An integrated LED light source with a socket and a built-in real-time clock

Abstract

The integrated LED light source with a socket and a built-in real-time clock has the form of a lightbulb defining the volume (1) and provided with a socket. Inside the volume (1) it contains at least one string of light diodes (9) with exciters (8) for the continuous control of the current flowing through the individual strings of light diodes (9) for their dimming / brightening or for switching the selected light diodes (9) on / off; a microcontroller (6) with an internal or external memory (3) with time schedule (4) of lighting, with an internal or external real-time clock (2) provided with a supercapacitor (10) to ensure its operation at the time of disconnecting the light source from the power supply and with a control programme (7) to calculate the output values and set the exciters (8) of light diodes (9) to the required levels of the current depending on the time schedule (4) and current time; and a communication interface (5) to externally set the time schedule (4) and the real-time clock (2).
