DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0024] The following will be combined with the drawings in the embodiments of the utility model to clearly and completely describe the technical solutions in the embodiments of the utility model. Obviously, the described embodiments are only part of the embodiments of the utility model, not all of the embodiments. Based on the embodiments of the utility model, all other embodiments obtained by ordinary technicians in this field without creative work are within the scope of protection of the utility model.
[0025] See also Figures 1 to 4 , Figure 1 is a cross-sectional schematic diagram of a single cell 100 provided in an embodiment of the utility model, Figure 2 1 is a schematic cross-sectional view of the shell 12 provided in an embodiment of the present utility model. Figure 3 1 is a cross-sectional schematic diagram of the housing 12, the second fixing colloid 40 and the pole 30 provided in an embodiment of the utility model. Figure 4 It is a cross-sectional schematic diagram of the shell body 12, the second fixing colloid 40, the pole 30 and the bare battery cell 20 provided in an embodiment of the utility model.
[0026] The present utility model embodiment provides a single battery 100, which includes a bare cell 20 and a battery shell 10, wherein the bare cell 20 includes an electrode assembly and an insulating film, wherein the insulating film wraps the electrode assembly, wherein the electrode assembly has a positive electrode and a negative electrode, wherein the electrode assembly may include a positive electrode sheet, a separator and a negative electrode sheet, wherein the positive electrode sheet, the separator and the negative electrode sheet are sequentially stacked to form an electrode assembly having a positive electrode and a negative electrode. The battery shell has a receiving cavity 123, wherein the bare cell 20 is received in the receiving cavity 123.
[0027] Specifically, the battery case 10 includes a shell body 12 and a shell cover 14. The shell body 12 is surrounded by a receiving cavity 123 and an opening 124 connected to the receiving cavity 123. The receiving cavity 123 is used to accommodate the bare battery cell 20. The shell body 12 is provided with a mounting hole 125, which is connected to the receiving cavity 123. The mounting hole 125 is used to assemble the pole 30. The pole 30 is connected to the bare battery cell 20 so as to be charged. The shell cover 14 is connected to the shell body 12 and covers the opening 124. The shell body 12 is an integral stamping structure, that is, the shell body 12 is formed into an initial shape at one time by a stamping process.
[0028] In this embodiment, the shell body 12 is provided with a mounting hole 125 for assembling the pole 30, that is, the shell body 12 is a port for introducing and extracting the electricity of the single battery 100. The shell body 12 can be made into a long and short shell body 12, and the shell body 12 can be formed by the preparation of the stamping process. Compared with the stretching forming process, the thickness of the material of the shell body 12 can be greatly reduced, so that the stamped shell body 12 does not need to occupy too much space. In addition, the stamped shell body 12 does not need annealing to eliminate stress, which reduces the damage to the appearance of the shell body 12; compared with the bending and matching welding process, the shell body 12 needs to be welded more times. Taking the square shell body 12 as an example, it needs to be welded twice, and the probability of leaking welding, cold welding, and blown welding is high, which affects the final qualified rate of the shell body 12. In addition, the precision requirements of the welding point are particularly high, which can easily lead to uneven height and uneven thickness, thereby uneven force, and the shell body 12 is disconnected from the welding point.
[0029] The material of the shell body 12 can be stainless steel. According to GB / T20878-2007, stainless steel (Stai nl ess Steel) is defined as steel with stainless and corrosion-resistant as the main characteristics, and the chromium content is at least 10.5%, and the carbon content does not exceed 1.2%. Stainless steel is the abbreviation of stainless acid-resistant steel. Steel that is resistant to weak corrosive media such as air, steam, water, or has stainless properties is called stainless steel; and steel that is resistant to corrosion by chemical corrosive media (acids, alkalis, salts, etc.) is called acid-resistant steel. The shell body 12 made of stainless steel can withstand stamping when it is thin. The thickness of the shell body 12 is D mm, 0.2≤D≤1.0, for example, 0.2, 0.5, 0.8, 1.0.
[0030] The battery housing 10 also includes a first fixed colloid 16, which is arranged at the connection between the shell cover 14 and the shell body 12 to bond the shell cover 14 to the shell body 12. The first fixed colloid 16 can be a heat-sealing glue, which is a plastic adhesive. Its physical state changes with temperature within a certain temperature range, while its chemical properties remain unchanged. It is non-toxic and tasteless and is an environmentally friendly chemical product. The first fixed colloid 16 can also be epoxy resin glue. Epoxy resin glue is an important thermosetting resin glue, especially because it has excellent physical and mechanical properties, electrical insulation properties, chemical corrosion resistance, heat resistance and bonding properties. The epoxy resin adhesive prepared with it is known as "all-purpose glue" and can be widely used in chemical, light industry, water conservancy, transportation, machinery, electronics, home appliances, automobiles, aerospace and other industrial fields. The sealing method of combining the first fixed colloid 16 with the traditional mold seal can reduce the production difficulty and increase the final qualified rate of the product under the premise of ensuring the sealing performance.
[0031] Of course, the shell cover 14 and the shell body 12 can also be connected together by welding, but compared with the bonding method, the first fixing colloid 16 requires a very high temperature to melt and cool the fixed shell cover 14 and the shell body 12, and the first fixing colloid 16 has a strong sealing property and can completely block the gap between the shell cover 14 and the shell body 12.
[0032] The shell cover 14 includes a covering portion 141 and an overlapping portion 142. The overlapping portion 142 is connected to the covering portion 141 and is bent and extended toward the shell body 12. At this time, the cross-section of the shell cover 14 forms a U-shaped structure. The covering portion 141 covers the opening 124, and the overlapping portion 142 is connected to the peripheral side wall 121 of the shell body 12. The overlapping portion 142 and the shell body 12 are in surface contact, and the contact area between the shell cover 14 and the shell body 12 is improved. In this embodiment, by bending the shell cover 14, the shell cover 14 and the shell body 12 are in surface contact, and the contact area between the two is increased. In this way, whether the shell cover 14 and the shell body 12 are bonded or welded, the fault tolerance rate can be improved, and the stability and sealing of the connection between the shell cover 14 and the shell body 12 can be ensured.
[0033] Furthermore, the overlapped portion 142 is in contact with the outer surface of the peripheral side wall 121, and the junction of the shell cover 14 and the shell body 12 is facing downward, the covering portion 141 is connected to the edge of the opening 124 formed by the shell body 12, and the top surface of the opening 124 supports the shell cover 14. This connection method ensures that the shell cover 14 covers the opening 124 of the shell body 12, avoiding the problem of water ingress caused by the junction of the shell cover 14 and the shell body 12 facing upward. In addition, the shell body 12 can also play a certain role in supporting and positioning the shell cover 14, which is convenient for the subsequent connection of the shell cover 14 and the shell body 12.
[0034] The shell body 12 includes a peripheral side wall 121 and a bottom wall 122. The peripheral side wall 121 is arranged to form an opening 124. The bottom wall 122 is connected to one end of the peripheral side wall 121 away from the opening 124. The bottom wall 122 and the peripheral side wall 121 are arranged to form a receiving cavity 123. The height L1 of the peripheral side wall 121 is less than the length L2 of the bottom wall 122, so as to facilitate the stamping of the shell body 12. At this time, the battery shell 10 composed of the shell body 12 and the shell cover 14 is in the shape of an elongated strip. The peripheral side wall 121 is provided with a mounting hole 125. The pole 30 of the single battery 100 is also placed along the length direction of the bottom wall 122. The mounting hole 125 can be arranged on the peripheral side wall 121 along the length direction of the bottom wall 122, so that the pole 30 can be installed in the length direction of the shell body 12 to avoid the shell body 12 being made thicker. Of course, the mounting hole 125 can also be arranged on the peripheral side wall 121 along the width direction of the bottom wall 122.
[0035] Specifically, the height of the side wall 121 is L1, the length of the bottom wall 122 is L2, 2L1≤L2≤5L1, that is, the length of the bottom wall 122 is between 2 times and 5 times the height of the side wall 121. The shell body 12 has the highest stability within this range and will not be deformed due to the thin wall thickness of the shell body 12.
[0036] The single cell 100 also includes a pole 30 and a second fixing colloid 40. The pole 30 is inserted through the mounting hole 125 and electrically connected to one pole of the bare cell 20, which can be the positive pole or the negative pole of the bare cell 20. The other pole of the bare cell 20 is electrically connected to the shell 12, which can be the other pole of the positive pole and the negative pole of the bare cell 20. The shell 12 itself is charged. The second fixing colloid 40 is arranged at the connection between the pole 30 and the shell 12 to bond the pole 30 to the shell 12. The second fixing colloid 40 can be a heat-sealing glue, or the second fixing colloid 40 can also be epoxy resin glue. In addition to fixing the pole 30 to the shell 12, the second fixing colloid 40 also insulates the pole 30 from the shell 12.
[0037] In another embodiment, the number of poles 30 is two, and two mounting holes 125 are opened on the shell body 12. The two mounting holes 125 are located on the peripheral side wall 121 along the length direction of the bottom wall 122. The two poles 30 are respectively assembled in the mounting holes 125, and the positive and negative poles of the bare battery cell 20 are electrically connected to the two poles 30 respectively.
[0038] See also Figures 2 to 5 , Figure 5 It is a flow chart of the manufacturing method provided by the embodiment of the utility model.
[0039] S101: stamping and forming a shell body 12 as described above.
[0040] The sheet material for making the shell body 12 is placed on a stamping machine, and the shell body 12 is formed in one go by cold stamping. The material of the sheet material can be aluminum or steel. Stamping refers to a processing and forming method in which a press and a mold apply external force to sheets, strips, pipes and profiles to cause plastic deformation or separation, thereby obtaining a workpiece (stamping part) of the desired shape and size. The stamping blanks are mainly hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel plates and strips. 60-70% of the steel in the world is sheet material, most of which is stamped into finished products. The car body, chassis, fuel tank, radiator fins, boiler drum, container shell, motor, electrical appliance iron core silicon steel sheet, etc. are all stamped. There are also a large number of stamping parts in products such as instruments and meters, household appliances, bicycles, office machinery, and daily utensils.
[0041] The shell body 12 is surrounded by a receiving cavity 123 and an opening 124 connected to the receiving cavity 123. The receiving cavity 123 is used to accommodate the bare battery cell 20. The shell body 12 is punched to form a mounting hole 125. The mounting hole 125 is connected to the receiving cavity 123. The mounting hole 125 is used to assemble the pole 30. The pole 30 is connected to the bare battery cell 20 so as to be charged.
[0042] The shell body 12 includes a peripheral side wall 121 and a bottom wall 122. The peripheral side wall 121 is arranged to form an opening 124. The bottom wall 122 is connected to one end of the peripheral side wall 121 away from the opening 124. The bottom wall 122 and the peripheral side wall 121 are arranged to form a receiving cavity 123. The height L1 of the peripheral side wall 121 is less than the length L2 of the bottom wall 122 to facilitate the stamping of the shell body 12. At this time, the battery shell 10 composed of the shell body 12 and the shell cover 14 is in the shape of an elongated strip. Along the length direction of the bottom wall 122, the peripheral side wall 121 is provided with a mounting hole 125, and the pole 30 of the single battery 100 is also placed along the length direction of the bottom wall 122.
[0043] Specifically, the height of the side wall 121 is L1, the length of the bottom wall 122 is L2, 2L1≤L2≤5L1, that is, the length of the bottom wall 122 is between 2 times and 5 times the height of the side wall 121. The shell body 12 has the highest stability within this range and will not be deformed due to the thin wall thickness of the shell body 12.
[0044] S102: Stamping and forming the shell cover 14 as any one of the above items.
[0045] The sheet material for making the shell cover 14 is placed on a punching machine, and the shell cover 14 is formed in one step by cold punching. The sheet material can be aluminum or steel. The shell cover 14 includes a covering portion 141 and a lap portion 142. The lap portion 142 is connected to the covering portion 141 and is bent and extended toward the shell body 12. At this time, the cross section of the shell cover 14 forms a U-shaped structure.
[0046] Specifically, the covering portion 141 covers the opening 124, the overlapping portion 142 is connected to the peripheral side wall 121 of the shell body 12, and the overlapping portion 142 and the shell body 12 are in surface-to-surface contact, thereby increasing the contact area between the shell cover 14 and the shell body 12. In this embodiment, the shell cover 14 is bent so that the shell cover 14 and the shell body 12 are in surface-to-surface contact, thereby increasing the contact area between the two. In this way, whether the shell cover 14 and the shell body 12 are bonded or welded, the fault tolerance rate can be improved, thereby ensuring the stability and sealing of the connection between the shell cover 14 and the shell body 12.
[0047] Furthermore, the overlapped portion 142 is in contact with the outer surface of the peripheral side wall 121, and the junction of the shell cover 14 and the shell body 12 is facing downward, and the covering portion 141 is connected to the top surface of the opening 124, and the top surface of the opening 124 supports the shell cover 14. This connection method ensures that the shell cover 14 covers the opening 124 of the shell body 12, and avoids the problem of water ingress caused by the junction of the shell cover 14 and the shell body 12 facing upward. In addition, the shell body 12 can also play a certain role in supporting and positioning the shell cover 14, which is convenient for the subsequent connection of the shell cover 14 and the shell body 12.
[0048] S103: Assemble the bare battery cell 20 in the shell body 12 and cover the shell cover 14.
[0049] After the bare cell 20 is placed in the shell body 12, the shell cover 14 is covered, and the shell cover 14 is connected to the shell body 12 and covers the opening 124. The battery shell 10 also includes a first fixing colloid 16, which is arranged at the connection between the shell cover 14 and the shell body 12 to adhere the shell cover 14 to the shell body 12.
[0050] See also Figures 2 to 4 ,as well as Figure 6 , Figure 6 It is another flow chart of the manufacturing method provided by the embodiment of the utility model.
[0051] S201: stamping and forming a shell body 12 as described above.
[0052] S202: Stamping and forming a shell cover 14 as described above.
[0053] S203: Assemble the bare battery cell 20 in the shell body 12.
[0054] S204: coating the second fixing colloid 40 on the pole 30.
[0055] S205: The pole 30 is penetrated with the mounting hole 125, and the pole 30 and the shell body 12 are bonded together.
[0056] S206: electrically connecting one pole of the bare battery cell 20 to the pole 30, and electrically connecting the other pole of the bare battery cell 20 to the shell body 12.
[0057] The difference between this embodiment and the previous embodiment is that the above-mentioned step S103 is refined into S203, S204, S205, and S206. The single battery 100 also includes a pole 30 and a second fixed colloid 40. The pole 30 is inserted into the mounting hole 125 and electrically connected to one pole of the bare battery cell 20, which can be the positive pole or the negative pole of the bare battery cell 20. The other pole of the bare battery cell 20 is electrically connected to the shell body 12, which can be the other pole of the positive pole and the negative pole of the bare battery cell 20. The shell body 12 itself is charged. The second fixed colloid 40 is arranged at the connection between the pole 30 and the shell body 12 to bond the pole 30 to the shell body 12. The second fixed colloid 40 can be a heat-sealing glue, or the second fixed colloid 40 can be epoxy resin glue. In addition to fixing the pole 30 to the shell body 12, the second fixed colloid 40 also insulates and separates the pole 30 from the shell body 12.
[0058] In another embodiment, the number of poles 30 is two, and two mounting holes 125 are opened on the shell body 12.
