[0046] The present invention provides a method for preparing 1,3-dimethyl-5-pyrazolone, comprising the following steps:

[0047] (1) pumping an acetoacetate solution and a methylhydrazine solution into a microchannel reactor for hydrazinolysis reaction to obtain a mixed solution;

[0048] (2) The mixed solution obtained in step (1) is refluxed, crystallized and dried in sequence to obtain 1,3-dimethyl-5-pyrazolone.

[0049] The invention pumps an acetoacetate solution and a methylhydrazine solution into a microchannel reactor to carry out a hydrazinolysis reaction to obtain a mixed solution.

[0050] In the present invention, the acetoacetate is methyl acetoacetate or ethyl acetoacetate. The present invention limits the type of acetoacetate to the above range so that the reaction can proceed smoothly.

[0051] As an embodiment of the present invention, the concentration of the solution of acetoacetate can be 35-55wt%, 40-50wt%, or 45wt%. In the present invention, if the content of acetoacetate is too low, the reaction efficiency will be reduced, so that the material will not have enough time to fully react in the microchannel, thereby reducing the product yield; if the content of acetoacetate is too high, although the reaction efficiency can be improved, the by-product generation will increase, resulting in low product purity, and the heat release per unit time is large, and additional energy needs to be consumed for heat exchange, and there is a risk of crystal precipitation blocking the microchannel reactor. The present invention limits the concentration of acetoacetate in the solution of acetoacetate to the above range, which can effectively improve the reaction selectivity, reduce the generation of side reactions, and obtain a relatively high yield.

[0052] In the present invention, the solvent in the solution of acetoacetate is preferably toluene or xylene, more preferably toluene. The present invention limits the type of solvent to the above range that can better dissolve acetoacetate.

[0053] In the present invention, the molar ratio of acetoacetate to methylhydrazine is 1:(1.01-1.05), preferably 1:(1.02-1.04), more preferably 1:(1.02-1.03), and further preferably 1:1.025. In the present invention, when the molar ratio of acetoacetate to methylhydrazine is lower than 1:1.01, the material reaction is incomplete, resulting in a significant decrease in the yield of pyrazolone; when the molar ratio of acetoacetate to methylhydrazine is higher than 1:1.05, although the yield of pyrazolone is improved, the content of by-products is significantly increased, resulting in a low purity of the product. The present invention limits the molar ratio of acetoacetate to methylhydrazine to the above range, so that 1,3-dimethyl-5-pyrazolone can have a higher purity and yield.

[0054] As an embodiment of the present invention, the concentration of the methylhydrazine solution can be 35-45wt%, or 40wt%; the solvent in the methylhydrazine solution can be water. The present invention limits the solvent and concentration of the methylhydrazine solution to the above range to ensure smooth hydrazinolysis reaction.

[0055] As an embodiment of the present invention, the total capacity of the microchannel reactor is 1.5L; three groups of reaction modules are arranged inside the microchannel reactor; the reaction modules are made of 2205 stainless steel; each group of reaction modules is provided with a continuous microchannel with a cross-sectional area of 2.2mm×2.2mm; the cross-sectional shape of the microchannel includes circular, elliptical or polygonal.

[0056] As an embodiment of the present invention, a circulating heat exchange pipeline for heating and cooling is provided outside the microchannel reactor to control the reaction temperature.

[0057] As an embodiment of the present invention, the microchannel reactor controls each operating unit through a PLC control system; the operating unit includes a feed pump and a flow controller for the solution of acetoacetate and the solution of methylhydrazine, a temperature sensor and a pressure sensor of the microchannel reactor, and a heating and cooling system of a high and low temperature integrated machine.

[0058] In the present invention, the temperature of the hydrazinolysis reaction is 25 to 45°C, preferably 25 to 40°C, more preferably 25 to 35°C, and further preferably 25 to 30°C; the time of the hydrazinolysis reaction is 30 to 60s, preferably 30 to 50s, more preferably 30 to 45s, and further preferably 30 to 35s. In the present invention, when the reaction temperature is lower than 25°C, the reaction is incomplete, the residual acetoacetate in the product is high, and the yield decreases; when the reaction temperature is higher than 45°C, the content of by-products increases significantly; when the reaction time is less than 30s, the reaction is incomplete, the residual acetoacetate in the product is high, and the yield decreases; when the reaction time is greater than 60s, the content of by-products increases significantly. The present invention limits the temperature and time of the hydrazinolysis reaction to the above range, so that 1,3-dimethyl-5-pyrazolone can have a higher purity and yield.

[0059] In the present invention, taking methyl acetoacetate as a raw material, the chemical reaction equation of the hydrazinolysis reaction is:

[0060]

[0061] In the present invention, the temperature of the acetoacetate solution before being pumped into the microchannel reactor is 15 to 25°C, preferably 20 to 25°C. In the present invention, when the temperature of the acetoacetate solution is too low before being pumped into the microchannel reactor, the reaction efficiency will be affected, and the residual acetoacetate content in the product will increase; if the temperature is too high, it will be unfavorable for the control of the subsequent hydrazinolysis reaction temperature, and the temperature of the entire reaction will be too high to induce side reactions. The present invention limits the temperature of the acetoacetate solution before being pumped into the microchannel to within the above range, so that 1,3-dimethyl-5-pyrazolone can have a higher purity and yield.

[0062] In the present invention, the solvent of the acetoacetate solution is preferably first pumped into the microchannel reactor to fill the microchannels in the microchannel reactor before the acetoacetate solution and the methylhydrazine solution are pumped into the microchannel reactor. The present invention first pumps the solvent into the microchannel reactor to fill the microchannels in the microchannel reactor, which is conducive to smooth feeding and avoids uneven feeding and affecting the reaction.

[0063] As an embodiment of the present invention, the solvent is preheated to the hydrazinolysis reaction temperature in a preheating heat exchanger before being pumped into the microchannel reactor, and then pumped into the microchannel reactor after the temperature is stabilized.

[0064] After obtaining the mixed solution, the present invention sequentially refluxes, crystallizes and dries the mixed solution to obtain 1,3-dimethyl-5-pyrazolone.

[0065] As an embodiment of the present invention, the reflux can be carried out in a distillation kettle; the reflux temperature can be 80-120°C, 90-110°C, or 100°C; the reflux pressure can be normal pressure. In the present invention, the purpose of the reflux is to remove the water and methanol / ethanol generated by the reaction. If the reflux temperature is lower than 80°C, the dehydration is not complete, and a large amount of water and generated alcohol still exist in the system, resulting in a decrease in product yield; if the reflux temperature is higher than 120°C, side reactions occur and the product purity is reduced. The present invention limits the reflux temperature and pressure to the above range so that 1,3-dimethyl-5-pyrazolone has a higher purity and yield.

[0066] As an embodiment of the present invention, the crystallization can be carried out in a crystallization kettle; the crystallization temperature can be 10-20°C, or 15-20°C. In the present invention, if the crystallization temperature is lower than 10°C, the impurity content increases, and the energy consumption increases; if the crystallization temperature is higher than 20°C, some materials will not be precipitated from the solvent, resulting in a reduced yield. The present invention limits the crystallization temperature to the above range so that 1,3-dimethyl-5-pyrazolone has a higher purity and yield.

[0067] The present invention further comprises centrifugation after the crystallization. The present invention has no special limitation on the equipment and operation of the centrifugation, as long as it can achieve solid-liquid separation. In a specific embodiment of the present invention, the centrifugation equipment is preferably a centrifuge.

[0068] In the present invention, the drying is preferably vacuum drying; the drying is preferably carried out in a vacuum dryer.

[0069] As an embodiment of the present invention, the temperature of the vacuum drying can be 50 to 80°C, or 60 to 70°C; the pressure of the vacuum drying can be -0.085 to -0.095MPa. In the present invention, if the temperature is low and the pressure is high, the solvent in the product cannot be completely removed; if the temperature is higher than 80°C, pyrazolone will sublime, and the product yield will be reduced. The present invention limits the drying temperature and pressure to the above range to obtain a product with higher purity and yield.

[0070] The present invention can shorten the reaction time and improve the safety of preparation by pumping the reaction raw materials into the microchannel reactor and utilizing the fact that the microchannel reactor has a large number of small channels; the concentration of the raw material acetoacetate, the ratio of acetoacetate to methylhydrazine and the microchannel reactor are adjusted, and the parameters of the hydrazinolysis reaction are adjusted to make the reaction more complete and reduce the generation of side reaction products; and the temperature, crystallization and drying parameters of the acetoacetate solution before being pumped into the microchannel reactor are adjusted to further improve the purity and yield of 1,3-dimethyl-5-pyrazolone.

[0071] In a specific embodiment of the present invention, the preparation process of 1,3-dimethyl-5-pyrazolone is as follows Figure 1 As shown:

[0072] Toluene is first pumped into a preheating heat exchanger by using pump B for preheating and then pumped into a microchannel reactor. Then, a methylhydrazine solution and a methyl acetoacetate toluene solution with a mass fraction of 40% are simultaneously pumped into the microchannel reactor by using pumps A and B for hydrazinolysis reaction. The hydrazinolysis reaction product is refluxed through a distillation kettle. The refluxed product is sequentially crystallized, centrifuged and dried through a crystallization kettle, a centrifuge and a dryer to obtain 1,3-dimethyl-5-pyrazolone.

[0073] The technical solutions in the present invention will be described clearly and completely below in conjunction with the embodiments of the present invention. Obviously, the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, not all of them. Based on the embodiments of the present invention, all other embodiments obtained by ordinary technicians in this field without creative work are within the scope of protection of the present invention.
