[0032] Hereinafter, a duct device for a motor vehicle according to an embodiment of the present invention is described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0033] According to an embodiment of the present invention, Figures 1 to 5 As shown, the duct device for a motor vehicle includes: a vehicle body floor 100, on which a plurality of seats S1, S2 (collectively referred to as "S") are arranged; and a battery housing 200, which is arranged below the vehicle body floor 100. The battery housing 200 accommodates a built-in battery module 210 and has an air intake 220 for sucking in air and an air exhaust 230 for exhausting air. The duct device also includes: an intake duct 300, which is arranged above the vehicle body floor 100 and is communicatively connected to the air intake 220; an exhaust duct 400, which is communicatively connected to the exhaust duct 230 and extends along the vehicle body floor 100; and an air conditioning duct 500, which is communicatively connected to the air conditioner H and extends along the vehicle body floor 100. In one embodiment, a portion of the air conditioning duct 500 extends to vertically overlap with the exhaust duct 400.
[0034] The vehicle body floor 100 may be an interior floor of a motor vehicle, and a plurality of seats S are disposed thereon.
[0035] The battery housing 200 may have a built-in battery module 210 for supplying power, and is mounted below the vehicle body floor 100 .
[0036] The battery housing 200 can be installed in the tire compartment of the trunk, behind or below the rear seats, etc., but in the present invention, the battery housing 200 is arranged below the first row of seats to ensure the utilization of the internal space, wherein the first row of seats are electrically heated seats.
[0037] In addition to the battery module 210, a blower for cooling various electrical components and circulating air may be provided in the battery housing 200. In addition, an air inlet 220 for introducing air for cooling the battery module 210 and an air outlet 230 for discharging air for cooling the battery module 210 are formed in the battery housing 200 so that the air for cooling the battery module 210 can circulate.
[0038] The suction duct 300 may be communicatively connected to the air inlet 220 of the battery case 200 so that the internal air may flow into the battery case 200. The suction duct 300 may be disposed below the seat "S" located on the vehicle body floor 100, configured not to be exposed to the interior, and formed in a shape that does not interfere with the seat S.
[0039] The exhaust duct 400 may be communicatively connected to the exhaust port 230 of the battery housing 200 so that air cooling the battery module 210 may be exhausted to the outside. The exhaust duct 400 may extend along the bottom surface at the upper portion of the vehicle body floor 100 and form an exhaust path to the rear side of the motor vehicle. The exhaust duct 400 may be embedded in the inner bottom surface.
[0040] In the present invention, since a plurality of seats (S1, S2) are provided, a second row of seats and a third row of seats may also be provided behind the first row of seats. Therefore, the air conditioning duct 500 is provided to provide conditioned air to the rear seat side.
[0041] The air conditioning duct 500 is communicatively connected to the air conditioning machine H and extends along the vehicle body floor 100. In other words, the air conditioning machine H may be provided at the front of the motor vehicle, and the air conditioning duct 500 connected to the air conditioning machine "H" may extend to the rear seats S2 including the second row seats and the third row seats so as to provide conditioned air to the rear seats S2.
[0042] In one embodiment, the suction duct 300, the exhaust duct 400 and the air conditioning duct 500 are arranged under the first row of seats as the front seats, and the path and cross-sectional area of each duct should be ensured to meet the requirements including the air circulation amount. In addition, when the rear seats include the second row and the third row, a branch path should be formed in the air conditioning duct 500.
[0043] To this end, according to the present invention, by the preferred design of the intake duct 300, the exhaust duct 400 and the air conditioning duct 500 according to the installation position of the battery housing 200, the comfort of the internal space can be ensured while meeting the requirements of each duct.
[0044] In other words, a portion of the air conditioning duct 500 according to the present invention extends to vertically overlap the exhaust duct 400 .
[0045] The suction duct 300, the exhaust duct 400, and the air conditioning duct 500 are provided on the vehicle body floor 100, and the plurality of ducts should be prevented from interfering with other components including the seat S, and a cross-sectional area should be ensured so that air can be sufficiently circulated. Therefore, since the air conditioning duct 500 extends rearward along the vehicle body floor 100 and a portion thereof overlaps with the exhaust duct 400, the air conditioning duct 500 and the exhaust duct 400 can be provided by using a portion that avoids interference with other components. In addition, since the air conditioning duct 500 forms a branch path and only a portion thereof overlaps with the exhaust duct 400, the arrangement can be optimized and the cross-sectional area for air circulation can be easily ensured.
[0046] Describing the present invention in detail, as shown in the drawings, the suction duct 300 may be located below the front seat S1 , and the exhaust duct 400 may be formed to extend below or to the side of the rear seat S2 .
[0047] In other words, the suction duct 300, the exhaust duct 400, and the air conditioning duct 500 may be disposed between a pair of seat rails R below the seat S. The seat S has a positionally variable structure and has a pair of seat rails R, and the seat S has a position that is adjustable when sliding along the seat rails R. Here, since the seat S is placed on the seat rails R and the seat rails R are formed to have a certain height, there is an unused space below the seat S and between the pair of seat rails R. According to the present invention, by utilizing the unused space between the seat rails R to dispose the suction duct 300, the exhaust duct 400, and the air conditioning duct 500, it is possible to prevent the interior comfort from being deteriorated due to each duct entering the interior space by optimizing the position and cross-sectional area of each duct, and to ensure the circulation amount of air.
[0048] According to one embodiment of the present invention, a plurality of seats S may be arranged inside a motor vehicle, and the plurality of seats S may be divided into a front seat S1 and a rear seat S2, wherein the front seat S1 may correspond to a first row of seats, and the rear seat S2 may correspond to a second row of seats. In addition, a third row of seats may also be arranged as the rearmost seat S.
[0049] Specifically, since the suction duct 300 sucks the inside air below the front seat S1 , the inside air with less pollution is sucked into the battery housing 200 , and interference with an occupant or other structures is avoided.
[0050] The exhaust duct 400 is disposed below or at the side of the rear seat S2 so as not to interfere with other structures and prevents the air exhausted after cooling the battery module 210 from being transferred to the occupant.
[0051] In addition, the exhaust duct 400 may be configured to exhaust the air cooling the battery module 210 to the inside or outside of the motor vehicle. In other words, the exhaust duct 400 may be configured to be communicatively connected to the exhaust port 230 of the battery housing 200, and to extend downward or laterally from the rear seat S2 to exhaust the air to the inside or to extend to the outside to exhaust the air to the outside. In addition, by applying a valve structure, the exhaust duct 400 may be configured to selectively exhaust the air exhausted through the exhaust duct 400 to the inside or outside of the motor vehicle.
[0052] At the same time, since the battery housing 200 is arranged below the front seat S on the vehicle body floor 100, the intake duct 300 can be arranged below the front seat S, and the exhaust duct 400 can be arranged in front of the intake duct 300 below the front seat S and can extend from the front seat S toward the rear seat S.
[0053] As described above, since the battery housing 200 is disposed below the front seat S, a spare space such as a trunk space and a space for a spare tire can be ensured. In addition, the suction duct 300 connected to the battery housing 200 is disposed below the front seat S, the exhaust duct 400 is disposed in front of the suction duct 300 below the front seat S, and the exhaust duct 400 is formed to extend rearward from the front seat S.
[0054] In one embodiment, the battery module 210 may be disposed to be biased inwardly in the battery housing 200. As described above, since the battery module 210 is disposed to be biased inwardly in the battery housing 200, the impact applied to the battery module 210 when an external impact occurs can be reduced, and the intake duct 300 for circulating air for cooling the battery module 210 may be disposed to be biased to either side under the seat to avoid interference with the exhaust duct 400 and the air conditioning duct 500.
[0055] Furthermore, when the battery housing 200 is disposed below the front seat S, the foot space of the front seat can also be utilized depending on the size of the battery module 210. Therefore, the intake duct 300 for inhaling the internal air can be disposed below the seat because it should be configured to ensure a relatively large height, and the exhaust duct 400 can have a relatively small size because it has a shape extending rearward, so even when the exhaust duct 400 is disposed in front of the intake duct 300, interference with other components when extending rearward under the seat can be reduced.
[0056] Therefore, even when the suction duct 300 is disposed below the front seat S, the suction duct 300 does not interfere with the occupant's feet, and even when the exhaust duct 400 is below the front seat S and in front of the suction duct 300, the exhaust duct 400 can extend rearward along the bottom surface to ensure space for the occupant's lower body.
[0057] In one embodiment, Figure 3 As shown, the air conditioning duct 500 may include an inlet portion 510 connected to the air conditioner H and a plurality of outlet portions 520 branched by detouring (i.e. branching out) to both sides of the suction duct 300. Specifically, any one of the outlet portions 520, such as the outlet portion 520a, may extend to vertically overlap with the exhaust duct 400.
[0058] In other words, the air conditioning duct 500 is provided so that air conditioning air supplied from the air conditioner H is supplied to the rear seat S2, the inlet portion 510 is connected to the air conditioner H, and the plurality of outlet portions 520 extend to the rear of the motor vehicle.
[0059] In the air conditioning duct 500, any one of the outlet portions 520a (e.g., the first outlet portion) may extend to the front seat S1, and the other outlet portion 520b (e.g., the second outlet portion) may extend to the rear seat S2. Therefore, the first outlet portion 520a of the outlet portion 520 of the air conditioning duct 500 may provide conditioned air to the rear seat S2 (i.e., the second row of seats) below the front seat S1, and the other outlet portion 520b (i.e., the second outlet portion) may provide conditioned air to the third row of seats (i.e., the rearmost seats) below the rear seat S2 (i.e., the second row of seats).
[0060] Specifically, each outlet portion 520 of the air conditioning duct 500 may extend after detouring to both sides of the suction duct 300, and thus may be arranged to avoid interference with other components (including the seat S) under the seat S. In addition, any one of the plurality of outlet portions 520 may be configured to overlap with the exhaust duct 400 to optimize the arrangement of the air conditioning duct 500 and the exhaust duct 400 in the limited space under the seat S, and the cross-sectional area of each duct may be ensured by optimizing the arrangement, thereby providing a sufficient circulation amount of the conditioned air.
[0061] Specifically, the air conditioning duct 500 may be formed such that the outlet portion 520 a extending to the front seat S1 among the plurality of outlet portions 520 overlaps with the exhaust duct 400 .
[0062] In other words, since the outlet portion 520 of the air conditioning duct 500 and the exhaust duct 400 are arranged to overlap each other and thus the installation height thereof is increased, when the portion where the air conditioning duct 500 and the exhaust duct 400 overlap each other deviates from the lower side of the seat S, interference with the occupant may occur. Therefore, since the air conditioning duct 500 is configured so that only the outlet portion 520 extending to the front seat S1 among the plurality of outlet portions 520 overlaps with the exhaust duct 400, even when the exhaust duct 400 and the air conditioning duct 500 are arranged on the vehicle body floor 100, interference with the interior space can be minimized, thereby ensuring the comfort of the occupant. Here, since the outlet portion 520b extending to the rear seat S2 among the plurality of outlet portions 520 of the air conditioning duct 500 is embedded in the inner bottom surface, not only interference with the occupant sitting on the rear seat S2 can be avoided, but also boarding space can be ensured.
[0063] The outlet portion 520a of the air conditioning duct 500 overlapping the exhaust duct 400 may be located above the exhaust duct 400. As described above, the outlet portion 520 of the air conditioning duct 500 may be located above the exhaust duct 400, so that the occupant sitting on the rear seat S2 can be smoothly provided with air conditioning air. In addition, since the exhaust duct 400 is connected to the battery housing 200 in a communicative manner, the exhaust duct 400 is located above the battery housing 200, and the outlet portion 520 of the air conditioning duct 500 is arranged above the exhaust duct 400, not only the battery housing 200 and the exhaust duct 400 can be connected, but also the air conditioning duct 500 can be arranged so as not to interfere with the exhaust duct 400. Therefore, the assembly order can be set in the order of the battery housing 200, the exhaust duct 400, and the air conditioning duct 500, and each duct can be optimally arranged without interfering with each other, thereby reducing the installation space.
[0064] In one embodiment, Figure 3 As shown, the battery case 200 is disposed between the center of the motor vehicle and the outside of the motor vehicle, and a portion where the exhaust duct 400 and the air conditioning duct 500 overlap each other is disposed between the outside of the motor vehicle and the intake duct 300 .
[0065] As described above, since the battery case 200 is disposed between the center of the motor vehicle and the outside of the motor vehicle, the impact applied to the battery case 200 from the external impact may be reduced, thereby ensuring the collision performance of the battery case 200 .
[0066] In addition, since the intake duct 300 can be set in the battery housing 200 within the motor vehicle, and the exhaust duct 400 and parts of the air conditioning duct 500 can be set on the relatively outside of the motor vehicle, the impact applied from the outside of the motor vehicle can also be absorbed by each duct.
[0067] Furthermore, since various components other than the battery case 200 are disposed on the vehicle body floor 100 , the exhaust duct 400 and the air conditioning duct 500 may be disposed outside the motor vehicle to avoid interference with the components.
[0068] According to the above description, if Figure 5 As shown, in the present invention, the intake duct 300, the exhaust duct 400 and the air-conditioning duct 500 can be arranged between a pair of seat rails R in the following order from the inside of the motor vehicle to the outside of the motor vehicle: one seat rail R, the air-conditioning duct 500, the intake duct 300, the exhaust duct 400, and another seat rail R.
[0069] As described above, when the suction duct 300, the exhaust duct 400, and the air conditioning duct 500 are disposed between the pair of seat rails R, the suction duct 300 may be disposed close to the seat rail R located on the left side, depending on the installation position of the battery module 210. Therefore, since the battery module 210 is disposed in the battery case 200 within the motor vehicle, damage to the battery module 210 caused by an impact applied to the battery case 200 may be reduced.
[0070] In addition, since the air conditioning duct 500 extends while branching to both sides of the suction duct 300, the air conditioning duct 500 can extend while ensuring the directionality toward the rear seat. Specifically, since a part of the branch portion of the air conditioning duct 500 is arranged to overlap with the exhaust duct 400 at a position spaced apart from the suction duct 300, the cross-sectional area and the directionality can be ensured, thereby ensuring the circulation amount of air.
[0071] In addition, since the exhaust duct 400 is arranged close to the seat rail R on the right side and extends between the intake duct 300 and the seat rail R on the right side, the cross-sectional area can be easily ensured, and since the exhaust duct 400 is arranged on the outside of the motor vehicle, the collision performance can be ensured by absorbing the impact.
[0072] As described above, the duct apparatus for a motor vehicle may have the battery housing 200 disposed under the vehicle body floor 100 , thereby ensuring an internal space, and cooling the battery module 210 using internal air, thereby simplifying the cooling structure.
[0073] Specifically, since the intake duct 300, the exhaust duct 400 and the air-conditioning duct 500 are arranged in the unused space between the seat rails under the seat, the internal space can be ensured, and by optimizing the arrangement of the air-conditioning duct and the cooling duct of the battery module 210, the air conditioning and battery cooling efficiency can be ensured.
[0074] While specific embodiments of the present invention have been shown and described, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various improvements and modifications may be made to the present invention without departing from the technical spirit of the present invention.
