Firmware function verification method, device, equipment, storage medium and program product

Abstract

The application discloses a firmware function verification method and device, equipment, a storage medium and a program product, and relates to the technical field of firmware testing. The firmware function verification method comprises the following steps: reading a module capability register of a to-be-tested optical module to obtain a claimed support state of the to-be-tested optical module; performing automatic testing on protocol function items of the to-be-tested optical module to obtain real behavior results of the protocol function items; and comparing the real behavior results with the claimed support state item by item to obtain firmware function verification results. By comparing the real behavior results with the claimed support state item by item, the claimed support state and the actual performance are compared item by item, the verification result can be used as objective evidence for optical module procurement acceptance, supplier comparison and fault positioning, the verification results of different manufacturers have unified data formats and judgment logic, and the verification results can be conveniently put into a database for horizontal comparison, thereby providing data support for multi-manufacturer selection.
