Other explicit and implicit definitions are given below.

[0029] In some examples, values, programs, or devices are described as “best,” “lowest,” “highest,” “smallest,” “maximum,” etc. It should be understood that such descriptions are intended to indicate that a choice can be made among many alternative functionalities used, and that such a choice is not necessarily better, smaller, higher, or otherwise preferred than other choices.

[0030] As is well known, the UE can configure its maximum output power. For carrier f of serving cell c, the configured maximum output power of the UE is... It can be defined as the power available at a reference point for a given transmitter branch, which corresponds to the reference point for the reference signal receiving power (RSRP) measurement of higher-layer filtering. For carrier f of serving cell c, the configured maximum output power of the UE is... It should be set so that the corresponding measured peak EIRP Within the boundaries of the following formula (1): P Powerclass + DP IBE – MAX(MAX(MPR f,c A- MPR f,c ,) + ΔMB P,n P-MPR f,c ) – MAX{T(MAX(MPR f,c A- MPR f,c ,)), T(P-MPR f,c )} ≤ P UMAX,f,c ≤ EIRP max (1) At the same time, the corresponding measured total radiated power P TMAX,f,c Defined by formula (2): P TMAX,f,c ≤ TRP max (2) Among them, P PowerclassEIRP represents the minimum peak effective isotropic radiated power of the UE. max Indicates the applicable maximum EIRP, MPR f,c This indicates that the maximum output power of carrier f in serving cell c has decreased, A-MPR f,c This indicates that the additional maximum output power of carrier f in serving cell c is reduced, ΔMB P,n Indicates peak EIRP tolerance, P-MPR f,c This indicates that the power management of carrier f in serving cell c reduces the maximum power of the UE, T( P) indicates that it applies to The tolerance T of the P-value ( P), and TRP max Indicates the maximum TRP for the UE's power level. This is when the UE declares support... mpr-PowerBoost-FR2- r16 UL transmission is QPSK modulated, MPR f,c = 0, and when NS_200 is applied and the network is configured for the UE to mpr-PowerBoost- FR2-r16 During runtime, DP IBE 1.0dB; otherwise DP IBE The value is 0.0 dB. This requirement is verified in the beam peak direction. mpr- PowerBoost-FR2-r16 Indicates whether the UE is allowed to increase uplink transmit power by suspending in-band emission (IBE) requests.

[0031] One consensus is that for STxMP, power limits per panel and total power limits per UE should be applied to the same UE. The beam variation between different panels transmitting simultaneously may be greater or less, so even if the EIRP requirements are the same for each panel, the maximum output power of the UE per panel may be different.

[0032] In view of this, the embodiments of this disclosure provide a solution for communication of a UL PC to overcome the above-mentioned or other potential problems. In this solution, a terminal device determines a beam set for STxMP. Based on the information of the beam set, the terminal device determines power limiting information for the STxMP and performs the STxMP based on the power limiting information. In this way, a suitable UL PC can be achieved for STxMP. Thus, while meeting the maximum EIRP requirements, the highest possible transmission power can be guaranteed, thereby ensuring the quality of UL transmission.

[0033] The principles and specific implementations of this disclosure will now be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0035] Figure 1A An example communication network 100A is illustrated, in which embodiments of the present disclosure can be implemented. Communication network 100A includes network device 110-1 and optional network device 110-2 (collectively or individually referred to as network device 110). Network device 110 can provide services to terminal device 120. For purposes of discussion, network device 110-1 is referred to as first network device 110-1, and network device 110-2 is referred to as second network device 110-2. Furthermore, first network device 110-1 and second network device 110-2 can communicate with each other.

[0036] In communication network 100A, the link from network device 110 (e.g., first network device 110-1 or second network device 110-2) to terminal device 120 is called a downlink, while the link from terminal device 120 to network device 110 (e.g., first network device 110-1 or second network device 110-2) is called an uplink. In the downlink, first network device 110-1 or second network device 110-2 is a Tx device (or transmitter), and terminal device 120 is a receiving (Rx) device (or receiver). In the uplink, terminal device 120 is a transmitting Tx device (or transmitter), and first network device 110-1 or second network device 110-2 is an Rx device (or receiver).

[0037] In some implementations, network device 110 and terminal device 120 may communicate using a direct link / channel.

[0038] In some implementations, terminal device 120 may be deployed with more than one panel. For example... Figure 1A As illustrated, terminal device 120 is equipped with panels 125-1 and 125-2. In the following text, panels 125-1 and 125-2 may be referred to as first panel 125-1 and second panel 125-2, respectively.

[0039] In some embodiments, the first panel 125-1 and the second panel 125-2 correspond to different groups of antenna ports / antenna elements / antenna arrays. As a specific example, the first panel 125-1 corresponds to a first antenna port set, and the second panel 125-2 corresponds to a second antenna port set. In some embodiments, panels 125-1 and 125-2 may each correspond to different sets of capability values. In some embodiments, panels 125-1 and 125-2 may each correspond to different RS resource sets. In some embodiments, the RS resource set may be an SRS resource set. Each resource set may include one or more resources.

[0040] In the communication network 100A, PUSCH STxMP can be supported. Specifically, the terminal device 120 can perform PUSCH simultaneously on both panels 125-1 and 125-2.

[0041] In some implementations, MTRP transmission may also be supported. For example... Figure 1A As shown, terminal device 120 can communicate with two TRPs (i.e., TRP 130-1 and 130-2) (collectively referred to as TRP 130 or individually). For the purposes of discussion, TRP 130-1 is referred to as the first TRP 130-1, and TRP 130-2 is referred to as the second TRP 130-2.

[0042] Furthermore, to support MTRPs and / or multiple panels, network device 110 may be equipped with one or more TRPs. For example, network device 110 may be coupled with multiple TRPs in different geographical locations to achieve better coverage. In one specific example embodiment, the first network device 110-1 is equipped with a first TRP 130-1 and a second TRP 130-2. Alternatively, in another specific example embodiment, the first network device 110-1 and the second network device 110-2 are equipped with a first TRP 130-1 and a second TRP 130-2, respectively.

[0043] In some implementations, the first TRP 130-1 and the second TRP 130-2 are associated with different control resource set pools (CORESET pools). For example, the first TRP 130-1 is associated with a first control resource set pool, while the second TRP 130-2 is associated with a second control resource set pool.

[0044] also, Figure 1ASpecific examples can support both single TRP mode transmission and MTRP transmission. Specifically, in single TRP mode, terminal device 120 communicates with the network via first TRP 130-1 / second TRP 130-2. Alternatively, in MTRP mode, terminal device 120 communicates with the network via both first TRP 130-1 and second TRP 130-2.

[0045] As a specific example implementation, during PUSCH STxMP, terminal device 120 communicates with first TRP 130-1 via panel 125-1 and simultaneously communicates with second TRP 130-2 via panel 125-2.

[0046] Furthermore, network device 110 can provide one or more serving cells, and the first TRP 130-1 and the second TRP 130-2 can be included in the same serving cell or different serving cells. In other words, Figure 1A Specific examples support both inter-cell transmission and intra-cell transmission.

[0047] Figure 1B As shown Figure 1A The example scenario shown is a communication network 100A. Figure 1B In a specific example, the first TRP 130-1 and the second TRP 130-2 are included in the same serving cell 140. In this case, MTRP transmission is performed as an intra-cell transmission.

[0048] Figure 1C As shown Figure 1A Another example scenario of the communication network 100A shown. In Figure 1C In a specific example, the first TRP 130-1 and the second TRP 130-2 are included in different serving cells 140-1 and 140-2. In this case, MTRP transmission is performed as inter-cell transmission.

[0049] The communications in communication network 100A may conform to any suitable standard, including but not limited to Long Term Evolution (LTE), LTE-Evolution, LTE-Advanced (LTE-A), Wideband Code Division Multiple Access (WCDMA), Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA), and Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM). Furthermore, these communications may be performed according to any generation of communication protocols currently known or to be developed in the future. Examples of communication protocols include, but are not limited to, first-generation (1G), second-generation (2G), 2.5G, 2.75G, third-generation (3G), fourth-generation (4G), 4.5G, fifth-generation (5G), 5.5G, 5G-Advanced, or sixth-generation (6G) protocols.

[0050] It should be understood that Figures 1A to 1C The number, connection relationships, and types of the elements shown (i.e., terminal device 120, panel 125, network device 110, TRP 130, and cell 140) are for illustrative purposes only and do not imply any limitation. The communication network 100A may include any suitable number of elements suitable for implementing embodiments of this disclosure.

[0051] In some scenarios, the panel can beamform in the same or similar directions. In other scenarios, the panel can beamform in different directions. Figure 2 A schematic diagram 200 is illustrated, which illustrates an example of a beam set of a panel in which embodiments of the present disclosure may be implemented. Figure 2 As shown in Example 210, the beam 1 of panel 1 and the beam 2 of panel 2 have almost opposite directions. Figure 2 As shown in Example 220, the beam 1 of panel 1 and the beam 2 of panel 2 have similar directions.

[0052] EIRP is defined per UE, not per panel. An EIRP measured when two panels are beamforming in the same or similar directions may be higher than an EIRP measured when the two panels are beamforming in different directions. In other words, the maximum output power per panel may differ. For example, in Example 210, a higher maximum output power per panel or beam may be assumed. In Example 220, a lower maximum output power per panel or beam may be assumed.

[0053] In view of this, the embodiments of this disclosure provide a communication solution for UL PCs to optimize UL PCs used for STxMPs. This solution will be referenced below. Figure 3 and Figure 4 Describe it.

[0054] Figure 3 A schematic diagram is illustrated, which illustrates a communication process 300 according to some example embodiments of this disclosure. For discussion purposes, reference will be made to... Figures 1A to 1C Describe the process.

Furthermore, the first TRP 130-1 and the second TRP may be in the same serving cell or in different serving cells.

[0058] Furthermore, it should be understood that the operations at terminal device 120 and network device 110 should be coordinated. In other words, network device 110 and terminal device 120 should have a common understanding regarding configurations, parameters, etc. This common understanding can be achieved through any suitable interaction between network device 110 and terminal device 120, or by both network device 110 and terminal device 120 applying the same rules / policies. [0060] In some implementations, the one or more interactions can be specific to a particular panel, TRP, capability value, CORESET, etc. This allows for flexible configuration or activation of PUSCH STxMP.

[0061] Furthermore, it should be understood that although the features / operations are discussed separately in the specific example implementations, any suitable combination of the features / operations described in the different example implementations may be used unless explicitly stated otherwise.

[0062] refer to Figure 3 Terminal device 120 can transmit UE capability information to network device 110. For example, network device 110 can send RRC configuration regarding UE capability reports to terminal device 120. Terminal device 120 can report its capabilities to network device 110 based on the RRC configuration.

[0063] In some embodiments, the capabilities of terminal device 120 may include information about whether terminal device 120 supports power limiting information for beamforming. In some embodiments, the power limiting information may indicate maximum output power. In some embodiments, the power limiting information may indicate maximum power reduction (MPR). In some embodiments, the power limiting information may indicate maximum permitted emission (MPE). It should be understood that any combination of this information is also feasible.

[0064] In some implementations, the capabilities of terminal device 120 may include information about whether terminal device 120 supports the maximum output power (denoted as Pcmax) per panel or beam. For example, the capabilities of terminal device 120 may include information about whether terminal device 120 supports Pcmax1 for panel 125-1 and Pcmax2 for panel 125-2 for calculating the Tx power of terminal device 120. For example, can it be assumed that... Where t represents the panel / beam. In some embodiments, the capabilities of terminal device 120 may include information about whether terminal device 120 supports information based on the number of beams in the beam set (i.e., the number of panels) and reference power limitation information (e.g., ...). This information is used to determine the power limiting information for beams in the beam set. For example, does each panel assume 1 / N? , where N represents the number of panels used for transmission. In some embodiments, the capabilities of terminal device 120 may include information about whether terminal device 120 supports reference power limit information (e.g., The information used to determine the power limiting information for that beam includes the scaling factor of the beams in the beam set. For example, whether to assume β for panel 1 and panel 2 respectively. and β β1 represents the scaling factor of beam 1 of panel 1, and β2 represents the scaling factor of beam 2 of panel 2. In some embodiments, β and β The sum can be greater than or equal to .

[0065] In other words, the capabilities of terminal device 120 may include information about whether terminal device 120 supports Pcmax per beam or per TCI. Alternatively, the capabilities of terminal device 120 may include information about whether terminal device 120 supports more than one Pcmax for STxMP. Alternatively, the capabilities of terminal device 120 may include information about the number of Pcmaxes supported by terminal device 120 for STxMP.

[0066] In some implementations, the capabilities of terminal device 120 may include information about whether terminal device 120 supports power limiting information dedicated to STxMP. For example, the capabilities of terminal device 120 may include information about whether terminal device 120 supports additional Pcmax for STxMP. That is, for UL multi-input multi-output (MIMO) transmission on a single panel, it can be assumed that... If UL STxMP is used, an additional Pcmax can be assumed (e.g., In some implementation schemes, This can be applied to the total power of all panels used in STxMP. In some implementations, It can be applied to every panel used for STxMP.

[0067] In some implementations, the capabilities of terminal device 120 may include information about whether terminal device 120 supports the same power limiting information for STxMP and transmission across a single panel. For example, the capabilities of terminal device 120 may include information about whether terminal device 120 supports the same Pcmax for STxMP and other single-panel UL transmissions. For example, to calculate the Tx power of terminal device 120, assumptions may be made... Regardless of the UL proposal.

[0068] In some embodiments, the capabilities of terminal device 120 may include information about whether terminal device 120 supports MPR per UE, per beam, or per panel. In some embodiments, the capabilities of terminal device 120 may include information about whether terminal device 120 supports MPE per UE, per beam, or per panel. In some embodiments, the capabilities of terminal device 120 may include information about whether terminal device 120 supports additional MPR for STxMP. In some embodiments, the capabilities of terminal device 120 may include information about whether terminal device 120 supports additional MPE for STxMP. In some embodiments, additional MPE for STxMP may be applied to the total power reduction for all panels used for STxMP. In some embodiments, additional MPE for STxMP may be applied to the power reduction for each panel used for STxMP. In some embodiments, the capabilities of terminal device 120 may include information about whether terminal device 120 supports the same MPR for STxMP and other individual panel UL transmissions. In some embodiments, the capabilities of terminal device 120 may include information about whether terminal device 120 supports the same MPE for STxMP and other individual panel UL transmissions.

[0069] Based on the capabilities of terminal device 120, network device 110 can be configured to apply one or more of the Pcmax assumption, MPR assumption, and MPE assumption at terminal device 120.

[0070] In some embodiments, the capabilities of terminal device 120 may include information regarding the reporting of power limiting information. In some embodiments, this includes information about whether terminal device 120 supports CSI reporting that includes power limiting information. In some embodiments, the capabilities of terminal device 120 may include information about whether terminal device 120 supports reporting of power limiting information associated with an SRI set. In some embodiments, the capabilities of terminal device 120 may include information about whether terminal device 120 supports reporting of power limiting information associated with a TCI state set. In some embodiments, the capabilities of terminal device 120 may include information about whether terminal device 120 supports PHR that includes power limiting information for STxMP. It should be understood that any combination of the above capabilities is also feasible.

[0071] Continue to refer to Figure 3Network device 110 may send an instruction 320 to terminal device 120 to enable STxMP. For STxMP, terminal device 120 may determine 330 a beam set for STxMP, i.e., a beam set corresponding to the panels of terminal device 120 to be transmitted simultaneously. In some embodiments, terminal device 120 may receive a DL RS set from network device 110. Based on measurements of the DL RS set, terminal device 120 may determine the beam set for STxMP.

[0072] In some implementations, terminal device 120 may send a UL RS set to network device 110. Network device 110 may measure the UL RS set and determine the beam set for STxMP based on the measurement results. Network device 110 may indicate the beam set to terminal device 120. Accordingly, terminal device 120 may determine the beam set based on the indication from network device 110.

[0073] Continue to refer to Figure 3 Terminal device 120 can determine power limiting information for STxMP 340 based on information from the beam set. In some embodiments, the beam set information may include the orientation of the beams in the beam set. In some embodiments, the beam set information may include the gain of the beams in the beam set. In some embodiments, the beam set information may include the width of the beams in the beam set. In some embodiments, the beam set information may include the RSRP or path loss corresponding to the beams in the beam set. It should be understood that any combination of the above information is also feasible.

[0074] Based on the beam set information, terminal device 120 can determine appropriate power limiting information for STxMP. In some embodiments, terminal device 120 can determine power limiting information for each beam or panel used in STxMP. For example, if the beam set includes a first beam and a second beam, terminal device 120 can determine first power limiting information for the first beam and second power limiting information for the second beam. For example, terminal device 120 can assume... , where t represents panel / beam.

[0075] In some implementations, terminal device 120 may determine reference power limitation information for terminal device 120 (e.g., Furthermore, based on the number of beams in the beam set and reference power limiting information, the power limiting information for the beams in the beam set is determined. For example, terminal device 120 can use 1 / N Determine the maximum output power for each panel, where N represents the number of beams.

[0076] In some implementations, terminal device 120 may determine reference power limitation information for terminal device 120 (e.g., And based on the reference power limiting information and the scaling factor of the beams in the beam set, the power limiting information for that beam is determined. For example, the terminal device 120 can use β and β The maximum output power of panel 1 and panel 2 is determined, where β1 represents the scaling factor of beam 1 of panel 1 and β2 represents the scaling factor of beam 2 of panel 2.

[0077] In some implementations, terminal device 120 can determine power limiting information dedicated to STxMP as power limiting information for beamforming. For example, terminal device 120 can... The total maximum output power of all beams in the beam set is determined. In some alternative implementations, It can be applied to every panel used for STxMP.

[0078] In some implementations, terminal device 120 may determine the same power limiting information for STxMP and transmission across a single panel. In some implementations, terminal device 120 may determine reference power limiting information for terminal device 120 (e.g., And determine the reference power limiting information as the power limiting information for each beam in the beam set (e.g., each beam).

[0079] Continue to refer to Figure 3 Terminal device 120 can perform 350 STxMP based on determined power limitation information. In some embodiments where STxMP is performed using two panels, terminal device 120 can determine a first Tx power for a first channel or RS based on the determined power limitation information, and determine a second Tx power for a second channel or RS based on the determined power limitation information and the first Tx power. Terminal device 120 can simultaneously transmit the first channel or RS at the first Tx power and transmit the second channel or RS at the second Tx power.

[0080] Continue to refer to Figure 3 Terminal device 120 can send power limitation information determined by 360 to network device 110. In this way, terminal device 120 can report power limitation information for STxMP to the network. In some embodiments, the reporting of power limitation information can be performed before STxMP execution. In some embodiments, the reporting of power limitation information can be performed after STxMP execution.

[0081] In some implementations, terminal device 120 may transmit its capability, including power limiting information. In other words, terminal device 120 may transmit power limiting information in a UE capability report. For example, power limiting information associated with maximum output power may be reported, depending on different Pcmax assumptions. N, scaling factor or .

[0082] In some implementations, terminal device 120 may send power limiting information in the CSI report. This allows for more dynamic reporting of power limiting information for STxMP. The power limiting information (e.g., maximum output power assumptions) may vary depending on the choice of UL beam.

[0083] In some implementations, network device 110 may be configured with beam reporting quantities and resources for beam measurement and reporting, and terminal device 120 may send power limiting information in the CSI report based on this configuration. In some implementations, terminal device 120 may report information about the beam set and power limiting information for the beam set. Reporting may be performed at different granularities.

[0084] For example, Pcmax is assumed to be per UE. In this case, terminal device 120 can report information about whether beams in the beam set can be transmitted simultaneously via the same Pcmax. For example, this information can be indicated via a 1-bit or 2-bit indicator. In this way, higher-level reporting can be achieved. Furthermore, scaling factors (e.g., β1, β2, etc.) used for beams in the beam set can be reported. In this way, more granular reporting can be achieved.

[0085] In some implementations, terminal device 120 may send group-based beam reports including power limiting information. In some implementations, network device 110 may be configured for group-based beam reports for STxMP to report power limiting information. In some implementations, based on the capabilities of terminal device 120, network device 110 may be configured to simultaneously receive DL RS reports corresponding to beams in the beam set.

[0086] In some implementations, group-based beam reporting may include an indicator of power limiting information. In some implementations, the indicator may be per resource group. In some implementations, the power limiting information may be associated with a beam set. For example, example group-based beam reporting can be configured as shown in Table 1. Table 1

[0087] In the context of this disclosure, it is assumed that the beam sets used for STxMP correspond to CRI / SSBRI #1 and #2. It should be understood that reporting four resource groups is merely an example, and the number of resource groups can be any suitable number, depending on the configuration from the network.

[0088] As shown in Table 1, the field "Indicator for Resource Group 1" indicates the power limiting information for CRI / SSBRI #1 and #2 of Resource Group 1. The field "Indicator for Resource Group 2" indicates the power limiting information for CRI / SSBRI #1 and #2 of Resource Group 2. The field "Indicator for Resource Group 3" indicates the power limiting information for CRI / SSBRI #1 and #2 of Resource Group 3. The field "Indicator for Resource Group 4" indicates the power limiting information for CRI / SSBRI #1 and #2 of Resource Group 4.

[0089] In some implementations, power limiting information can be associated with beams in a beam set. For example, example group-based beam reporting can be configured as shown in Table 2. Table 2

[0090] As shown in Table 2, the field "Indicator for CRI / SSBRI #1 of Resource Group 1" indicates the power limiting information for CRI / SSBRI #1 of Resource Group 1. The field "Indicator for CRI / SSBRI #2 of Resource Group 1" indicates the power limiting information for CRI / SSBRI #2 of Resource Group 1. The field "Indicator for CRI / SSBRI #1 of Resource Group 2" indicates the power limiting information for CRI / SSBRI #1 of Resource Group 2. The field "Indicator for CRI / SSBRI #2 of Resource Group 2" indicates the power limiting information for CRI / SSBRI #2 of Resource Group 2. The field "Indicator for CRI / SSBRI #1 of Resource Group 3" indicates the power limiting information for CRI / SSBRI #1 of Resource Group 3. The field "Indicator for CRI / SSBRI #2 of Resource Group 3" indicates the power limiting information for CRI / SSBRI #2 of Resource Group 3. The field "Indicator for CRI / SSBRI #1 of Resource Group 4" indicates the power limiting information for CRI / SSBRI #1 of Resource Group 4. The field "Indicator for CRI / SSBRI #2 of Resource Group 4" indicates the power limiting information for CRI / SSBRI #2 of Resource Group 4.

[0091] In some alternative or additional embodiments, the indicator may report per group-based beam rather than per resource group. In some alternative or additional embodiments, the scaling factor may also be reported per beam (i.e., per CRI / SSBRI).

[0092] In some alternative or additional implementations, the bit length of the indicator for power limiting information may depend on the number of supported assumptions. For example, if only two maximum power assumptions are supported, then it is 1 bit per resource group.

[0093] In some implementations, if group-based beam reporting is configured to report UL beam pairs for STxMP, RSRP and differential RSRP related information may not be reported, as this report is used to indicate UL beam pairs. This saves signaling overhead.

[0094] In some implementations, if group-based beam reporting is configured to report UL beam pairs for STxMP, RSRP and differential RSRP related information can be replaced with path loss and differential path loss information. This saves signaling overhead.

[0095] In some implementations, if group-based beam reporting is configured to report UL beam pairs for STxMP, RSRP and differential RSRP related information can be replaced with Pcmax information. This saves signaling overhead.

[0096] It should be noted that although the above examples are described in conjunction with RSRP reports, this disclosure is not limited thereto, and signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) reports are also feasible.

[0097] In some implementations, terminal device 120 may send a panel information report (i.e., a capability index report) that includes power limiting information. In some implementations, network device 110 may be configured for STxMP capability index reporting to report power limiting information. In some implementations, based on the capabilities of terminal device 120, network device 110 may be configured to simultaneously receive DL RS reports corresponding to different capability indices.

[0098] In some implementations, the capability index report may include an indicator of power limitation information. In some implementations, the indicator may be per beam set (i.e., per panel). In some implementations, the power limitation information may be associated with a panel. For example, an example capability index report may be configured as shown in Table 3. Table 3

[0099] As shown in Table 3, the field "Indicator of Set 1" indicates the power limitation information of beam set 1 for panel 1. Beam set 1 includes the beams of panel 1 and panel 2. The field "Indicator of Set 2" indicates the power limitation information of beam set 2 for panel 2. Beam set 2 includes the beams of panel 1 and panel 2. It should be noted that UL beam sets corresponding to different capability indices can be transmitted simultaneously.

[0100] In some implementations, power limiting information can be associated with the panel's beam. For example, an example capability index report can be configured as shown in Table 4. Table 4

[0101] As shown in Table 4, the field "Indicator for CRI / SSBRI #1" indicates the power limit information for CRI / SSBRI #1. The field "Indicator for CRI / SSBRI #2" indicates the power limit information for CRI / SSBRI #2. The field "Indicator for CRI / SSBRI #3" indicates the power limit information for CRI / SSBRI #3. The field "Indicator for CRI / SSBRI #4" indicates the power limit information for CRI / SSBRI #4.

[0102] In some alternative or additional embodiments, the indicator may be reported per capability index rather than per beam set. In some alternative or additional embodiments, the scaling factor may also be reported per beam (i.e., per CRI / SSBRI).

[0103] In some alternative or additional implementations, the bit length of the indicator for power limiting information may depend on the number of assumptions supported. For example, if only two maximum power assumptions are supported, then it is 1 bit per beam set.

[0104] In some implementations, if the capability index report is configured to report UL beam pairs for STxMP, RSRP and differential RSRP related information may not be reported, as this report is used to indicate UL beam pairs. This saves signaling overhead.

[0105] In some implementations, if the capability index report is configured to report UL beam pairs for STxMP, RSRP and differential RSRP related information can be replaced with path loss and different path loss information. This saves signaling overhead.

[0106] In some implementations, if the capability index report is configured to report UL beam pairs used for STxMP, RSRP and differential RSRP related information can be replaced with Pcmax information. This saves signaling overhead.

[0107] It should be noted that although the above examples are described in conjunction with RSRP reports, this disclosure is not limited thereto, and SINR reports are also feasible.

[0108] In some implementations, terminal device 120 may transmit power limiting information associated with an SRI set (i.e., an SRI combination). The SRI set corresponds to a beam set used for STxMP. In other words, based on the transmitted SRS, terminal device 120 may report the supported SRI combinations and associated power limiting information for STxMP.

[0109] In some implementations, power limitation information associated with the SRI set may be transmitted via RRC signaling. In some implementations, power limitation information associated with the SRI set may be transmitted via MAC CE. In some implementations, power limitation information associated with the SRI set may be transmitted via UCI. In some implementations, the scaling factor of the beams in the beam set may also be reported.

[0110] In some implementations, for a given power assumption, the supported SRI combinations can be reported. For example, an SRI combination could be {SRS Resource Set 1 SRS Resource 1, SRS Resource Set 2 SRS Resource 2}; {SRS Resource Set 1 SRS Resource 3, SRS Resource Set 2 SRS Resource 4}; with the same Pcmax. That is, the UL beams corresponding to SRI 1 / 3 from SRS Resource Set 1 and SRI 2 / 4 from SRS Resource Set 2 can be used in STxMP, and the maximum output power of each beam is Pcmax.

[0111] Alternatively or otherwise, terminal device 120 may send power limiting information unrelated to another SRI set. In other words, for a power assumption, it may report unsupported SRI combinations.

[0112] In some implementations, supported power assumptions may be reported for a SRI combination. Alternatively or otherwise, unsupported power assumptions may be reported for a SRI combination.

[0113] In some implementations, terminal device 120 may transmit power limiting information associated with a TCI state set. In other words, based on the activated or configured TCI state / TCI state combination, terminal device 120 may report the TCI state set (i.e., the TCI state combination) and the associated power limiting information for STxMP. In this way, the configured or activated TCI state / TCI state combination may reflect the NW selection of the UL beam combination, and terminal device 120 may further select or report some or all of the power assumptions in those UL beam combinations.

[0114] In some implementations, power limiting information associated with the TCI state set can be transmitted via RRC signaling. In some implementations, power limiting information associated with the TCI state set can be transmitted via MAC CE. In some implementations, power limiting information associated with the TCI state set can be transmitted via UCI. In some implementations, the scaling factor of the beams in the beam set can also be reported.

[0115] In some implementations, for a power assumption, supported TCI state combinations can be reported. For example, a TCI state combination could be {TCI state 1, TCI state 2}; {TCI state 3, TCI state 4}; with the same Pcmax. That is, the UL beams corresponding to TCI states 1 / 3 and TCI states 2 / 4 can be used in STxMP, and the maximum output power of each beam is Pcmax. As another example, a TCI state combination could be TCI code point 000; TCI code point 001; with the same Pcmax. That is, the UL beams corresponding to TCI code points 000 and 001 can be used in STxMP, and the maximum output power of each beam is Pcmax. As yet another example, a TCI state combination could be the first activated TCI state combination in the MAC CE; with the same Pcmax. That is, the UL beams in the MAC CE corresponding to the first activated TCI state combination can be used in STxMP, and the maximum output power of each beam is Pcmax.

[0116] Alternatively or otherwise, terminal device 120 may send power limiting information that is not associated with another TCI state set. In other words, for a power assumption, an unsupported TCI state combination may be reported.

[0117] In some implementations, supported power assumptions may be reported for a combination of TCI states. Alternatively or otherwise, unsupported power assumptions may be reported for a combination of TCI states.

[0118] In some implementations, terminal device 120 may transmit a Power Headroom (PHR) that includes power limiting information for STxMP. For example, terminal device 120 may report Pcmax and MPR per panel / beam or per UE in the PHR. Since the power headroom is based on actual transmission or reference transmission, the power headroom can better reflect the situation on the UE side.

[0119] Figure 4A schematic diagram 400 is illustrated, which illustrates an example PHR MAC CE according to some example embodiments of the present disclosure. For illustration purposes, a single-entry PHR MAC CE is shown. It should be understood that the single-entry PHR is merely an example, and the present disclosure can also be applied to multiple-entry PHRs, enhanced single-entry PHRs, enhanced multiple-entry PHRs, enhanced single-entry PHRs for multiple TRPs, or enhanced multiple-entry PHRs for multiple TRPs.

[0120] like Figure 4 As shown, the R field indicates a reserved bit set to 0. The PH field indicates the power headroom level. The P field indicates the power headroom level if configured. mpe-Reporting-FR2 If the serving cell is running on FR2, and the P-MPR value applied to meet MPE requirements is less than P-MPR_00, the MAC entity should set this field to 0; otherwise, it should be set to 1. If not configured... mpe- Reporting-FR2 If the serving cell is operating on FR1, the P field indicates whether power backoff is applied due to power management. If no power backoff is applied due to power management, then if the corresponding P... CMAX,f,c The fields will have different values, and the MAC entity should set the P field to 1. CMAX,f,c The field indicates the information used to calculate the previous PH field. If configured mpe-Reporting-FR2 The serving cell operates on FR2, and if the P field is set to 1, the MPE field indicates the power backoff applied to meet MPE requirements. If not configured... mpe-Reporting-FR2 Alternatively, if the serving cell is operating on FR1, or if the P field is set to 0, the R bit may be present instead. mpe-Reporting-FR2 Indicates whether the UE should report MPE P-MPR in the PHR MAC CE.

[0121] like Figure 4 As shown, field 401 may indicate the power assumptions (e.g., maximum output power) used for STxMP. In some embodiments, if the terminal device 120 supports per-panel / beam Pcmax for STxMP, field 401 may indicate Where t corresponds to panel / beam. In some implementations, field 401 may indicate if the terminal device 120 supports additional Pcmax for STxMP. In some implementations, if terminal device 120 supports the same Pcmax for STxMP and other single-panel UL transmissions, field 401 may indicate... .

[0122] like Figure 4As shown, field 402 can indicate the MPR / MPE for STxMP. In some embodiments, if terminal device 120 supports per-panel / beam MPR / MPE for STxMP, then field 402 can indicate the MPE. t , where t corresponds to the panel / beam. MPE t This indicates the power back-off applied to meet the MPE requirements of the panel / beam. Additionally, information about the applied panel / beam / beamset can be reported. In some embodiments, if the terminal device 120 supports additional MPR / MPE for STxMP, field 402 can indicate the MPE. STxMP MPE STxMP Indicates the power back-off applied to meet the MPE requirements of STxMP. MPE STxMP This can be an absolute value or an accumulated value. In some implementations, if the terminal device 120 supports the same Pcmax for STxMP and other single-panel UL transmissions, field 402 can indicate MPE. STxMP This refers to the total power reduction for all panels used in STxMP. In some implementations, the additional MPE for STxMP may be the power reduction for each panel used in STxMP. In some implementations, MPE can be reported or configured. STxMP Is this information for the total power reduction across all panels used in STxMP, or for the power reduction per panel used in STxMP?

[0123] In some implementations, terminal device 120 may transmit a PHR including power limiting information if the conditions for triggering a PHR are met for at least one beam in the beam set. In some implementations, terminal device 120 may transmit a PHR if the conditions for triggering a PHR are met for one beam in the beam set. In some implementations, terminal device 120 may transmit a PHR if the conditions for triggering a PHR are met for all beams in the beam set.

[0124] For example, the condition for triggering a PHR could be: since the last PHR was sent in the MAC entity, for each panel / beam, or for all panels / beams, the measured periodic-MPR (P-MPR) applied to meet the FR2 MPE requirement is equal to or greater than the value of at least one active FR2 serving cell. mpe-Threshold . mpe-ThresholdThis indicates the threshold, in dB, used for reporting MPE P-MPR when FR2 is configured. For example, a PHR trigger condition could be: since the last PHR was sent due to an MPR issue, for each panel / beam, or for all panels / beams, the measured P-MPR applied to meet FR2 MPE requirements for at least one active FR2 serving cell has changed by more than [percentage missing]. phr-Tx- PowerFactorChange dB. phr-Tx-PowerFactorChange Indicates the value used in PHR reports, in dB.
