The two can be used together as the main medicine, mainly targeting heat toxicity and damp-heat evil in the body. For example, for diseases such as damp-heat dysentery and heat-toxic sores, Coptis chinensis and Phellodendron chinense can effectively clear damp-heat and heat-toxicity and relieve symptoms. For example, when treating oral ulcers caused by heat-toxicity, Coptis chinensis and Phellodendron chinense can reduce the redness, swelling, heat and pain of the oral mucosa by clearing away heat, purge fire and detoxify.

[0026] rhubarb: Rhubarb has the function of purging and attacking accumulation, clearing away heat and purging fire, cooling blood and removing toxins, and removing blood stasis and promoting menstruation. It can not only remove pathogenic factors such as accumulated heat and blood stasis in the intestines, but also expel heat and toxins from the stool through its purgative effect. In this prescription, rhubarb plays an important leading therapeutic role in treating conditions such as internal heat and toxins and constipation, so it can also be regarded as part of the main medicine. For example, in the treatment of Yangming Fu Shi syndrome, which is manifested by high fever, constipation, abdominal distension and other symptoms, rhubarb can purge heat and promote bowel movements, remove the firewood from the bottom of the pot, and relieve the condition.

[0027] Minister medicine: Sophora flavescens, Kochia scoparia, Cnidium monnieri: Sophora flavescens clears heat and dampness, kills insects and acts as a diuretic; Kochia scoparia clears heat and dampness, dispels wind and relieves itching; Cnidium monnieri warms the kidney and strengthens yang, removes dampness, dispels wind and kills insects. These three herbs assist the main herbs in strengthening the effects of clearing heat and dampness, dispelling wind and relieving itching. When treating skin itching, eczema and other diseases, they can assist the main herbs in removing pathogenic factors such as dampness, heat and wind evil from the skin surface. For example, for patients with eczema, Sophora flavescens can clear heat and dampness, Kochia scoparia and Cnidium monnieri can dispel wind and relieve itching, alleviating symptoms such as skin itching, redness and swelling.

[0028] Safflower, Sumac: Safflower can invigorate blood circulation and relieve menstruation, dissipate blood stasis and relieve pain; Su Mu can invigorate blood circulation and heal injuries, dissipate blood stasis and relieve menstruation. They are mainly used to assist the main medicine in exerting the effect of invigorating blood circulation and removing blood stasis. When heat toxicity or damp-heat evil causes blood stasis and blockage, and symptoms such as local pain and ecchymosis appear, safflower and Su Mu can help dissipate blood stasis and improve blood circulation. For example, in the case of local blood stasis and swelling after trauma, safflower and Su Mu can promote the dissipation of blood stasis and relieve pain.

[0029] Adjuvant: Sanguisorba officinalis, Bletilla striata, Catechu: Sanguisorba officinalis cools blood and stops bleeding, removes toxins and heals sores; Bletilla striata astringes and stops bleeding, reduces swelling and promotes tissue regeneration; Catechu astringes and stops bleeding, promotes tissue regeneration and heals sores. They mainly play the role of stopping bleeding and heal sores in prescriptions. Because pathogenic factors such as heat toxins and damp heat may damage the skin and veins, causing bleeding and ulcers. Sanguisorba officinalis, Bletilla striata and Catechu can prevent bleeding and promote healing of sores. For example, when there is blood in the stool caused by heat toxins or bleeding from skin sores, these three herbs can help stop bleeding and promote wound healing.

[0030] Angelica dahurica: Angelica dahurica can relieve cold, dispel wind and relieve pain, clear the nasal passages, dry dampness and stop leukorrhea, and reduce swelling and discharge pus. In the formula of the present invention, Angelica dahurica can assist the main drug and the auxiliary drug to play the role of reducing swelling and discharge pus, dispelling wind and relieving pain. At the same time, Angelica dahurica can also lead the medicine upward, and can better play the role of medicine for symptoms such as heat toxic sores, swelling and pain on the head and face. For example, when treating sinusitis or head and face acne, Angelica dahurica can help other drugs to play a better therapeutic effect.

[0031] Borneol: Borneol can invigorate the mind, clear away heat and relieve pain. It can assist the main drug to enhance the effect of clearing heat and relieving pain, and can promote the drug to penetrate the skin and other tissues, enhancing the transdermal absorption of the drug. When treating skin heat, swelling and pain or oral ulcers, borneol can quickly relieve pain and make the drug work better.

[0032] Assistant drug: There is no typical assistant drug in the formula of the present invention, but from a broad perspective, the drugs in the formula are compatible with each other and work synergistically, and the drugs can also be considered to be assistant drugs. For example, the purgative effect of rhubarb can guide pathogens such as heat and toxins to be expelled from the body, and to some extent, it plays the role of "leading the meridians" and coordinating the overall action direction of the drugs. [0052] Table 3 Comparison of anal edema degree between the two groups before and after treatment ( ±s, minutes)

[0053] Note: Compared with 1 day after surgery, *P<0.05; compared with the control group, #P<0.05 4 Discussion The results of this study showed that the total effective rate of the observation group was 96.0% after 7 days of treatment, which was higher than 84.0% in the control group. After 7 days of treatment, the perianal pain scores and anal edema scores of the two groups of patients after mixed hemorrhoid surgery were lower than those before treatment (P<0.05), and those of the observation group were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). This suggests that homemade Sophora flavescens sitz bath solution has a significant effect on the treatment of patients after mixed hemorrhoid surgery, which can relieve perianal pain and anal edema and promote wound healing.
