Use of tryptophan in improving neonatal intestinal dysmaturity preparations

Abstract

The application belongs to the technical field of biological medicine and intestinal development regulation, and particularly relates to application of rubixanthin in preparation of a preparation for improving abnormal intestinal development of offspring caused by gestational diabetes. It is found for the first time that the level of rubixanthin in the intestine of offspring under the condition of gestational diabetes is significantly decreased, and the decrease is closely related to intestinal epithelial dysplasia. Animal experiments and function verification show that supplement of rubixanthin can significantly improve abnormal intestinal development of offspring of gestational diabetes, promote intestinal crypt cell proliferation and differentiation, and restore the structure and function of intestinal epithelial barrier. The rubixanthin can be used for preparing a medicine, a nutritional preparation or a dietary supplement, and is suitable for improving or preventing intestinal epithelial dysplasia, abnormal digestive function and related metabolic risks of offspring related to gestational diabetes. The application provides a safe, effective and targeted new intervention approach for abnormal intestinal development of offspring of gestational diabetes, and has a good application prospect.
