A rotary discharge valve

Abstract

A rotary discharge valve includes a housing, a sealing cover, and an impeller. The impeller is housed within the housing, with both ends of the impeller's shaft extending out of the housing. The sealing cover seals the area where the impeller protrudes. A lip seal is provided on the side of the housing facing the inner cavity, abutting against the impeller and the inner wall of the housing. An air chamber is also provided within the sealing cover to create airflow in the area between the impeller and the sealed cover. This invention prevents powder from entering the sealing cover, reducing the likelihood of powder affecting the normal rotation of the shaft.
