Intelligent set top box and startup method thereof

Abstract

The invention discloses an intelligent set top box and a startup method thereof, an internal memory stores configuration parameters and initialization parameters, and both a first configuration parameter and a second configuration parameter are write values; the processor is configured to: read a first initialization parameter in response to a startup instruction; if the first initialization parameter is a first numerical value, reading a second configuration parameter, and playing a startup advertisement according to the second configuration parameter; if the read first configuration parameter is the first numerical value and the read second initialization parameter is the first numerical value, starting the application; and if the read first configuration parameter is the second numerical value, the read second initialization parameter is the first numerical value, and the read third configuration parameter is the first numerical value, starting the application. In the application, the first configuration parameter and the second configuration parameter are both write-in values, so that a user can conveniently adjust the first configuration parameter and the second configuration parameter according to own requirements to meet different customization requirements of each user.
