[0035] Figure 1 This is a flowchart illustrating an image display method provided in an embodiment of this application, such as... Figure 1 As shown in the embodiment of this application, an image display method may include steps 101 to 103, which are described in detail below.

[0036] 101. Display the first image; the first image contains the target element;

[0037] The first image is displayed on the display screen of an electronic device. The display screen can be the screen of a mobile terminal, such as a mobile phone, tablet, or laptop. The display screen can also be the screen of other devices, such as a desktop computer, a television, or a vehicle computer.

[0038] The first image contains a target element, which is an element intended to be displayed to the user and contains the information that the user wants to convey to the viewer of the image.

[0039] For example, if the first image is a photograph of a book, the target element can be the image of the book in the first image or the image of the text on the book in the first image; if the first image is a photograph of a person, the target element can be the image of the person in the first image; if the first image is a photograph of a building, the target element can be the image of the building in the first image.

[0040] 102. Based on the first image meeting the target conditions, switch the display mode to the target mode. Meeting the target conditions means that the user cannot identify the target element under the target viewing conditions.

[0041] If the first image meets the target condition, it means that the user cannot see the target element of the first image on the display screen.

[0042] The target viewing condition is that, under reasonable viewing conditions, the user cannot recognize and understand the content displayed on the screen with reasonable time and effort.

[0043] Reasonable viewing conditions may include: normal posture and distance, no abnormal glare, device brightness within the recommended range, and no need for additional assistance from the user. This additional assistance could include using a magnifying glass, etc.

[0044] The reasonable approach is that the time and effort required can be such that viewing the image does not require repeatedly getting close, squinting, or comparing back and forth; it can be done without performing the aforementioned actions.

[0045] If, without considering viewing conditions, a user cannot recognize and understand the content displayed on the screen within a reasonable time and with sufficient effort, then the content on the screen is displayed incorrectly, making it difficult for the user to see clearly. Therefore, in this embodiment, the display mode is switched to the target mode to adjust the display method without requiring user intervention, thereby improving the user's viewing experience.

[0046] Under this target viewing condition, by switching to target mode, the target element in the first image can be presented, and the reading speed and accuracy should not be significantly lower than the baseline of similar texts.

[0047] The electronic device includes at least two display modes, each using different display parameters for the same image. The current mode may display the first image with the default display parameters, while the target mode may display the first image after adjusting the display parameters.

[0048] 103. Based on the target pattern, display the target element in a display mode that does not meet the target conditions.

[0049] After the electronic device switches to target mode, the display parameters of the first image displayed on the screen can be adjusted so that the target elements in the first image can be displayed in a way that meets the target conditions.

[0050] Among them, displaying the target element in a way that does not meet the target conditions can enable users to see the target element clearly under reasonable viewing conditions, with reasonable time and effort.

[0051] Correspondingly, in target mode, users can see the target element clearly under reasonable viewing conditions, with reasonable time and effort.

[0052] In one possible implementation, in target mode, the display screen only needs to clearly display the target element, and the first image can be fully displayed, partially displayed, or not displayed at all.

[0053] By switching to target mode, users can see the target element displayed on the screen without making any effort.

[0054] In this embodiment, a first image containing the target element is displayed. Based on the first image satisfying the target condition, the display mode is switched to the target mode. Satisfying the target condition indicates that the user cannot recognize the target element under target viewing conditions. Based on the target mode, the target element is displayed in a display manner that satisfies the target condition. If the user cannot clearly see the target element in the first image when it is displayed in a non-target mode, the display mode is switched to target mode so that when the target element is first displayed on the screen, the user can recognize the target element under target viewing conditions, thus enabling the user to clearly see the target element on the display screen and improving the user experience.

[0055] Figure 2 This is a flowchart illustrating how, based on the first image meeting the target conditions, the display mode is switched to the target mode, as provided in this application embodiment. It may include steps 201 to 202, which are described in detail below.

[0056] 201. Based on the first image satisfying the target conditions, output the first control on the display screen;

[0057] You can set a first control, which is used to trigger the display mode to switch to the target mode.

[0058] For example, the first control can be output as a button or a dialog box.

[0059] In one possible implementation, the first control is displayed on the screen along with the first image, and is shown on top of the first image.

[0060] In one possible implementation, the first control can be displayed as an option in a portion of the display screen, or it can be displayed to fill the entire display screen.

[0061] In one possible implementation, when the first control is displayed on the screen, a preset prompt message is also displayed. This prompt message indicates the function of the first control. For example, the prompt message could be "Clarify" or "Switch to Clarify Mode," and this application does not limit the specific content of the prompt message.

[0062] Figure 3 This is a schematic diagram of the content displayed on the display screen provided in the embodiment of this application. The content displayed includes a first image 301 and a first control 302. The first control 302 is displayed in the lower right corner of the display screen. The first control 302 displays "Switch to clear mode". The first control can be triggered. The user can trigger the first control by clicking on the area where the first control is located.

[0063] Of course Figure 3 The image shown is a schematic of the first control displayed on the screen. This application is not limited to this, and the first control may be displayed on the screen in other forms.

[0064] 202. Based on the received trigger command that triggers the first control, control the switching of the display mode to the target mode.

[0065] After the first control is displayed on the screen, the user can choose to trigger the first control or not trigger it, depending on their needs.

[0066] In one possible implementation, if the display screen is a touch screen, the user can click on the display area where the first control is located to select the first control, and the electronic device will generate a trigger command to activate the first control.

[0067] In one possible implementation, if the display screen is not a touch screen, the user can select a first control on the display screen using other input devices, and the electronic device will generate a trigger command to activate the first control. These other input devices may include keyboards, mice, touchpads, etc., and are not limited thereto in this application.

[0068] After the display mode is switched to target mode, the target element is displayed in a way that does not meet the target conditions, so that the user can see the target element displayed on the screen.

[0069] In this embodiment, when the first image meets the target conditions, a first control is output on the display screen to prompt the user that the target element in the first image can be output in the target mode; upon receiving a trigger command to trigger the first control, the display mode is switched to the target mode, so that when the user cannot clearly see the target element in the first image displayed on the screen, the user can manually select to switch to the target mode, thus switching the display mode of the electronic device to the target mode, making it convenient for the user to control the display method of the first image according to their needs.

[0070] In one possible implementation, the image display method may also include the following steps:

[0071] The display characterizes the target identifier in the target mode.

[0072] After the display mode is switched to the target mode, the target element in the first image is displayed based on the target mode, and a prompt message indicating that the current display mode is the target mode is also displayed.

[0073] In one possible implementation, the prompt message could be a target identifier in target mode. For example, the target identifier could be a preset character output at a preset position on the display screen.

[0074] The preset character can be: optimization, optimized display, clear processing, clear display, clear mode, etc. This application does not limit the specific content of the preset character.

[0075] In one possible implementation, the target identifier can be displayed in a manner that covers a portion of the first image, which does not obscure at least a part of the target element, can completely not obscure the target element, or can partially obscure the target element.

[0076] As an example, the location where the target identifier is displayed on the screen can be at the edge of the screen, or at a corner of the screen, etc.

[0077] In one possible implementation, the target identifier can be displayed semi-transparently so that the user can see the target element in the first image through the target identifier.

[0078] Figure 4This is another schematic diagram of the content displayed on the display screen provided in the embodiments of this application. The diagram includes a target element 401 and a target identifier 402 displayed based on a target mode. The target identifier 402 is displayed in a semi-transparent form in the lower right corner in a "clear mode," indicating to the user that the currently displayed image is output through the target mode. The semi-transparent display is represented in gray in the diagram.

[0079] Figure 5 This is yet another schematic diagram of the content displayed on the display screen provided in the embodiments of this application. Figure 5 The image in the middle left is a schematic diagram of the default display mode. Figure 5 The right-middle image is a schematic diagram of the target mode display. In the default display mode, the first image 501 is located in the center of the display screen and is displayed as a thin strip. The target element is in the center of the first image, but it is too small for the user to see clearly under target viewing conditions. In target mode, the target element 5011 in the first image 501 is presented in the center of the display screen, and the user can see it clearly under target viewing conditions. In addition, the target identifier 502 "Clear Mode" is displayed in the lower left corner of the display screen.

[0080] In this embodiment, when the target element is displayed in a display mode that does not meet the target conditions based on the target mode, a target identifier indicating that the display mode is in the target mode is also displayed, so as to prompt the user to switch to the target mode, so that the user knows that the content currently displayed on the display screen is displayed and output in the target mode.

[0081] Figure 6 This is a flowchart illustrating a process for determining whether a first image meets target conditions, provided in an embodiment of this application. It may include steps 601 to 604, which are described in detail below.

[0082] 601. Obtain the image parameters of the first image;

[0083] The image parameters can include image resolution, image size, etc.

[0084] In one possible implementation, the image parameters can be carried in the image data of the first image, and the image parameters of the first image can be obtained by parsing the image data.

[0085] 602. Obtain the first physical display parameters of the display screen;

[0086] The first physical display parameters of the display screen may include the physical resolution and physical size of the display screen. The physical size may include the length and width of the display screen.

[0087] In one possible implementation, the configuration parameters of the display screen can be obtained from a preset storage area, which stores parameters such as the physical resolution and physical size of the display screen.

[0088] 603. If the image parameters do not match the first physical display parameters, the first image meets the target conditions;

[0089] Compare the image parameters with the first physical display parameters to determine the difference between them. If the difference is large, displaying the first image with the first physical display parameters on the display screen will result in a situation that meets the target conditions.

[0090] In the default display mode of electronic devices, the first image may be displayed on the screen in the default orientation based on its length and width. However, this display orientation does not match the length and width of the screen, resulting in a small image display area and making it difficult for users to see the target elements on the screen.

[0091] In the default display mode of electronic devices, the first image may be displayed according to the physical resolution of the display screen. If the resolution of the first image does not match the physical resolution of the display screen, the resolution of the first image will be adjusted, which may cause the user to not be able to see the target elements displayed on the display screen.

[0092] For example, in the default display mode, when the resolution of the first image is much smaller than the physical resolution of the display screen, the pixels are interpolated to obtain a higher resolution image displayed in the corresponding area. Because the original number of pixels is small, it is impossible to fill in the details after magnification, so the interpolated image is unclear. When the resolution of the first image is much larger than the physical resolution of the display screen, the pixels are merged when the first image is displayed, merging multiple pixels in the first image into one pixel to obtain a lower resolution image displayed in the corresponding area. The image with lower resolution is smoother and has a better visual experience, but the details in the first image are lost, and if it is shrunk too much, it will also cause the user to not be able to see the first image clearly.

[0093] In the default display mode of electronic devices, the display may be based on the resolution of the first image. If the resolution of the first image does not match the physical resolution of the display screen, resulting in the first image not being fully displayed or only displayed in a very small area on the display screen, it will also cause the user to not be able to see the target elements displayed on the display screen.

[0094] For example, in the default display mode, if the resolution of the first image is much smaller than the physical resolution of the display screen, the first image will be displayed in a very small area on the screen based on its resolution. If the screen size is very small, the user will not be able to see the target element in the displayed first image. If the resolution of the first image is much larger than the physical resolution of the display screen, the display will be based on its resolution, and only a portion of the first image will be displayed on the screen. If the displayed portion does not contain the target element, the user will also not be able to see the target element.

[0095] Therefore, in this embodiment, the image parameters of the first image and the first physical display parameters of the display screen can be combined to determine whether the two match. If they do not match, the first image can be determined to meet the target conditions; otherwise, the first image does not meet the target conditions.

[0096] In one possible implementation, determining whether the image parameters match the first physical display parameters can be done from two dimensions: the resolution ratio and the physical size of the display screen.

[0097] First, calculate the ratio between the image resolution of the first image and the physical resolution of the display screen. If the ratio is within a first preset ratio range, it indicates that the resolution difference between the two is not significant, and even if interpolation or merging is performed, it will not cause the user to have difficulty seeing the image clearly. Therefore, the first image is determined not to meet the target condition. If the ratio is greater than the upper limit of the first preset ratio range, it indicates that the resolution difference between the two is too large, and pixel merging will cause the user to have difficulty seeing the image clearly. Therefore, the first image is determined to meet the target condition. If the ratio is within a second preset ratio range (the upper limit of the second preset ratio range is less than the lower limit of the first preset ratio range), and the physical size of the display screen is greater than the preset physical size, it indicates that the first image is displayed in a smaller area on the display screen. However, since the display screen size is large enough, the user can still see the image clearly. Therefore, the first image is determined not to meet the target condition. If the ratio is within a second preset ratio range, and the physical size of the display screen is not greater than the preset physical size, it indicates that the first image is displayed in a smaller area on the display screen. Since the display screen size is not large enough, the user cannot see the image clearly. Therefore, the first image is determined to meet the target condition.

[0098] As an example, the first preset ratio range can be [0.9, 1.1], and the second preset ratio range can be [0.7, 0.9]. It should be noted that the above two preset ratio ranges are only examples; in actual implementation, the values can be set according to the actual situation.

[0099] 604. If the image parameters match the first physical display parameters, the first image does not meet the target conditions.

[0100] If the image parameters match the first physical display parameters, it can be determined that when the first image is displayed on the screen, the user can directly see the target elements in the first image, and the first image does not meet the target conditions.

[0101] In this embodiment, the image parameters of the first image and the first physical display parameters of the display screen are obtained respectively. By determining whether the two match, it is determined whether the first image meets the target conditions. If the two do not match, it is determined that the first image meets the target conditions. The parameters are quantified to determine whether the user can see the first image clearly when it is displayed on the display screen, so as to switch the display mode when the user cannot see it clearly, thereby improving the user experience.

[0102] Figure 7 This is a flowchart illustrating a process for displaying a target element in a manner that does not meet the target conditions, based on a target mode, according to an embodiment of this application. It may include steps 701 to 703, which are described in detail below.

[0103] 701. Based on the image parameters and the first physical display parameters, determine the target area required to display the target element in the first image on the display screen according to the image parameters;

[0104] If the resolution of the first image is greater than the first physical display parameter of the display screen, in order to display the target element in the first image so that the user can see it clearly, it is necessary to control the display based on the target element.

[0105] In one possible implementation, in target mode, based on the image resolution in the image parameters of the first image, the number of pixels and pixel arrangement rules corresponding to the target element at that image resolution can be determined, and the target area required for display on the display screen can be determined based on the number of pixels and pixel arrangement rules.

[0106] 702. Determine the display window based on the target area;

[0107] The target area is the area in the first image where the target element is displayed on the display screen according to the image parameters. The target area can occupy a portion of the display window.

[0108] Generally, if the target area is smaller than the size of the display screen, the target area can be used as the corresponding area for subsequent display.

[0109] In one possible implementation, the target area can be used to determine the display window, which can be a shape that surrounds the target area and matches the physical size of the display screen.

[0110] 703. Obtain the target image based on the display window and the first image. The target image contains the target element.

[0111] Based on the determined display window and the first image, a target image is determined. The target image contains a portion of the display window area defined by the resolution of the first image and the size of the display window.

[0112] Subsequently, when the target image is displayed on the screen, the target element in the first image will be displayed, while other areas will not be displayed. Since the target element is the main content to be displayed, displaying it on the screen has achieved the purpose of display.

[0113] Figure 8 This is yet another schematic diagram of the content displayed on the display screen provided in the embodiments of this application. Figure 8 The image in the middle left is a schematic diagram of the default display mode. Figure 8 The right-middle image is a schematic diagram of the target mode display. In the default display mode, the first image 801 is located in the center of the display screen and is displayed as a thin strip extending vertically. The target element 8011 is located in the center of the first image. On the display screen, this target element is too small for the user to see clearly under target viewing conditions. In target mode, the target element 8011 in the first image 801 is presented in the center of the display screen, and the user can see it clearly under target viewing conditions.

[0114] In this embodiment, based on image parameters and first physical display parameters, a target area is determined for displaying the target element in the first image on the display screen according to the image parameters; a display window is determined based on the target area; a target image is obtained based on the display window and the first image, and the target image contains the target element; by determining the target area corresponding to the display of the target element based on the image parameters of the first image, the display window is determined, and a portion of the content of the first image is output in the display window, so that the target element is displayed on the display screen with a higher display area, so that the target element can be clearly seen by the user under target viewing conditions without manual image adjustment, thus improving viewing efficiency.

[0115] In one possible implementation, the target element is displayed in a way that does not meet the target conditions, based on the target pattern, including:

[0116] Based on the fact that the first image is displayed at a first angle on the display screen, the display angle of the first image on the display screen is adjusted to a second angle, and the target image is obtained by combining the image parameters.

[0117] Specifically, at a first angle, the first image edge of the first image is parallel to the first screen edge of the display screen; at a second angle, the first image edge is parallel to the second screen edge of the display screen; the first screen edge is perpendicular to the second screen edge and the length of the first screen edge is greater than the length of the second screen edge; the first image edge is perpendicular to the second image edge and the length of the first image edge is less than the length of the second image edge.

[0118] In the default display mode, the first image is displayed on the screen. One possibility is that the image's aspect ratio is mismatched with the screen, resulting in a smaller display area for the target element, making it difficult for the user to see the target element clearly. This can be resolved by adjusting the display angle of the first image.

[0119] The first image is a rectangle, with the first image's side being its width and the second image's side being its length. The display screen is also rectangular, with the first screen's side being its length and the second screen's side being its width.

[0120] In one possible implementation, in the default display mode, the first image is displayed on the screen at a first angle, with its long side parallel to the wide side of the screen. Upon switching to the target mode, the display angle of the first image is controlled to adjust its aspect ratio so that the long side of the first image is parallel to the long side of the screen, and the display orientation of the target image on the screen matches the physical size of the screen.

[0121] Figure 9 This is another schematic diagram illustrating the content displayed on the display screen provided in the embodiments of this application. Figure 9 The image in the middle left is a schematic diagram of the default display mode. Figure 9 The image on the right is a schematic diagram of the target mode. In the default display mode, the first image 901 is located in the center of the display screen and extends vertically, with empty areas on the left and right sides that do not display any content. Figure 9 The blank area is represented by black. Target element 9011 is located in the center of the first image. On the display screen, this target element is small and cannot be clearly seen by the user under target viewing conditions. In target mode, the aspect ratio of the first image 901 is the same as that of the display screen, and the target element 9011 of the first image 901 is larger when displayed on the screen, allowing the user to see it clearly under target viewing conditions.

[0122] In one possible implementation, in target mode, during the process of controlling and adjusting the display angle of the first image, a portion of the first image can be cropped. This cropped portion contains the target element. Based on the resolution of the first image, the pixels corresponding to the target element displayed on the display screen, as well as the content range surrounding the target element corresponding to the pixels on the display screen, can be determined. After the display angle of the first image is adjusted, the target image is obtained on the display screen by combining the target element as the main element with the content surrounding the target element. The target image is then output on the display screen so that the user can clearly see the target element when it is displayed.

[0123] Figure 10 This is yet another schematic diagram of the content displayed on the display screen provided in the embodiments of this application. Figure 10 The image in the middle left is a schematic diagram of the default display mode. Figure 10 The right-hand image is a schematic diagram of the target mode. In the default display mode, the first image is displayed according to the physical resolution and size of the display screen. The first image 1001 is located in the central area of the display screen and extends vertically, with empty areas on the left and right sides. These empty areas do not display any content. Figure 10 The blank area is represented in black. Target element 10011 is located in the central area of the first image. On the display screen, this target element is small and cannot be clearly seen by the user under target viewing conditions. In target mode, the aspect ratio of the first image 1001 is the same as that of the display screen. Moreover, the area of the first image containing the target element is used as the target image and displayed on the screen. In this target image, the target element 10011 is larger and can be clearly seen by the user under target viewing conditions. The display screen shows only a portion of the first image containing the target element.

[0124] In one possible implementation, in target mode, during the process of controlling and adjusting the display angle of the first image, the display of the area containing the target element in the first image can also be determined. Based on the resolution of the first image, the pixels corresponding to the target element displayed on the screen, and the content range surrounding the target element corresponding to those pixels on the screen, can be determined. After adjusting the display angle of the first image, a target image is obtained on the screen, primarily based on the target element and its surrounding content. This target image is then output to the screen so that the user can clearly see the target element when it is displayed. In this implementation, the display of the target element in the first image is adjusted, while the remaining portion is displayed using parameters from the default mode.

[0125] Figure 11 This is another schematic diagram of the content displayed on the display screen provided in the embodiments of this application. Figure 11The image in the middle left is a schematic diagram of the default display mode. Figure 11 The right-hand image is a schematic diagram of the target mode. In the default display mode, the first image is displayed according to the physical resolution and size of the display screen. This first image 1101 is located in the central area of the display screen and extends vertically, with empty areas on the left and right sides. These empty areas do not display any content. Figure 11 The blank area is represented by black. Target element 11011 is located in the central area of the first image. On the display screen, this target element is small and cannot be clearly seen by the user under target viewing conditions. In target mode, the aspect ratio of the first image 1101 is the same as that of the display screen. The target element in the first image is displayed according to the image resolution (resolution greater than the physical resolution), while the remaining parts of the first image are displayed according to the physical resolution of the display screen. When the target image is displayed on the screen, target element 11011 appears relatively large and can be clearly seen by the user under target viewing conditions. In this image, the target element is represented by a circle, and the content surrounding the target element is represented by a square outside the circle.

[0126] In this embodiment, by adjusting the display angle of the first image on the display screen so that the display angle of the first image on the display screen corresponds to the aspect ratio of the display screen, the target element is displayed on the display screen with a larger display area, so that the user can see the target element clearly under the target viewing conditions.

[0127] In one possible implementation, determining whether the first image meets the target condition may include the following steps:

[0128] Obtain feedback from the user when viewing the first image; if the feedback indicates that the user cannot recognize the first image displayed on the screen, the first image meets the target condition.

[0129] The feedback information can be information directly collected by sensors in electronic devices, or information obtained through further analysis based on information collected by sensors.

[0130] In one possible implementation, feedback information may also include the user's body movements, which are used to determine whether the user has made unreasonable efforts or spent an unreasonable amount of time.

[0131] In one possible implementation, the feedback could also include the user's body movements. For example, zooming in, zooming out, or dragging the content displayed on the screen, squinting, leaning forward, moving closer to the screen, or repeatedly reading the content on the screen.

[0132] Specifically, feedback information such as zooming in, zooming out, or dragging the content displayed on the screen can be collected by the data processing structure in the electronic device; feedback information such as repeatedly reading the content on the screen can be analyzed by the user images collected by the timing device and image acquisition device in the electronic device to determine that the user has been reading the content displayed on the screen for a relatively long time; feedback information such as squinting, leaning forward, or moving closer to the screen can be obtained by analyzing the user images collected by the image acquisition device.

[0133] If, based on the feedback, it is determined that the user has made unreasonable efforts or spent an unreasonable amount of time reading the content displayed on the screen, or that the user has adopted an abnormal posture and distance, or has used additional assistive tools, etc., and it is determined based on the feedback that the user cannot recognize the first image displayed on the screen, then it can be determined that the first image meets the target condition, and the target element can be displayed in the target mode so that the user can see the target element clearly in a timely manner.

[0134] In this embodiment, feedback information from the user viewing the first image is obtained. If the feedback information indicates that the user cannot recognize the first image displayed on the screen, it can be determined that the first image meets the target condition. When the first image is displayed on the screen, the user's feedback information can be used to determine whether the user can recognize the first image. If the user can recognize it, it can be determined that the display of the first image is correct. Otherwise, if the user cannot recognize it, the first image meets the target condition, and the display mode of the electronic device needs to be switched to the target mode to display the target element so that the user can see the target element clearly in a timely manner.

[0135] In one possible implementation, displaying the target element based on the target pattern and in a display manner that satisfies the target conditions may include the following steps:

[0136] Get the user's viewing criteria for images; based on the target pattern, display the target element in a way that matches the viewing criteria but does not meet the target criteria.

[0137] The viewing conditions can be things like the viewing distance of the user when viewing the image, and these conditions can affect how well the user views the content displayed on the screen.

[0138] In one possible implementation, the viewing condition is the user's viewing distance from the image. Generally, the closer the viewing distance, the smaller the physical size of the object that can be clearly seen, and vice versa. Therefore, based on this target pattern and the viewing distance, the size of the target image can be determined, and the size of the target image matches the viewing distance. The target image contains the target element, and its size is determined so that the user can clearly see the target element at that viewing distance.

[0139] Figure 12 This is another schematic diagram of the content displayed on the display screen provided in the embodiments of this application. The diagram illustrates the content displayed on the display screen at two viewing distances. Figure 12 The image in the middle left corresponds to the target element 1201 displayed on the screen at the first viewing distance. Figure 12 The right-hand image corresponds to the target element 1202 displayed on the screen at the second viewing distance. The first viewing distance is smaller than the second viewing distance, and the display range of the target element 1201 on the screen is smaller than the display range of the target element 1202.

[0140] In this embodiment, the viewing conditions of the user for viewing the image are obtained; based on the target mode, the target element is displayed in a way that matches the viewing conditions and satisfies the target conditions. In the target mode, the target element is displayed in combination with the user's viewing conditions for viewing the image, so as to make it convenient for the user to quickly see the target element on the display screen while matching the user's viewing conditions.

[0141] Figure 13 This is another flowchart illustrating the determination of whether the first image meets the target conditions provided in the embodiments of this application. It may include steps 1301 to 1303, which will be described in detail below.

[0142] 1301. Determine the physical size of the target element in the first image displayed on the display screen based on the second physical display parameters of the display screen;

[0143] The second physical display parameter may include the number of pixels on the display screen and its physical size.

[0144] In the default display mode, when the first image is displayed on the display screen, the physical size of the target element within it is determined on the display screen.

[0145] Since the target element is content that needs to be displayed to the user, its physical size on the display screen directly affects the user's viewing experience. The user's ability to quickly see the element can be determined by combining the physical size with the environment.

[0146] In one possible implementation, the target element can be a single word.

[0147] When a person looks at text on a screen, their eyes perceive the angle at which the characters are projected onto the retina, not in millimeters or pixels. This projection angle is called the viewing angle, and its unit is arcmin, where 1° = 60 arcmin. If the characters are too small or the viewing distance is too far, the viewing angle becomes smaller, making it difficult to distinguish stroke details, resulting in the text appearing "unreadable."

[0148] The optimal resolution of the human eye under normal conditions is approximately 1 arcmin, which corresponds to the distance between two lines that can be distinguished. Since reading text requires not only distinguishing strokes but also recognizing character structures, a viewing angle of at least 20 arcmin is typically needed for comfortable reading. If the viewing angle is lower than this value, users will experience problems such as squinting, needing to move closer to the screen, slower reading speed, and increased error rates.

[0149] In the field of digital typesetting (such as Word, UI (User Interface Design) design, font size is used to indicate the size of characters.

[0150] Due to the physical size limitations of display screens, the corresponding viewing angles will differ even for the same font size. Font size (pt) is the unit for setting the current text size; 1 pt = 1 / 72 inch (approximately 0.3528 mm). For example, "12 pt font size" means that the design height of the font is approximately 12 points, or 12 × (1 / 72 inch) ≈ 4.23 mm.

[0151] For example, for mobile phones, at a viewing distance of 30 to 45 centimeters, when the font size is approximately 10 to 12 pt, the character height corresponds to approximately 20 arcmin. This 20 arcmin is the critical value for human eye to view text. For desktop monitors, at a viewing distance of 50 to 70 centimeters, when the font size is approximately 12 to 14 pt, the character height corresponds to approximately 20 arcmin. If the font size is less than 12 pt, especially for Chinese characters with complex strokes, users are likely to find it "unreadable."

[0152] Accordingly, in this embodiment, the physical size of the target element displayed on the display screen is determined based on the size of the display screen and the font size of the target element in the first image.

[0153] In one possible implementation, step 1301 includes:

[0154] 13012. Obtain the set of pixels corresponding to the target element in the first image displayed on the screen;

[0155] Since the first image is displayed to show its target element, the physical size of the target element can be determined by the set of pixels on the display screen.

[0156] In one possible implementation, the target element is displayed on a display screen, and the set of pixels corresponding to the target element is determined from the display content of the display screen.

[0157] 13012. Based on the physical size of the display screen, the pixel parameters of the display screen, and the pixel set corresponding to the target element, determine the physical size of the target content displayed on the display screen. The second physical display parameters include the physical size of the display screen and the pixel parameters.

[0158] In one possible implementation, the set of pixels corresponding to the target element on the display screen is known. Based on the pixel parameters of the display screen, the proportion of the target element on the display screen can be determined. Based on the physical size of the display screen and the proportion, the physical size of the target element displayed on the display screen can be calculated. The physical size can be the height of the character.

[0159] 1302. If the physical size is smaller than the first preset size threshold or larger than the second preset size threshold, the first image meets the target condition, and the second preset size threshold is greater than the first preset size threshold.

[0160] In one scenario, the first image contains very little content, and only a few characters are captured. When displayed in the default display mode, the display area corresponding to these characters is too large, causing the characters to almost fill the entire screen. This makes it difficult for users to quickly focus their vision and thus makes it hard to see them clearly.

[0161] If the character is too small and does not reach the threshold for human eyes to see text, it will also cause users to be unable to see it quickly.

[0162] Therefore, in this embodiment, a first preset size threshold and a second preset size threshold are set, which can be the upper and lower threshold values for the human eye to clearly see the text on the display screen.

[0163] If the physical size is less than the first preset size threshold, it means that the physical size of the character on the display screen is too small and the user cannot see it quickly. If the physical size is greater than the second preset size threshold, it means that the physical size of the character on the display screen is too large and the user's vision is difficult to focus quickly and cannot see it quickly. Therefore, the first image meets the target condition.

[0164] As an example, the first preset size threshold can be the physical size corresponding to 12pt, such as 4.5 mm, and the second preset size threshold can be a larger size, such as the physical size corresponding to 200pt, such as 70 mm.

[0165] 1303. If the physical size is greater than the first preset size threshold and less than the second preset size threshold, the first image does not meet the target conditions.

[0166] If the physical size of the target element displayed on the screen is within the first preset size threshold and the second preset size threshold, it can be determined that the physical size of the target element on the screen conforms to the normal range of human eye viewing. Therefore, the user can quickly see that the first image does not meet the target conditions.

[0167] In this embodiment, the physical size of the target element in the first image displayed on the display screen is determined based on the second physical display parameters of the display screen. If the physical size is less than a first preset size threshold or greater than a second preset size threshold, the first image meets the target condition, and the second preset size threshold is greater than the first preset size threshold. The physical size of the target element in the first image displayed on the display screen is first determined, and then used to quantify whether the user can quickly see the target element displayed on the display screen. This allows for switching display modes when the user cannot see the element clearly, improving the user experience.

[0168] Figure 14 This is another flowchart illustrating the display of target elements based on a target mode to meet target conditions, provided by an embodiment of this application. It may include steps 1401 to 1403, which will be described in detail below.

[0169] 1401. Identify the target elements contained in the first image;

[0170] A preset recognition program can be used to identify target elements contained in the first image. These target elements can be text.

[0171] In one possible implementation, an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) program can be used to recognize the content in the first image and obtain the text in the first image.

[0172] 1402. Convert the target elements contained in the first image into target elements of the target format;

[0173] Since the target element in the first image has been identified, it can be converted into the target format.

[0174] In one possible implementation, the target element is text, and the target format can be text format.

[0175] The target element is in image format in the first image, which can be converted to text format.

[0176] 1403. Display the output target element in the target format.

[0177] The physical size of the target format output content can be preset. This preset physical size is consistent with the physical size of other target format content outputs in the electronic device. The physical size of the target format content in the electronic device can be user-defined or system-configured, ensuring that the user can clearly see it. Therefore, when the target element is displayed in the target format, the user can ensure that the target element is clearly visible.

[0178] If the target element is text, convert the text in the first image into text format and display it as text so that the user can see it clearly.

[0179] In one possible implementation, if it is first determined that the target element contained in the first image is text and the first image meets the target conditions, a prompt can be made in the first control output on the display screen to ask whether to convert the image to text format. If a confirmation message is received to confirm the conversion, the display mode is switched to the target mode, and the text in the image is converted to text format for display output.

[0180] Figure 15 This is yet another schematic diagram of the content displayed on the display screen provided in the embodiments of this application. Figure 15 The image in the middle left is a schematic diagram of the default display mode. Figure 15 The image on the right is a schematic diagram of the target mode display. In the default display mode, the first image 1501 is located in the center of the display screen and is displayed as a thin strip extending horizontally. The target element is the text in the first image. On the display screen, this target element is too small for the user to see clearly under target viewing conditions. In target mode, the text in the first image is extracted, and the text is output in text format on the display screen. The text is: "Quiet Night Thoughts by Li Bai, Before my bed, the bright moonlight shines, I wonder if it is frost on the ground. I raise my head to gaze at the bright moon, I lower my head to think of my hometown."

[0181] In this embodiment, the target element contained in the first image is identified; the target element contained in the first image is converted into a target element in a target format; and the target element is displayed and output in the target format. By converting the target element in the image format into the target format and displaying and outputting the target element in the target format, it can conform to the physical size for human eye viewing, making it convenient for users to quickly see the target element displayed on the screen.

[0182] In one possible implementation, determining whether the first image meets the target condition may include the following steps:

[0183] The first image is analyzed according to the preset missing data analysis rules to obtain the analysis results of the first image;

[0184] The first image may be missing content for various reasons. If the missing content is the target element, then no matter how the first image is displayed, the user will not be able to quickly see the target element in the first image.

[0185] The missing content could be due to only capturing a portion of the original image, or it could be due to information loss caused by multiple transmissions, such as missing metadata or reduced resolution.

[0186] Accordingly, the preset missing data analysis rules may include: image integrity check rules, check code check rules, image metadata check rules, image resolution and size check rules, etc.

[0187] As an example, the integrity of an image can be checked to determine if there is any unfinished content at the image edges. If so, it can be determined that only a portion of the original image was cropped, and the first image is missing content. A checksum can be performed to determine if the checksum in the first image is accurate. If the checksum is inaccurate, it can be determined that data packets were lost during transmission, and the first image is missing content. The image's metadata can be checked by comparing the parameters recorded in the metadata with the actual parameters of the image (such as the actual data volume and actual image size). If they are different, it can be determined that the first image is missing content. Finally, the image resolution and size can be checked. If the image has a low resolution but a large size, it can also be inferred that the first image is missing content.

[0188] In one possible implementation, a missing content detection program can be pre-set to determine whether the first image has missing content and to obtain the analysis results.

[0189] If the analysis results indicate that the content of the first image is missing, the first image is determined to meet the target conditions.

[0190] If the analysis results indicate that the content of the first image is not missing, then the first image is determined not to meet the target conditions.

[0191] If the analysis result indicates that the content of the first image is missing, it is determined that the first image meets the target conditions and needs to be switched to the target mode to display the target elements in the first image; otherwise, the first image does not meet the target conditions and can be displayed in the default mode.

[0192] In the target mode, an AI (Artificial Intelligence) model can be invoked to utilize the powerful understanding and processing capabilities of the AI model to repair the missing content in the first image and obtain the target image.

[0193] In this embodiment, the first image is analyzed according to preset missing content analysis rules to obtain the analysis results. If the analysis results indicate that the content of the first image is missing, the first image is determined to meet the target condition; otherwise, the first image does not meet the target condition. The preset missing content analysis rules determine whether the first image has missing content. If content is missing, the displayed first image cannot show all the original content, causing the user to be unable to quickly see the target elements of the first image. The preset missing content analysis rules can be used to determine whether the user can quickly see the target elements of the first image from the perspective of missing content.

[0194] In one possible implementation, determining whether the first image meets the target condition may include the following steps:

[0195] Based on at least two preset target conditions, determine whether the first image meets the target conditions;

[0196] Multiple target conditions can be preset. One target condition can be a type of image that is not visible. The target condition can include the conditions used in the aforementioned embodiments to determine whether the first image meets the target conditions.

[0197] For example, determining whether the image parameters of the first image match the first physical display parameters, whether the feedback information from the user viewing the first image contains unrecognizable information, and whether the physical size of the target element of the first image on the display screen is smaller than a first preset size threshold or larger than a second preset size threshold.

[0198] Based on the fact that the first image satisfies any one of at least two target conditions, it is determined that the first image satisfies the target conditions, and based on the target conditions satisfied by the first image, the processing strategy corresponding to the target conditions is determined.

[0199] If the first image satisfies any one of the multiple target conditions, it can be determined that the first image satisfies the target condition, and the display mode of the electronic device enters the target mode.

[0200] You can pre-set the corresponding processing method for each type of unclear image.

[0201] Once the target conditions that the first image meets are determined, the type of target element that the user cannot see can be identified. Accordingly, in target mode, the first image can be processed in a way that corresponds to this type so that the output target element can be seen by the user.

[0202] The different processing methods can be referred to the explanation in the foregoing embodiments, and will not be repeated here.

[0203] In this embodiment, based on at least two preset target conditions, it is determined whether the first image meets the target conditions; based on the first image meeting any one of the at least two target conditions, it is determined that the first image meets the target conditions, and based on the target conditions met by the first image, a processing strategy corresponding to the target conditions is determined, thereby realizing that for types of target elements that are not clearly visible, the corresponding clear processing method is adopted in the target mode.

[0204] Figure 16 This is another flowchart illustrating the determination of whether the first image meets the target conditions provided in the embodiments of this application. It may include steps 1601 to 1603, which will be described in detail below.

[0205] 1601. Based on the fact that the first image is obtained from the first application, obtain the interaction information in the first application;

[0206] The first image may be transmitted to the client on the other end through an interactive application. After receiving the first image, the client of this electronic device outputs and displays the first image.

[0207] The first image can also be obtained from the local storage space of the electronic device through the first application.

[0208] The first application can be any application capable of transmitting interactive information, which may include images, text, files, etc. This application does not impose any restrictions on the content transmitted by the application.

[0209] Upon receiving the first image, the user can either click on it to open it in full-screen mode or view it directly in the interactive interface.

[0210] After receiving the first image, the user will discuss its content or continue the discussion. Therefore, the interaction information within the first application can be used to determine whether the user can clearly see the content of the first image.

[0211] Since users can only view the image after receiving the first image, the interaction information after receiving the first image can be obtained, and this interaction information can be used to determine whether it contains information representing the target content.

[0212] 1602. If the interactive information contains information representing the target content, the first image satisfies the target condition, and the target content representation cannot identify the target element contained in the first image;

[0213] Generally, if the user cannot see the content in the first image clearly, they will continue to communicate, and the content of the communication will include information such as "cannot see clearly" indicating that the user cannot recognize the content in the first image.

[0214] Since the first image is used to output the target element to the user, the corresponding interactive information that the user cannot recognize actually indicates that the target element contained in the first image cannot be recognized.

[0215] In one possible implementation, pre-defined words can be used. These pre-defined words represent information about the target content, such as "unclear" or "not visible." By querying the interaction information to see if the pre-defined words exist, it can be determined whether the first image meets the target conditions.

[0216] If the interactive information contains the preset word, it is determined that the interactive information contains information representing the target content, then the first image satisfies the target condition.

[0217] 1603. If the interactive information does not contain information representing the target content, the first image does not meet the target conditions.

[0218] If the interactive information does not contain the preset word, it is determined that the interactive information does not contain information representing the target content, and therefore the first image does not meet the target condition.

[0219] In this embodiment, based on the fact that the first image is obtained from a first application, interactive information from that first application is acquired. If the interactive information contains information representing target content, the first image meets the target condition, and the target content representation cannot identify the target element contained in the first image. Based on the fact that the first image is obtained from the first application, interactive information from that first application is also acquired to determine whether the user can clearly see the target element in the first image, in conjunction with the interactive information.

[0220] One possible implementation also includes:

[0221] Display a second control, which is used to send the target element after its format conversion.

[0222] After obtaining the first image from the first application, if the first image meets the target conditions, the target element can be switched to target mode and displayed in a display mode that does not meet the target conditions, and the converted target element can also be sent to the other end.

[0223] In one possible implementation, the target element, converted to the target format, can be sent to the peer client.

[0224] As an example, the target element after the format conversion is text in text format, and this text in text format is sent to the peer client.

[0225] A second control can be set, which is used to trigger the sending of the target element after the format conversion.

[0226] For example, the second control can be output as a button or a dialog box.

[0227] In one possible implementation, when the converted target element is displayed on the screen, a preset prompt message is also displayed to indicate the function of the second control. For example, the prompt message could be "Send Text," etc.

[0228] Figure 17 This is another schematic diagram of the content displayed on the screen provided in this application embodiment. The displayed content includes a target element 1701 and a second control 1702. The target element is the text "Quiet Night Thoughts by Li Bai: Before my bed, the bright moonlight shines, I wonder if it is frost on the ground. I raise my head to gaze at the bright moon, then lower my head to think of my hometown." The second control 1702 is displayed in the lower right corner of the screen, and it displays "Send Text." The second control can be triggered by the user clicking on the area where it is located. When the second control is triggered, the text in this format is sent.

[0229] Of course Figure 17 The diagram shown illustrates the second control displayed on the screen, but this application is not limited to this; the second control may be displayed on the screen in other forms.

[0230] In this embodiment, a second control is also displayed in the target mode. This second control is used to send the target element after the format conversion, so that the user can send the target element after the format conversion, making the operation convenient.

[0231] This application also provides an electronic device (not shown), which can be a mobile phone, tablet, or laptop, etc. The electronic device in this embodiment may include the following structure:

[0232] A display screen used to display images;

[0233] The processor controls the display screen to display a first image; the first image contains a target element; based on the first image satisfying the target conditions, the display mode is switched to the target mode, satisfying the target conditions indicating that the user cannot recognize the target element under the target viewing conditions; based on the target mode, the processor controls the display screen to display the target element in a display mode that does not satisfy the target conditions.

[0234] This application also provides another electronic device in its embodiments. (See reference...) Figure 18The diagram illustrates a structural schematic of an electronic device suitable for implementing the image display method in the embodiments of this application. The electronic device in the embodiments of this application may include, but is not limited to, fixed terminals such as mobile phones, laptops, PDAs (personal digital assistants), PADs (tablet computers), desktop computers, etc. Figure 18 The electronic device shown is merely an example and should not impose any limitation on the functionality and scope of use of the embodiments of this application.

[0235] like Figure 18 As shown, the electronic device may include a processing unit (e.g., a central processing unit, a graphics processing unit, etc.) 1801, which can perform various appropriate actions and processes according to a program stored in a read-only memory (ROM) 1802 or a program loaded from a storage device 1808 into a random access memory (RAM) 1803. When the electronic device is powered on, the RAM 1803 also stores various programs and data required for the operation of the electronic device. The processing unit 1801, ROM 1802, and RAM 1803 are interconnected via a bus 1804. An input / output (I / O) interface 1805 is also connected to the bus 1804.
