Description
Technical Field
[0001] This invention relates to the field of electronic smart door lock technology, specifically to an automatic charging device for electronic door locks and its usage method. Background Technology
[0002] With the rapid development and popularization of smart home technology, electronic door locks, with their advantages of high security, diverse unlocking methods, high level of intelligence, and ease of use, have gradually replaced traditional mechanical door locks and are widely used in various scenarios such as residential homes, hotel apartments, office buildings, and commercial venues. They integrate multiple functions such as fingerprint recognition, password unlocking, card swipe sensing, remote control, and intelligent alarms, meeting diverse security and usage needs of users, significantly improving the security level and ease of use of door locks, and becoming an important component of modern building security systems.
[0003] Currently, most electronic door locks on the market use built-in rechargeable batteries or dry cell batteries as their power source, resulting in a simple power supply structure that relies on manual intervention for recharging. Conventional power supply and charging methods mainly fall into two categories: one involves the user periodically removing the internal battery, connecting an external charging device for charging, and then reinstalling it; the other involves manually plugging and unplugging an external device such as a data cable or power bank through a pre-installed charging port on the door lock body. Both of these power supply methods require manual intervention and cannot achieve autonomous charging.
[0004] The traditional charging methods described above require users to periodically and manually remove the battery or plug and unplug the charging device to complete the charging process. This is a complicated daily maintenance procedure that consumes users' time and energy. Moreover, manual operation is highly unpredictable, and it is easy to forget to check the battery level and charge the device. Once the battery inside the door lock is completely depleted, all the smart functions of the electronic door lock, such as fingerprint, password, and remote unlocking, will become completely disabled, and the door lock will not be able to open normally, preventing users from entering the house. This causes great inconvenience to users' daily life, travel, and work, and may even pose a safety hazard in emergency situations, posing a high risk of use. Therefore, an automatic charging device for electronic door locks is proposed to address the above problems. Summary of the Invention
[0005] In order to overcome the shortcomings of the prior art and solve at least one technical problem in the background art, the present invention proposes an automatic charging device for electronic door locks.
[0006] The technical solution adopted by the present invention to solve its technical problem is: the electronic door lock automatic charging device of the present invention includes a lock body and a lock tongue box, wherein the lock body is installed on the door leaf and the lock tongue box is installed on the door frame; The lock body is movably connected to a main bolt, and at least two main bolts are provided. The main bolts can perform linear reciprocating motion. A battery is externally connected to the lock body via a wire; The ends of the two main locking tongues are respectively fixedly connected to concave positive contacts and concave negative contacts; Both the concave positive electrode contact and the concave negative electrode contact are electrically connected to the battery via wires; The latch box is equipped with a floating buffer conductive module, and the surface of the latch box is provided with a slot. The floating buffer conductive module is fixedly connected with a convex positive contact and a convex negative contact, and the convex positive contact and the convex negative contact are connected to an external power supply. The convex positive and negative contacts are matched and fitted together with the concave positive and negative contacts. The main latch is a square or round post. When the user closes the door, the main latch automatically extends and inserts into the slot of the latch box. At this time, the convex and concave positive contacts precisely align and fit together, and the convex and concave negative contacts also align and fit together, thereby automatically connecting the circuit between the external power supply and the door lock's built-in battery and starting automatic charging. When the user opens the door, the main latch retracts and disengages from the slot, the charging circuit is immediately disconnected, and the charging process ends. Users do not need to manually plug or unplug the charging device or remove the battery, truly achieving automated "lock and charge" charging without any manual intervention. The floating buffer conductive module not only effectively buffers the impact force generated during locking but also ensures stable contact between the contacts, preventing contact displacement or loose connections due to frequent door lock opening and closing, thus ensuring the reliability of the charging connection.
[0007] This solution addresses the issue of traditional door locks requiring manual charging and maintenance at irregular intervals. It not only improves charging efficiency but also eliminates the need to sacrifice some smart functions to extend battery life. Furthermore, it avoids the risk of the lock's smart functions malfunctioning due to users forgetting to check the battery level or perform charging, ensuring the lock always has normal opening capability and reducing potential safety hazards. It also prevents situations where the battery is forgotten to be reset after charging, thus avoiding electronic malfunctions, inability to open or close the door properly, and safety issues during use.
[0008] Preferably, the floating buffer conductive module includes a buffer guide plate made of insulating material. A spring is fixedly connected to one side of the buffer guide plate, and the other end of the spring is fixedly connected to the inner wall of the latch box. The buffer guide plate can move elastically along the direction of the positioning post. When the lock body drives the main latch to insert into the latch box, the concave contact at the end of the main latch first contacts the convex contact on the buffer guide plate. As the lock body continues to advance, the buffer guide plate compresses the spring and retracts. This allows the convex contact and the concave contact to continuously and stably fit together, ensuring conductive stability, and also buffers the impact force when the main latch closes, preventing the contacts from being deformed or damaged by impact, and ensuring the service life of the charging connection structure.
[0009] Preferably, a positioning post is fixedly connected to the inner wall of the locking tongue box, the spring is sleeved on the surface of the positioning post, and a through hole is opened on the surface of the buffer guide plate. The positioning post can accurately position and guide the buffer guide plate, effectively preventing it from shaking, swaying, or even accidentally falling off during operation.
[0010] Preferably, the through hole is elliptical, and the positioning post is movably connected through the through hole. The elliptical through hole design provides the buffer guide plate with the freedom to make slight displacement and angular adjustments within a limited range around the positioning post. When the lock body drives the main bolt to insert and contact the buffer guide plate, this elliptical hole structure allows the buffer guide plate to make small lateral or longitudinal micro-movements along the positioning post when subjected to non-fully axial forces or with minor alignment deviations. This adaptive micro-displacement mechanism enables the convex contact fixed on the buffer guide plate to more flexibly and accurately address and align with the concave contact at the end of the main bolt.
[0011] Preferably, the surface of the buffer guide plate is provided with a positioning groove, and the side wall of the positioning groove is provided with an angle. The convex positive contact and the convex negative contact are both set in the positioning groove, which facilitates the contact alignment and reduces the alignment difficulty in the insertion process. At the same time, the angled design can adaptively fine-tune the contact position when the buffer guide deviates, further improving the fault tolerance rate of the alignment and ensuring the stable connection of the charging circuit.
[0012] Preferably, a T-shaped wear-resistant insulating component is fixedly connected to the end of the main lock tongue. The main lock tongue has a hollow design, with the T-shaped insulating wear-resistant component embedded in its hollow end. A concave contact is connected to the center of the T-shaped insulating component, and a wire is connected to the concave contact, extending from the tail of the T-shaped insulating component. The wire runs inside the lock body and exits from the top of the lock body. The T-shaped wear-resistant insulating component can be made of any material, such as nylon, ceramic, or Teflon, all of which have good wear resistance, insulation, and self-lubricating properties. This effectively reduces the wear between the main lock tongue and the inner wall of the lock tongue box during repeated extension and retraction, extending the overall service life of the electronic door lock's automatic charging device. Furthermore, the aforementioned materials are lightweight and do not add extra burden to the movement of the main lock tongue, ensuring smooth opening and closing of the lock body and not affecting the normal user experience of the door lock.
[0013] Preferably, the area of the buffer guide plate is larger than the opening area of the slot. This design, where the area is larger than the slot opening, can prevent the buffer guide plate from extending beyond the slot and being scratched or damaged by the door, thus improving the overall integrity and aesthetics of the device and the door.
[0014] Preferably, a rectifier and voltage regulator module is externally connected to the latch box. The convex positive and negative contacts on the buffer guide plate are electrically connected to the rectifier and voltage regulator module to convert the voltage to the operating voltage range of the electronic door lock, thereby adapting to the charging needs of different door lock models. At the same time, it can avoid voltage fluctuations from impacting the built-in battery of the door lock, thus stabilizing the charging voltage and protecting the battery life.
[0015] Preferably, a power detection module is connected in series between the lock body and the battery. A wire is routed inside the lock body, exiting from the top and connecting in series with the power detection module to supply power to the electronic door lock's battery for charging. The battery level is confirmed by detecting the voltage. When the battery level is below a preset threshold, charging automatically starts; when it is above the threshold, charging automatically stops. When the power detection module determines that the battery level is below the preset threshold, it sends a conduction signal to the rectifier and voltage regulator module, connecting the charging circuit to replenish the battery. When the battery level reaches the preset full charge threshold, it immediately sends a disconnect signal to cut off the charging circuit. This achieves unmanned operation with automatic start and stop charging, eliminating the need for manual user control of the charging process and further improving the ease of use of the device.
[0016] A method for using an automatic charging device for an electronic door lock, the method comprising the following steps: S1: The rectifier and voltage regulator module is continuously connected to the mains power and is in a power-on standby state. The power detection module keeps working and monitoring in real time. The door leaf is in a free opening and closing state. At this time, the main lock tongue is in a retracted state and is completely separated from the contacts on the buffer guide plate. The charging circuit is physically disconnected. The door lock battery is not charging. The entire device enters the standby monitoring mode. S2: After the door is closed, the door lock drives the lock body to rotate, causing the main bolt to extend outward and insert into the bolt box; the contacts on the two sets of main bolts are respectively in contact with the positive and negative contacts on the buffer guide plate, so that the battery, rectifier and voltage regulator module and power detection module connected to the lock body form a complete and closed conductive circuit through the main bolt, the contacts on the buffer guide plate and the wires. S3: The power detection module collects and identifies the real-time operating voltage of the battery through the conductive circuit loop, and compares the preset charging threshold with the full charge threshold through the program; it automatically determines the battery power status and distinguishes between two working states: low voltage battery that needs charging and full charge battery that does not need charging, thus realizing intelligent identification and judgment. S4: If the power detection module detects that the battery voltage is lower than the preset charging threshold, the module automatically starts charging output and continuously charges the battery through the conduction circuit; if the battery voltage reaches the preset full charge threshold, the module immediately cuts off the charging output and stops the charging operation; no manual intervention is required throughout the process, and the circuit is switched on and off only by closing and locking the door to complete the fully automatic charging operation of the electronic door lock. After the door is opened, the lock tongue disengages from the contact, the circuit is disconnected, the charging operation ends, and the device returns to the standby state.
[0017] The advantages of this invention are: 1. This invention, after the main bolt is inserted into the bolt box slot, has its convex positive and negative contacts engaging with their corresponding concave contacts, automatically connecting the external power supply to the lock's built-in battery and initiating automatic charging. This solves the problems of cumbersome operation and complex maintenance associated with traditional charging methods, saving users time and effort. It also avoids the risk of users forgetting to charge the lock, leading to battery depletion and malfunction of the lock's electronic intelligent functions, ensuring the reliability and stability of the electronic lock's security functions, and thus guaranteeing the safety of the lock during use.
[0018] 2. The present invention not only effectively buffers the impact force generated during the locking process through the floating buffer conductive module, but also ensures stable contact between the contacts, preventing contact displacement or poor connection caused by frequent opening and closing of the door lock, thereby ensuring the reliability of the charging connection.
[0019] 3. This invention uses a power detection module to determine whether the battery needs charging based on voltage. When the power level is below a preset threshold, it sends a conduction signal to the rectifier and voltage regulator module to connect the charging circuit and recharge the battery. When the battery power reaches the preset full charge threshold, it immediately sends a disconnect signal to cut off the charging circuit. This achieves unmanned operation with automatic start and stop charging, eliminating the need for manual control of the charging process by the user, further improving the convenience of the device. It also provides overcharge protection to prevent damage to the battery.

[0034] A method for using an automatic charging device for an electronic door lock, the method comprising the following steps: S1: The rectifier and voltage regulator module is continuously connected to the mains power and is in a power-on standby state. The power detection module keeps working and monitoring in real time. The door is in a free opening and closing state. At this time, the main lock tongue 2 is in a retracted state and is completely separated from the contacts on the buffer guide plate 14. The charging circuit is physically disconnected. The door lock battery is not charging. The entire device enters the standby monitoring mode. S2: When the door is closed, the main lock tongue 2 inside the lock body 1 extends outward and inserts into the lock tongue box 5; the contacts on the two sets of main lock tongues 2 respectively contact the positive and negative contacts on the buffer guide plate 14, so that the battery, rectifier voltage regulator module and power detection module connected to the lock body 1 form a complete and closed conductive circuit through the main lock tongue 2, the contacts on the buffer guide plate 14 and the wire 6; S3: The power detection module collects and identifies the real-time operating voltage of the battery through the conductive circuit loop, and compares the preset charging threshold with the full charge threshold through the program; it automatically determines the battery power status and distinguishes between two working states: low voltage battery that needs charging and full charge battery that does not need charging, thus realizing intelligent identification and judgment.
[0035] Working principle: When the door lock is closed, the main bolt 2 extends into the slot 11 of the bolt box 5 along with the door lock locking action. The convex positive contact 10 and the concave positive contact 3, and the convex negative contact 12 and the concave negative contact 7 are connected and connected. An external power supply can be connected through the contact circuit to charge the door lock battery connected to the lock body 1. When the main latch 2 is in contact with the buffer guide plate 14, it compresses the buffer guide plate 14 and pushes it inward along the positioning post 15 into the latch box 5. Simultaneously, it compresses the spring 16, generating elastic force. The spring 16 ensures that the convex contacts on the surface of the buffer guide plate 14 are always flexibly in contact with the concave contacts on the surface of the main latch 2, preventing loose connections and improving the stability of the fit. Furthermore, the cooperation between the elliptical through hole 17 and the positioning post 15 allows the buffer guide plate 14 to undergo a certain range of adaptive displacement. If there is a slight misalignment, it can be corrected by the angled opening... The positioning groove 9 guides the extended main bolt 2 to its correct position, and together with the movable buffer guide plate 14, further improves the accuracy of the contact engagement. When the door lock is opened, the main bolt 2 exits the slot 11 and disconnects from the contacts on the buffer guide plate 14, automatically stopping the charging process and completing the charging replenishment without manual operation. Through the design of the T-shaped wear-resistant insulating component 8, it provides insulation when the main bolt 2 contacts the buffer guide plate 14, reducing wear during repeated insertion and removal of the main bolt 2 and extending the overall service life of the device.
[0036] This device utilizes the daily opening and closing action of the door lock to automatically connect the charging circuit when the door is closed and automatically disconnect it when the door is opened, achieving fully automatic charging and battery life for the electronic door lock. No manual operation by the user is required, which can effectively prevent the problem of the door lock battery running out of power and electronic functions failing due to the user forgetting to charge it, thus improving the convenience and reliability of using the electronic door lock.
[0037] Furthermore, as a preferred embodiment, the automatic charging device of this invention has broad adaptability. This device can be customized and upgraded for existing electronic door locks of different brands and models. Users do not need to replace the entire lock; they only need to replace the lock body, bolt box, and corresponding functional modules according to the original lock structure, and drill holes and thread wires in the corresponding locations to achieve a smooth integration of the intelligent automatic charging function. This solution not only solves the problem of universality but also significantly reduces the entry barrier and material costs for intelligent retrofitting.
