Abstract

This patent discloses a method for analyzing the end-to-end delay of multi-hop, multi-service LEO-SN networks based on martingale theory. This paper first leverages the predictability of LEO-SNs to establish a transmission model based on the utility of intersatellite links (ISLs) to characterize their transmission characteristics. Secondly, through the definition of minimum sum convolution and residual service, the multi-hop relay link is characterized as an equivalent queuing model. Furthermore, combining martingale theory with the SNC framework, the satellite's internal information processing system is modeled as receiving, computing, and transmitting subsystems, analyzing the processing of service flows within satellite nodes. Taking into account propagation delay and resource contention, a super-martingale end-to-end (E2E) backlog and delay bound analysis model for multi-hop, multi-service scheduling under a priority scheduling strategy is proposed. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed analysis model is verified by comparison with simulation data.
