[0003] Patent Document 1: Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 2020-161242 Summary of the invention Problems to be solved by the invention

[0004] However, in the case of a wiring harness such as the above, the electric wires are likely to contact the inner circumference of the curved portion of the tube due to manufacturing reasons. In addition, when the vehicle is running, the area under the floor where the wiring harness is mounted tends to become hot. Therefore, when the vibration from the vehicle body acts on the wiring harness while the electric wires are already in contact with the tube, the covering member covering the core wire of the electric wire tends to become thinner and thinner. As a result, the insulation reliability of the wiring harness may be reduced. The hose of the above-mentioned patent document 1 is intended to improve the waterproofness of the connection portion, and is not intended to solve the above-mentioned problem.

[0009] [Description of Embodiments of the Present Disclosure] First, embodiments of the present disclosure will be described below. [1] The wire harness disclosed in the present invention comprises: a wire component having a core wire and an insulating sheath covering the core wire; a protective component covering the periphery of the insulating sheath; and a cylindrical component through which the wire component is inserted and having a curved portion, the protective component being arranged at a position corresponding to the curved portion in the wire component. According to this structure, the protective component makes it difficult for the wire component to contact the inner circumference of the curved portion of the cylindrical component, thereby protecting the wire component.

[0010] [2] In the above [1], the thermal expansion coefficient of the protective component is the same as the thermal expansion coefficient of the insulating coating. According to this structure, since the protective component and the insulating coating of the wire component have the same thermal expansion coefficient, it is possible to suppress damage to the insulating coating caused by the difference in thermal expansion coefficient between the protective component and the insulating coating.

[0011] [3] In the above [1] or [2], the wire component is one of a plurality of wire components; the plurality of wire components are inserted into the cylindrical component; and the protective component bundles the plurality of wire components. According to this structure, since the plurality of wire components are bundled by the protective component, the plurality of wire components can be easily inserted into the cylindrical component.

[0012] [4] In the above [1] or [2], the wire component is one of a plurality of wire components; the plurality of wire components are inserted into the cylindrical component; and the protective component covers the periphery of the insulating coating portion of at least the wire component closest to the inner circumference of the curved portion among the plurality of wire components. According to this structure, the wire component that is easily in contact with the cylindrical component can be protected by the protective component.

[0013] [5] In the above [1] or [2], the wire component is one of a plurality of wire components; the plurality of wire components are inserted into the tubular component; and the protective component covers the circumference of each of the insulating coatings in the plurality of wire components. According to this structure, the insulating coatings of the plurality of wire components can be protected by the protective component. Therefore, the difference in curvature between the wire component on the inner circumference and the wire component on the outer circumference in the curved portion of the tubular component can be absorbed.

[0014] [Details of the embodiments of the present disclosure] Specific examples of the wiring harness disclosed in the present invention are described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. In each of the drawings, some structures may be exaggerated or simplified for ease of explanation. In addition, the size ratios of each part may be different in each of the drawings. "Parallel" or "orthogonal" in this specification includes not only parallel or orthogonal in a strict sense, but also includes approximately parallel or orthogonal situations within the scope of the effect that can be achieved in this embodiment. In addition, the present invention is not limited to these examples, but is limited by the claims, and is intended to include all changes within the scope of the claims and their equivalents.

[0015] The following is in accordance with Figure 1 to Figure 3 One embodiment of the wire harness 10 will be described. (Overall Structure of Wiring Harness 10) like Figure 1 As shown, the wire harness 10 electrically connects the electric devices M1 and M2. The wire harness 10 may be configured to connect three or more electric devices.

[0016] The wiring harness 10 is mounted on a vehicle 11 such as a hybrid vehicle or an electric vehicle. The wiring harness 10 has one or more wire components 20 (two in the present embodiment) that are electrically connected to the electrical device M1 and the electrical device M2. The wiring harness 10 also has, for example, a tubular component 30 through which the plurality of wire components 20 pass, and a tubular outer component 41 that surrounds the plurality of wire components 20 drawn out from the tubular component 30. The tubular component 30 and the outer component 41 are used to protect the wire components 20 housed therein from splashes and water droplets. The wiring harness 10 has, for example, a two-dimensional or three-dimensional curved path.

[0017] (Structure of the Electric Wire Component 20) The wiring harness 10, for example, has a portion of its length direction routed from the electrical device M1 to the electrical device M2 in a manner that passes under the floor of the vehicle 11. One end of each wire component 20 is connected to the electrical device M1, and the other end of each wire component 20 is connected to the electrical device M2. As an example of the electrical devices M1 and M2, the electrical device M1 is an inverter disposed near the front of the vehicle 11, and the electrical device M2 is a high-voltage battery disposed at the rear of the vehicle 11 closer to the electrical device M1. The inverter is connected to, for example, a wheel drive motor that serves as a driving power source for the vehicle. The inverter generates alternating current from the direct current of the high-voltage battery and supplies the alternating current to the motor. The high-voltage battery is, for example, a battery that can provide a voltage of more than 100 volts.

[0018] like Figure 2 As shown, each wire component 20 has a first wire 21 and a second wire 24 electrically connected to the first wire 21. As an example, the first wire 21 is a flexible wire, and the second wire 24 is a rigid wire. That is, in the present embodiment, each wire component 20 is formed by electrically connecting different types of first wires 21 and second wires 24 along the length direction of the wire component 20. In addition, each wire component 20 can also be formed by electrically connecting the same type of first wire 21 and second wire 24. Flexible wires are more flexible than rigid wires. Flexible wires have higher bendability than rigid wires. Rigid wires are, for example, formed to have higher bending rigidity than flexible wires. Rigid wires, for example, have rigidity capable of maintaining the shape of the wiring path along the wire component 20. Rigid wires are, for example, mounted on a vehicle 11 (refer to Figure 1 ) state, it has rigidity to the extent that the straight or curved state is not released by vibration of the vehicle 11. For example, if the rigid wire is wired in a curved path, the rigid wire can be bent and the bent shape can be maintained.

[0019] like Figure 1 , Figure 2 As shown, each wire component 20 has a connecting portion 27 and a covering component 28 covering the periphery of the connecting portion 27, and the first wire 21 and the second wire 24 are joined at the connecting portion 27. The first wire 21 and the second wire 24 are connected at both ends in the length direction. In the present embodiment, the middle portion in the length direction of each wire component 20 is composed of the second wire 24, and the two ends in the length direction of each wire component 20 are composed of the first wire 21. The first wire 21 and the second wire 24 are, for example, high-voltage wires that can handle high voltages and large currents. The first wire 21 and the second wire 24 may be, for example, shielded wires that have an electromagnetic shielding structure themselves, or may be unshielded wires that do not have an electromagnetic shielding structure themselves. The first wire 21 and the second wire 24 in the present embodiment are unshielded wires.

[0020] (Structure of the First Electric Wire 21) like Figure 2 As shown, the first electric wire 21 has a core wire 22 composed of a plurality of bare metal wires and an insulating coating 23 covering the outer periphery of the core wire 22. As the core wire 22, for example, a stranded wire formed by twisting a plurality of bare metal wires, or a braided member braided into a cylindrical shape by a plurality of bare metal wires can be used. The core wire 22 of this embodiment is a stranded wire. As the material of the core wire 22, for example, a metal material such as copper or aluminum can be used.

[0021] The cross-sectional shape of the core wire 22 after being cut by a plane perpendicular to the length direction of the core wire 22, that is, the cross-sectional shape of the core wire 22 can be any shape. The cross-sectional shape of the core wire 22 can be formed into a circular, semicircular, polygonal, square or flat shape, for example. The cross-sectional shape of the core wire 22 of the present embodiment is formed into a circular shape.

[0022] The insulating coating 23 covers the outer peripheral surface of the core wire 22 along the entire circumferential direction, for example. The insulating coating 23 is made of an insulating material such as a synthetic resin, for example. As the material of the insulating coating 23, for example, a polyolefin resin such as cross-linked polyethylene or cross-linked polypropylene can be used. The insulating coating 23 can be formed by extrusion molding (extrusion coating) of the core wire 22, for example. The thickness of the insulating coating 23 can be 1.4 mm, for example.

[0023] (Structure of the Second Electric Wire 24) The second electric wire 24 has, for example, a core wire 25 composed of a single conductor and an insulating coating 26 covering the outer circumference of the core wire 25. As the core wire 25, for example, a columnar conductor composed of a single metal rod with a solid internal structure, or a cylindrical conductor that can be a hollow structure, etc. can be used. The core wire 25 of the present embodiment is a columnar conductor. As the material of the core wire 25, for example, a metal material such as copper or aluminum can be used. As the material of the core wire 25, for example, it can be a material of the same type as the material of the core wire 22, or it can be a material of a different type from the material of the core wire 22. The core wire 25 is formed, for example, by extrusion molding. The cross-sectional shape of the core wire 25 can be any shape. The cross-sectional shape of the core wire 25 of the present embodiment is formed into a circle.

[0024] The insulating coating 26, for example, covers the outer peripheral surface of the core wire 25 along the entire circumferential direction. The insulating coating 26 is made of, for example, an insulating material such as a synthetic resin. As the material of the insulating coating 26, for example, a polyolefin resin such as cross-linked polyethylene or cross-linked polypropylene can be used. The insulating coating 26 can be formed, for example, by extruding the core wire 25. In addition, as the insulating coating 26, for example, a heat shrink tube or a hose made of rubber can also be used. The thickness of the insulating coating 26 can be, for example, 1.1 mm.

[0025] (Structure of the connection portion 27) In the connection portion 27, the core wire 22 is joined to the core wire 25. Specifically, at the end of the first electric wire 21 in the longitudinal direction, a certain length of the insulating coating 23 is stripped from the end of the first electric wire 21 to expose the end of the core wire 22. In addition, at the end of the second electric wire 24 in the longitudinal direction, a certain length of the insulating coating 26 is stripped from the end of the second electric wire 24 to expose the end of the core wire 25. Then, in the connection portion 27, the end of the core wire 22 exposed from the insulating coating 23 is joined to the end of the core wire 25 exposed from the insulating coating 26. For example, in the connection portion 27, the core wire 22 and the core wire 25 are overlapped and joined in the radial direction, that is, in the direction intersecting the longitudinal directions of the core wire 22 and the core wire 25. In addition, the method of joining the core wire 22 and the core wire 25 is not particularly limited. For example, as a method of joining the core wire 22 and the core wire 25, a method such as ultrasonic welding or laser welding can be used.

[0026] (Structure of the Covering Member 28) The covering member 28 is formed to cover the outer periphery of the connection portion 27. The covering member 28 is formed, for example, in a long cylindrical shape. The covering member 28 is formed, for example, to cover the core wire 22 exposed from the insulating coating 23 and the core wire 25 exposed from the insulating coating 26. The covering member 28 is formed, for example, to be bridged between the end of the insulating coating 23 and the end of the insulating coating 26. For example, one end of the covering member 28 covers the outer periphery of the end of the insulating coating 23, and the other end of the covering member 28 covers the outer periphery of the end of the insulating coating 26. The covering member 28 surrounds the outer periphery of the first electric wire 21 and the outer periphery of the second electric wire 24 in the entire circumferential direction. The covering member 28 has a function of maintaining electrical insulation between the connection portion 27 and the core wire 22 and the core wire 25 exposed from the insulating coatings 23 and 26. Furthermore, the coating member 28 has a function of waterproofing the connection portion 27 and the core wires 22 and 25 exposed from the insulating coating portions 23 and 26 , for example.

[0027] The covering member 28 may be, for example, a shrink tube, a rubber tube, a resin molded product, a hot melt adhesive, or a tape member. The covering member 28 of this embodiment is a heat shrink tube. As the material of the covering member 28, for example, a synthetic resin having a polyolefin resin such as cross-linked polyethylene or cross-linked polypropylene as a main component may be used. The thickness of the covering member 28 may be, for example, 1.1 mm.

[0028] Here, the second electric wire 24 is, for example, disposed inside the tubular member 30. The second electric wire 24 can be, for example, disposed inside the tubular member 30 along the entire length of the second electric wire 24 in the longitudinal direction. The connecting portion 27 is, for example, disposed inside the tubular member 30. The first electric wire 21 is, for example, disposed such that the end portion of the first electric wire 21 in the longitudinal direction is disposed inside the tubular member 30. The first electric wire 21 is led out of the tubular member 30 from the end portion 31 of the tubular member 30. Although not shown in the figure, at the end portion 32 of the tubular member 30 (see Figure 1 ) Similarly, the connecting portion 27 in which the end of the first electric wire 21 in the longitudinal direction is connected to the end of the second electric wire 24 in the longitudinal direction is provided outside the tubular member 30. In addition, the first electric wire 21 is led out from the end 32 of the tubular member 30 to the outside of the tubular member 30.

[0029] (Structure of the cylindrical member 30) The tubular component 30 of the present embodiment is formed into a long cylindrical shape. The tubular component 30 is, for example, disposed in the middle of the length direction of the wiring harness 10. The tubular component 30, for example, accommodates the middle of the length direction of the wire component 20 inside. The tubular component 30, for example, surrounds the outer periphery of the wire component 20 along the entire circumference. As the tubular component 30, for example, a metal tube, a resin tube, a resin bellows, or a rubber waterproof cover, or a combination thereof, can be used. As the material of the metal tube, for example, a metal material such as aluminum or copper can be used. As the material of the resin tube or bellows, for example, a conductive resin material or a non-conductive resin material can be used. As the resin material, for example, a synthetic resin such as polyolefin, polyamide, polyester, ABS resin, etc. can be used. The tubular component 30 of the present embodiment is a metal tube.

[0030] like Figure 1 As shown, the tubular component 30 is bent into a two-dimensional or three-dimensional shape, for example. At the end 31, the tubular component 30 has a straight portion 33A extending linearly in the front-rear direction of the vehicle, a curved portion 34A provided at one end of the straight portion 33A, and a straight portion 33B extending downward from the curved portion 34A in the vehicle up-down direction. In addition, the tubular component 30 has a curved portion 34B provided at one end of the straight portion 33B, and a straight portion 33C extending backward from the curved portion 34B in the vehicle up-down direction. The tubular component 30 also has a curved portion 34C provided at one end of the straight portion 33C, and a straight portion 33D extending upward from the curved portion 34C in the vehicle up-down direction.

[0031] For example, the wire harness 10 is manufactured as follows. First, the straight wire component 20 is inserted into the inside of the straight cylindrical component 30. Next, the cylindrical component 30 is bent while the wire component 20 is inserted. As a result, the bent portions 34A, 34B, and 34C are formed at multiple positions of the cylindrical component 30. At this time, while the cylindrical component 30 is bent, the wire component 20 inserted into the inside of the cylindrical component 30 is also bent. In addition, in the wire harness 10 of the present embodiment, the bending process starts from the position closest to the end 31 in the cylindrical component 30. The bending process is performed sequentially from the position close to the end 31 to the position close to the end 32 among the multiple positions of the cylindrical component 30. That is, in the bending process of the cylindrical component 30, the bent portions 34A, 34B, and 34C are formed in this order. In addition, the bent portion 34A is set at the position closest to the end 31 among the multiple bent portions 34A, 34B, and 34C.

[0032] like Figure 2 As shown, the straight portions 33A and 33B are connected to both sides of the curved portion 34A. The curved portion 34A is, for example, bent at a right angle. For example, the curved portion 34A is bent so that the direction in which the central axis of the straight portion 33A extends is orthogonal to the direction in which the central axis of the straight portion 33B extends. The curved portion 34A has an inner peripheral side 35. The wire component 20 housed inside the curved portion 34A is bent along the curved portion 34A.

[0033] The straight portion 33A is provided between the end surface 31A and the curved portion 34A in the end portion 31 in the longitudinal direction of the tubular member 30. The connecting portion 27 of the electric wire member 20 is accommodated inside the straight portion 33A.

[0034] (Structure of the exterior member 41) like Figure 1 As shown, the outer casing 41 is in the shape of a long tube. The outer casing 41 is, for example, disposed at both ends of the wire harness 10 in the length direction. For example, the ends of the wire component 20 in the length direction, that is, the ends of the wire component 20 drawn out from the tubular component 30, are housed inside the outer casing 41. The outer casing 41 surrounds the outer periphery of the wire component 20, for example, along the entire circumference. The outer casing 41 surrounds the outer periphery of the first wire 21 in the length direction of the wire component 20, for example, along the entire circumference. As the outer casing 41, for example, a corrugated tube or a waterproof cover can be used.

[0035] (Structure of the protection member 71) like Figure 1 to Figure 3 As shown, the wire harness 10 has a protective member 71. The protective member 71 is configured to surround the outer periphery of the two wire members 20. The protective member 71 is provided at a predetermined position in the longitudinal direction of the cylindrical member 30. The protective member 71 is provided at a position corresponding to the curved portions 34A to 34C of the cylindrical member 30. Figure 2 , Figure 3 As shown in FIG. 1 , the protection member 71 is provided inside the bent portion 34A of the tubular member 30 . The protection member 71 bundles the two electric wire members 20 . In the present embodiment, the protection member 71 bundles the second electric wires 24 included in the electric wire members 20 .

[0036] The protective member 71 contacts the inner circumference 35 of the curved portions 34A to 34C. The protective member 71 is made of an insulating material such as a synthetic resin, for example. The thermal expansion coefficient of the protective member 71 is the same as the thermal expansion coefficient of the insulating coating 26 of the second electric wire 24. Here, when the insulating coating 26 and the protective member 71 that are in contact with each other do not expand and contract due to heat, causing deformation of the insulating coating 26, etc., it can be said that "the thermal expansion coefficients are the same". As the material of the protective member 71, a polyolefin resin such as cross-linked polyethylene or cross-linked polypropylene can be used. As the protective member 71, for example, a heat shrink tube or a hose made of rubber can also be used. The thickness of the protective member 71 can be, for example, 1.0 mm.

[0037] (Structure of the fixing member 81) like Figure 2 As shown, the wire harness 10 has a fixing member 81. The fixing member 81 bundles a plurality of wire components 20. In the present embodiment, the fixing member 81 bundles the first wire 21 of the wire component 20. The fixing member 81 is made of the same material as the protective member 71. In addition, the fixing member 81 may be omitted. In addition, the protective member 71 may be used instead of the fixing member 81 to bundle the first wire 21.

[0038] (Effect) As described above, according to this embodiment, the following effects can be achieved. (1) The wire harness 10 includes a wire component 20, a protective component 71, and a cylindrical component 30. The wire component 20 includes a core wire 25 and a second wire 24 composed of an insulating coating 26 covering the core wire 25. The protective component 71 covers the periphery of the insulating coating 26. The cylindrical component 30 has a curved portion 34A. The protective component 71 is provided at a position corresponding to the curved portions 34A to 34C in the second wire 24 of the wire component 20.

[0039] Fig.11 , Fig.121 shows a wiring harness 10X of a comparative example. In the wiring harness 10X of the comparative example, a plurality of electric wires 110 inserted into the cylindrical member 100 are also bent together. Thus, the electric wires 110 contact the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical member 100 at the inner side 102 of the bend 101 of the cylindrical member 100. In this state, the temperature under the floor of the vehicle 11 is transmitted to the insulating coating 112 of the electric wires 110 through the cylindrical member 30. In addition, when the electric wires 110 are in contact with the cylindrical member 30, when the vibration from the vehicle 11 acts on the wiring harness 10X, the insulating coating 112 covering the core wire 111 of the electric wires 110 tends to become thinner and thinner.

[0040] The protective member 71 of the wire harness 10 of the present embodiment is disposed at a position corresponding to the curved portions 34A to 34C in the wire component 20. Therefore, the insulating coating 26 is not easy to contact the inner circumference 35 of the curved portions 34A to 34C of the cylindrical component 30. Thus, it is possible to suppress the insulating coating 26 from becoming thinner. As a result, it is possible to protect the wire component 20 (the second wire 24). In addition, it is possible to suppress a decrease in the reliability of the wire harness 10.

[0041] (2) The thermal expansion coefficient of the protective member 71 is the same as that of the insulating coating 26. Due to the temperature change at the position where the wire harness 10 is arranged, the insulating coating 26 of the second electric wire 24 of the electric wire member 20 and the protective member 71 expand or contract. At this time, since the insulating coating 26 and the protective member 71 have the same thermal expansion coefficient, it is possible to suppress the insulating coating 26 from being damaged due to the difference in thermal expansion coefficient between the protective member 71 and the insulating coating 26.

[0042] (3) The two electric wire components 20 are inserted into the cylindrical component 30. The protective component 71 bundles the two electric wire components 20. Therefore, the two electric wire components 20 can be easily inserted into the cylindrical component 30.

[0043] (Other embodiments) The above-mentioned embodiment can be implemented by making the following modifications. The above-mentioned embodiment and the following modifications can be implemented in combination within the scope of no technical contradiction.

[0044] The structure of the wire harness 10 of the above-described embodiment may be modified as appropriate. like Figure 4 The wire harness 10A of the modified example 1 shown may be configured to include a protection member 71 that covers each insulating coating portion 26 of the second electric wires 24 of each electric wire component 20 .

[0045] According to this structure, each insulating coating portion 26 of the second electric wires 24 of the plurality of electric wire components 20 can be protected by the protective member 71. Therefore, it is possible to absorb the difference in curvature between the electric wires on the inner side and the electric wires on the outer side in the curved portion 34A of the tubular component 30. That is, even if the plurality of second electric wires 24 are bent at different curvatures, since each second electric wire 24 is protected by the protective member 71, each second electric wire 24 can be bent well.

[0046] like Figure 5 , Figure 6 In the wire harness 10B of the second modification shown, the insulating coating 26 and the protective member 71 of the second electric wire 24 of each electric wire component 20 may be formed integrally. That is, the insulating coating 26 may be thickened at the position corresponding to each bent portion 34A to 34C, and the thickened portion of the insulating coating 26 may function as the protective member 71 covering the surrounding of the insulating coating 26. However, the insulating coating 26 and the protective member 71 may be formed integrally, and the insulating coating 26 and the protective member 71 may not be made of the same material. Figure 5 , Figure 6 The dotted line in illustrative diagram schematically shows the boundary between the insulating coating 26 and the protective member 71. In reality, the boundary may disappear or may be unclear.

[0047] like Figure 7 In the wire harness 10C of the third modification shown, the protective member 72 can be arranged at a position corresponding to and across the curved portion 34A of the tubular member 30. By thus arranging the protective member 72, it is possible to better suppress the insulating coating 26 of the second electric wire 24 of the electric wire member 20 from contacting the inner circumference 35 of the curved portion 34A of the tubular member 30.

[0048] like Figure 8 to Figure 10 The wire harness 10D of the modified example 4 shown is used to connect the electrical devices M1 to M4 mounted on the vehicle 11. The electrical device M3 is, for example, a relay box arranged near the front of the vehicle 11, and the electrical device M4 is, for example, a low-voltage battery arranged near the rear of the vehicle 11. The wire harness 10D has a wire component 90 for connecting the electrical devices M3 and M4. The wire component 90 is, for example, a flexible wire. Fig. 9 , Fig.10 As shown, the protection member 71 winds together the two electric wire components 20 and the two electric wire components 90. In the wire harness 10D configured in this way, the electric wire components 20 and 90 can be protected by the protection member 71.

[0049] With respect to the above-described embodiment, the protective component 71 may be provided on the wire component 20 (the second wire 24) at least close to the inner circumference 35 of the curved portions 34A to 34C of the cylindrical component 30 among the plurality of wire components 20. In this case, the wire that is likely to contact the cylindrical component 30 can be protected by the protective component. In addition, the wire component 20 (the second wire 24) can be protected by a minimum number of protective components.

[0050] In the above-mentioned embodiment, the protective component 71 is formed to cover the outer periphery of the insulating coating 26 of the second electric wire 24 of the electric wire component 20. In contrast, as long as the insulating coating 26 does not easily come into contact with the curved portions 34A to 34C of the tubular component 30, for example, the protective component 71 may be disposed on the inner side of the curve of the bent second electric wire 24 (electric wire component 20) and the protective component 71 may be omitted on the outer side of the curve. That is, the protective component 71 may be at least interposed between the inner circumference 35 of each curved portion 34A to 34C and the insulating coating 26 of the second electric wire 24. In addition, Figure 7 In the wire harness 10C of the third modification shown, the protection members 72 are provided at intervals in the longitudinal direction of the electric wire member 20 , but the protection members 72 may be provided at intervals in the circumferential direction of the second electric wires 24 .

[0051] In the above embodiment, the electric wire component 20 connecting the first electric wire 21 and the second electric wire 24 is used. Correspondingly, the entire electric wire component 20 may be formed by the first electric wire 21. Furthermore, the entire electric wire component 20 may be formed by the second electric wire 24.
