[0001] The present invention relates to an LED light source filament device, which is configured to emit LED filament light during operation. The LED light source filament device includes: a first plurality of LED light sources, which are configured to emit a first LED light source light during operation, wherein the first LED light source light includes blue LED light source light; a second plurality of LED light sources, which are configured to emit a second LED light source light during operation, wherein the second LED light source light includes red LED light source light; and a light-emitting layer, which covers the first plurality of LED light sources and the second plurality of LED light sources. Background Art

[0002] New energy labelling regulations for lighting efficiency have been developed. Under these regulations, LED lamps that were previously rated A++ are now moved to class E. Only the most energy-efficient bulbs can be rated class A. Therefore, there is a growing desire to provide more energy labelling regulations.

[0003] The main architecture in the lamp is the LED filament lamp. An LED filament lamp is an LED lamp designed to be similar to a traditional incandescent bulb, with a visible filament for aesthetics and light distribution purposes, but with the high efficiency of a light emitting diode.

[0004] As the best efficient LED architecture, non-contact phosphor can be applied to the envelope (light exit window) of LED filament lamps. However, due to the conversion of LED filament light, the filament is no longer visible.

[0005] EP 2 535 640 Al discloses an LED light source bulb, comprising: an LED light source bulb shell; a stem with an exhaust pipe and a bracket; at least one LED light source light strip, wherein there is an LED chip emitting 4K light; a driver; and an electrical connector, wherein the LED light source bulb shell and the stem are vacuum-sealed to form a vacuum-sealed cavity, which is filled with a gas with a low viscosity coefficient and a high thermal conductivity coefficient, the bracket and the LED light source light strip fixed on the bracket are placed in the vacuum-sealed cavity, the LED light source light strip is electrically connected to the driver and the electrical connector in turn, and the electrical connector is used to electrically connect to an external power source from the outside to light up the LED light source light strip. It is also disclosed to provide an LED light source light strip, which has an LED chip emitting 4K light, such as used in an LED light source bulb.

[0006] WO 2021 / 073930 Al discloses an LED filament lamp, comprising: at least one LED filament having a bottom portion and a top portion, extending a length L along a longitudinal axis A, wherein the LED filament comprises an array of a plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs) extending along the longitudinal axis A. An encapsulant at least partially surrounding the plurality of LEDs, wherein the encapsulant comprises a luminescent material. The linear LED array comprises a plurality of blue LEDs emitting blue light and a plurality of red LEDs emitting red light, whereby the LEDs are distributed such that a color temperature CTL of light emitted from the at least one LED filament decreases from the bottom portion to the top portion over at least a portion of the length of the at least one LED filament.

[0007] Therefore, it is desirable to provide a more energy-efficient LED light source, explore the possibility of applying a luminescent layer, and keep the LED light source filament visible. Summary of the invention

[0008] The object of the present invention is to overcome this problem and provide a more energy-efficient LED light source filament device, exploring the possibility of applying a luminescent layer and using the luminescent layer to keep the LED light source filament visible.

[0009] According to a first aspect of the present invention, this object and other objects are achieved by an LED light source filament device, which is configured to emit LED filament light during operation, and the LED light source filament device includes: a first plurality of LED light sources, which are configured to emit first LED light source light during operation, and the first LED light source light includes blue LED light source light; a second plurality of LED light sources, which are configured to emit second LED light source light during operation, and the second LED light source light includes red LED light source light; and a light-emitting layer, which covers at least a portion of the first plurality of LED light sources and at least a portion of the second plurality of LED light sources, and the light-emitting layer is configured to convert at least 88% of the blue LED light source light into converted light, which is any one or more of green light and yellow light, and the second plurality of LED light sources are arranged in a continuous configuration without any LED light source configured as follows: emitting LED light source light of other colors other than red provided in the continuous LED light sources of the second plurality of LED light sources during operation.

[0010] In other words, the second plurality of LED light sources is configured as a configuration comprising only the second plurality of LED light sources. Thereby, in particular by providing that the luminescent layer is configured to convert at least 90% of the blue LED light sources into converted light, which is greenish-yellow light, and the second plurality of LED light sources are arranged in a continuous configuration without any LED light sources configured to, in operation, emit LED light source light of a color other than the red provided in the continuous LED light sources of the second plurality of LED light sources, a more energy-efficient LED light source filament arrangement is provided, with which the possibilities of applying the luminescent layer are exploited and the LED light source filament remains visible.

[0011] In an embodiment, the luminescent layer is configured to convert at least 89%, at least 90% or even at least 91% of the blue LED light source light into converted light. The optimal conversion percentage depends somewhat on the green / yellow phosphor used.

[0012] For the most suitable green / yellow phosphors, such as YAG, the luminescent layer converts at least 90% of the blue LED light source into converted light. As a result, the blue LED light source is not visible (or only slightly visible at a very short distance). In particular, in at least 90% of the cases, no blue LED light source is visible even at a very short distance.

[0013] In an embodiment, the luminescent layer is configured to convert ≤ 96% of the blue LED light source light into converted light, preferably ≤ 95%, more preferably ≤ 94%, most preferably ≤ 93%.

[0014] This results in an improved light quality. The reason is that a small proportion of blue light is still present in the LED filament light. Otherwise, only black body locus LED filament light would be achieved.

[0015] In an embodiment, the light emitting layer is configured to convert 90% to 94% of the blue LED light source light into converted light.

[0016] In an embodiment, the first plurality of LED light sources and the second plurality of LED light sources are arranged on a same carrier. The carrier may be a printed circuit board (PCB).

[0017] Thus, an LED light source filament device with a simple structure is provided.

[0018] In an alternative embodiment, the first plurality of LED light sources are arranged on a first carrier (such as a PCB) and the second plurality of LED light sources are arranged on a second carrier (such as a PCB).

[0019] Thus, an LED light source filament arrangement is provided, by means of which a first plurality of LED light sources and a second plurality of LED light sources can be kept separate in a particularly structurally simple manner.

[0020] In an embodiment, the second plurality of LED light sources also include a plurality of LED light sources configured to emit blue LED light source light during operation, so that the second LED light source light also includes blue LED light source light, and the plurality of LED light sources configured to emit red LED light source light during operation are covered by a second phosphor, which converts the blue LED light source light into red LED light source light.

[0021] By providing a phosphor applied to the first plurality of LED light sources, the first plurality of LED light sources pumps the phosphor, thereby rendering it invisible. By providing a phosphor applied to the second plurality of LED light sources, the visibility of the second plurality of LED light sources is substantially improved. Generally, this provides an LED light source filament arrangement, by which the visibility of the second plurality of LED light sources is substantially improved.

[0022] In an embodiment, the light emitting layer is disposed at a distance from at least one LED light source of the first plurality of LED light sources and the second plurality of LED light sources.

[0023] Hereby, an LED light source filament arrangement is provided by which most or even any spotting of the first plurality of LED light sources may be avoided, in particular when the LED light source filament arrangement is perceived from a close distance, thereby providing a particularly uniform light output.

[0024] In an embodiment, the distance between the luminescent layer and the first plurality of LED light sources and the second plurality of LED light sources is greater than 5 mm, preferably at least 8 mm, more preferably at least 10 mm, and most preferably at least 12 mm. The greater the distance, the higher the efficiency of the LED filament device.

[0025] Thereby, an optimal trade-off between compactness of the LED light source filament arrangement and sufficient avoidance of speckles is achieved.

[0026] In an embodiment, the pitch P2 of the second plurality of LED light sources is smaller than the pitch P1 of the first plurality of LED light sources. In an embodiment, P2≤0.7*P1, in particular P2≤0.5*Pl. In alternative embodiments, P2≤0.2*Pl, P2≤0.4*Pl, P2≤0.6*Pl, P2≤0.8*Pl or P2≤0.9*Pl.

[0027] Thus, an LED light source filament device is provided, by which the uniform appearance of the filament is improved.

[0028] In an embodiment, the LED filament light comprises a correlated color temperature (CCT) less than 2700K, preferably less than 2500K, more preferably less than 2450K, most preferably less than 2400K, such as 2200K or 2100K.

[0029] In an embodiment, the LED filament light may be white light, preferably having a color rendering index of at least 80.

[0030] This provides an LED light source filament arrangement by which the visibility of the second plurality of LED light sources is also improved, as the second plurality of LED light sources are best visible at low CCT due to the high red content in the very warm white spectrum.

[0031] In an embodiment, the LED filament light comprises a correlated color temperature (CCT) of less than 2250K.

[0032] Thereby, an LED light source filament arrangement is provided, by which the visibility of the second plurality of LED light sources is further improved.

[0033] In an embodiment, the LED filament light comprises a color rendering index (CRI) greater than 80.

[0034] Thereby, an LED light source filament arrangement is provided, by which an additional improvement in the visibility of the second plurality of LED light sources is obtained.

[0035] In an embodiment, the luminescent layer is configured to convert less than 5%, less than 3%, less than 2%, less than 1% or 0% of the red LED light source light into converted light.

[0036] Thereby, dilution or weakening of the red light is avoided and the viewer's perception of the filament is enhanced.

[0037] In an embodiment, the phosphor is configured to convert at least 75% of the blue light.

[0038] Thus, the LED filament light is provided with an overall higher CCT, which in turn provides a more pleasing light as perceived by a viewer.

[0039] In an embodiment, the phosphor is configured to convert at least 90% of blue light.

[0040] Thereby, the LED filament light is provided with an overall even higher CCT, which in turn provides an even more pleasing light as perceived by a viewer.

[0041] In an embodiment, the phosphor is configured to convert 70% to 97% of blue light.

[0042] Transitions within this percentage interval have been shown to provide LED filament light having a CCT that provides particularly pleasing light as perceived by a viewer.

[0043] In an embodiment, the second plurality of LED light sources are arranged in a continuous line and the first plurality of LED light sources are distributed around said line.

[0044] Thus, an LED light source filament arrangement is provided, by which the light output visually resembles the light output of a filament to a particularly high degree.

[0045] In an embodiment, the wires are arranged in a meandering pattern or a spiral pattern.

[0046] Thereby, it is possible to provide an LED light source filament arrangement which visually resembles to a particularly high degree various types of more decorative filament patterns.

[0047] In an embodiment, the first plurality of LED light sources are arranged in a matrix.

[0048] Thereby, it is possible to provide an LED light source filament arrangement which visually resembles other different decorative filament patterns to a particularly high degree.

[0049] In an embodiment, the carrier comprises a shape other than elongated, in particular other than a highly elongated shape.

[0050] It is worth noting that the term "highly elongated" is intended to refer to a carrier having a length of four times or more than the width of the carrier or even five times or more than the width of the carrier. In particular, the carrier may comprise a length L and a width W satisfying the relationship 0.5 <L / W<2。

[0051] Thus, an LED light source filament arrangement is provided which can have shapes other than being highly elongated while still having a high aspect ratio because the red line is visible on the light emitting surface.

[0052] In an embodiment, the LED light source filament device comprises a light exit window from which the LED filament light is emitted, and the second plurality of LED light sources are arranged closer to the light exit window than the first plurality of LED light sources.

[0053] Thereby, the visibility of the second plurality of LED light sources may also be optimized and the visual appearance of the filament may also be emphasized.

[0054] In an embodiment, the LED light source filament device further comprises a controller for individually controlling the first plurality of LED light sources and the second plurality of LED light sources, the controller being configured to change the correlated color temperature of the LED filament light from a first correlated color temperature (CCT1) to a second correlated color temperature (CCT2), wherein |CCT1-CCT2|≥300K.

[0055] The second plurality of LED light sources are best visible at low CCT due to the high red content in the very warm white spectrum, and therefore providing CCT control enables an LED light source filament arrangement to be provided by which the visibility of the second plurality of LED light sources can be optimized continuously or at predetermined time intervals.

[0056] The present invention also relates to an LED light source filament device, which is configured to emit LED filament light during operation, and the LED light source filament device includes: a first plurality of LED light sources, which are configured to emit a first LED light source light during operation, the first LED light source light including blue LED light source light; a second plurality of LED light sources, which are configured to emit a second LED light source light during operation, the second LED light source light including red LED light source light; and a light-emitting layer, which covers at least a portion of the first plurality of LED light sources and at least a portion of the second plurality of LED light sources, the light-emitting layer being configured to convert part of the blue LED light source light into converted light, which is one or more of green light and yellow light, the LED filament light including 3% to 7% of the blue LED light source light (relative to the total power of the LED filament light), and the second plurality of LED light sources are arranged in a continuous configuration without any LED light sources configured as follows: emitting LED light source light of other colors other than the red provided in the continuous LED light sources of the second plurality of LED light sources during operation.

[0057] The present invention also relates to a lamp or a lamp fixture, comprising the LED light source filament device according to the present invention.

[0058] It is noted that the invention relates to all possible combinations of features recited in the claims. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0078] The LED light source filament device 1 is configured to emit LED light source filament light 2 ( FIG.

[0079] 9). Generally, regardless of the embodiment, the LED light source filament device 1 comprises: a first plurality of LED light sources 3, configured to emit a first LED light source light 4 ( Figure 1 Not shown, see Figure 2 ), the first LED light source light is or includes blue LED light source light; the second plurality of LED light sources 5 are configured to emit second LED light source light 6 during operation, and the second LED light source light is or includes red LED light source light; and the light-emitting layer 7 covers at least a portion of the first plurality of LED light sources 3 and at least a portion of the second plurality of LED light sources 5.

[0080] Generally, regardless of the embodiment, the luminescent layer 7 is configured to convert at least 90% of the blue LED light source light into converted light 8. Thus, the LED light source filament light 2 includes a combination of blue light 4, red light 6, and converted green and / or yellow light 8. Figure 1 In the embodiment shown, the portion of the luminous layer 7 covering the second plurality of LED light sources 5 is the same as the portion of the luminous layer 7 covering the first plurality of LED light sources 3. Alternatively, the portion of the luminous layer 7 covering the second plurality of LED light sources 5 and the portion of the luminous layer 7 covering the first plurality of LED light sources 3 may be different from each other.

[0081] The light emitting layer 7 is disposed at a distance D from the first plurality of LED light sources 3 and the second plurality of LED light sources 5. [0082] The LED light source filament device 1 may also optionally include an envelope surrounding the first plurality of LED light sources 3 and / or the second plurality of LED light sources 5. The envelope may include or carry phosphors applied to the first plurality of LED light sources 3 and phosphors 13 ( Figure 3 ) or more. Phosphor 13 is also combined with Figure 3 Describe it. Figure 1 In the embodiment shown, phosphor 10 is only applied to an envelope to surround the first plurality of LED light sources 3 .

[0083] Typically, regardless of the embodiment, the second plurality of LED light sources 5 is arranged without or exempt from any LED light source configured to, in operation, emit LED light source light of other colors than the red color provided between the LED light sources of the second plurality of LED light sources 5. In other words, the second plurality of LED light sources 5 is arranged in a configuration, such as a series, row or line, comprising only the LED light sources of the second plurality of LED light sources 5.

[0084] The LED light source filament device further comprises a carrier 9, such as a printed circuit board (PCB). Figure 1In the embodiment shown, the first plurality of LED light sources and the second plurality of LED light sources are arranged on the same carrier 9 .

[0085] The first plurality of LED light sources 3 are provided with a first pitch or center distance P1. The second plurality of LED light sources 5 are provided with a second pitch or center distance P2. [0089] Figure 2 FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional side view of an LED light source filament device 100 according to another embodiment of the present invention. Figure 1 The LED light source filament device differs in the following features.

[0090] The first plurality of LED light sources 3 of the LED light source filament device 100 is provided as a common LED light source chip. Therefore, the first plurality of LED light sources 3 are not provided on the filament. More specifically, the first plurality of LED light sources 3 are arranged on a substrate 92 that is different or separate from the substrate 91 or the filament on which the second plurality of LED light sources 5 are arranged.

[0091] Compared with the first plurality of LED light sources 3, the second plurality of LED light sources 5 are arranged closer to the light exit window 11. In other words, the first plurality of LED light sources 3 are arranged at a first distance B1 from the light exit window 11, and the second plurality of LED light sources 5 are arranged at a second distance B2 from the light exit window 11, and B2 is smaller than B1.

[0092] Figure 3 FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional side view of an LED light source filament device 101 according to another embodiment of the present invention. Figure 1 The LED light source filament device differs in the following features.

[0093] The LED light source filament arrangement 101 comprises a phosphor 13 applied to the second plurality of LED light sources 5. The phosphor 13 is configured to convert the light emitted by the second plurality of LED light sources 5 into red light 6. Therefore, in this embodiment, the second plurality of LED light sources 5 do not necessarily directly emit the first LED light source light as red light, i.e., are red LED light sources.

[0094] Likewise, in Figure 3 In the embodiment shown, no phosphor 10 is applied to the first plurality of LED light sources 3. However, in other embodiments, phosphor 10 may be applied to the first plurality of LED light sources 3 and phosphor 13 may be applied to the second plurality of LED light sources 5. Phosphor 13 may be arranged at a distance from the second plurality of LED light sources 5. The distance may be greater than 1 mm. Phosphor 13 may be provided in or as part of the luminescent layer 7, or as a coating on the luminescent layer 7. Phosphor 13 may also be provided directly on an envelope surrounding the second plurality of LED light sources 5 or directly on a surface of the second plurality of LED light sources 5.

[0095] Figure 4 FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional side view of an LED light source filament device 102 according to another embodiment of the present invention. Figure 3 The LED light source filament device 101 is similar to, but differs therefrom in the following features.

[0096] The phosphor 13 is configured to only partially convert the second LED light source light emitted by the second plurality of LED light sources 5 into red light 6. Therefore, in this embodiment, at least some of the second plurality of LED light sources 5 do not necessarily directly emit red light, i.e., are red LED light sources. Therefore, the second plurality of LED light sources 5 of the LED light source filament device 102 collectively emit second LED light source light, which is a combination of red light 6 and unconverted light 14.

[0097] Figure 5FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional side view of an LED light source filament device 103 according to another embodiment of the present invention. Figure 1 The LED light source filament device differs in the following features.

[0098] The first plurality of LED light sources 3 and the second plurality of LED light sources 5 are disposed on the same substrate 9. More specifically, the first plurality of LED light sources 3 are disposed on an end portion of the substrate 9, and the second plurality of light sources 5 are disposed on the remaining portion of the substrate 9.

[0099] Only the second plurality of LED light sources 5 are surrounded by the envelope. Phosphor 10 is applied on the surface of the solid state light sources of the first plurality of LED light sources 3.

[0100] Figure 6 FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional side view of an LED light source filament device 104 according to another embodiment of the present invention. Figure 5 The LED light source filament device 103 is similar to, but differs therefrom in the following features.

[0101] The phosphor 13 is configured to convert the second LED source light emitted by the second plurality of LED sources 5 into red light 6. Therefore, in this embodiment, the second plurality of LED sources 5 do not necessarily emit red light directly, ie are red LED sources.

[0102] Furthermore, phosphor 13 is applied to the second plurality of LED light sources 5. Figure 6 In the embodiment shown, no phosphor 10 is applied to the first plurality of LED light sources 3. However, in other embodiments, phosphor 10 may be applied to both the first plurality of LED light sources 3 and phosphor 13 may be applied to the second plurality of LED light sources 5. The phosphor 13 may be arranged at a distance from the second plurality of LED light sources 5. The distance may be greater than 1 mm. The phosphor 13 may be provided in the luminescent layer 7 or as part of the luminescent layer 7, or as a coating on the luminescent layer 7. Alternatively or additionally, the phosphor 13 may be provided as a coating applied directly on the LED light sources of the second plurality of LED light sources 5 or on a surface of an envelope surrounding the second plurality of LED light sources 5.

[0103] In general, regardless of the embodiment, the first plurality of LED light sources 3 and the second plurality of LED light sources 5 may be arranged in various geometric patterns relative to each other, depending on which filament appearance is desired.

[0104] In one embodiment of the LED light source arrangement 105 according to the present invention, Figure 7As shown, the second plurality of LED light sources 5 may be arranged in a straight line, and the first plurality of LED light sources 3 may be distributed around the line formed by the second plurality of LED light sources 5. The straight line may be a continuous line.

[0105] In another embodiment of the LED light source arrangement according to the present invention, the second plurality of LED light sources 5 may be arranged in a non-straight line, and the first plurality of LED light sources 3 may be distributed around the non-straight line formed by the second plurality of LED light sources 5. The non-straight line may be a continuous line. Non-limiting examples of non-straight lines include curved lines (see, for example, Figure 8 LED light source arrangement shown), winding lines, twisted lines or spiral lines.

[0106] Fig. 9 The off state will be perceived by the viewer. Figure 8 LED light source filament device, and Fig.10 The basis for what will be perceived by the viewer when in the on state is shown Figure 8 In the off state, i.e. the state where the LED light source is turned off, the light emitting layer 7 will be visible to the viewer, such as Fig. 9 In the on state, i.e. the state where the LED light source is turned on, the line of red LEDs will be visible to the viewer, while the line of blue LEDs will not be visible to the viewer due to the conversion of the light emitting layer 7, as shown in FIG. Fig.10 shown.

[0107] In yet another example, the first plurality of LED light sources 3 may be arranged in a matrix distributed around the second plurality of LED light sources 5 .

In the embodiment shown, the LED light source filament device 1 is a linear LED light source filament device 1 and is arranged to be substantially extended as a filament of the lamp. In other embodiments, the LED light source filament device 1 of such a lamp comprises other shapes, such as but not limited to spiral, helical, meandering, twisted, and flat.

[0109] The lamp 20 further comprises a controller 21 configured to individually control at least the first plurality of LED light sources 3 and the second plurality of LED light sources 5 of the LED light source filament device 1. The controller 21 is configured to control at least one of the CCT of the LED filament light and the CRI of the LED filament light. The controller 21 may also be configured to control other parameters related to the LED light source and the LED filament light.

[0110] The lamp 20 further comprises an envelope 22, at least partially enclosing at least one LED light source filament device 1. The lamp 20 further comprises a cover 23. Figure 4As shown, the controller 21 is disposed in the envelope 22. When the cover 23 is included, the controller 21 can also be disposed within the cover 23 so that it is hidden from view. The lamp 20 also includes a thread 24 for connecting to a socket and a terminal 25 for connecting to an electrical energy source.
