A nanobody targeting a sialylated carbohydrate antigen (kl-6) and uses thereof

Abstract

This invention belongs to the fields of immunology and molecular biology, specifically relating to a nanobody targeting the sialylated glycan antigen (KL-6) and its applications. The nanobody comprises any one of five sets of complementary determinant regions. This invention also provides a nucleic acid molecule encoding the nanobody, a carrier and host cell containing the nucleic acid molecule, a fusion protein and conjugate containing the nanobody, and a pharmaceutical composition containing the above substances. The nanobody of this invention exhibits high specificity and affinity, and can be used to prepare KL-6 detection reagents, in vivo imaging probes, or therapeutic products, particularly showing broad application prospects in the diagnosis and treatment of KL-6-related diseases such as interstitial lung disease.
