Self-cleaning method and device for a cleaning appliance and cleaning appliance

Abstract

The application provides a self-cleaning method and device of a cleaning device and the cleaning device, and relates to the technical field of cleaning devices. The cleaning device comprises a heating assembly and a water pump assembly. The heating assembly is located in a heating cavity and is used for heating liquid in the heating cavity. The water pump assembly is used for supplying liquid to the heating cavity. The method comprises the following steps: in response to a self-cleaning instruction, controlling the cleaning device to execute a self-cleaning process; during the execution of the self-cleaning process by the cleaning device, and in the case that there is residual liquid in the heating cavity, controlling the water pump assembly to be closed and controlling the heating assembly to be started to evaporate the liquid in the heating cavity. Thus, the problems of low hot water or steam preparation efficiency, bacterial breeding and scale deposition caused by residual cold water in the heating cavity are solved, and the cleaning efficiency, equipment hygiene and service life are improved.
