[0089] Based on the above-mentioned terminal device hardware structure and communication network system, various implementations of this application are proposed.

[0090] To facilitate understanding of the solution provided in the embodiments of the present application, the following describes Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) feedback:

[0091] HARQ is a technology that combines Forward Error Correction (FEC) and Automatic Repeat Request (ARQ), and uses ACK / NACK messages for feedback. HARQ technology is resistant to interference and fading, and can improve system throughput (efficiency) and data transmission reliability. However, it can also cause HARQ congestion (HARQ stalling) due to large propagation delays, and increase the power consumption and transmission delay of terminal devices. Disabling HARQ feedback can help improve the power consumption and transmission delay of terminal devices, but it can also reduce the reliability of data transmission. Therefore, how to reasonably disable HARQ feedback is an issue that needs to be resolved.

[0092] Based on the above description, in order to reasonably disable HARQ feedback, improve transmission efficiency, and ensure transmission reliability, the present application provides a control method, a communication device, and a storage medium. The control method, communication device, and storage medium provided in the embodiments of the present application are further described in detail below.

[0093] FIG3 is a flow chart of a control method provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in FIG3 , the control method includes the following step S301. The method shown in FIG3 may be performed by a terminal device. Alternatively, the method shown in FIG3 may be performed by a chip in the terminal device. FIG3 illustrates the method using a terminal device as an example.

[0094] S301. The terminal device determines whether to disable HARQ feedback based on a first parameter.

[0095] In the embodiments of the present application, the first parameter may be sent by a network device or other associated device, or may be specified by a protocol, and is not limited here. If the first parameter is sent by a network device or other associated device, this helps improve the flexibility of the first parameter; if the first parameter is specified by a protocol, this helps improve the efficiency of the terminal device in determining whether to enable HARQ feedback. Based on the first parameter, the terminal device can reasonably disable HARQ feedback to improve transmission efficiency while ensuring transmission reliability.

[0096] In one possible implementation, the first parameter includes at least one of the following: a repetition threshold value and an offset threshold value. Alternatively, the first parameter may be another parameter, such as indicating the HARQ feedback status of each HARQ process, etc., which is not limited herein. For example, the first parameter includes a repetition threshold value, such as 16. For another example, the first parameter includes an offset threshold value, such as 400 ms.

[0097] (1) The first parameter is the repetition number threshold.

[0098] Optionally, the repetition number threshold is the repetition number threshold of the NPDSCH corresponding to the HARQ feedback.

[0099] It should be noted that when the network device schedules the narrow-band physical downlink shared channel (NPDSCH), it can ensure the coverage of the terminal device by increasing the NPDSCH repetition (NPDSCH repetition). The NPDSCH repetition here can be considered as a downlink retransmission. The terminal device ensures the reliability of the downlink transmission by merging the demodulations of each NPDSCH repetition. Under the same channel conditions, the higher the number of repetitions, the better the reliability. Therefore, when the number of NPDSCH repetitions reaches the preset threshold value, it can be considered that the reliability of the data transmission at this time has been guaranteed, then at this time, the HARQ feedback can be disabled to improve the transmission efficiency. In other words, the terminal device can determine whether to enable HARQ feedback based on the repetition threshold value.

[0100] Optionally, the repetition number threshold is a repetition number threshold corresponding to the coverage level that the terminal device is in. It should be noted that the reliability of channel transmission is different for different coverage levels of terminal devices, and therefore the repetition number threshold that needs to be set will also be different.

[0101] For example, as shown in Table 1, when the coverage level of the terminal device is 0, the repetition threshold is 4 times; when the coverage level of the terminal device is 1, the repetition threshold is 8 times; when the coverage level of the terminal device is 2, the repetition threshold is 16 times.

[0102] Table 1

[0103] The coverage level repetition threshold of the terminal device is 04 times 18 times 216 times

[0104] (2) The first parameter is the offset threshold value.

[0105] Optionally, the offset threshold is a threshold of the offset of the original scheduling timing.

[0106] It should be noted that HARQ stalling in non-terrestrial networks is mainly caused by large propagation delays, which is specifically reflected in the offset of the original scheduling timing, namely Koffset. The network device will send a cell-level specific offset (CellSpecificKoffset) through the System Information Block (SIB), which can be considered as the initial scheduling offset and is effective for all terminal devices. After the terminal device subsequently reports the TA report (i.e., TA report), the network device will send a differential offset (DifferentialKoffset) through MAC CE signaling to adjust the initial scheduling offset and obtain the offset of the original scheduling timing of the terminal device, i.e., formula (1):

[0107] Koffset=CellSpecificKoffset-DifferentialKoffset (1)

[0108] When Koffset is large, it significantly impacts terminal device scheduling and increases transmission latency. Therefore, to ensure terminal device scheduling, when the offset from the original scheduling sequence reaches a preset threshold, HARQ feedback can be disabled to ensure transmission efficiency. In other words, the terminal device can determine whether to disable HARQ feedback based on the threshold value of the offset from the original scheduling sequence.

[0109] In one possible implementation, the method further includes: the terminal device receiving first information indicating the first parameter. It should be noted that the first parameter may be carried in the first information, and the network device or other associated device may transmit the first information to the terminal device so that the terminal device obtains the first parameter. This approach facilitates increased flexibility of the first parameter.

[0110] Optionally, the first information is carried in radio resource control (RRC) signaling or media access control control element (MAC CE) signaling.

[0111] In one possible implementation, the first parameter includes a repetition threshold value. When the terminal device determines whether to enable HARQ feedback based on the first parameter, the specific implementation method may be: if the number of repetitions of the NPDSCH corresponding to the HARQ feedback is greater than or equal to the repetition threshold value, the terminal device disables the HARQ feedback.

[0112] For example, as shown in Figure 4a, k0 represents the offset between the NPUSCH start subframe carrying HARQ feedback and the corresponding NPDSCH end subframe in the terrestrial network (TN). Assuming that the number of repetitions of the NPDSCH corresponding to the HARQ feedback is 8 times, after the NPDSCH transmission is completed, after the offset of k0, the terminal device performs HARQ-ACK / NACK feedback based on the NPDSCH demodulation result.

[0113] As shown in Figure 4b, compared with the terrestrial network, the HARQ stalling in the non-terrestrial network is mainly caused by the larger propagation delay, which is specifically reflected in the offset (Koffset) of the original scheduling timing. Assuming that the number of repetitions of the NPDSCH corresponding to the HARQ feedback is 8 times, the terminal device obtains the repetition threshold indicated by the first parameter as 16 times. Since the number of repetitions of the NPDSCH corresponding to the HARQ feedback is less than the repetition threshold, the terminal device enables the HARQ feedback. That is, after the NPDSCH transmission is completed, after an offset of k0+Koffset, the terminal device performs HARQ-ACK / NACK feedback based on the NPDSCH demodulation result.

[0114] As shown in Figure 4c, in a non-terrestrial network, assuming that the number of repetitions of the NPDSCH corresponding to the HARQ feedback is 16 times, the terminal device obtains the repetition threshold indicated by the first parameter as 16 times. Since the number of repetitions of the NPDSCH corresponding to the HARQ feedback is equal to the repetition threshold, the terminal device disables the HARQ feedback, that is, after the NPDSCH transmission is completed, the terminal device does not perform HARQ-ACK / NACK feedback.

[0115] In one possible implementation, the first parameter includes an offset threshold value. When the terminal device determines whether to enable HARQ feedback based on the first parameter, the specific implementation method may be: if the offset of the original scheduling timing corresponding to the HARQ feedback is greater than or equal to the offset threshold value, the terminal device disables the HARQ feedback.

[0116] For example, as shown in Figure 4d, in a non-terrestrial network, assuming that the number of repetitions of the NPDSCH corresponding to the HARQ feedback is 8 times, the offset of the original scheduling timing corresponding to the HARQ feedback is 300ms, and the terminal device obtains the offset threshold indicated by the first parameter as 400ms. Since the offset of the original scheduling timing corresponding to the HARQ feedback is less than the offset threshold, the terminal device enables the HARQ feedback. That is, after the NPDSCH transmission is completed, the terminal device performs HARQ-ACK / NACK feedback based on the NPDSCH demodulation result.

[0117] As shown in Figure 4e, in a non-terrestrial network, assuming that the number of repetitions of the NPDSCH corresponding to the HARQ feedback is 8 times, the offset of the original scheduling timing corresponding to the HARQ feedback is 1023ms, and the terminal device obtains the offset threshold indicated by the first parameter as 400ms. Since the offset of the original scheduling timing corresponding to the HARQ feedback is greater than the offset threshold, the terminal device disables the HARQ feedback. That is, after the NPDSCH transmission is completed, the terminal device does not perform HARQ-ACK / NACK feedback.

[0118] In one possible implementation, the first parameter includes the repetition threshold value, and the method further includes: the terminal device receives downlink control information (DCI) for scheduling the NPDSCH corresponding to the HARQ feedback, and the DCI includes a repetition compensation value; based on the repetition compensation value (delta), the repetition number of the NPDSCH is adjusted. Optionally, the repetition compensation value can be a positive value or a negative value. In this way, the reliability of the transmission can be improved or the transmission efficiency can be improved. Specifically, the repetition number of the NPDSCH can be adjusted by formula (2):

[0119] NPDSCH repetition times = NPDSCHrepetition + delta (2)

[0120] It should be noted that the repetition compensation value can be positive, which can improve transmission reliability. Assuming the repetition threshold indicated by the first parameter is 8, the network device configures 4 NPDSCH repetitions when scheduling the NPDSCH for the first time. Therefore, the terminal device needs to provide HARQ feedback. Based on the feedback result, it can be seen that the reliability of the current channel is relatively low. The network device may configure 8 NPDSCH repetitions to ensure downlink demodulation the next time it schedules the NPDSCH. At this time, the NPDSCH repetition number corresponding to the HARQ feedback reaches the repetition threshold, so the terminal device disables HARQ feedback. However, the NPDSCH repetition number corresponding to the HARQ feedback is increased to 8 through downlink adaptive modulation and coding (AMC). Therefore, the current channel reliability may still be relatively low. Therefore, 8 more NPDSCH repetitions can be added to ensure transmission reliability. In other words, the repetition compensation value is 8 (delta is 8), and the adjusted NPDSCH repetition number is 16.

[0121] Additionally, the repetition compensation value can also be negative, which can improve transmission efficiency. Assuming the repetition threshold indicated by the first parameter is 8, the network device configures the NPDSCH repetition count corresponding to the HARQ feedback to 1 when scheduling the NPDSCH for the first time. Therefore, the terminal device is required to provide HARQ feedback, and the feedback result indicates that the current channel reliability is relatively high. The network device then configures the NPDSCH repetition count to 8 to disable HARQ feedback the next time it schedules the NPDSCH. At this point, because the NPDSCH repetition count has reached the repetition threshold, the terminal device disables HARQ feedback. However, the NPDSCH repetition count corresponding to the HARQ feedback only requires 1. Therefore, to conserve NPDSCH resources, the NPDSCH repetition count corresponding to the HARQ feedback is adjusted, reducing the NPDSCH repetition count by 7. In other words, the repetition compensation value is -7 (delta = -7). After the adjustment, the NPDSCH repetition count remains 1, but the corresponding HARQ feedback is disabled, improving transmission efficiency.

[0122] In one possible implementation, the method further includes: the terminal device receives a DCI for scheduling the NPDSCH corresponding to the HARQ feedback, the DCI including a first parameter, and the first parameter is used to indicate whether the terminal device disables the HARQ feedback.

[0123] It should be noted that the network device can indicate the scheduling resources of NPDSCH and the corresponding HARQ-ACK resources through DCI in dynamic scheduling. The first parameter in the DCI is used to dynamically indicate whether the current scheduling requires HARQ feedback. If the first parameter indicates that the current scheduling requires HARQ feedback, the terminal device receives NPDSCH on the resources indicated by the DCI and performs HARQ feedback on the corresponding resources; if the first parameter indicates that the current scheduling is to enable HARQ feedback, the HARQ-ACK resources indicated by the DCI are invalid, and the terminal device only needs to receive NPDSCH on the resources indicated by the DCI without performing HARQ feedback.

[0124] Optionally, the first parameter may multiplex other fields in the DCI / add a HARQ feedback field to dynamically indicate whether HARQ feedback is required for the current scheduling.

[0125] For example, assuming that there is a HARQ feedback field in the DCI, if the value of the HARQ feedback field is False, the terminal device is instructed to disable HARQ feedback. If the value of the HARQ feedback field is True, the terminal device is instructed to enable HARQ feedback.

[0126] It can be seen that based on the method described in FIG3 , the terminal device can reasonably disable HARQ feedback, thereby improving transmission efficiency while ensuring transmission reliability.

[0127] FIG5 is a flow chart of another control method provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in FIG5 , the control method includes the following step S501. The method shown in FIG5 may be performed by a terminal device. Alternatively, the method shown in FIG5 may be performed by a chip in the terminal device. FIG5 illustrates the method using a terminal device as an example.

[0128] S501: In response to a first preset condition being met, the terminal device disables HARQ feedback.

[0129] In this embodiment of the present application, when a first preset condition is met, the terminal device may disable HARQ feedback. In other words, the first preset condition is used to determine whether to disable HARQ feedback. In this way, HARQ feedback can be reasonably disabled to improve transmission efficiency while ensuring transmission reliability.

[0130] In one possible implementation, satisfying the first preset condition includes at least one of the following: the number of repetitions of the NPDSCH corresponding to the HARQ feedback is greater than or equal to the repetition threshold; the offset of the original scheduling timing corresponding to the HARQ feedback is greater than or equal to the offset threshold. That is, when the number of repetitions of the NPDSCH corresponding to the HARQ feedback is greater than or equal to the repetition threshold, the terminal device disables HARQ feedback. Alternatively, when the offset of the original scheduling timing corresponding to the HARQ feedback is greater than or equal to the offset threshold, the terminal device disables HARQ feedback.

[0131] In one possible implementation, at least one of the following is included: the repetition number threshold value is the repetition number threshold value of the NPDSCH corresponding to the HARQ feedback; the repetition number threshold value is the repetition number threshold value corresponding to the coverage level of the terminal device; the offset threshold value is the offset threshold value of the original scheduling timing.

[0132] In one possible implementation, the number of repetitions of the NPDSCH corresponding to the HARQ feedback is greater than or equal to a repetition threshold value, and the method further includes: the terminal device receives a DCI for scheduling the NPDSCH corresponding to the HARQ feedback, the DCI including a repetition compensation value; and adjusts the repetition number of the NPDSCH based on the repetition compensation value.

[0133] In one possible implementation, the repetition count threshold or the offset threshold is obtained through the received first information. It should be noted that the repetition count threshold or the offset threshold is carried in the first information, which may be sent to the terminal device by a network device or other associated device, and is not limited here.

[0134] In one possible implementation, if the first preset condition is met, the network device determines the HARQ feedback status of each HARQ process and sends it to the terminal device via a first parameter. Specifically, the HARQ process to be used for transmission is determined based on the QoS requirements of the service currently being transmitted. When it is determined that the reliability requirement of the service is high, the service may be transmitted via the HARQ process with enabled HARQ feedback; when it is determined that the rate requirement of the service is high, the service may be transmitted via the HARQ process with disabled HARQ feedback.

[0135] Optionally, the first information is carried in RRC signaling or MAC CE signaling.

[0136] Optionally, the specific implementation manner and one or more possible implementation manners of step S501 may refer to the specific implementation manner and one or more possible implementation manners described in the above step S301, and will not be repeated here.

[0137] It can be seen that based on the method described in FIG5 , the terminal device can reasonably disable HARQ feedback, thereby improving transmission efficiency while ensuring transmission reliability.

[0138] FIG6 is a flow chart of another control method provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in FIG6 , the control method includes the following steps S601 and S602. The method shown in FIG6 may be performed by a terminal device and a network device. Alternatively, the method shown in FIG6 may be performed by a chip in a terminal device and a chip in a network device. FIG6 illustrates the method using a terminal device and a network device as examples.

[0139] S601: A network device sends first information indicating a first parameter, where the first parameter is used to determine whether to disable HARQ feedback. Correspondingly, a terminal device may receive the first information.

[0140] In an embodiment of the present application, the network device sends the first parameter to the terminal device through the first information, which is conducive to improving the flexibility of the first parameter.

[0141] In one possible implementation, the first parameter includes at least one of the following: a repetition threshold value, an offset threshold value. Optionally, the first parameter may also be other parameters, for example, the first parameter indicates the HARQ feedback status of each HARQ process, etc., which is not limited here.

[0142] In one possible implementation, at least one of the following is included: the repetition number threshold value is the repetition number threshold value of the NPDSCH corresponding to the HARQ feedback; the repetition number threshold value is the repetition number threshold value corresponding to the coverage level of the terminal device; the offset threshold value is the offset threshold value of the original scheduling timing.

[0143] In one possible implementation, the first parameter includes a repetition threshold value, and the method further includes: the network device sending a DCI for scheduling the NPDSCH corresponding to the HARQ feedback. Accordingly, the terminal device receives the DCI, which includes a repetition compensation value; and the terminal device adjusts the number of repetitions of the NPDSCH based on the repetition compensation value.

[0144] In one possible implementation, if the first preset condition is met, the network device determines the HARQ feedback status of each HARQ process and sends it to the terminal device via a first parameter.

[0145] Optionally, the first information is carried in RRC signaling or MAC CE signaling.

[0146] S602. The terminal device determines whether to disable HARQ feedback based on the first parameter.

[0147] In one possible implementation, the first parameter includes the repetition number threshold value. When the terminal device determines whether to enable HARQ feedback based on the first parameter, the specific implementation method may be: if the number of repetitions of the NPDSCH corresponding to the HARQ feedback is greater than or equal to the repetition number threshold value, then the HARQ feedback is disabled.

[0148] In one possible implementation, the first parameter includes the offset threshold value. When the terminal device determines whether to disable HARQ feedback based on the first parameter, the specific implementation method may be: if the offset of the original scheduling timing corresponding to the HARQ feedback is greater than or equal to the offset threshold value, then the HARQ feedback is disabled.

[0150] It can be seen that based on the method described in FIG6 , the terminal device can reasonably disable HARQ feedback, thereby improving transmission efficiency while ensuring transmission reliability.
