the inner surface of the first cover 103. In addition, the structure of the opening and closing mechanism of the first cover 103 is the same as that described above. Also, the plate changing operation of the printing unit 21A is the same as that described above.
[0080] <First Cover Modification Example>
[0081] Also, the structure of the first cover 103 is not limited to that described above. Figure 9 is a schematic view showing a modification example of the first cover.
[0082] As shown in Figure 9 , in the support 104E whose upper surface is flat, the first cover 103 can open and close the printing cylinder operation opening portion 102. The first cover 103 is rotatably supported on the support 104E by support shafts 113a, 113b in the width direction W on the upstream side and the downstream side of the conveyance direction D. At this time, the support shafts 113a, 113b of the first cover 103 can be engaged and disengaged by hooks (not shown) provided on the support 104E, for example. When an operator desires to open the first cover 103 upward from the support shaft 113b side, the hook on the support shaft 113b side is disengaged, and the first cover 103 is rotated upward about the support shaft 113a. On the other hand, when an operator desires to open the first cover 103 upward from the support shaft 113a side, the hook on the support shaft 113a side is disengaged, and the first cover 103 is rotated upward about the support shaft 113b.
[0083] When an operator performs the plate changing operation of the printing unit 21A, the support 104E is moved between the printing unit 21A and the printing unit 21B. The operator gets on the support 104E and opens the first cover 103 of the printing unit 21A on the upstream side of the conveyance direction D. Here, the operator opens the first cover 103 upward about the support shaft 113a and performs the plate changing operation through the printing cylinder operation opening portion 102. After completing the plate changing operation of the printing unit 21A, the operator closes the printing cylinder operation opening portion 102 with the first cover 103.
[0084] When the plate changing operation of the printing unit 21A is performed, the operator turns around and faces the printing unit 21B side. The operator opens the 1st cover 103 of the printing unit 21B on the downstream side of the transfer direction D in a state of standing on the support 104E. Here, the operator opens the 1st cover 103 upward with the support shaft 113b as a fulcrum, and performs the plate changing operation through the printing cylinder operation opening portion 102. After the plate changing operation of the printing unit 21B is completed, the operator closes the printing cylinder operation opening portion 102 with the 1st cover 103.
[0085] <Ink supply unit>
[0086] Here, the ink supply unit 24 will be described in detail. Figure 10 is a detailed view of the printing unit, Figure 11 is a plan view of the ink supply unit of the printing unit, Figure 12 is a side view of the ink supply unit of the printing unit, Figure 13 to Figure 15 is a schematic view of a maintenance operation of the ink supply unit.
[0087] As shown in Figure 4 and Figure 10 , the printing unit 21A has a printing cylinder 22, an ink supply roller 23, an ink supply unit 24, and a support roller 25. The printing cylinder 22 is housed inside the housing 101. In the housing 101, the 1st cover 103 that can open and close the printing cylinder operation opening portion 102 is provided. The ink supply roller 23 and the ink supply unit 24 are disposed below the support 104A. On the support 104A, the ink supply unit operation opening portion 121 provided above the ink supply unit 24 and the 2nd cover 122 that can open and close the ink supply unit operation opening portion 121 are provided. The 2nd cover 122 can be opened and closed by the operator's hand. In addition, in Figure 10 , the illustrations of the flange portions 111, 112, and 123 are omitted.
[0088] The ink supply unit 24 can be moved to a printing position that is in contact with the ink supply roller 23 and an operation position that can be operated from the ink supply unit operation opening portion 121, in which case the ink supply unit 24 can be moved to a storage position and an exposed position that is one of the operation positions. Here, the storage position refers to a position where the ink supply unit 24 is disposed below the support 104A. The exposed position refers to a position where the ink supply unit 24 is moved to above the support 104A in the vertical direction, and at least a part of the ink supply unit 24 is exposed to the upper side through the ink supply unit operation opening portion 121.
[0089] The ink supply section 24 has an ink chamber 131 and an air cylinder 132. The ink chamber 131 supplies the stored ink to the ink roller 23. The air cylinder 132 is movable to an ink supply position at which the ink chamber 131 is brought into close contact with the ink roller 23 and a retreat position at which the ink chamber 131 is separated from the ink roller 23. The end portion of the ink supply section 24 is rotatably supported on the housing 101, which will be described later. Thus, the storage position is a position at which the ink chamber 131 of the ink supply section 24 is in a horizontal direction (i.e., not toward the ink supply section operation opening portion 121 side). Then, the exposure position is a position at which the ink chamber 131 of the ink supply section 24 is rotated upward from the storage position to be directed upward in the vertical direction, i.e., toward the ink supply section operation opening portion 121 side.
[0090] In addition, the air cylinder 132 is not only movable to the ink supply position at which the ink chamber 131 is brought into close contact with the ink roller 23 and the retreat position at which the ink chamber 131 is separated from the ink roller 23. The air cylinder 132 is movable to a maintenance position at which the ink chamber 131 is directed upward in the vertical direction from the retreat position, which will be described later. Also, the air cylinder 132 applies a proper pressurizing force with the ink chamber 131 in close contact with the ink roller 23.
[0091] Also, in the ink supply section 24, the ink chamber 131 is movable to the exposure position and the maintenance position. Here, the exposure position of the ink chamber 131 means that the ink chamber 131 is maintained in the retreat position when the ink supply section 24 is in the aforementioned exposure position. Also, the maintenance position of the ink chamber 131 means a position at which at least a portion of the ink chamber 131 is disposed upward in the vertical direction from the bracket 104A. That is, the maintenance position means a position at which the ink chamber 131 is directed toward the ink supply section operation opening portion 121 and at least a portion of the ink chamber 131 is disposed upward in the vertical direction from the bracket 104A. Specifically, when the ink supply section 24 is in the exposure position in which the ink supply section 24 is rotated upward, the ink chamber 131 is movable from the retreat position to the maintenance position directed upward in the vertical direction by operating the air cylinder 132. In addition, the air cylinder 132 can change the stroke when the ink chamber 131 is moved from the retreat position to the ink supply position and the stroke when the ink chamber 131 is moved from the exposure position to the maintenance position. At this time, the stroke when the ink chamber 131 is moved from the exposure position to the maintenance position can be set to be longer than the stroke when the ink chamber 131 is moved from the retreat position to the ink supply position. Thus, the maintenance position of the ink chamber 131 becomes a position close to the operator, and thus the maintenance and the like of the ink chamber 131 are easily performed.
[0092] As Figure 11 and Figure 12As shown, a pair of support shafts 141 on both sides of the width direction W are fixed to the frame along the width direction W. Furthermore, a pair of base plates 142 on both sides of the width direction W are arranged vertically. Support holes 143 along the width direction W are formed in the base plates 142, and bottomed support cylinders 144 are fixed at the positions of the support holes 143 along the width direction W. Each support shaft 141 is fitted into the support cylinder 144 from the outside of the width direction W through the support holes 143. Therefore, the base plates 142 are supported so that they can rotate freely up and down about the support shafts 141 along the width direction W. In addition, a clamp insertion cylinder 146 for inserting a clamp 145 is fixed to the support cylinder 144.
[0093] A guide hole 147 extending through the width direction W is formed on the base plate 142 along the conveying direction D. A slide plate 148 is positioned close to the base plate 142 and is fixed with a guide shaft 149 extending along the width direction W. The guide shaft 149 is inserted into the guide hole 147 of the base plate 142 on the slide plate 148. A cylinder 132 is positioned along the conveying direction D, and its base end is connected to the upper part of the base plate 142 via a connecting shaft 150. The front end of the drive rod 132a of the cylinder 132 is connected to the slide plate 148 via a connecting member 151 extending vertically. The slide plate 148 is connected to the end of the ink chamber 131 along its length direction (width direction W) via the connecting member 152. Therefore, when the cylinder 132 is driven, the slide plate 148 can be moved relative to the base plate 142 along the guide hole 147, and the ink chamber 131 can be moved in the same direction.
[0094] Therefore, as Figure 10 As shown, when the ink supply unit 24 is in its retracted position below the bracket 104A, the ink chamber 131 is in close contact with the outer peripheral surface of the ink supply roller 23, enabling the supply of ink to the ink supply roller 23. Operators need to maintain the ink supply unit 24 regularly. Maintenance includes cleaning the ink adhering to the ink chamber 131, checking for wear and replacing the sealing blades, scrapers, or end seals installed around the opening.
[0095] When the operator maintains the ink supply unit 24, the ink supply unit 24 is rotated from the storage position to the exposed position, and then the ink chamber 131 is moved from the retracted position to the maintenance position. That is, as follows: Figure 13 As shown, the operator climbs onto the bracket 104A or the housing 101 (reference). Figure 7 First, the ink is cleaned and recovered. Then, cylinder 132 is activated to retract drive rod 132a, thereby moving ink chamber 131 via slide plate 148. Thus, ink chamber 131 moves from an ink supply position close to ink supply roller 23 to a retracted position separated from ink supply roller 23. Next, the second cover 122 is opened manually. Then, the operator inserts the front end of clamp 145 into clamp insertion cylinder 146.
[0096] likeFigure 14 As shown, the operator rotates the ink supply section 24 together with the base plate 142 from the storage position to the exposed position by the jig 145. That is, by rotating the ink supply section 24 only by the angle θ, the ink supply section 24 is moved upward in the vertical direction more than the bracket 104A, and at least a part of the ink supply section 24 is exposed to the outside through the ink supply section operation opening portion 121. At this time, the cylinder 132 and the ink chamber 131 of the ink supply section 24 are rotated in a state where the above-described retreat position is maintained. As shown in FIG. 6, the operator then operates the cylinder 132 to extend the drive rod 132a, and thereby moves the ink chamber 131 via the slide plate 148. As a result, the ink chamber 131 is moved to the obliquely upward maintenance position. At this time, the operator performs maintenance of the ink chamber 131. At this time, the operator can also detach the ink chamber 131 from the link member 152 of the slide plate 148 as needed and perform various operations. Figure 15 As shown, the operator then operates the cylinder 132 to extend the drive rod 132a, and thereby moves the ink chamber 131 via the slide plate 148. As a result, the ink chamber 131 is moved to the obliquely upward maintenance position. At this time, the operator performs maintenance of the ink chamber 131. At this time, the operator can also detach the ink chamber 131 from the link member 152 of the slide plate 148 as needed and perform various operations.
[0097] In the above description, maintenance is performed in a state where the ink supply section 24 is rotated from the storage position to the exposed position and the ink chamber 131 is moved from the retreat position to the maintenance position, but is not limited to this maintenance method. The operator can also perform maintenance in a state where the ink supply section 24 is rotated from the storage position to the exposed position and the ink chamber 131 is maintained in the retreat position. That is, maintenance can also be performed while the ink chamber 131 is located in the exposed position.
[0098] Therefore, as long as the operator can perform maintenance, it is not necessary to move the ink chamber 131 from the retreat position to the maintenance position. That is, maintenance can also be performed without operating the cylinder 132.
[0099] When the maintenance of the ink chamber 131 is completed, the cylinder 132 is operated to contract the drive rod 132a, and thereby the ink chamber 131 is moved from the maintenance position to the retreat position via the slide plate 148. That is, the cylinder 132 and the ink chamber 131 are returned to a state where the above-described retreat position is maintained. Next, the operator rotates the ink supply section 24 from the exposed position to the storage position. Then, the front end portion of the jig 145 is pulled out from the jig insertion cylinder 146, and the ink supply section operation opening portion 121 is closed by the second cover 122.
[0100] <Variations of the Ink Supply Section>
[0101] In addition, the ink supply section 24 is not limited to the above-described structure. Figure 16 is a side view showing a first variation of the ink supply section, Figure 17 is a schematic view showing an operating state of the ink supply section, Figure 18 is a side view showing a second variation of the ink supply section, Figure 19 is a schematic view showing an operating state of the ink supply section, Figure 20 is a side view showing a third variation of the ink supply section, Figure 21is a diagram showing the working state of the ink supply section.
[0102] In the first modification, as shown in Figure 16 and Figure 17 , the ink supply section 24A is movable to a storage position arranged below the bracket 104A and an exposed position in which at least a part thereof is moved above the bracket 104A in the vertical direction and exposed to the outside through the ink supply section operation opening 121. Further, the ink chamber 131 is movable from the exposed position (retracted position) to a maintenance position in which at least a part thereof is arranged above the bracket 104A in the vertical direction by operating the cylinder 132. In addition, the detailed structure of the ink supply section 24A is almost the same as that of the above-described ink supply section 24, and thus the description thereof is omitted.
[0103] In the ink supply section 24A, one end portion of the bottom plate 142 is rotatably supported on a support shaft 141 fixed to a frame (not shown). A handle 161 protruding upward is fixed to the other end portion of the bottom plate 142. An operator on the bracket 104A can hold the handle 161 through the ink supply section operation opening 121. Further, one end portion of a link rod 162 is rotatably supported by the support shaft 141 and fixed to the bottom plate 142. A gas spring 163 is supported by the frame, and a front end portion of a telescopic rod 163a is connected to the other end portion of the link rod 162. The gas spring 163 applies a force in the upward direction of the ink supply section 24A via the bottom plate 142.
[0104] Therefore, when the operator maintains the ink supply section 24A, first, the cylinder 132 is operated to move the ink chamber 131 from the ink supply position to the retracted position. Next, the second cover 122 is opened by hand (refer to Figure 10 ). Then, the operator holds the handle 161 by hand and lifts it upward. As a result, the ink supply section 24A is rotated from the storage position to the exposed position, and is positioned above the bracket 104A, and at least a part of the ink supply section 24A is exposed to the outside through the ink supply section operation opening 121. At this time, even if the ink supply section 24A is heavy, the operator can lift the ink supply section 24A by hand with a slight operation force because the operator is assisted by the force of the gas spring 163 from the bracket 104A.
[0105] Then, the operator operates the cylinder 132 to move the ink chamber 131 from the retracted position to the maintenance position. At this time, the operator performs maintenance of the ink chamber 131. When the maintenance of the ink chamber 131 is completed, the ink chamber 131 is moved from the maintenance position to the retracted position. Then, the operator holds the handle 161 to rotate the ink supply section 24B from the exposed position to the storage position, and closes the ink supply section operation opening 121 by the second cover 122.
[0106] In the second modification, as shown in Figure 18 andFigure 19 As shown, the ink supply unit 24B is supported by a support shaft 141 fixed to a frame (not shown) at one end of the base plate 142, allowing it to rotate freely up and down. One end of the connecting rod 171 is supported by the support shaft 141, allowing it to rotate freely and is fixed to the base plate 142. The cylinder 172 is supported by the frame, and the front end of the drive rod 172a is connected to the other end of the connecting rod 171.
[0107] Therefore, when the operator maintains the ink supply unit 24B, first, the cylinder 132 is activated to move the ink chamber 131 from the ink supply position to the retracted position. Next, the second cover 122 is opened manually (see reference). Figure 10 Then, the operator operates cylinder 172 to extend drive rod 172a. As a result, ink supply unit 24B rotates from its stored position to its exposed position, positioned higher than bracket 104A, with at least a portion of ink supply unit 24B exposed to the outside through operating opening 121. At this point, even if ink supply unit 24B is heavy, it can be easily lifted by operating cylinder 132.
[0108] In the third variation, such as Figure 20 and Figure 21 As shown, on one side of the ink supply unit 24C, a vertical guide rail 181 is fixed to a frame (not shown). A vertical guide member 182 is fixed to one end of the base plate 142. The vertical guide member 182 is movably supported on the guide rail 181. The cylinder 183 is supported by the frame, and the front end of the drive rod 183a is connected to the lower part of the base plate 142.
[0109] Therefore, when the operator maintains the ink supply unit 24C, first, the cylinder 132 is activated to move the ink chamber 131 from the ink supply position to the retracted position. Next, the second cover 122 is opened manually (see reference). Figure 10 Then, the operator operates cylinder 183 to extend drive rod 183a. As a result, ink supply unit 24C rises from its stored position to its exposed position, positioned above bracket 104A, with at least a portion of ink supply unit 24C exposed to the outside through operating opening 121. At this point, even if ink supply unit 24C is heavy, it can be easily lifted by operating cylinder 183. Furthermore, although not shown, a known lifting device, such as a rack and pinion, can be provided in cylinder 132.
[0110] In addition, such as Figure 8 As shown, even when a flat bracket 104E is used, an ink supply unit operation opening 121 is provided on the bracket 104E above the ink supply unit 24, and a second cover 122 is provided to open and close the ink supply unit operation opening 121. To ensure sufficient strength, a plurality of flanges 123 are fixed on the second cover 122 as reinforcement.
[0111] The ink supply unit 24 can be moved to a printing position where it mates with the ink supply roller 23 and to an operating position where it can be operated from the ink supply unit operating opening 121. In this case, the ink supply unit 24 can be moved to a storage position and an exposed position, which is one of the operating positions. When the operator maintains the ink supply unit 24, the second cover 122 is opened. Then, the ink supply unit 24 is moved from the storage position to the exposed position, so that it is positioned above the support 104E, and at least a portion of the ink supply unit 24 is exposed to the outside through the ink supply unit operating opening 121 (see reference). Figure 14 , Figure 17 , Figure 19 , Figure 21 Then, the operator will move ink chamber 131 (reference). Figure 15 The ink chamber 131 is moved from the retracted position to the maintenance position for maintenance. Furthermore, the structure for moving the ink supply unit 24 to the printing position where it aligns with the ink supply roller 23 and to the operating position where it can be operated from the ink supply unit via the operating opening 121 is the same as in the above embodiment, therefore, description is omitted.
[0112] [Effects of this implementation method]
[0113] The printing apparatus according to the first method includes: a printing cylinder 22 capable of mounting a printing plate 26; an ink supply roller 23 disposed on the upstream or downstream side of the printing cylinder 22 in the conveying direction D and capable of docking with the printing cylinder 22; ink supply units 24 and 27 capable of supplying ink to the ink supply roller 23; a first cover 103 covering the vertical upper part of the printing cylinder 22 and capable of being opened and closed; and supports 104A, 104B, 104C, 104D, and 104E covering the vertical upper part of the ink supply roller 23 to enable operation by an operator.
[0114] According to the printing apparatus of the first method, by providing a first cover 103 covering the top of the printing cylinder 22 and making the first cover 103 openable and closable, operations such as changing the printing plate 26 of the printing cylinder 22 can be easily performed. Furthermore, by arranging the ink supply rollers 23 below the supports 104A, 104B, 104C, 104D, and 104E, the overall length of the printing section 21 can be shortened, enabling miniaturization of the apparatus.
[0115] Regarding the printing apparatus according to the second method, an operating opening 102 for the printing cylinder is provided above the printing cylinder 22 of the supports 104A, 104B, 104C, 104D, and 104E in the vertical direction, and the first cover 103 can open and close the operating opening 102 for the printing cylinder. This improves operability, such as the operation of changing the printing plate 26 on the printing cylinder 22.
[0116] As for the printing device according to the third aspect, a reinforced portion through which an operator can walk is provided on the supports 104A, 104B, 104C, 104D, 104E and the first cover 103. Thus, the operator can walk on the supports 104A, 104B, 104C, 104D, 104E and the first cover 103, and the operability of the plate changing operation and the like for the plurality of printing units 21A, 21B, 21C, 21D can be improved.
[0117] In the printing device according to the fourth aspect, the housing 101 covering the upper side in the vertical direction of the printing cylinder 22 and the upstream side and the downstream side in the conveying direction D is provided, the printing cylinder operation opening portion 102 is provided in the upper portion of the housing 101, and the first cover 103 is capable of opening and closing the printing cylinder operation opening portion 102. Thus, the printing cylinder 22 is arranged inside the housing 101, and the printing cylinder operation opening portion 102 provided in the upper portion of the housing 101 is capable of being opened and closed by the first cover 103, the printing cylinder 22 can be efficiently arranged, and the operability of the plate changing operation and the like for the plate 26 of the printing cylinder 22 can be improved.
[0118] As for the printing device according to the fifth aspect, a reinforced portion through which an operator can walk is provided in the upper portion of the housing 101 and the first cover 103. Thus, the operator can move between the supports 104A, 104B, 104C, 104D by walking on the first cover 103, and the operability of the plate changing operation and the like for the plurality of printing units 21A, 21B, 21C, 21D can be improved.
[0119] As for the printing device according to the sixth aspect, the first cover 103 is arranged on the upper side in the vertical direction than the supports 104A, 104B, 104C, 104D. Thus, the operator who gets on the supports 104A, 104B, 104C, 104D opens the first cover 103 of the position higher than the supports 104A, 104B, 104C, 104D to perform the plate changing operation and the like, and the operability can be improved.
[0120] As for the printing device according to the seventh aspect, the printing cylinder 22 is supported so as to be movable to a printing position at which the inking roller 23 is butted and to an operation position from which the printing cylinder 22 can be operated from the printing cylinder operation opening portion 102 by being raised from the printing position. Thus, by raising the printing cylinder 22 from the printing position, the operator can approach the printing cylinder 22 from this position, and the operability of the plate changing operation and the like can be improved.

The ink supply section 24 can be positioned below the supports 104A, 104B, 104C, 104D, and 104E, rather than above the supports 104A, 104B, 104C, 104D, and 104E, and at least a part of the ink supply section 24 can be exposed to the outside through the ink supply section operation opening 121, as long as the operator can perform the operation from the ink supply section operation opening 121.
[0133] Figure 22is a schematic view of a modification indicating the working state of the ink supply section.
[0134] For example, as shown in Figure 22 the ink supply section 24 (the ink chamber 131) is first moved from the printing position (the ink supply position where the ink chamber 131 is pressed against the ink roller 23 by a prescribed pressing force) to a retreat position where at least the ink chamber 131 is separated from the ink roller 23, further downward than the support. Next, the above-described embodiment is applied to rotate the ink supply section 24 to a position where the ink chamber 131 faces upward in the vertical direction, that is, the side of the operation opening 121 for the ink supply section. At this time, the state where the ink chamber 131 faces the side of the operation opening 121 for the ink supply section is the operation position. Further, in Figure 22 , the three moving positions of the ink supply section 24 are shown by double-dot chain lines. That is, as long as the ink chamber 131 faces the side of the operation opening 121 for the ink supply section, the position where the ink supply section 24 is rotated is not limited. Thus, since the ink chamber 131 faces the side of the operation opening 121 for the ink supply section, the operator can perform the operation from the operation opening 121 for the ink supply section even if the ink supply section 24 is located further downward than the support.
