Results showed that HPR exhibited higher transcriptomic activity in keratinocyte differentiation and barrier formation compared to HPR. For example, this ingredient was superior to HPR because it better promoted the organization of the extracellular matrix and collagen formation, thereby strengthening the basement membrane. It was also less irritating due to its ability to inhibit interferon-mediated signaling. Furthermore, compared to HPR, this ingredient showed higher activity in keratinocyte differentiation, resulting in a greater improvement in epidermal thickening at equimolar concentrations. In in vivo wrinkle studies, both this ingredient and HPR significantly reduced wrinkles with similar efficacy. Therefore, we conclude that this ingredient is a safe and effective alternative anti-aging compound suitable for use in anti-aging cosmetic formulations. Claims

1. A formulation of a medicament used for the prevention and / or treatment of human skin dysfunction, comprising or consisting of the following ingredients. A formulation for use according to any one of claims 1 to 7, wherein the formulation is used in a pharmaceutical composition, wherein the content of component (a) ranges from about 0.0001 to about 2% by weight, preferably from about 0.001 to about 0.5% by weight, and more preferably from about 0.01 to about 0.2% by weight.

9. A formulation for use according to claim 8, wherein the pharmaceutical composition is a lotion, cream, spray, or ointment, all applied topically to human skin.
