Abstract
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a drive device for a movable furniture part, with a latchable ejection device, by means of which the movable furniture part can be ejected from a closed position by means of a force accumulator in the opening direction, wherein the ejection device can be unlocked by overpressing the movable furniture part from the latched closed position in the closing direction, and an overpress protection is provided which prevents the ejection device from being unlocked during a closing process and during a movement of the movable furniture part beyond the closed position into the overpress position, wherein the ejection device can be unlocked via a control element which can be moved with the movable furniture part from a closed position into the overpress position, and a method for opening and closing a movable furniture part.
[0002] WO 2014 / 165877 A1 discloses a drive device for a movable furniture part, in which a pivotable ejection lever is provided for ejecting the movable furniture part, which can be locked in a closed position. For unlocking, the movable furniture part can be moved into an over-pressing position, in order to then eject the furniture part in the opening direction via the ejection lever and a force accumulator. If, during a closing process, the movable furniture part is moved beyond the closed position into the over-pressing position, a blocking element is provided which prevents the ejection device from being unlocked when the over-pressing position is reached. This prevents the movable furniture part from being accidentally ejected again if the closing speed is too high. The blocking element can be moved from a blocking position to a release position with a time delay via a reset device. This prevents the movable furniture part from opening immediately after a closing operation. The time delay is achieved by switching the locking element after the closing operation. This can result in an undesirably long delay before the next opening operation can be carried out. Furthermore, the locking element is subjected to mechanical stress during an opening attempt.
[0003] It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a drive device for a movable furniture part and a method for opening and closing a movable furniture part, with which a reliable overpressure protection can be obtained using simple mechanical means.
[0004] This object is achieved with a drive device having the features of claim 1 and a method for opening and closing a movable furniture part having the features of claim 11.
[0005] In the drive device according to the invention, overpressure protection is ensured by a locking element which, in a first position, blocks movement of the control element into the actuating position and, in a second position, allows the control element access to an actuating position from which the control element can unlock the ejection device. As a result, during continuous movement of the movable furniture part in the closing direction into the closed position and beyond the closed position into the overpressure position, the locking element for overpressure protection can block the control element and only allow access to the actuating position when unlocking is required again. The locking element thus blocks the control element on its way to the actuating position, so that the time until the next unlocking process can be adjusted as required. It is not necessary to use a blocking element that only prevents unlocking after the locking position has been reached. Instead, the locking element is already effective when the movable furniture part is in an overpressure position or on its way from the overpressure position to the closed position. The locking element is not subjected to forces from the movable furniture part, but only to forces from the control element, which is preloaded directly or indirectly into the actuating position via a spring.
[0006] To unlock the ejection device, the movable furniture part can preferably be moved together with the control element in the closing direction, whereby a slide connected to a part of the locking receptacle is also moved. This allows the locking receptacle to be moved into a release position.
[0007] The ejection device preferably comprises a housing on which a guide track for the control element is formed. A pin can then be formed on the control element, which engages in the guide track, whereby the locking element can block the pin and thus the control element from moving into the actuating position.
[0008] For easy unlocking of the ejection device, the control element can be arranged in the actuating position adjacent to a slide, which can be displaced against the force of a spring upon unlocking by the control element. The slide can be stepped adjacent to the control element and form a receptacle for a pin of the control element, in particular an angled receptacle. When the control element is arranged with the pin in the receptacle, it is in an actuating position in which unlocking can be initiated.
[0009] Preferably, the locking element is movably mounted on the slide. Alternatively, it is also possible to movably mount the locking element on a housing of the ejection device. The locking element can be arranged displaceably or pivotably on the slide or the housing.
[0010] In a further embodiment, the release element comprises a damper that slows the movement of the locking element from the first to the second position. The damper can be designed as a linear damper that is preloaded into the starting position by a spring. Alternatively, the damper is designed as a rotary damper that is mechanically coupled to the locking element. Alternatively, another mechanical timing element can be provided for the delayed movement of the locking element. Simple mechanical timing elements are, for example, suction cups with a small hole that release contact with a surface due to the inflowing air, or an elastomer with a slowed return movement.
[0011] The tensioning process for the energy storage device of the ejection device occurs during a closing movement of the movable furniture part, preferably at a distance from the self-closing position, for example, at least 25 mm from the self-closing position in a range between 100 mm and 40 mm before the closing position. It is also possible for the self-closing mechanism to tension part of the spring energy of the ejection device, so that the ejection device only locks in place when the self-closing mechanism is in its effective range.
[0012] In order to space a clamping area of the ejection device apart from an ejection area of the ejection device, a first pin can be provided on the control element, which is guided in a guide track on a housing, and a second pin can be provided on the driver, which can be brought into engagement with the activator. This allows the driver to be moved relative to the control element, with the control element being arranged in a different position relative to the driver during an ejection movement than during a closing movement.
[0013] In a further embodiment, it is also possible to combine the self-feeder and the ejection device in one device, so that a common unit is created.
[0014] In the method according to the invention, a movable furniture part is ejected after an ejection device has been unlocked. The movable furniture part is then moved in the closing direction to tension an energy accumulator, whereby a control element coupled to the driver is moved along a guide track. The control element is placed on a locking receptacle on the guide track and / or a locking element, whereby the locking element is then moved into a release position in order to move the control element further along the locking receptacle or the locking element into an actuating position in which the control element can unlock the ejection device. The movement of the locking element can be braked by a damper in order to be able to adjust the period of time after which the movable furniture part is released for unlocking again.
[0015] The invention is explained in more detail below using two exemplary embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawings. They show: Fig. 1 is a perspective exploded view of a piece of furniture with a drive device according to the invention; Fig. 2 a perspective view of a drawer with two drive devices; Fig. 3 a perspective view of a drive device according to the invention; Fig. 4A and Fig. 4B two exploded views of the drive device of the Fig. 3; Fig. 5A and Fig. 5B two views of the drive device of the Fig. 3 in a closed position; Fig. 6A and Fig. 6B two views of the drive device of the Fig. 3 in an overpressure position; Fig. 7A and Fig. 7B two views of the drive device of the Fig. 3 at the beginning of an opening process; Fig. 8A and Fig. 8B two views of the drive device of the Fig. 3 when unlocking the slider; Fig. 9A and Fig. 9B two views of the drive device of the Fig. 3 during the clamping process of the ejection device; Fig. 10A and Fig. 10B two views of the drive device of the Fig. 3 in an overpressure position; Fig. 11A and Fig. 11B two views of the drive device of the Fig. 3 when the locking element is moved into a release position; Fig. 12A and Fig. 12B shows two exploded views of a second embodiment of an ejection device for a drive device according to the invention; Fig. 13A and Fig. 13B two views of the drive device of the Fig. 12 in the closed position, Fig. 14A and Fig. 14B two views of the drive device of the Fig. 12 in an overpressure position; Fig. 15A and Fig. 15B two views of the drive device of the Fig. 12 at the beginning of an opening process; Fig. 16A and Fig. 16B two views of the drive device of the Fig. 12 when unlocking the slider; Fig. 17A and Fig. 17B two views of the drive device of the Fig. 12 during the clamping process of the ejection device; Fig. 18A and Fig. 18B two views of the drive device of the Fig. 12 in an overpressure position; Fig. 19A and Fig. 19B two views of the drive device of the Fig. 12 when the locking element is moved into a release position; Fig. 20 a path-time diagram of a normal closing movement; and Fig. 21 a path-time diagram of a closing movement with overpressure of the movable furniture part.
[0016] A piece of furniture 1 comprises a Fig. 1 schematically illustrated carcass 2, on which one or more drawers can be movably mounted as movable furniture parts 3. Each drawer is guided on opposite sides via a pull-out guide 5, wherein the pull-out guide 5 is fixed to a side wall of the carcass 2 via a retaining bracket 9 and the drawer 3 is fixed to a movable runner rail of the pull-out guide 5. In a closed position, a front panel 4 of the drawer is located at a short distance from the carcass 2, for example between 1 mm and 6 mm, in order to be pressed slightly further into the carcass 2 from this closed position into an over-press position in order to unlock an ejection device 6.
[0017] As in Fig. 2, two ejection devices 6 are located on the underside of a base of the drawer, which can be coupled, at least in a closing area, to an activator 7 which is fixedly connected directly or indirectly to the carcass 2. Each ejection device 6 can thus be supported on the activator 7 in order to eject the drawer as the movable furniture part 3. The pull-out guides 5 are each arranged in a side frame 8 of the drawer. It is of course also possible to arrange the ejection device 6 stationary on the carcass 2 and the activator 7 on the drawer. In addition, the number and arrangement of the ejection devices 6 and activators 7 on the movable furniture part 3 or on the carcass 2 can be varied. It is also possible for the ejection device 6 to be arranged on the carcass rail or the carcass rail holder of a pull-out guide and for the activator to be arranged on the drawer rail. Here, a wide variety of arrangement combinations of ejection device 6 and activator 7 are known in the prior art, wherein the activator 7 can also be formed directly by a movable furniture part or a stationary part, so that the function of the activator does not require a separate component.
[0018] Each drawer guide 5 can be coupled to a self-closing mechanism, which pulls a movable guide rail of the drawer guide 5 in a closing direction within a retraction area and optionally brakes it using a damper. A drawer guide 5 with a self-closing mechanism is disclosed, for example, in documents DE 10 2011 053 840 A1 or DE 10 2011 054 441 A1, to which reference is made.
[0019] In Fig. 3 shows the ejection device 6, which is arranged in a housing 10. A guide 11 in the form of a web is provided on a longitudinal edge of the housing 10, on which a driver 12 is movably mounted. A cover 14 is arranged on the housing 10. The driver 12 is connected to a coupling element 13, which forms a contact surface for the activator 7. Since the coupling element 13 has a magnet 24, both tensile and compressive forces can be transmitted between the driver 12 and the activator 7. For positioning the movable furniture part 3 in the depth direction, an adjustment mechanism 15 is provided, by means of which the position of the coupling element 13 relative to the driver 12 can be adjusted. The coupling element 13 can alternatively also be designed as a gripper controlled in a guide or another mechanically releasable coupling.
[0020] As in the Fig. 4A and Fig. 4B, a carriage 30 is located within the housing 10, which is mounted in a receptacle 20 so as to be displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the housing 10. A holder 21 is located on one end of the receptacle 20 of the housing 10, in order to secure one end of a force accumulator in the form of at least one spring 22, in particular a tension spring. Two springs 22 are provided, each of which is arranged in a spring receptacle 31 on the carriage 30. An opposite end of the spring 22 is fixed to a spring holder 32 on the carriage 30, so that the carriage 30 is pretensioned in the opening direction on the housing 10. The number of springs 22 can be selected depending on the intended use of the drive device.
[0021] Furthermore, a receptacle 33 for guiding a control element 40 is provided on the slide 30. Side walls 38 are arranged on the receptacle 33, which guide the control element 40 essentially perpendicular to the opening direction. The control element 40 is plate-shaped and has protruding sliding elements 44 that rest against the side walls 38 of the receptacle 33.
[0022] The control element 40 comprises a first pin 41, which is guided in a guide track 17 on the housing 10. A second pin 42 is also provided on the control element 40, which is guided on the driver 12. For this purpose, a groove-shaped track 16 is formed on the driver 12 to guide the pin 42.
[0023] Furthermore, a curved guide 34 is provided on the carriage 30, by means of which a gear 36 is guided. The gear 36 engages with a locking projection 35 in the curved guide 34 and is part of a backstop. A toothed rack 19 is formed on the housing 10. The gear 36 is guided by a pin in a loop-shaped guide track 18 of the housing 10, with a section of the guide track 18 running past the toothed rack 19 in the tensioning direction, while a section for an opening movement guides the gear 36 at a distance from the toothed rack 19. If a tensioning process of the ejection device 6 is aborted, the gear 36 engages the toothed rack 19 and thus prevents ejection of the movable furniture part. Such a backstop is described, for example, in DE 10 2016 107 918. For the present ejection device, such a backstop is advantageous, but can optionally be omitted.
[0024] Furthermore, a slide 50 is provided on the housing 10, which is slidably held in a slide receptacle 26 on the housing 10. For this purpose, a box-shaped section 55 engages in the slide receptacle 26, while a web 56 is received at an end section 27 of the housing 10. The slide 50 is preloaded into an initial position by a spring 68. The spring 68 is deposited in a spring receptacle 69 on the slide 50 ( Fig. 4B), wherein the spring 68 rests on one end face of the slide 50 and on the opposite side on a wall of the housing 10. The spring 68 is designed as a compression spring and thus biases the slide 50 in the opening direction.
[0025] A guide track 17 for the first pin 41 of the control element 40 is formed on the housing 10. The guide track 17 is loop-shaped.
[0026] Furthermore, in the Fig. 4A and Fig. 4B shows a locking element 64 which is pivotally mounted on the housing 10 on the guide track 17 adjacent to the locking receptacle. The locking element 64 is coupled to a damper 60 which has a cylinder 61 and a piston rod 62 which can be inserted into the cylinder 61 to generate damping forces. The damper 60 is preloaded in an initial position with the piston rod 62 extended, with a spring 63 wound around the piston rod 62 for this purpose, which is supported on one side on the cylinder 61 and on the opposite side on the locking element 64. The spring can alternatively be integrated into the cylinder 61 or act on the locking element 64 as a separate spring element.
[0027] Furthermore, a locking projection 25 is formed on the housing 10 in the region of the guide track 17, which interacts with the locking lug 54 on the slide 50 in order to be able to lock the slide 50 in an unlocking or release position for the control element 40.
[0028] The operation of the ejection device 6 is described below with reference to the Fig. 5 to 11, these figures each showing two sectional views through the ejection device 6, which are partially arranged in different planes in order to be able to better follow the position of the pins 41 and 42 in the area of the driver 12 and the guide track 17.
[0029] In the Fig. 5A and Fig. 5B, the ejection device 6 is in a closed position. In the closed position, the pin 41 of the control element 40 is located in the locking receptacle formed by the locking element 64 and the receptacle 52 on the pressure piece 51 of the slide 50. The two-part locking receptacle is in the closed position, and the ejection device 6 is locked via the pin 41 and the locking receptacle against the force of the springs 22. The second pin 42 of the control element is located at an angled end of the track 16 on the driver 12.
[0030] If the ejection device 6 is to be unlocked, the movable furniture part 3 or the drawer is moved from the closed position into an overpressure position, as shown in the Fig. 6A and Fig. 6B. The control element 40 is pressed in against the force of the springs 22 held on the carriage 30, with the movable furniture part acting on the control element 40 via the driver 12 and the pin 42. By pressing in the movable furniture part, the first pin 41 presses against the pressure piece 51 of the slide 50, which is moved relative to the housing 10 against the force of the spring 68. The movement of the slide 50 displaces a part of the locking receptacle relative to the locking element 64.
[0031] For an opening movement, the pin 41 can now pass through the gap between the locking element 64 and the pressure piece 51, as shown in the Fig. 7A and Fig. 7B. The driver 12 is coupled to the control element 40 in the extension direction via the second pin 42, so that the movable furniture part is ejected by the driver 12. The slide 50 is pushed back in the opening direction by the spring 68 until the locking lug 54 rests against the locking projection 25 of the housing 10. By locking the slide 50, the pressure piece 51 and thus the locking receptacle remain in a release position. The distance between the two parts of the locking receptacle is large enough for the pin 41 to pass between them.
[0032] Due to the springs 22, the carriage 30 with the control element 40, and thereby also the driver 12 with the movable furniture part, is moved further in the opening direction until the Fig. 8A and Fig. 8B is reached. The first pin 41 on the control element 40 runs against a bevel 57 on the web 53 and thus releases the locking lug 54 from the locking projection 25. As a result, the slide 50 can be moved further in the opening direction by the force of the spring 68 in order to close the locking receptacle.
[0033] The movable furniture part 3 is now moved further in the opening direction until the first pin 41 hits a bevel 45 of the guide track 17, in order to move the control element 40 on the carriage 30. As a result, the second pin 42 moves out of the angled end section of the track 16 and can thus be moved along the central section of the track 16, which is oriented at a slight incline to the closing and opening direction, in order to move the driver 12 further along the guide 11 on the housing. The second pin 42 is moved to the angled end section of the track 16, and the first pin 41 is located at a pointed end of the guide track 17.
[0034] To return the movable furniture part to a closed position, the activator 7 is moved against the driver 12, which is coupled to the control element 40 via the second pin 42. The control element 40 thus moves together with the carriage 30 in the closing direction, thereby tensioning the springs 22. When the spring 22 is tensioned, the backstop is also activated by the gear 36, which is moved along the rack 19 on the housing. If the tensioning process is interrupted, the gear 36 of the backstop secures the previously tensioned position of the carriage 30.
[0035] If the movable furniture part is moved in the closing direction, the control element 40 moves in Fig. 9 on the left side of the guide track 17, up to an angled end at which the locking element 64 is arranged. By moving the pin 41 to the right onto the locking element 64, the second pin 42 moves from the angled end section of the track 16 on the driver 12. As a result, the driver 12 is decoupled from the control element 40 and can now be moved further in the closing direction by a self-retraction. The track 16 has an inclination to the opening and closing direction, so that the pins 41 and 42 are slowly moved to the right during a closing movement of the driver 12 until the pin 42 reaches the angled end section of the track 16. By moving the pin 42 to the right, the pin 41 is also moved to the right, so that the pin 41 is positioned between the locking element 64 and the receptacle 52 on the pressure piece 52, as shown in the Fig. 5A and Fig. 5B. Upon reaching the closed position, the driver 12 has thus reached its end position and, essentially at the same time, the pin 41 is in an actuating position in which the ejection device 6 can be unlocked upon renewed pressing of the movable furniture part 3.
[0036] In Fig. 10 shows a position in which the movable furniture part 3 was manually moved during the closing movement beyond the closed position into the over-pressing position, or the movable furniture part 3 was moved at high closing speed and thus also reached the over-pressing position. The pin 41 on the control element 40 is therefore located at a distance from the locking element 64 within an end section on the guide track 17. If the movable furniture part 3 is now released, the energy accumulator with the springs 22 presses the slide 30 and thus also the control element 40 in the opening direction until the pin 41 strikes the locking element 64. The locking element 64 is now pivoted against the force of the damper 60, so that the pin 41 reaches the stepped receptacle 52 on the pressure piece 51, i.e., into the actuating position in which unlocking of the ejection device is possible. At the same time, the pin 42 reaches the angled end section of the track 16 and thus locks the control element 40 with the driver 12. Upon reaching the closed position, the ejection device 6 can thus be immediately unlocked again.
[0037] In the Fig. Figures 12 to 19 show a second embodiment of an ejection device 6, wherein the same components are provided with the same reference numerals. The second embodiment differs essentially by a modified locking element 80 and its coupling to a damper 88, so that essentially only the differences from the previous embodiment will be described.
[0038] A locking element 80 comprises a web 81 on which a projection 82 is formed for engagement with a control lever 86. Furthermore, the locking element 80 features a toothing 83 for engagement with a gear 89, which is non-rotatably coupled to a damper 88 in the form of a rotary damper. The locking element 80 is biased in the closing direction via a holder 84 and a spring 85.
[0039] In the Fig. 13A and Fig. In the closed position shown in Figure 13B, the pin 41 is located on a locking receptacle having a fixed part 23 that is fixedly arranged on the housing 10, preferably formed integrally with the housing 10. A second part of the locking receptacle is formed on a slide 50, which has a receptacle 52 on a pressure piece 51. The pin 41 on the control element 40 is preloaded in the opening direction via the slide 30 and the energy accumulator.
[0040] If the ejection device 6 is to be unlocked, the movable furniture part with the driver 12 and the control element 40 is moved into an overpressure position, whereby the pin 41 moves the slide 50 in the closing direction, as shown in Fig. 14. This creates a gap between the first part 23 of the locking receptacle and the pressure piece 51, which is sufficient for the pin 41 to be moved along the guide track 17 in the opening direction.
[0041] In Fig. 15, the pressure piece 51 on the slide 50 is shown in a locking position, wherein the driver 12 is moved with the control element 40 in the opening direction.
[0042] In Fig. 16, the slide 50 is unlocked from a release position by moving the pin 41 along the ramp 57 on the web 53. As a result, the slide 50 is moved in the closing direction by the force of the spring 68, so that the pressure piece 51 is closed again together with the first part 23 of the locking receptacle.
[0043] In Fig. 17A and Fig. 17B, the movable furniture part with the driver 12 is moved again in the closing direction until the energy accumulator is tensioned with the springs 22 and the pin 41 on the angled part of the guide track 17 is moved to the right, whereby the second pin 42 is pulled out of the angled end section of the track 16 in order to unlock a coupling between the control element 40 and the driver 12.
[0044] The locking element 80 with the web 81 is arranged on the locking receptacle 23 and prevents the pin 41 from entering the receptacle 52 on the pressure piece 51. The locking element 80 is essentially linearly movable, wherein the movement of the locking element 80 can be controlled via a control lever 86 which is pivotally mounted about an axis 87. The control lever 86 interacts with a curved guide 75 on the driver 12, which has a recess. If the driver 12 is moved in the closing direction, the control lever 86 pivots before reaching the closed position and thus moves the locking element 80 with the web 81 to the first part 23 of the locking receptacle, so that the pin 41 is prevented from entering the receptacle 52 on the other side of the web 81.The driver 12 is now moved further in the closing direction until the receptacle of the curved guide 75 reaches the area of the control lever 86 and releases the control lever 86, which is then pulled upward by the control element 80 due to the force of a spring 85. The spring 85 is fixed at one end to a holder 84 of the locking element 80 and at the opposite end to the housing 10. Furthermore, the control element 80 is coupled via a toothing 83 to a gear 89 of the damper 88, so that braking forces are generated when the locking element 80 is moved in the housing 10. The spring 85 can also be attached at any other position to fulfill its function.
[0045] In Fig. 18, the ejection device 6 is shown in an overpressure position, in which the pin 41 is located in an end section of the guide track 17. If the movable furniture part is now released, the energy storage device pulls the carriage 30 and thus also the control element 40 in the opening direction, and the pin 41 moves against the obliquely arranged first part 23 of the locking receptacle. The driver 12 is also moved in the opening direction, so that the control lever 86 is released through the recess in the curved guide 75, and the locking element 80 can be moved away from the first part 23 of the locking receptacle by the force of the spring 85. As a result, the pin 41 can move into the receptacle 52 on the pressure piece 51, and the pin 42 moves into the angled end section on the track 16 and is therefore locked to the driver 12. This process is shown in Fig. 19. The closing position is then reached, which is shown in Fig. 13 is already shown.
[0046] In Fig. Figure 20 shows a travel-time diagram of the ejection device, which is brought into the closed position via a self-retracting mechanism. After tensioning the energy storage device, the movable furniture part is retracted via a self-retracting mechanism, which is designed to be damped, so that the closing speed slows down before reaching the closed position, as shown by the curved path. Before reaching the closed position, a movement of the locking element 64 or 80 begins so that the pin 41 of the control element 40 can reach an actuating position, which occurs when the closed position is reached. The user can thus unlock the ejection device again immediately after reaching the closed position or wait and then move the movable furniture part into an overpressure position, as shown in Fig. 20 is shown.
[0047] In Fig.Figure 21 shows a travel-time diagram in which the closing movement does not occur via self-closing, but is manually controlled into an overpressure position. After the energy accumulator is tensioned and the furniture part is moved beyond the closed position into an overpressure position and held there. Since the closing movement is continuous, the overpressure protection becomes effective and prevents the ejection device from being unlocked. After the movable furniture part is released, it moves into the closed position, simultaneously causing the locking element 64 or 80 to move. When the closed position is reached, the pin 41 of the control element 40 has also reached an actuating position and can immediately trigger the ejection device 6, if necessary.
[0048] By changing the properties of dampers 60 or 88, the duration of the locking element's movement can be adjusted if the movement from the overpressure position to the closed position needs to be slowed. This can increase the operating reliability of the ejection device 6.
