Abstract

This utility model relates to the field of home appliance technology, and discloses a fan base and a fan. The fan base includes a chassis with a cable inlet; a bottom cover that fastens to the chassis; and a power cord limiting structure, including limiting ribs on the chassis with cable outlet holes. The limiting ribs enclose a limiting space to limit the power cord. The power cord limiting structure also includes pressing ribs. When the bottom cover and chassis are fastened together, the pressing ribs bend and press the power cord into the limiting space, and constrain the power cord in the direction of the line connecting the cable inlet and outlet holes. When the base and bottom cover are fastened together, the pressing ribs and limiting ribs form a three-dimensional limiting space that constrains and restricts the power cord in multiple dimensions. This not only effectively controls the power cord's movement but also effectively prevents the power cord from being pushed into the base in the up, down, left, or right directions, meeting the mandatory safety requirements for power cord resistance to being pushed in.
