AI Technical Summary
In the rod type connector, the fitting detection member is easily displaced from the detection position to the standby position when the release fitting force is applied, resulting in the fitting release of the connector.
A rod type connector is designed, and the arm portion and the fitting detection member are provided with a movement restriction portion. When the fitting detection member is arranged in the detection position, a directional force to be disengaged is applied, so that the detection member is inclined, and the movement restriction part is locked by each other, so that the detection member is shifted to the standby position side.
The fitting detection member is effectively suppressed from shifting from the detection position to the standby position, preventing the fitting of the connector from being released, and maintaining the fitting state even when the release fitting force is applied.

Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a rod type connector. Background Art
[0002] The lever-type connector has a lever for assisting the mating and disengagement with the mating connector based on the lever principle. When mating the lever-type connector with the mating connector, after the housings are initially mated with each other, the cam action between the cam groove and the cam follower that causes the lever to rotate from the initial position to the normal mating position allows the two connectors to be easily mated with less force.
[0003] As a connector as described above, a detection member is sometimes provided to detect a state (semi-mated state) in which the rod has not reached the mating position and the housing has not reached the normal mating state relative to the other side housing. The detection member stays at the standby position when the rod is in the semi-mated state, and can be shifted to the detection position when the rod reaches the mating position. That is, by shifting the detection member, it can be determined whether the rod has reached the mating state. Prior art literature Patent Literature
[0004] Patent Document 1: Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2003-133001 Summary of the invention Problems to be solved by the invention
[0005] For example, in Patent Document 1, when a force is applied to the rod in a direction of releasing the engagement while the rod is in the engagement position and the detection member is configured in the engagement detection position, a component force in a direction of displacement from the detection position to the standby position acts on the detection member, and there is a risk that the detection member will shift to the standby position. Solutions to Solve Problems
[0006] The present invention is a lever-type connector, comprising: a connector housing that can be mated with a mating connector; and a lever that can be rotated from a mating start position to a mating completion position around a rotation axis provided on a side surface of the connector housing, the lever comprising: an arm portion that is arranged along the side surface of the connector housing; and a mating detection member that is mounted on the arm portion, and when the lever reaches the mating completion position, the lever is allowed to be displaced from a standby position to a detection position, and when the lever is in a semi-mated position that has not reached the mating completion position, the lever is restricted from being displaced from the standby position to the detection position, and a movement restriction portion is provided on the arm portion and the mating detection member, and when the mating detection member is arranged at the detection position, a force in a direction of releasing the mating is applied to the arm portion, so that when the mating detection member is in an inclined position inclined from a normal position relative to the arm portion, the movement restriction portion restricts the mating detection member in the inclined position from being displaced to the standby position side by mutually locking, and when the mating detection member is in the normal position, the movement restriction portion allows the mating detection member to be displaced. Effects of the Invention
[0007] According to the lever-type connector of the present invention, even when a force in the mating release direction is applied to the lever with the mating detection member disposed at the detection position, the mating detection member is prevented from shifting from the detection position to the standby position to release the mating of the connector. [0009] [Description of Embodiments of the Invention] First, embodiments of the present invention will be described by way of examples.
[0010] (1) A lever-type connector according to the present invention comprises: a connector housing that can be mated with a mating connector; and a lever that can be rotated from a mating start position to a mating completion position about a rotation axis provided on a side surface of the connector housing, the lever comprising: an arm portion that is arranged along the side surface of the connector housing; and a mating detection member that is mounted on the arm portion, and is allowed to be displaced from a standby position to a detection position when the lever reaches the mating completion position, and is restricted from being displaced from the standby position to the detection position when the lever is in a semi-mated position that has not reached the mating completion position, wherein a movement restriction portion is provided on the arm portion and the mating detection member, and when the mating detection member is arranged at the detection position, a force in a mating release direction is applied to the arm portion so that the mating detection member is in an inclined position relative to the arm portion, the movement restriction portion restricts displacement of the mating detection member in the inclined position toward the standby position by mutually engaging with each other, and when the mating detection member is in the normal position, the movement restriction portion permits displacement of the mating detection member.
[0011] According to the above configuration, even if a force in the direction of releasing the mating is accidentally applied to the lever in the mating state, the mating detection member in the detection position is restricted from displacement to the standby position by the movement restriction portion. Therefore, the mating release of the connector can be suppressed.
[0012] (2) It may also be that a window portion is provided on the arm portion and passes through the arm portion, and the mating detection member includes a main body portion arranged along the connector housing, and a protrusion portion protruding in a manner rising from a plate surface of the main body portion and arranged in the window portion, the protrusion portion being capable of shifting between the standby position and the detection position in the window portion, and a mating completion side wall surface arranged on the mating completion position side in the inner peripheral surface of the window portion is provided with a locking portion protruding in a direction intersecting with the displacement direction of the protrusion, and the mating detection member in the inclined posture is stopped by a part of the protrusion on the locking portion, thereby being restricted from shifting toward the standby position side.
[0013] With such a configuration, it is possible to provide a specific mode of restricting the fitting detection member in the inclined posture from being displaced to the standby position when a force in the fitting release direction is applied to the lever in the fitted state.
[0014] (3) It may also be that the locking portion forms a protrusion, which is provided in an area of the mating completion side wall surface of the window portion corresponding to the protrusion arranged at the detection position, and a concave locking recess is provided on the protrusion, and the locking recess can receive the locking portion when the mating detection member is in the inclined posture, and the mating detection member in the inclined posture is locked to the locking recess by the locking portion, thereby limiting the displacement to the standby position side.
[0015] (4) It is also possible that a cutout portion is provided in an area of the mating completion side wall surface of the window portion corresponding to the protrusion arranged at the detection position, and the cutout portion is recessed from the mating completion side wall surface to accommodate a part of the protrusion in the inclined posture. The mating detection component in the inclined posture is stopped by a part of the protrusion on the opening edge of the cutout portion, thereby limiting displacement to the standby position side.
[0016] (5) It is also possible that an arc portion and a concave retreat recess are formed on the side surface of the connector housing, the arc portion is an arc-shaped protrusion centered on the rotation axis, and the mating detection member can be maintained at the standby position during the rotation of the rod. The retreat recess is connected to the arc portion, so that the mating detection member of the rod arranged at the mating completion position can be shifted to the detection position and retreated.
[0017] With such a structure, a specific mode can be provided in which the fitting detection member is held at the standby position during the rotation and can be displaced to the detection position when the fitting is completed.
[0018] [Details of Embodiments of the Invention] Specific examples of the lever-type connector of the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. The present invention is not limited to these examples but is shown by the claims, and is intended to include all modifications within the meaning and scope equivalent to the claims.
[0019] <Implementation Method 1> Reference Figures 1 to 11 Embodiment 1 is described. In the following description, the mating direction (X direction) with the other connector is referred to as the front, and the opposite side is referred to as the rear. In addition, the Y direction is referred to as the right, and the opposite side is referred to as the left. In addition, regarding the rod, the mating direction in the rotation direction ( Figure 1 ) as the mating completion direction, and turn the opposite side ( Figure 1 In addition, for convenience, the female terminal and the wire are omitted in the illustration.
[0020] The lever-type connector of this embodiment is a female connector 10 that is mated with a male connector (an example of a mating connector) 70. The female connector 10 includes a housing body (an example of a connector housing) 11 that holds a female terminal to which a terminal end of an electric wire is connected, a wire cover (an example of a connector housing) 20 assembled to the housing body 11, and a lever 30 also assembled to the housing body 11.
[0021] [Casing body 11] The housing body 11 is made of synthetic resin, and the inner housing holding the female terminal is held inside the outer housing 12. The inner housing is in a substantially square block shape and has a plurality of cavities extending in the front-rear direction, each of which can accommodate the female terminal and the terminal end of the wire connected to the female terminal.
[0022] The outer shell 12 is generally in the shape of a rectangular tube. Figure 1 and Figure 2 As shown, the outer housing 12 is configured to include an inner retaining wall 13 , two cover retaining walls 14 , two rod retaining walls 15 , and two rotation shafts 16 .
[0023] The inner retaining wall 13 has a substantially rectangular square tube shape and can retain the inner housing described above inside.
[0024] The two cover retaining walls 14 have a U-shaped cross section when viewed from the rear, extend in the front-rear direction, and are arranged facing each other. Figure 1 and Figure 2 As shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 , the cover retaining wall 14 overlaps the outer periphery of the inner retaining wall 13 in a manner that surrounds the wall portions of the shorter sides of the inner retaining wall 13 that are opposed to each other, and is formed to extend further rearward from the rear end of the inner retaining wall 13 ( Figure 1 The extended portion is provided with a locked portion for locking the wire cover 20.
[0025] The two rod holding walls 15 are located at the front end side of the wall portion of the longer side facing each other of the inner holding wall 13 ( Figure 1 The rod holding wall 15 is disposed with a space between it and the outer periphery of the inner holding wall 13. Both ends of each rod holding wall 15 extending in the front-rear direction are connected to the cover holding wall 14. Thus, a space open in the front-rear direction is formed between the rod holding wall 15 and the inner holding wall 13. This space becomes a rod storage portion that allows a part of the arm portion 32 of the rod 30 described later to enter.
[0026] Two rotation shafts 16 are provided in the rod storage portion so as to protrude from the inner surface of the rod holding wall 15 toward the inner holding wall 13. The rotation shaft 16 is a cylindrical shaft for supporting the rod 30 in a rotatable manner.
[0027] [Wire cover 20] The wire cover 20 is assembled to the housing body 11 so as to cover the back side, and is a member for protecting the wires led out of the inner housing and leading them out in a predetermined direction. The wire cover 20 is made of synthetic resin and is in a substantially box-shaped shape with the front and right sides open. Hereinafter, the wall extending in the left-right direction so as to cover the back side of the housing body 11 is referred to as the main wall 21 (see Figure 3 ), two walls extending forward from the side edge of the main wall 21 and arranged opposite to each other are used as the side wall 22. One end side (left side) of the main wall 21 is bent forward and connected to the left edge of the side wall 22.
[0028] An extended wall portion 23 extending forward is provided at the front end of the center portion of the side wall 22 in the longitudinal direction (left-right direction, Y direction). Figure 1 and Figure 2 As shown in FIG. 1 , the extended wall portion 23 is a substantially trapezoidal shape with a tapered end. When the wire cover 20 is assembled to the housing body 11 , the extended wall portion 23 is disposed on the outer periphery of the inner retaining wall 13 .
[0029] The main wall 21 of the wire cover 20 is provided with a cantilevered elastic locking piece 24 protruding backward. The elastic locking piece 24 is formed by cutting the main wall 21 from the left side to the right side into a U-shape, and can be elastically deformed in a direction intersecting the plate surface of the main wall 21. The right end of the elastic locking piece 24 abuts from the left side against the rotation operation portion 41 of the lever 30 in the mating completion position (see Figure 2 ), thereby limiting the rotation of the lever 30 from the mating completion position toward the mating start position.
[0030] The wire cover 20 has locking protrusions protruding outward at the right end of the main wall 21 and the left end of the side wall 22. The locking protrusions are engaged with the locked portions provided on the cover holding wall 14, so that the wire cover 20 is fixed to the housing body 11.
[0031] [Rod 30] The rod 30 is a member for assisting the mating and disengagement of the female connector 10 and the male connector 70. The rod 30 is made of synthetic resin, such as Figure 1 and Figure 2 As shown in the figures, it comprises: a rod body 31 rotatably assembled to the housing body (outer housing 12) 11; and a mating detection member 51 assembled to the rod body 31 for confirming that the mating between the housing body 11 and the male connector 70 is completed.
[0032] like Fig.10 As shown, the lever body 31 includes two arm portions 32 and a rotation operation portion 41 that connects one end side of the two arm portions 32. The two arm portions 32 are each in the shape of an elongated plate, and are disposed on both outer sides of the inner retaining wall 13 and face each other (see Figure 1 and Figure 3The top ends of the two arm portions 32 (the ends on the opposite side of the rotation operation portion 41) are respectively accommodated in the two rod accommodation portions and are respectively arranged along the two rod holding walls 15. Fig.10 As shown, each arm portion 32 includes: an axial hole 33 for receiving the rotating shaft 16; a gear portion 35 arranged around the axial hole 33; a window portion 36 for accommodating the fitting detection member 51; and a sliding guide portion 38 for slidingly moving the fitting detection member 51.
[0033] The shaft hole 33 is a circular hole disposed at the top end of the arm portion 32. A through recess 34 is disposed at the peripheral edge of the shaft hole 33, and the through recess 34 communicates with the shaft hole 33 to allow the anti-drop protrusion 17 (see Figure 1 The gear portion 35 is disposed on the inner surface of the arm portion 32 that is opposite to the inner retaining wall 13, and includes first gear teeth 35A and second gear teeth 35B that extend to surround the shaft hole 33. The first gear teeth 35A and the second gear teeth 35B are disposed at intervals.
[0034] The window portion 36 is a through hole disposed in the arm portion 32 at a position closer to the rotation operation portion 41 than the shaft hole 33. The window portion 36 has a rectangular shape and is disposed in a direction in which the longitudinal direction coincides with the direction in which the arm portion 32 extends.
[0035] The slide guide 38 is formed on the inner surface (opposing surface) of the arm 32 and rises in a U-shape along the edge of the hole in the window 36 except the edge of the hole on the side of the rotation operation portion 41, forming a U-shaped vertical axis extending in the direction of extension of the arm 32 ( Fig.10 The inner wall surface of the groove wall (wall portion arranged opposite to each other) formed by the sliding guide portion 38 is coplanarly connected to the inner peripheral surface of the window portion 36. In the following, it is assumed that the inner wall surface of the sliding guide portion 38 is included in the inner peripheral surface of the window portion 36 for explanation.
[0036] The inner peripheral surface of the window portion 36 is arranged on the mating completion position side ( Figure 2 The wall surface (the mating completion side wall surface 36A) on the right side of the window portion 36 is provided with a rectangular protrusion 37 (see Figure 6 and Fig.10 In the present embodiment, the protrusion 37 is provided at a position coplanarly connected to the inner surface (surface on the sliding guide 38 side) of the arm 32 at a substantially central portion in the longitudinal direction of the window 36 (see Fig.10 ). That is, the protrusion portion 37 protrudes from the inner wall surface of the slide guide portion 38.
[0037] like Fig.10As shown, the rotation operation portion 41 includes a first bridge portion 42 and a second bridge portion 43 that connect the ends of the two arm portions 32, and a third bridge portion 44 that connects the first bridge portion 42 and the second bridge portion 43 at a central position between the two arm portions 32. The space defined by the three bridge portions 42, 43, and 44 serves as a detection member storage portion 45 that stores a press-in operation portion 53 of the fitting detection member 51 to be described later.
[0038] like Fig.11 As shown, the fitting detection member 51 includes: two detection member side arm portions (an example of a main body portion) 52 facing each other and arranged along the side surface of the wire cover 20; a press-in operation portion 53 connecting one end portions of the two detection member side arm portions 52 to each other; and a guide portion 54 and a protrusion 61 protruding from the two detection member side arm portions 52. The width dimension of the detection member side arm portion 52 is generally equal to the width dimension of the above-mentioned window portion 36.
[0039] The guide portion 54 is located near the top side of the detection member side arm portion 52 on the side opposite to the push-in operation portion 53, and is a protrusion protruding in an L shape from the inner surface of the detection member side arm portion 52 facing the other side. Figure 2 The guide body 55 extends along the extension direction of the detection member side arm portion 52, and the guide body 55 extends from the top end side (opposite side of the push-in operation portion 53) toward the mating start direction side ( Figure 2 The contact portion 56 is formed by extending from the edge of the left side of the body.
[0040] The guide portion 54 is set so that, when the fitting detection member 51 is assembled to the rod body 31, its inner surface is located inside the inner surface of the sliding guide portion 38 (see Figure 3 and Figure 5 ).
[0041] The protrusion 61 is located adjacent to the top end of the detection member side arm portion 52, and is a protrusion that protrudes from the outer surface on the side opposite to the inner surface in the detection member side arm portion 52 in a manner of standing up relative to the plate surface. In detail, the protrusion 61 is a trapezoid when viewed from the side, and comprises: a standing portion 62 that stands vertically from the plate surface of the detection member side arm portion 52 toward the outside; a parallel portion 63 that extends from the top end of the standing portion 62 toward the top end side of the detection member side arm portion 52 in parallel with the plate surface of the detection member side arm portion 52; and an inclined portion 64 that is inclined from the parallel portion 63 to the top end side of the detection member side arm portion 52 toward the plate surface of the detection member side arm portion 52.
[0042] The protrusion 61 has a hollow portion surrounded by the rising portion 62, the parallel portion 63, the inclined portion 64 and the guide body 55. The hollow portion is recessed from the surface of the detection member side arm portion 52 on the mating completion side to form a locking recess 67 of a size capable of receiving the above-mentioned protrusion 37.
[0043] like Figure 6 and Fig.11 As shown, in a pair of side edges of the protruding portion 61, Figure 2 A cutout 65 is provided at the side edge of the right side (the side where the mating is completed) of the detection member side arm portion 52, which is cut from the top end of the detection member side arm portion 52 along the side edge. That is, through the cutout 65, the width dimension of the top end of the detection member side arm portion 52 is slightly smaller than the width dimension of the window portion 36, and there is a gap between the top end and the inner peripheral wall of the window portion 36. The cutout 65 extends from the top end of the detection member side arm portion 52 to a position adjacent to the parallel portion 63 of the protrusion 61.
[0044] In addition, a rail portion 66 is formed on the detection member side arm portion 52 in a shape in which the outer surface is cut continuously along the side edge portion from the end of the cutout portion 65 on the side of the press-in operation portion 53. That is, the rail portion 66 is a portion extending in a thin plate shape along the side edge portion on the inner surface side of the detection member side arm portion 52. By moving the above-mentioned protruding strip portion 37 along the rail portion 66, a smooth displacement action of the fitting detection member 51 can be guided.
[0045] like Figure 3 and Figure 5 As shown, regarding the rod body 31 and the mating detection member 51, the pressing operation portion 53 of the mating detection member 51 and a part of the detection member side arm portion 52 can be stored in the detection member storage portion 45 of the rod body 31, and the two detection member side arm portions 52 of the mating detection member 51 are respectively assembled in a manner that they can be slidably stored in the two sliding guide portions 38 of the rod body 31. In this state, the guide portion 54 of the mating detection member 51 is set to be configured to protrude from the inner surface of the arm portion 32 (sliding guide portion 38) of the rod body 31 (refer to Figure 3 and Figure 5 ). In addition, the two protrusions 61 protrude toward the inside of the two window portions 36, respectively. The protruding direction of the protrusion 61 is consistent with the penetration direction of the window portion 36.
[0046] The fitting detection member 51 can be in a standby position ( Figure 2 and Figure 3 The detection position (shown in the figure) in which the detection member storage portion 45 is integrally accommodated with the push-in operation portion 53 and is not exposed from the rotation operation portion 41 Figure 4 and Figure 5 positions shown).
[0047] Furthermore, when the fitting detection member 51 is in the standby position, the protrusion 37 protruding from the inner peripheral wall of the window 36 is set to overlap the cutout 65 of the detection member side arm 52 of the fitting detection member 51 .
[0048] In addition, when the fitting detection member 51 is arranged at the detection position, the protrusion 37 is set to overlap with the rail portion 66 of the fitting detection member 51 from the outside, so that the protrusion 61 is restricted from moving outward (see Figure 6 ). In addition, at this time, the locking recessed portion 67 provided in the protruding portion 61 is set to be arranged at a position facing the protruding strip portion 37.
[0049] like Figure 1 and Figure 2 As shown, the two arms 32 of the lever 30 are respectively accommodated in the two lever accommodation parts of the housing body 11. The top end side of the outer surface of the arm 32 is arranged along the lever holding wall 15. In addition, the inner surface of the arm 32 is arranged along the inner holding wall 13 and the wire cover 20.
[0050] The rod 30 can rotate around the rotation axis 16 in the mating start position ( Figure 1 The position shown) and the mating completion position ( Figure 2 When the lever 30 is located at the mating start position, it is arranged in a posture inclined obliquely to the left relative to the housing body 11. When the lever 30 is located at the mating completion position, it is arranged in a posture inclined obliquely to the right relative to the housing body 11.
[0051] The arc portion 25 is provided on the side surface of the wire cover 20. The arc portion 25 protrudes outward in an arc shape with the rotation axis 16 as the center, and can hold the mating detection member 51 in the standby position during the rotation of the rod 30. The mating detection member 51 is set so that the lower end of the contact portion 56 of the guide portion 54 slides on the arc portion 25 during the rotation of the rod 30, so that the mating detection member 51 is held in the standby position.
[0052] In addition, on the side surface of the wire cover 20, the arc portion 25 is connected to the arc portion 25 so as to extend forward from the arc portion 25 ( Figure 1 The recessed retreat recess 26 is formed in a concave manner (below the lever 30), and the retreat recess 26 can make the mating detection member 51 of the lever 30 arranged at the mating completion position shift from the standby position to the detection position to retreat. As a result, the mating detection member 51 of the lever 30 at the mating completion position can shift toward the front (detection position), so that the completion of mating can be detected. In addition, the mating detection member 51 is roughly and tightly embedded in the retreat recess 26, thereby preventing the rotation operation of the lever 30.
[0053] [Male connector 70] like Figure 1As shown, the male connector 70 (an example of a mating connector) includes a bottom plate portion 71 and a cylindrical cover portion 72 extending from the bottom plate portion 71. The male connector 70 holds a male terminal connected to a female terminal held in the inner housing.
[0054] Although not shown in the figure, a gear support portion is supported on the outer surface of the cover portion 72, and the gear support portion corresponds to the gear portion 35 provided on each of the two arm portions 32 of the lever 30. The male connector 70 and the female connector 10 are mated with each other by the cam action of the gear portion 35 and the gear support portion caused by the rotation operation of the lever 30.
[0055] [Mating of the Female Connector 10 and the Male Connector 70] Next, an example of the steps for fitting the female connector 10 and the male connector 70 of the above structure is described below. Figure 1 As shown, with the lever 30 at the mating start position, the housing body 11 of the female connector 10 and the male connector 70 are shallowly mated, and the tip of the cover 72 enters the mating space of the housing body 11 .
[0056] At this time, the mating detection member 51 assembled to the rod body 31 is in a standby position in which the push-in operation portion 53 is exposed upward from the detection member storage portion 45 of the rotation operation portion 41. In addition, the mating detection member 51 is held in the standby position by the contact portion 56 of the guide portion 54 of the detection member side arm portion 52 being placed on the upper surface of the arc portion 25.
[0057] Next, the rod 30 is moved from the mating start position (see Figure 1 ) toward the mating completion position (refer to Figure 2 ) is rotated. During this rotation, the contact portion 56 of the guide portion 54 slides on the upper surface of the arc portion 25, so the mating detection member 51 is maintained in the standby position. With the rotation of the rod 30, the housing body 11 is relatively pulled toward the male connector 70 by the action of a cam (not shown) to perform mating.
[0058] When the female connector 10 and the male connector 70 are mated, as shown in FIG. Figure 2 and Figure 3 As shown, when the rod 30 reaches the mating completion position, the housing body 11 reaches the regular mating position relative to the male connector 70. Before the rod 30 reaches the mating completion position, the rotation operation portion 41 of the rod 30 abuts against the elastic locking piece 24 of the wire cover 20 and is gradually pressed down, and at the same time as reaching the mating position, it passes over the elastic locking piece 24. As a result, the elastic locking piece 24 is elastically reset and locked to the surface on the opposite side of the rotation direction of the rotation operation portion 41 of the rod 30. As a result, the rotation of the rod 30 to the opposite side of the rotation direction is restricted, and the rod 30 is locked in the mating position.
[0059] Next, the push-in operation portion 53 of the fitting detection member 51 is pushed into the detection member storage portion 45 of the lever body 31, so that the fitting detection member 51 in the standby position is shifted to the detection position (see Figure 4 and Figure 5 At this time, the protrusion 61 disposed in the window portion 36 of the lever body 31 relatively moves along the protrusion 37 via the rail portion 66, thereby smoothly shifting from the standby position to the detection position.
[0060] In this way, a force in the direction of releasing the mating may be applied to the rod 30 of the female connector 10 in the mating state where the mating detection member 51 is arranged at the detection position. When such a force is applied, the rod body 31 tends to move more relative to the mating detection member 51 (detection member side arm portion 52) in the state of being embedded in the retreat recess 26 of the wire cover 20, so that the posture of the mating detection member 51 relative to the rod body 31 may become an inclined posture from the normal posture. Specifically, Figure 8 As shown in FIG. 1 , the protrusion 61 is in a state of being inclined relative to the window portion 36 .
[0061] However, in the present embodiment, when the mating detection member 51 is tilted relative to the posture of the rod body 31, the protrusion 37 provided on the window portion 36 is embedded in the locking recess 67 formed in the protrusion 61. Therefore, even if a component force is applied to the mating detection member 51 in a direction of displacement toward the standby position side, the mating detection member 51 can be restricted from moving from the detection position to the standby position side by the locking structure (an example of a movement restriction portion) of the protrusion 37 and the locking recess 67, thereby suppressing accidental mating release.
[0062] Thus, in the lever 30 of this embodiment, when the fitting detection member 51 is in a normal position relative to the lever body 31, the protrusion 37 and the locking recess 67 do not interfere with each other, and only when the lever 30 is in an inclined position, they are locked to each other and their relative displacement is restricted.
[0063] Next, the effects of the present embodiment constructed as described above will be described. The female connector 10 of the present embodiment comprises: a housing body 11, which can be mated with the male connector 70; and a rod 30, which can be rotated from a mating start position to a mating completion position around a rotation axis 16 provided on the side of the wire cover 20 assembled to the housing body 11, wherein the rod 30 comprises: an arm 32, which is arranged along the side of the housing body 11; and a mating detection member 51, which is mounted on the arm 32 and is allowed to shift from the standby position to the detection position when the rod 30 reaches the mating completion position, and when the rod 30 is in the mating completion position, the rod 30 is rotated from the standby position to the detection position. When the semi-engaged position having not reached the engagement completion position is reached, displacement from the standby position to the detection position is restricted. The arm 32 and the engagement detection member 51 are provided with a protrusion 37 and a locking recess 67. When the engagement detection member 51 is arranged at the detection position, a force is applied to the arm 32 so that the engagement detection member 51 becomes an inclined posture relative to the arm 32 from the normal posture. The protrusion 37 and the locking recess 67 restrict displacement of the engagement detection member 51 in the inclined posture toward the standby position side by locking with each other.
[0064] According to the above structure, when the mating detection member 51 is arranged in the detection position, a force in the direction of releasing the mating is applied to the arm portion 32, so that the mating detection member 51 is in an inclined posture relative to the arm portion 32 from the normal posture. Even if a component force is applied to the mating detection member 51 in the direction of shifting toward the standby position side, the mating detection member 51 is restricted from shifting to the standby position by the locking structure (movement limiting portion) with the arm portion 32.
[0065] In addition, a window portion 36 penetrating the arm portion 32 is provided on the arm portion 32, and the mating detection component 51 includes a detection component side arm portion 52 arranged along the shell body 11, and a protrusion 61 protruding in a manner of standing up from the plate surface of the detection component side arm portion 52 and arranged in the window portion 36, the protrusion 61 can be shifted between the standby position and the detection position in the window portion 36, and a mating completion side wall surface 36A arranged on the mating completion position side in the inner peripheral surface of the window portion 36 is provided with a protrusion portion 37 protruding in a direction intersecting with the displacement direction of the protrusion 61, and the mating detection component 51 in an inclined posture is stopped by the protrusion portion 37 by a part of the protrusion 61, thereby limiting the displacement to the standby position side.
[0066] Furthermore, the protrusion 37 is arranged in an area of the mating completion side wall surface 36A of the window portion 36 corresponding to the protrusion 61 arranged at the detection position, and a concave locking recess 67 is provided on the protrusion 61. The locking recess 67 can accommodate the protrusion 37 when the mating detection component 51 is in an inclined posture. The mating detection component 51 in the inclined posture is locked to the locking recess 67 by the protrusion 37, thereby restricting the displacement to the standby position side.
[0067] With such a configuration, it is possible to specifically suppress the fitting detection member 51 in the inclined posture from being displaced toward the standby position side.
[0068] In addition, an arc portion 25 and a concave retreat recess 26 are formed on the side of the wire cover 20. The arc portion 25 is an arc-shaped protrusion centered on the rotation axis 16, and can maintain the mating detection component 51 in the standby position during the rotation of the rod 30. The retreat recess 26 is connected to the arc portion 25, so that the mating detection component 51 of the rod 30 arranged in the mating completion position can be shifted and retreated to the detection position.
[0069] With such a structure, the fitting detection member 51 of the lever 30 in the process of rotating can be held at the standby position, and the fitting detection member 51 of the lever 30 arranged at the fitting completion position can be moved to the detection position and held at the detection position.
[0070] <Implementation Method 2> Next, use Figures 12 to 22 Embodiment 2 will be described. In the following, only the configurations that are different from Embodiment 1 will be described, and the same configurations as those in Embodiment 1 are denoted by the same reference numerals, and duplicate descriptions will be omitted.
[0071] In the female connector 120 (an example of a lever-type connector) of the present embodiment, the locking structure (the structure of the movement restricting portion) of the lever body 81 and the fitting detection member 101 when the fitting detection member 101 is in an inclined position relative to the lever body 81 is different from that of the above-mentioned embodiment 1. Specifically, the locking structure of the protrusion 111 relative to the window portion 86 is different from that of the above-mentioned embodiment 1.
[0072] like Fig.21 As shown, the window portion 86 of the rod body 81 of the present embodiment is formed in a rectangular shape, and the top end side (the end side on the opposite side of the rotation operation part 91) of the fitting completion side wall surface 86A in the inner circumferential surface of the window portion 86 is expanded in diameter obliquely toward the top end side and cut into a concave shape. The opening of the cutout portion 96 is set at a position in the fitting completion side wall surface 86A of the window portion 86 where the rising portion 112 of the protrusion 111 arranged at the detection position can enter the cutout portion 96. That is, the cutout portion 96 is set in the area corresponding to the protrusion 111 arranged at the detection position. In the following, the portion of the window portion 86 located on the side of the rotation operation part 91 is referred to as the small width portion 97, and the portion located on the top end side and formed to be wider than the small width portion 97 through the cutout portion 96 is referred to as the large width portion 98.
[0073] The width dimension of the detection member side arm portion 102 of the fitting detection member 101 of this embodiment is generally substantially equal to the width dimension of the small width portion 97 of the window portion 86. That is, the width dimension of the detection member side arm portion 102 is smaller than the width dimension of the large width portion 98. In addition, similarly to the first embodiment, a guide portion 104 protruding in an L shape is provided on the inner surface of the detection member side arm portion 102.
[0074] In the female connector 120 of this embodiment, when the mating detection member 101 is arranged at the detection position, a force in the direction of releasing the mating is applied to the rod 80, and sometimes the posture of the mating detection member 101 relative to the rod body 81 becomes an inclined posture from the normal posture. Specifically, Fig.19 As shown, the protrusion 111 may be inclined relative to the window 86 .
[0075] However, in the present embodiment, when the mating detection member 101 is tilted relative to the posture of the rod body 81, a part of the protrusion 111 is inserted into the cutout portion 96 while being tilted, and the rising portion 112 of the protrusion 111 is locked to the boundary portion of the narrow width portion 97 and the wide width portion 98, that is, the opening edge portion 96A of the cutout portion 96. Therefore, even if a force is applied to the mating detection member 101 in a direction of displacement toward the standby position side, the mating detection member 101 can be restricted from moving from the detection position to the standby position side by the locking structure (an example of a movement restriction portion) between the protrusion 111 and the opening edge portion 96A of the cutout portion 96 (the boundary portion between the narrow width portion 97 and the wide width portion 98), thereby preventing the mating from being released accidentally.
[0076] Thus, according to the female connector 120 of the present embodiment, a cutout portion 96 is provided in an area corresponding to the protrusion 111 arranged at the detection position in the mating completion side wall surface 86A of the window portion 86, and the cutout portion 96 is recessed from the mating completion side wall surface 86A and can accommodate a part of the protrusion 111 in an inclined posture, so that the area outside the cutout portion 96 (the wall surface of the small width portion 97) becomes a portion protruding into the window portion 86, and the mating detection component 101 in an inclined posture is stopped at the opening edge portion (the boundary portion between the small width portion 97 and the large width portion 98) 96A of the cutout portion 96, thereby limiting the displacement to the standby position side.
[0077] In addition, the rod 80 of this embodiment is the same as the above-mentioned embodiment 1. When the mating detection member 101 is in a normal posture relative to the rod body 81, the protrusion 111 and the opening edge 96A of the cut-out portion 96 do not interfere with each other, and only when they are in an inclined posture, they are locked with each other to limit relative displacement.
[0078] Furthermore, according to the present embodiment, when the fitting detection member 101 is a conventional component, it is sufficient to change only the lever body 81 to a member having the cutout portion 96 in the window portion 86 , so that the production cost is excellent.
[0079] <Other Implementation Methods> The present invention is not limited to the embodiments described in the above description and drawings, and for example, the following embodiments are also included in the technical scope.
[0080] (1) In the above embodiment, the movement restricting portion is provided on the inner surface of the inner peripheral wall of the window portion on the mating completion position side. However, a movement restricting portion of the same structure may be provided on the inner surface on the mating start position side.
[0081] (2) In the first embodiment, the projection 37 is locked in the locking recess 67 of the inclined protrusion 61 to limit the displacement of the mating detection member 51 to the standby position. However, for example, the projection may be directly locked to the rising surface of the protrusion.
[0082] (3) In the above-mentioned embodiment, a method is shown in which the protrusion 61 of the interlocking detection member 51 protrudes in a direction rising from the plate surface of the detection member side arm portion 52, but it can also be constructed so that the protrusion protrudes in a direction along the plate surface of the detection member side arm portion and is locked with a locking portion provided on the arm portion.
