Abstract

The application provides a battery and a power system, and relates to the technical field of batteries. The battery comprises a battery cell and a box body, the battery cell is installed to the box body, the battery cell is provided with a first explosion-proof valve, and the box body comprises a first bottom plate, a second bottom plate and a second explosion-proof valve. The first bottom plate is provided with a smoke inlet, and the setting position of the smoke inlet corresponds to the setting position of the first explosion-proof valve. The second bottom plate is arranged on the side, away from the battery cell, of the first bottom plate, and the second bottom plate is arranged in a spaced mode with the first bottom plate. The second bottom plate and the first bottom plate cooperate to form a smoke exhaust area, and the smoke exhaust area is in communication with the smoke inlet. The second explosion-proof valve is arranged on the first bottom plate or the second bottom plate, and the second explosion-proof valve is used for exhausting the gas in the smoke exhaust area when the internal pressure value of the smoke exhaust area reaches a first preset pressure value. According to the battery provided in the application, when the battery cell is in thermal runaway, the smoke generated in the battery cell can be exhausted to the outside of the battery, the possibility that the fault in the battery is further expanded due to the smoke gathering in the battery is reduced, and the use safety of the battery is ensured.
