CuZnAl-LDO / CeO2 catalyst, preparation method and application thereof

A CuZnAl-LDO/CeO2 catalyst was prepared by combining CeO2 with CuZnAl-LDH via a supercritical hydrothermal method. This solved the problems of CeO2 nanoparticle agglomeration and high cost of noble metal-based materials, and achieved efficient photothermal catalytic reduction of CO2 and highly selective conversion of CO.

Abstract

This invention provides a CuZnAl-LDO / CeO2 catalyst, its preparation method, and its application, belonging to the field of nanomaterial preparation technology. A method for preparing the CuZnAl-LDO / CeO2 catalyst includes the following steps: dispersing zinc, copper, and aluminum sources in water and mixing them uniformly to obtain a mixed solution; mixing the mixed solution with ammonia water for a co-precipitation reaction; washing after the reaction to obtain a ternary LDH precursor solution; subjecting the ternary LDH precursor solution to a supercritical hydrothermal reaction with an alkaline solution containing Ce ions; during the reaction, the oxidation of LDH itself yields LDO sheets, and the structure of CeO2 nanoparticles attached to the LDO sheets constitutes the CuZnAl-LDO / CeO2 catalyst. This invention loads Ce onto the LDO support, increasing the number of active sites; the synergistic effect of CeO2 and LDO improves the catalytic performance.
