Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of liquid cooling radiators, and in particular to an integrated liquid cooling radiator for cooling and dissipating heat for a processor. Background Art

[0002] The liquid cooling radiator used in today's computers and servers uses a liquid pump to drive the flow of liquid to remove the heat from the processor. Compared with traditional air cooling, liquid cooling has the advantages of being quiet, highly efficient, having low processor temperature, and having low reliance on the environment. The heat dissipation performance of a liquid cooling radiator is proportional to the flow rate of the coolant, which is related to the power of the liquid pump. The high heat capacity of the liquid also increases the heat load capacity. Conventional liquid cooling radiators are usually separate, including units such as a liquid cooling row, a liquid cooling head, and a liquid pump, which are connected by multiple liquid pipes, but the structure is not compact and is inconvenient to install. For this reason, the inventor of this case has proposed a variety of integrated liquid cooling radiator designs, such as patent announcements I765680 and I848779, to address the above-mentioned shortcomings.

[0003] However, in the field of integrated liquid cooling radiators, if the liquid cannot be evenly distributed and flow through each row of tubes, uneven heat dissipation efficiency will result. Specifically, when the flow rate of the coolant in some rows of tubes is larger and smaller in other rows of tubes, this will cause the heat to not be effectively carried away, resulting in reduced heat dissipation efficiency in certain areas. This uneven circulation may cause the temperature distribution of the processor to be unbalanced, thereby affecting its stability and performance. On the other hand, if the liquid flow rate is too fast, although the total flow rate of the radiator can be increased, the liquid does not have enough residence time to effectively absorb heat when flowing through the heat dissipation tubes and the liquid cooling head. In this way, the heat cannot be fully transferred to the coolant, resulting in insufficient overall heat dissipation. The ideal situation is to maintain an appropriate flow rate so that the liquid has enough time to absorb heat, but not to cause the flow rate to be too slow and affect the circulation efficiency of the coolant. Therefore, how to improve the defects of the above-mentioned conventional technology is the subject that the present invention actively overcomes. Summary of the invention

[0016] The integrated liquid cooling radiator of the present invention can achieve the following effects:

[0017] (I) Slowing down the flow rate of the cooling liquid: The flow divider can slow down the flow rate of the cooling liquid into the liquid cooling head by setting multiple through holes in the cooling liquid cavity. This flow rate control helps to prolong the residence time of the liquid in the first row of tubes, improve the heat exchange efficiency between the liquid and the heat sink fins, and fully cool the liquid.

[0018] (ii) Uniform cooling: The flow divider can help the liquid to be evenly distributed in the first row of tubes, ensuring that the cold liquid can flow evenly through each first row of tubes. This uniform flow can avoid the situation where the liquid flows too fast in a certain row of tubes, allowing the liquid to dissipate heat evenly, thereby improving the overall heat dissipation efficiency.

[0019] (iii) Preventing heat transfer from hot liquid to cold liquid: Through the design of the heat-resistant structure, the hot liquid flowing into the hot liquid chamber cannot be heat-transferred to the cold liquid in the adjacent cold liquid chamber, thereby preventing the cooled cold liquid from being heated again, which can improve the cooling efficiency of the liquid cooling head. [0064] The technical features, structures and other functions, purposes and effects of the present invention are described in detail as follows according to the accompanying drawings:

[0065] See also Figure 1 As shown, the present invention is an integrated liquid cooling radiator, and its first preferred embodiment includes a liquid cooling row 100, a liquid cooling head 200 and a liquid pump 300, wherein:

[0066] See also Figure 2 and Figure 3 As shown, the liquid cooling row 100 has a first liquid box 10, a second liquid box 20 and a heat dissipation row pipe group 30. The first liquid box 10 and the second liquid box 20 are hollow boxes made of heat dissipation metal (such as aluminum alloy), which are used to inject working liquid (water or other coolant) into the first liquid box 10 and the second liquid box 20. The heat dissipation row pipe group 30 includes a plurality of first rows of pipes 31, second rows of pipes 32 and heat dissipation fins 33 arranged in parallel and spaced relation; the first rows of pipes 31 and the second rows of pipes 32 are flat metal pipes, and the two ends thereof are respectively combined and connected to the first liquid box 10 and the second liquid box 20; the heat dissipation fins 33 are respectively arranged outside the first rows of pipes 31 and the second rows of pipes 32.

[0067] One side of the liquid cooling head 200 is connected to the outside of the bottom wall of the first liquid box 10, so that the bottom wall of the first liquid box 10 is directly connected to the liquid cooling head 200 through a connecting structure; the other side of the liquid cooling head 200 is used to be attached to a chip processor (not shown) to cool the chip processor. The liquid pump 300 is set in the second liquid box 20 to drive the working liquid in the liquid cooling row 100 to circulate between the first liquid box 10, the second liquid box 20, the heat dissipation pipe group 30 and the liquid cooling head 200 in sequence (such as Figure 4 shown).

[0068] See also Figure 5 and Figure 6 As shown, the preferred embodiment of the first liquid box 10 of the present invention comprises a first box body 11 and a first box cover 12. The first box body 11 is a box body formed by integral stamping of aluminum alloy, and its upper end is concave to form a first chamber, and the interior of the first chamber is divided into a cold liquid chamber 14 and a hot liquid chamber 15 by a heat-resisting structure 13, and the bottoms of the cold liquid chamber 14 and the hot liquid chamber 15 are connected to the interior of the above-mentioned liquid cooling head 200 through a cold liquid hole 141 and a hot liquid hole 151 respectively ( Figure 4 The first box cover 12 is a cover body formed by integral stamping of aluminum alloy, which covers and is welded to the box opening at the upper end of the first box body 11. The top wall of the first box cover 12 is provided with a plurality of first row tube insertion holes 121 connected to the cold liquid chamber 14 and the hot liquid chamber 15, so that the lower ends of the first row tubes 31 and the second row tubes 32 are respectively inserted into the first row tube insertion holes 121, so that one end (lower end) of the first row tube 31 can be connected to the cold liquid chamber 14, and one end (lower end) of the second row tube 32 can be connected to the hot liquid chamber 15. In the present invention, a flow dividing baffle 16 is further provided in the cold liquid chamber 14. The flow dividing baffle 16 is provided with a plurality of through holes 164 connecting the two sides thereof. Through the setting of the flow dividing baffle 16, the liquid (cold liquid) flowing into the cold liquid chamber 14 from the first row of tubes 31 first passes through the plurality of through holes 164, completes flow rate regulation, and then flows into the interior of the liquid cooling head 200 through the cold liquid hole 141.

[0069] See also Figure 6 and Figure 7 As shown, the preferred embodiment of the above-mentioned diversion baffle 16 is a metal plate formed by bending in one piece, such as an aluminum alloy plate, which has a first plate 161 corresponding to the first row of pipe jacks 121 of the first box cover 12, a second plate 162 connected to one end of the first plate 161, and a third plate 163 connected to the other end of the first plate 161. The bending direction and angle of the second plate 162 and the third plate 163 can be adjusted according to the internal space of the first box body 11 without limitation. One of the preferred implementations is to combine and fix the second plate 162 to one side of the above-mentioned heat-resistant structure 13, and the end of the third plate 163 is combined and fixed (for example, welded) to the inner surface ( Figure 4 ). Thus, a plurality of through holes 164 are provided on the first plate 161, so that the plurality of through holes 164 correspond to the first row of pipe insertion holes 121 (one end of the first row of pipes 31). The arrangement state and range of the plurality of through holes 164 can be changed according to the demand for regulating water flow, and the plurality of through holes 164 can also be provided on the second plate 162 or the third plate 163.

[0070] The second plate 162 on one side of the flow dividing baffle 16 can be welded to one side of the heat-resistance structure 13 by a welding structure, and the welding method is CAB furnace brazing or aluminum alloy vacuum chamber welding. Figure 6 and Figure 7 As shown, two positioning holes 165 can be provided on one side of the second plate 162 corresponding to the heat-resistant structure 13, and two positioning protrusions 133 can be provided on one side of the heat-resistant structure 13. During assembly, the positioning protrusions 133 are embedded in the positioning holes 165, thereby fixing the diverter baffle 16 to one side of the heat-resistant structure 13; if necessary, welding can also be performed through the above-mentioned welding method.

[0071] See also Figure 4 , Figure 5 and Figure 6 As shown, the heat-resisting structure 13 preferably includes a cold liquid partition 131 and a hot liquid partition 132, which are arranged in parallel and transversely in the first chamber of the first box body 11 to separate the cold liquid chamber 14 and the hot liquid chamber 15. In addition, the periphery of the cold liquid partition 131 and the hot liquid partition 132 are welded to the inner wall of the first chamber and the inner wall of the first box cover 12 in the above-mentioned welding method. In this way, the second plate 162 of the above-mentioned diverter partition 16 can be combined and fixed to one side of the cold liquid partition 131 in the above-mentioned assembly or welding structure.

[0072] Through the above structural design, the present invention can utilize the multiple through holes 164 of the diverter baffle 16 to control the flow rate of the liquid (cold liquid) flowing into the liquid cooling head 200. Through this flow rate control, it is helpful to extend the residence time of the liquid in the first row of pipes 31, improve the heat exchange efficiency between the liquid and the heat sink fins 33, fully cool the liquid, and improve the cooling effect on the processor. Moreover, the diverter baffle 16 can help the liquid to be evenly distributed in the first row of pipes 31, ensuring that the liquid (cold liquid) can flow evenly through each first row of pipes 31. By controlling the uniform flow of the liquid, it is possible to avoid the situation where the liquid flows too fast in a certain row of pipes, so that the liquid dissipates heat evenly, thereby improving the working efficiency of the entire heat dissipation. In addition, the present invention forms a heat-resistant space that cannot conduct heat between the cold liquid baffle 131 and the hot liquid baffle 132 through the design of the heat-resistant structure 13, so that the hot liquid flowing into the hot liquid chamber 15 cannot be heat-conducted to the cold liquid in the adjacent cold liquid chamber 14, preventing the cooled cold liquid from being heated again, and improving the cooling efficiency of the liquid cooling head.

[0073] See also Figures 2 to 4 and Figure 8 As shown, the second liquid box 20 of the present invention can be preferably implemented as a structure for installing the liquid pump 300, which has a second box body 21, a second partition plate 22 and a second box cover 23. The upper end of the second box body 21 is concave to form a second chamber. The second partition plate 22 is arranged inside the second chamber, and the second chamber is divided into a liquid outlet chamber 24 and a liquid inlet chamber 25. The bottom wall of the second box body 21 is provided with a plurality of second row pipe jacks 211 connected to the liquid outlet chamber 24 and the liquid inlet chamber 25, and the upper ends of the first row pipes 31 and the second row pipes 32 are respectively inserted into the second row pipe jacks 211, so that the upper ends of the first row pipes 31 and the second row pipes 32 are respectively connected to the liquid outlet chamber 24 and the liquid inlet chamber 25. The second box cover 23 covers the box opening at the upper end of the second box body 21. The second box cover 23 is provided with a seat body protruding into the liquid inlet cavity 25. A liquid pump installation cavity 26 is formed in the seat body. The liquid pump installation cavity 26 is provided with a liquid inlet hole 261 connected to the liquid inlet cavity 25, and a liquid outlet hole 262 connected to the liquid outlet cavity 24. The structure of the liquid pump 300 is shown in patent announcements No. 1765680 and No. 1848779. The liquid pump 300 is arranged in the liquid pump installation cavity 26, so that the liquid pump 300 is located in the liquid inlet cavity 25 of the second liquid box 20, and can pump liquid to circulate, thereby forming an integrated liquid cooling radiator containing the liquid pump 300.
